(Karins POV)
We stood in front of a large area surrounded by fence, and several gates. The woman from yesterday was standing in front of us. We watched as 3 little kids came up to Naruto, asking for interviews for the Academys paper.
*I remember being in the Academy. Before Itachi went crazy and killed everyone.*
When the interviews were over, the proctor, named Anko, told us what we were going to do in this exam. How we are to spend 5 days in the Forest of Death, fighting other teams to get a set of scrolls.
There are 2 scrolls, the Heaven scroll and the Earth scroll. We will be given only one scroll and we will ahve to fight to get the other scroll, then go to the tower in the center of the forest before the 5 days were over, with both scrolls.
Anko gave each candidate a release form, so we can't sue for any injury we get in this exam. We filled them out and turned them in. We got an Earth scroll. Kiro kept it in his ninja pouch. We went over to gate 33 and stood, waiting for the gate to open.
"This place looks creepy, doesn't it?" Akimi asked. I looked it over.
"Loos like a normal forest to me." I replied. "Although, its not gonna be easy, here. We'll be surounded by enemy ninja, and predators."
"We'll just have to be on our gaurd then won't we girls?" Kiro stated. We both nodded, determined looks on our faces. The gate opened and we rushed inside. We took a quick look at our surroundings and continued on.
"Akimi, use your Byakugan to find us a team with the Heaven scroll." Kiro stated. She nodded and did the handsigns. She was quiet for only a moment.
"There is a team 100 meters east of us. They don't look too tough. We can take them on." She told us and we ran, following her.
It was a team of Waterfall ninja. They used mostly water-style ninjutsu, so I was at an advantage with my lightning jutsu. I made some handsigns, Dog, Dragon, Boar, Horse.
"Lightning strike!" I whispered, as lightning bolts crashed into the ground, knocking out the 3 ninja. we each took a ninja and searched them. Kiro found the Heaven scroll in his ninjas shirt.
"Got it. Let's go through the ground. It'll be safer and faster that way." He told us. Using his earth style jutsu to make a tunnel underground to the tower. We got there in about 2 hours. We walked into a room with a wall scroll on the wall.
"If qualities of heaven are your desire, aquire wisdom to take your mind higher. If eartly qualities are what you lack, train you body, prepare to attack. When heaven and earth are opened together the perilous path becomes righteous forever. This something is the secret way that guides us from this place today." I read.
"I think we're suppose to open the scrolls now." Kiro stated. Akimi held one scroll, while Kiro held the other. I watched as they opened the scrolls.
"Man? Person?"" Akimi asked. White smoke started coming out of the scrolls.
"Get rid of them guys! Its a summoning!" I cried out to my teammates. They threw them at the other end of the room and out from the smoke came Izumo-sensei.
"You guys passed! Congratulations." He told us. We grinned, and Izumo-sensei told us about the meaning of the wall scroll, then just as we were going to leave, Izumo-sensei wished us luck on the next round.
