(Akimis POV)

I sighed, closing my eyes as the memory replayed itself in my mind, as clear as if it were yesterday. It was 2 years ago. I was playing with my older brother, Neji in the field, Karin and Tenten was there too.

"You remember a couple of years ago when the Hidden Cloud ninja attacked the village Karin?" I asked. She nodded looking thoughtful.

"Yeah. Itachi took me and Sasuke ni-san to the hidden houses to hide while Father, Auntie and uncle fought." Karin thought back to that day.

"Well, Neji ni-san and I rushed to the houses, but there was a rock slide and I lost his grip. I must have lost conciousness, because the next thing I knew, Watari and Izumo-sensei was standing above me. Then they brought me here." I told them.

"How did you end up here Karin?" Kiro asked.

"Yeah, we know what happened to your family, but how did you end up this far from home?" L asked.

"Sasuke told me to run. So I did. I ended up in the Hidden Sand Village where the Kazekage decided I needed out of Japan and he paid for me to get on a ship heading for England. Watari was at the dock when I got off the ship. He brought me here." Karin told us.

"I'm surprised you trusted Watari enough to go with him after all of that." L said.

"Well, I just have a way of telling the good guys from the bad." Karin replied.

"Hows that?" Kiro asked.

"I can read a persons heart. It'd like seeing colors for me. If the persons heart is a light color, it means thier good, dark is bad, and neutral is a bit of both. Most people are neutral, but Watari in a bright yellow for me, and so is L's. That is why I was able to trust them so quick."

"What about Itachis though?" I asked.

"I grew up with him, so that made it a bit harder. His heart was normally neutral as is most ninja, but towards the end his heart darkened just a little."

We heard a knock at the door, and Izumo-sensei and Watari walked in. Karin stood and bowed to them.

"We wanted to make sure you were alright, Karin." Watari told her. She smiled at them.

"I'm fine Watari-sama, Izumo-sensei." She replied.

"Would you come with us Karin? We need to talk to you." Izumo-sesei told her. She nodded slowly, and left the room with the two adults.

(Wataris office-Karins POV)

Watari-sama led me to his office, where a woman was sitting in a chair. The woman stood when the door was closed.

"Hello Karin. My name is Aiko. I am a counseler here for children who have been through horrible things, like you."

"Your Japanese." I stated, noticing her name.

"Yes, I moved here from the Hidden Leaf village 15 years ago." She told me. I smiled.

"Thats where I'm from!" I grin.

"I know. I met your mother and father when they were just your age. Great people they were. I have some of thier things. I would like to give them to you." Aiko replied, smiling gently.

"In fact they are already in your room, as well as your belongings." She told me. I smiled back, happy to have some things from mother and father.

We went to her office, where we talked about all sorts of things. She asked me about my family, and I told her that I was the youngest of 3. I told her about my older brother Itachi and my twin brother Sasuke. And I told her what happened to my clan. We talked about my training and the jutsu I can do.

"So, how do you like England Karin?"

"Its nothing like living in the Leaf. Thats for sure. They have a lot of strange things here, like those cars.. and they don't have a Kage, nor very many ninja. I think Kiro, Akimi and I are the only ninja here."

"There are some good things here too though, like ice cream, chocolate, and L, Watari and Izumo-sensei too."

We talked for a little while longer, until it was time for dinner.
