(Karins POV)
We stood in the airport, waiting for our private jet. I watched L sadly. I didn't want to leave him, but I knew I needed to for Kiro and Akimi. I walked over to L.
"It's not too late to come with us, L-kun." I told him, giving him a small smile.
"Don't worry Karin. We'll see you sooner then you think." Watari told me. I nodded and left with my team.
"See you later L."
It was a three hour flight, before we made it to the airport outside of the Leaf Village. We were only 3 miles away from my home village. I looked over at Akimi who seemed to be feeling the same as I did.
"I'll get to see Neji ni-san soon. I hope." She said. I nodded, thinking about my friends I left behind here. Naruto, Sakura, Kiba, Hinata and Shikamaru...and Sasuke too. I wondered if he survived the attack. I didn't dare hope though. Itachi was too strong for us. There was no way he could survive. I felt tears come to my eyes. I quickly wiped them away before anyone notices.
We jump from tree to tree until we reached the gates. Izumo leads us to the gatekeepers, and I can hear them whisper.
"Can it be?" One asked. The other nodded.
"Thats her alright. Karin Uchiha." I just ignored them as we passed. Akimi knew what they were talking about and ignored them as well. She used her Byakugans, probably to find her brother.
"I need to go speak to Lord Hokage. You can hang out in the village for a little while. But meet up at this hotel in 3 hours to check in." Izumo-sensei told us. Then he disappeared.
"Come on Karin!" Akimi exclaimed, grabbing my hand and running through the village. She was excited about something. We ran and ran until we reached an alley, where three Genin were standing. 1 boy had blonde hair, and the girl had pink hair.
They did not matter to me though, the one I was interested in was a boy, with short black hair and a blue shirt with a red and white fan on the back. I grinned happily, and tears came to my eyes once more, but this time, they were tears of happiness.
"SASUKE!" I called to him as I ran to my brother. He turned around just in time to catch me.
"Im so glad to see you!" I cried happily. I hugged him and he hugged me back. The pink haired girl got ticked off.
"Hands off MY Sasuke!" She yelled. I looked up and laughed.
"Its nice to see you too Sakura." I greeted her.
"How do you know my name?" She asked.
"You guys forgot me? At least my brother hasn't." I replied.
"KARIN? IS THAT RALLY YOU?" Naruto asked. I nodded.
"It's nice to see you too Naruto-kun." I grinned. Kiro walked up to us.
"This is Kiro, he's my teammate. Kiro, this is Sakura, Naruto and my brother, Sasuke." I introduced them.
"And you all know Akimi-chan." I replied, pointing out my quiet teammate.
"Can I talk to you alone Karin?" Sasuke asked. I looked over at everyone. Sakura, for once, didn't seem jealous. Akimi nodded with a smile.
"Go ahead Karin. I'm gonna show Kiro around and look for Neji ni-san." Akimi told me, and left with Kiro behind her. Naruto gave us a blank look. I nodded to my brother and we went home.
When we got there, Sasuke looked me straight in the eyes.
"Where have you been? What happened to you?" He asked.
