The recovery was long and it bored Clara to no end. She had never spent so much time in a hospital before. Countless check ups, three skin graphs, and numerous wrapping changes. She had spent a lot of time trying to make the burns on her body less noticeable. She already had two scars that were never going away on her arms, she didn't need more. The entire recovery process was just over two weeks, and she still made time for last-minute wedding plans.

The dresses were a perfect fit, the flowers were in and being assembled, the hall was paid for, hotel rooms were booked, and the happy couple had reconciled their differences. Clara and JJ were busier than ever as the date started to get closer. Between check ups and dress fittings there were also cases that needed their attention. Nothing to life threatening or intense, but they were still hard cases.

Clara was so preoccupied by the wedding and everything that needed to be done she didn't even notice how close Dean and Adrian had gotten. They had bonded over everything from cars to music. It was almost like they were meant to be friends. Clara never had to worry about leaving them alone because they always found a way to entertain themselves.

The only thing that had changed was Dean's doubt that he could bring Sam back. He and Clara were watching the news one night when a story came on that changed his mind. He had started to make a lot of calls and spend a lot of time on the internet. He bought so many books that nearly took over their bedroom. Clara had kept quiet about the small obsession because deep down she really wanted Sam back too but it was getting out of hand.

"Adrian would you please stop moving." Clara sighed as Adrian stood on a chair. Adrian was the ring bearer at Penelope and Derek's wedding and his suit had come in a few days early. The cuff on his pants were to long so it made his pants look to small. "I can't do this if you squirm."

"Well I'm sorry but Penelope picked the itchiest pants I have ever had the displeasure of wearing." Adrian complained.

"Well you only have to wear them once." She sighed. "Plus I can throw them in the washer and add like half a bottle of fabric softer..." Clara shrugged.

"Dose that even work?" He laughed.

"I don't know... but we'll see. But until you stand still I can't do anything." She huffed.

Adrian huffed and before Clara could go back to fixing the length of his pants something was dropped in front of the door. They both looked up and around the corner to see Dean at the door with a duffel at his feet. He looked at his watch and tried to find his keys.

"Going somewhere?" Clara asked with a small laugh.

"Uh... ya." Dean nodded. "Lawrence for a few days." Dean said.

"You're joking right." Clara had to laugh.

"No." Dean looked over his shoulder as he pulled his jacket on. "I'm meeting a voodoo priest there." Dean said turning to face them.

"Why?" Adrian and Clara asked quickly.

"Well apparently he is the best at contacting the recently deceased." Dean sighed. "See if Sam wants to chat." Dean smiled.

"Um.. okay how long will you be gone?" Clara asked trying not to be judgmental.

"I don't know? A few days a week?" he shrugged as he walked past them and into the living room.

"A week?" Clara said a bit shocked.

"Yeah look I think I got a way to get Sam back." Dean said as he looked through a pile of books.

"Okay... but do you really think is now the best time for this?" Clara said quickly following him. He didn't answer. "Dean?" She questioned as he looked through a book.

"What?" He asked in annoyance. "I didn't waste the last month to just not go." Dean laughed.

"Waste?" Clara said in a hurt tone. Dean nodded as he walked past her and headed for the book shelf. He took John's journal from a shelf and flipped through it.

"Okay seriously what's going on?" Clara had to laugh she was really hoping he was joking.

Dean sighed deeply. "I just told you. I'm going to Lawrence and hopefully I can bring Sam back." Dean smiled.

"You really thing that is wise?" Clara crossed her arms as she watched Dean flip through John's journal. Clara could tell he didn't see what was wrong, he really thought what he was doing was perfectly fine. Clara sighed. "Adrian will you excuse us for a sec... Dean and I are going upstairs to talk." Clara said walking over and taking Dean by the arm and forcing him to follow her.

"What the hell?" Dean groaned as Clara pushed Dean into their bedroom.

"Are you kidding me!" She had to yell. "You want to drive off to Lawrence alone on just a hunch? Do you not see how crazy you are right now?"

Dean sighed. "It's not crazy. I've taken a case on less." He huffed.

"Yeah and how did those usually turn out?" Clara rolled her eyes. "I'll tell you how they turne out. They ended with you seriously hurt or dead people at your feet." Clara shook her head. "Look around you." Clara said to Dean he looked around at all the books. "Do you see this?" She asked.

"What the books?" He asked.

"They aren't just books Dean." Clara said. "This is obsession." She said with a huff throwing her arms up.

"I thought you said we should find a way to bring Sam back? I thought you were good all this? And it is not an obsession." Dean said raising his voice.

"No what I said was I was all for finding a way to bring Sam back, but you did make a promise."

"When do I ever keep those promises?" He huffed.

"I'm not talking about the one you made Sam. We both know you never keep those... I mean the one you made me and Penelope." She sighed. "You promised you would be there when she gets married."

"That's not for another month." Dean laugh.

"The wedding is tomorrow Dean." Clara corrected him as she crossed her arms.

"Oh... well I'm sure she'll understand. You just tell her that..."

"When I tell her? Tell her what? That you aren't going to her wedding? You can't be serious." Clara was so confused. A few weeks ago Dean was fine with Sam being gone and now he was dead set on getting him back. "You aren't going anywhere." Clara had to make an order. She didn't like do it but Dean couldn't see how dumb he was being.

"Wait... are you telling me what to do?" Dean asked with a head tilt.

"Well I would rather you just realize how stupid this is and we could be done with it." Clara said.

"I am just going to check up on a lead." Dean sighed.

"A lead?" Clara sighed.

"Okay you need to relax." Dean said. "I'll be back in a few days." Dean stepped forward to kiss Clara on her cheek but she stepped away quickly. "Fine." He huffed and headed for the door.

"You're turning into your father." Clara spoke up before he left. He froze in the door way and she knew that hurt. "When your mother was killed he went on a rampage and hunt for Azazel... it became his obsession." She said as he slowly turned around. "You made a promise to Sam you would try and live a normal life. And we were doing so good... what happened?" Clara had to ask.

"I realized my brother was actually dead and I was the only one who could bring him back." Dean yelled a bit.

"I am asking you not to go." Clara said walking up behind him and placing a hand on his shoulder and he swatted it away.

"Well I have to." Dean said as he walked out and headed down the stairs.

"Dean." Clara yelled as she rushed after him. He stopped for a second next to Adrian and ruffled his hair with a smile and left quickly. "Dean." Clara called again with a more forceful tone. He didn't even turn. He just got in his truck and took off.

Clara stood in the doorway with her mouth hung open in shock. She was still so confused that she couldn't even speak for a minute. She stepped back and slammed the door shut. She understand his need to bring Sam back but this was weird, even for him.

"Are you gonna go after him?" Adrian asked reaching down to scratch at his leg.

"No..." Clara shook her head.

"Why?" He asked following her into the kitchen.

"Because." Clara rolled her eyes. "Get back up here." Clara ordered as she pulled out chair. "Those pants aren't even yet." She sighed and Adrian paused. He was going to say something. "Adrian please." She sighed. Clara didn't want to talk about just happened, because she didn't even know what to say.

That night was a late one. Clara had spent hours trying to go through Dean's computer search history trying to find what he found. She had a few glasses of scotch before she finally gave up. Dean had somehow erased all his history which made Clara worry and angry. She downed her fourth glass of scotch before standing up slowly. She wobbled a bit as she threw the glass into the sink. It made a loud bang and she looked at the clock. 3:20.

"Winchesters." She rolled her eyes as she stumbled up the stairs. When her head finally hit the pillow she was out for the night. She tossed and turned as her mind started to play with her emotions. Nightmares of Dean being swallowed whole by some unknown thing, were just the start of it. The sound of someone banging at her bedroom door woke Clara up 4 hours later. "What!" She yelled out.

"Clara you have to wake up!" Adrian's voice cried. Clara rolled over with a groan and the door opened. "If you don't get up and shower now we'll be late." Adrian ran in and shook Clara.

"Alright alright... I'm up." She laughed just to get the shaking to stop. Her head felt like a hundred pounds and her legs felt like jello but she got up. "Why did you let me sleep in?" She asked rubbing her eyes as she walked toward the bathroom.

"Because you needed it." Adrian huffed. "Just so you know Penelope has already called twice..."

Clara sighed and turned to Adrian who sat at the edge of her bed. "Alright go get your suit and take the dresses and have them ready by the door. I'm just gonna shower... be ready to leave in an hour." Clara said quickly.

"Yes Ma'am." Adrian nodded and took off to do as he was asked.

Clara rushed in the shower and threw her hair into a pony tail while it was still damp. She could fix it later but if she was late she would never hear the end of it. So she rushed down the stairs. Adrian was waiting patiently, only he was staring out the window.

"What you looking for kiddo?" Clara asked as she ran into the kitchen to grab a muffin. She really needed coffee but had no time.

"Dean." Adrian said. "He should be back soon."

"Um... how do you know that? Did he call?" Clara asked walking back over to Adrian.

"No... but I know he'll show." Adrian nodded.

"Alright we gotta go.. we should have left ten minutes ago." Clara said grabbing her muffin and keys. "You take the dresses and your suit lay them in the back." She said and Adrian nodded. "And be careful!" She smiled as he ran out the door with one of the three.

"Where the hell have you been!" Penelope's shriek caught Clara and Adrian by surprise. They hadn't even taken one step into the hotel before she came running toward them with big teary eyes.

"Wooh.. hey what's the matter?" Clara asked quickly one she saw the tears on her face. "A bride should not be crying on her wedding day... well other than happy tears." She smiled a bit.

"The flowers..." Clara sighed. "They aren't right."

"Okay well I'll fix it." Clara nodded as they started to walk back to her room. "What's wrong with them?" She asked.

"I..." Penelope paused and opened the door with a sigh. "They just aren't right." She sighed.

"Um okay well I'll got see the florist and talk to him... anything other fires I need to put out?" Clara smirked and Adrian laughed.

"Derek isn't answering his phone."

"Maybe he just slept in like me..." Clara joked and when she saw the look on Penelope's face she stopped laughing. "Alright no joking... I'll find him too." She nodded.

"Thank you." Penelope sighed and threw her arms around Clara tightly nearly crushing her. When she pulled away she noticed the tired eyes. "Are you alright?"

"Of course... two of my friends or getting married today! Why wouldn't I be." Clara smiled and Penelope saw through the fake smile.

"I may not be a profiler extraordinaire like you but I know your fake smile." She huffed. "Just tell me what's up."

"It's nothing to worry about." Clara shook her head.

"That's right. He'll be back." Adrian said as he placed his suit down over a chair.

"Who'll be back?" Penelope asked but spoke before she got an answer. "Oh seriously!" She shook her head. "Where did Dean go this time?" She asked.

"Apparently there is a priest that specializes in talking to the recently deceased so..." Clara shrugged.

"He still wants to bring Sam back?" Penelope asked as she sat down and made Clara sit with her.

"Well yeah. It's his brother." Clara shrugged.

"And you want him back too right?" Penelope asked.

"Yeah, but we've tried... we've searched everywhere. I just don't think it's possible anymore."

"Why?" Penelope asked.

"Think about it... Sam was dragged into Lucifer's cage with Satan riding inside and his brother Micheal was pulled in as well." Clara sighed. "They have nothing better to do with Sam than toy with him in every way imaginable. It's been a month, that's ten years in hell time."

"But Dean was down stairs for our months and he turned out fine..." Penelope tried to stay positive.

"That isn't the same." Adrian spoke up. "Dean was tortured for thirty years but then when Alastair offered a way out he took it." Adrian said. "Doing the torture and having it done to you is very different. Plus Alastair wasn't nearly has skilled as Lucifer." Adrian said quickly.

Penelope and Clara looked up at him with wide eyes. "Thank you mr. know it all." Clara shook her head with a smile.

"What? I was just trying to explain." Adrian said.

"You really need to stop reading those books." Clara said with a sigh.

"Well maybe there is a way." Penelope broke the quiet.

"I'm not saying there isn't a way... I just wish he would have at least taken someone with him or waited and I could have gone." Clara sighed shaking her head.

"You want to go back to that?" Penelope asked.

"Back to what?" Clara had to laugh. "Looking for answers? It's what I'm good at."

"It's true..." Adrian started. "Of course it never ends well."

"Again thank you." Clara rolled her eyes at him with a small smile. "Look can we not talk about this anymore... We should be focusing on you." Clara smiled.

As the hours passed slowly Penelope, Clara, and JJ all passed the time trying to get everything in order. JJ had gotten the flowers sorted out and Clara had finally gotten a hold of Derek. It turns out his bachelor party ran late and he was passed out on Rossi's floor. Clara couldn't stop laughing after she heard all the stories from that night. She never knew how much a couple of FBI agents could accomplish in one night and three bars.

Penelope had been very talkative all day which was a good sign. She seemed so happy and was very excited. The hair and makeup stylist focused on Clara and JJ first. Because JJ already have perfect hair they didn't have to do much then pin some of it up but Clara was a different story. In her defence she never took care of it so when the stylist had to cut it and dye it a lighter shade of brown she didn't really notice, but it was a pretty big change. She had let her hair grow out but it was no shoulder length and curled.

Then came the hard part. Getting Clara's dress on was a bit of a struggle. Penelope had told the seamstress to tighten the dress so it was more flattering but she never thought about how to actually get it zipped up. They fought with the fit for about ten minutes before the zipper finally went up. Clara held her tongue about how tight it was because Penelope looked so happy so she didn't want to say anything.

Once JJ was in her dress it was Penelope's turn. She started to get nervous and they couldn't help but smile at her. Once the dress was on everyone was speechless. She looked so beautiful no one could put it into words. JJ started to cry and had to leave for a minute before her makeup started to run.

"Wow." Clara said with a big smile.

"Right." Penelope laughed. Clara stared at Penelope for a long time and for some reason her eyes started to burn and tear up. "What is it?" Penelope walked over at her and tilted her head.

"Nothing..." Clara smiled. "It's just..." She looked down at her arms, she ran a hand over her scars left by Sam. "I'm so happy for you two." She said looking back up as one tear fell.

"Hey..." Penelope said quietly making Clara look up at her. "I'm glad you're here." She said and then they hugged each other tightly.

"I think we both need a drink before we get this show on." Clara smiled. "I'll be back with a bottle of wine."

"That sounds awesome!" Penelope laughed.

Clara was headed down the hall trying not to trip over her shoes. It was ridiculous that she had to wear high heels, but Penelope and JJ said they made her look even better so no point in arguing. She was about to turn toward the stairs when she noticed something was off about the room at the end, the door was open and it was really quiet. That was were the guys were getting ready but not a sound came from inside. She walked over quickly and knocked on the door.

"Hello?" She walked in quickly.

Hotch, Reid, and Rossi were pacing the room and they all looked so concentrated. They looked over at her as soon as she walked in and they all looked relived. "Clara!" Reid yelled and ran over to her. "Have you seen him?"

"Him?" She questioned. "You mean Derek... please tell me he isn't gone." She sighed as her whole body felt the shock.

"He was here one minute then the next he's just gone." Reid spoke.

"Seriously... can this day get any crazier." Clara sighed. "Alright everyone calm down... I think I have an idea where to find our run away groom." She sighed. "Not a word of this to the bride." Clara said and they all nodded. "I'll be back in a bit. In the mean time just relax..."

Clara rushed out of the room and headed straight to the roof. She was angry, scared, and happy for some reason. She just wished people could be where they are supposed to be for once. She stomped up the stairs in her heels and she didn't care how much it hurt her feet she needed to get Derek down that aisle. The door to the roof was already open and the sun shone through. She took a deep breath and the heat of the sun helped calm her down.

He was standing by the edge just staring over the edge. The view this hotel had was beautiful and she smiled. The hotel overlooked a lake and hundreds of trees and bushes of flowers. "Quiet a view." She spoke softly as she walked up to him.

Derek turned as she walked and the panicked look turned to a smile. "Wow... Clara you look good." he took a deep breath.

"Thanks... but you should see your bride, about a hundred times better." She joked with a smile. Derek's eyes fell to the ground. "You aren't running away are you?" She wasted no time.

"No.. Oh God no." Derek shook his head. "I just needed some air before... well you know." He shrugged.

"You nervous?" She asked placing her hands on her hips once she stopped in front of him.

"It's not that I'm nervous about getting married it's what comes after." Derek shrugged.

"What comes after?" Clara asked a bit confused by the question.

"You know a house, white picket fence, and kids." He sighed.

"Isn't that what you want?"She asked.

"Of course but with our jobs... Being on the road all the time and away from each other isn't going to be easy."

"No it isn't." Clara nodded and understood his worry. "But you guys lasted this long, why question it now? If it works, then it works." She smiled.

"You were never worried?" He asked and she was confused by his question. "You and Dean... you were never worried that while you were apart he wouldn't find something better?" He asked.

"Well that's not really the same." Clara sighed. "Dean and I were very different at one point. I grew up in a house with just me and my dad and he grew up on the road and in motels." She sighed. "He was used to not having any attachments and so was I. We were friends for a very long time before anything ever happened." She shrugged. "Same with you and Penelope." She smiled. "But again me and Dean are very different than you and Penelope on many levels." Clara said quietly.

"Yeah but you never worried about growing apart?" he asked.

"Is that what you are afraid of?" Clara laughed. "You think you and Penelope are going to grow apart?" Derek shrugged. "Well you shouldn't be, because I don't think that is humanly possible." He looked at her with hope in his eyes.

"How can you be sure?" Derek asked.

"Because I believe, I guess." She sighed.

"Believe?" He questioned.

"I believe if two people truly love each other... there isn't anything on this earth, above or below that can stop them from being together." She smiled and Derek was confused by her words but understood the point.

Walking down the aisle was a lot easier once Clara knew Derek would be there waiting for Penelope. He looked so nervous but he was there waiting patiently. Clara walked her arm linked with Spencer, all the way to the end and they both smiled at each other before parting ways. JJ walked with Rossi and did the same. When the violin started everyone stood and waited. No one said a word until they saw Hotch with his arm linked with Penelope.

She had the biggest smile on her face as they walked slowly. Clara could tell she was nervous and excited just by how she was breathing, heavily. Clara smiled and when she looked over to Derek to see his reaction she nearly started to cry. Derek had one hand over his mouth and the other over his heart. His eyes were wide and already tearing up. Clara had to bite down on her cheek to stop the tears from falling.

After two of the most touching vows she had ever heard Clara finally let more than one tear fall. They fell slowly but they were joyful. She couldn't drop the smile on her face and in that moment she was the most happy she had been in a very long time. The words "I do." From both Derek and Penelope caused everyone to cheer while they kissed.

Derek and Penelope walked back up the aisle their hands folded tightly together as husband and wife. The rest of the wedding party followed them outside. No one had said a word until they were out side. Derek and Penelope turned only to be flooded with hugs and laughter.

The whole group talked as they made their way down the path behind the hotel to get their pictures taken. Adrian followed next to Clara and wouldn't stop telling Penelope and JJ how pretty they were. Jack was in Arron's arms, and Henry had found his way to his mother as well. It was another moment for Clara that was filled with pure happiness and joy.

The next two hours were saved for photos. It seemed to go by fast and once the sun was almost gone dinner was about to be served. Speeches were made, more tears fell, and stories were told. Clara had a speech prepared for the longest time but as she watched Derek and Penelope enjoy their first night as a married couple everything started to change.

"I'm not one for long drown out speeches or anything to sappy. So I think I keep this short." She smiled as she raised her glass and stood at the head table next to her friends. "I've spent my whole life running, not depending on others and not really getting attached to people." She sighed. "But that all changed my first day at the BAU. When I met a brightly dressed tech and her sometimes stubborn best friend." Everyone let out a small laugh. "I pray you two will live a long and happy life together. I don't know what I would do with out you." Clara smiled and everyone clapped with small laughs.

Penelope stood quickly and hugged Clara tightly. Just as she let go there was a small beep sound. It made them both look down at the table at Clara's phone. She had a voicemail. "Maybe it's Dean." Penelope smiled.

"I'll listen to it later." Clara said not wanting to leave.

"You should just call him to make sure he is alright... Go." Penelope knew she wanted to call Dean.

Clara nodded as she grabbed the phone and walked out of the hall. She slid her phone open and dialled the voicemail. "You have one unheard message, from today at 2:29p.m." Clara sighed knowing that was about three hours ago. She pressed play, she had barely made it out the hallway before Dean's voice spoke. "Clara? I..." Static started to cut the message off. "I...need...demon...trouble...Clara?" Was all she could hear as the static started to break up his sentence. Her heart started to beat quickly and she headed outside. She started to panic as she quickly started to call Dean.

"Hello?" He sounded normal.

"Dean? Are you okay?" She asked quickly.

"Clara? Yeah I'm fine... take you long enough to get back to me." He laughed.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Oh it was just some demon... I just needed an experts opinion only she didn't answer." he laughed.

"You idiot." She huffed as she slammed the door and walked outside and down the path. "You scared me... god." She ran a hand through her hair.

"Well I'm sorry." He sighed. "How's the wedding?" he asked and Clara shook her head as she walked slowly.

"It's fine... kinda different then I would expect." She sighed. "But then again I've never actually been to a wedding so you know..."

"Yeah same." Dean huffed with a laugh. "Oh by the way..." he paused and Clara sighed. "You look beautiful." A small laugh came from him and Clara turned quickly.

Clara hung up the phone once she saw him. He had a big smile and even managed to find his suit. She smiled and walked over to him quickly. She threw her arms around him and held tightly. After everything she had seen today all she cared about was Dean and that he was safe. She no longer cared that he took off and when he hugged her back she knew he was sorry, he didn't even need to say it.

"How did you get here so fast?" She asked pulling away slightly and look up at him.

"Well I did have a little help." Dean said taking a step to the side.

"Cas?" Clara said with a bigger smile once she saw him. She let got of Dean and walked over to him quickly. He was only a few steps away but when she hugged him it was like she had run a mile. She was out of breath and squeezed him tightly.

Cas was awkward for a bit as Clara put her arms around him. He looked over to Dean who nodded and Cas hugged her back. He had not seen her since the fire and no matter how many times she prayed to him he never went to see her. He should have though.

"Thank you." She said quickly. He looked down at her confused as she pulled away. "For you know saving me." She smiled.

"I couldn't heal you." He said looking at her shoulders and seeing the slight ridge to her skin.

"Cas you pulled me out of a burning house... I think you did enough. Plus see I'm fine." Clara smiled as Dean walked over to stand next to her. "How did you know where I was?" Clara asked quickly feeling Dean's arm go around her back and his hand rest on her hip.

"Just because you don't seem me doesn't mean I don't see you." Cas sighed.

"But I thought you were trying to restore order upstairs... how did you even have time to help me?" Clara asked.

"It's taken me a long time to come to the conclusion that you two are my friends." Cas sighed. "Plus everything you've been through has proven to make you and those around you stronger. And it didn't seem fit for you do go out in a blaze of glory in the literal sense." Cas shrugged.

"Did... did you just make a joke." Clara smiled a bit and Dean laughed. "I think humanity is growing on you Castiel." Clara smiled.

"I think so as well." Cas nodded showing a small smile. For Cas those were rare and Clara smiled right back.

"If you're not to busy I know someone who would really love to meet you." Clara looked over at the hotel quickly.

Dean looked down at Clara and smiled. "You want to bring the bride our angel?" He whispered.

"Well she has read and heard so much about him I think it's time she knows we aren't lying." Clara smiled.

"I'm confused." Cas said.

"Well follow me." Clara stepped forward and grabbed Castiel's hand. He hesitated to follow her but when Dean joined her side he went along. The music started to get louder as did the voices inside. Cas was amazed at how such a small group of people could create so much noise. As Clara pulled Cas inside he saw many people and he wondered who they were. "Oh Adrian wanted me to tell you to go see him when you got here." Clara turned to tell Dean.

"How did he-"

"He knew you were gonna come back." Clara added with a smile. "That kid might have more faith in you then me." She winked and Dean smiled. Cas watched as they both went separate ways and he followed Clara. He followed her through a small group of people and then all of sudden all he could see was white. "Penelope." She called out and she came running in her flowing wedding dress, Cas was amazed by the dress and the shier joy this women had.

"Is everything okay?" She asked quickly.

"More than okay." Clara smiled as she pulled Cas forward. "I want to introduce you to someone." She smiled. "Technical analysis Penelope Garcia slash Morgan, this is Castiel... angel of the lord." She smiled.

"Oh my god." Penelope whispered covering her mouth. "You're real... holy crap... this is awesome I have an actual angel at my wedding!" She nearly yelled. "It is so nice to meet you." Penelope quickly shook Cas' hand.

Cas had to smile at her excitement. "The pleaser is all mine. Clara has told me and the Winchesters a lot about her team, you included." He smirked a bit. "I guess congratulations are in order on your recent nuptials." He nodded.

"Thank you." She smiled. "And I wanted to personally thank you on behalf of all of our team, for saving Clara." Penelope's smile fell a bit. "We thought she was a goner back in Nevada."

"Well I knew she would be more useful alive than dead." Cas smiled. "It was very nice to meet you but unfortunately I have to go." He nodded shaking her hand again. Cas then took Clara's hand and pulled her out of the way. She was a bit confused but once he looked at her she noticed his almost sad expression.

"What's wrong?" Clara asked as Cas pulled her into the hallway.

"Nothing." He smiled. "This may be the last time we see each other for a while and I just want to make sure you are okay... I know losing Sam hasn't been easy for you or Dean."

"You're right." Clara nodded. "And I miss him and think about it everyday but I think with time we might get past it. I mean it took almost thee months for me to get used to Jessica being gone but..." She paused.

"What is it?" Cas asked when he noticed her face fall.

"I know Sam would have wanted to go out fighting." Clara smiled. "Good luck with restoring the angel order." Clara sighed.

"Thank you." Cas nodded.

"And Cas?" She asked and he looked to her. "If you ever need help... please just call or something?" She asked with a sigh. "You don't have to fight all your battles alone... we never do." She smiled.

"Alright." He nodded and Clara hugged him quickly before he could disappear.

Clara was left alone in the hallway for a minute before she rejoined her friends. It had already started to get late but everyone seemed to be having a good time. Dean, Clara and the rest of the team had a few drinks and enjoyed the night. The clock had just struck midnight when some people started to leave. Clara had notice Henry and Jack getting tired so she mentioned to Adrian that they should head back to their room and sleep. Clara knew Adrian would fall asleep before Clara so she had gotten him his own room. He was more than happy to go to his room and sleep.

Clara was talking to JJ and Will when she heard something unusual. She took a drink of her wine before looking over just incase it would help. She nearly dropped her glass in shock when she saw it. Derek and Dean laughing as they talked. A small smile came her to lips quickly as Rossi joined the conversation and the laughs started again.

As the night went on soon it was only the team left. They all sat at a table with the last bit of alcohol left in their glasses. They were all taking and then the band played one last song and when Clara heard it she smiled. The piano alone made Dean sit up straight. It was a slow tempo but Clara and Dean knew that song anywhere. Hey Jude had always been a sad and happy memory for them. Dean had to smile when he noticed Clara get up. He didn't want her to leave so he stood and grabbed her and pulled her into him.

Dean wrapped one arm around her tightly and held her hand up with the other. He looked down at her with a smile as they started to dance slowly. It only took the rest of the team and their dates a second to join. Clara was caught off guard but she smiled and followed Dean's lead. They hadn't dance together in almost three years.

They both looked over at Penelope and Derek and smiled. "It's ridiculous how happy those to are." She whispered and Dean nodded. Dean pulled Clara in closer and sighed. He didn't want the song to end.

When the song finally did end everyone was headed back to their rooms. It was just about 2 in the morning and it was odd how awake Clara and Dean were. They said their goodnights to the others and then looked at each other with a sigh. "Walk?" Dean asked putting out his arm to take her hand.

Clara smiled and took his hand quickly. They walked outside and along the path that eventually led to a small white bench. They walked slowly and Dean held Clara's hand tightly. Fighting off that demon today had made him rethink how he had been acting lately.

"I met Karen." Dean said randomly and Clara looked up at him as they walked.

"Who?" She asked with a small smile.

"Karen.. Bobby's wife." he said.

"I thought she died?" Clara asked.

"She did but apparently the dead rising from the grave was part of he apocalypse and what not." He sighed.

"Well? What was she like?" Clara asked with a smile.

"Sweet... made great apple pie." Dean smirked and Clara laughed and rolled her eyes. "She was different from what I excepted."

"What did you expect?" Clara asked.

"Well a hunter really..." He shrugged.

"Dean, Bobby didn't learn all his trick till after she died."

"I know but I just thought she would be I don't know..." He sighed and Clara looked up at him.

"Oh God how did Bobby handle it?" She asked quickly worry washing over her quickly.

"Well he didn't like that she was going to turn on him but he handled it pretty well." Dean shrugged.

"I highly doubt that." Clara sighed. "The man had to kill his wife again... that couldn't have been easy." She said quietly.

Clara sat on the bench first and Dean watched as she lifted one leg at a time to take her shoes off. She placed them on the ground and looked up at him. "It wasn't." Dean said to himself as he stared back at Clara. A small smile came to his face.

"What?" Clara asked and Dean sat next to her quickly. He didn't say anything before he put on hand up to her cheek and pulled her into him. He placed his lips on her and kissed her roughly. Clara was surprised by his kiss but quickly went along. She put an arm around his neck as he tried to pull her closer. The kiss went on for a bit and Clara noticed how eager and needy it seemed. When Dean finally broke the connection he rested head against her forehead. His eyes were still closed and Clara opened her slowly. "What was that about." She asked with a bit of a laugh. Dean opened his eyes and smiled.

"Ash told me to do that." he said quietly.

"What?" Clara's eyes got wide as she pulled away from Dean slightly.

"Well technically he said, 'if you don't get your shit together and stop being a big baby I will personally haunt you.' So..." Dean smiled. "That was me getting my shit together."

"Okay... but how did you talk to Ash?" Clara asked with a smile of confusion.

Dean sighed. "Well when Sam and I went to heaven he was there." he sighed sitting back and Clara looked at him with big eyes. He rubbed his face knowing he would have to give more of an explanation than that. "We kinda died and ended up in heaven, then Cas sent us looking for a certain angel and it was... well a weird day." he sighed.

"Who did the killing?" Clara asked right away.

"Yeah I'm gonna tell you that." Dean smiled.

"And why not?" Clara asked with a huff.

"Because the second I tell you, you will go out and kill them." He sighed.

"No I won't." Clara rolled her eyes. "Just tell me, who was it." She said.

Dean sighed as she sat forward with a smile. "Roy and Walt." He said.

"That good for nothing, son of a bitch." Clara stood quickly and started to pace. "I'll kill him." She said through her teeth.

"See that's why I didn't want to tell you." Dean laughed as he sat back again and watched Clara pace angrily.

"I'm serious.. I'm gonna hunt that idiot down and-"

"Okay easy." Dean stopped her. "They'll get theirs in time." He sighed. "Let it go."

"Seriously? The man killed you and you want me to let it go?" Clara stopped pacing and looked at Dean and his smile. "And why are you smiling?" She huffed again.

"Well for one I think it's adorable when you get all flustered." He smiled and Clara shook her head with a smile.

"Won't be so adorable when I kick your ass." Clara crossed her arms and Dean laughed as she blushed. It was quiet for a second and then she sat back down. "Alright what else did you see? In heaven I mean." She smiled.

"Well Ash brought us to the roadhouse, Pamela showed for a bit and that was it." Dean shrugged.

Clara's smile dropped. "No one else?" She asked.

"No. Just woke up in one of my memories." He smiled.

"Memories?" She asked.

"Yeah, the 4th of July 1996." He smiled. "Sam and I set a field on fire after we blew a whole box of fireworks up." he looked down with a bit of a sad sigh. "Apparently that's what heaven is... reliving your greatest moments." He shrugged.

"Really?" Clara asked a bit surprised. "What else did you relive?" She asked wanting to know.

"Um just random days really... from when I was a kid." He shrugged.

"So you saw your mom?" Clara smiled and when Dean saw her smile he wondered why she was so happy.

"Yeah..." Dean dragged his voice.

"Must have been nice." She nodded looking away and sighing deeply.

"Is something wrong?" Dean asked a bit off put by her change in mood.

Clara was quiet for a bit. She hadn't told anyone about her little stint in heaven. She had tried to forget it for a long time because it hurt too much. But she remembered everything and she was confused. Why was her heaven so different from his? Was it because he had actually died or was it cause she wasn't supposed to be there in the first place?

"No... it's just different from what I saw." She said quietly.

"What does that mean?" Dean sat forward quickly.

"When I died..." She paused. "I didn't wake up in a memory, I woke up laying on some grass staring at the sky." Clara was still confused.

"Wait you've been to heaven?" Dean asked. "When? And why am I only hearing about it now?" He asked with a bit of a laugh.

"I was dead for a whole month... what did you think was gonna happen to me?" She huffed.

"Okay so what did you see?" Dean asked.

"The roadhouse basically." She smiled. "Only I got more visitors." She sighed. "Ash and my dad were first... then John and Mary." She said and Dean turned slightly to face her more. "I was only there for like an hour but it was like they were never apart." She smiled over at Dean. "They were happy." She said and Dean smiled.

"Good." Dean nodded and sat back again putting an arm around Clara. He pulled her closer and she lay her head on his shoulder. Then it was quiet. It was the first time they had both sat together and weren't asking each other a million questions or arguing over how to get Sam back. They both sighed and took in the peace, God knows it won't always be like this.
