Chapter 30: Alliance
Wow, Moka really sucks a lot of my blood- sure it's been a long time, but I might actually need a transfusion after yesterday, Tsukune thought with a tired sigh as he looked at the beaming pink-haired beauty. She was looking especially radiant, although it was at the price of Tsukune who had the shadow of death behind him.
"Tsukune-san looks drained- pale face, dead eyes, and even your soul leaving your body! Had you been having enough sleep?" Yukari asked with a cheerful smile.
"As always, Tsukune's blood is the tastiest…" Moka whispered quietly to Tsukune with a wink and blush.
"Blood?! What are you talking about? Oh… I see…" Kurumu said as a dark aura grew round her.
"Ya, Kurumu-san… that is… erm… it's not… ummm…" Moka paused, searching for a good excuse.
"Moka! You've been sucking Tsukune's blood again?!" Kurumu shouted as the two of them got into a small cloud of fighting.
"Kurumu-san, you don't have to worry- it's really nothing, I've been sleeping a bit bad so I look like this. It's all fine… excuse me for a moment," Tsukune said with a slight smile as he made his way to the bathroom.
"I don't know, I mean I don't even remember publishing half the stuff on the newspaper. I barely even know what Anti-Thesis is to be honest," Tsukune said with a light shrug as he walked into a dim room. Just when he'd returned from his washroom trip, men in black clothing (possibly Public Safety Commission) asked him to come along with him on suspicions of being a part of Anti-Thesis. It seems like someone has faked your club's newspaper- they're obviously out to get you as well as not wanting the school festival to occur, TSukune's inner voice said to him as he entered the Board chairman's room.
The only light was from the outside and the candles, some of which were perched on skulls; the chairman himself was sat down, his long white cloak and glowing eyes prominent in the dim glow of the room.
"You've come Aono Tsukune-san? I am the board chairman as you already know," the chairman said standing up with a creepy smile. It was the same person as the exorcist that had brought them to the hospital a few weeks ago.
"I see, I had a feeling you were someone important when I first saw you. So can I ask why you have called me, sir?" Tsukune asked politely.
"Quit school," the chairman replied straight away.
"What?"
"That's why you've been called here; as of today, you Tsukune-san, are expelled from school," the chairman said, leaving him dumbfounded.
"Wow, wow… slow down. I didn't do the newspaper- you've got no reason to expel me," Tsukune replied slightly surprised.
"That's not the problem here- this Anti-Thesis problem has been around for a while. This graffiti demon is a headache because he runs especially fast, meaning that he's difficult to catch. We can't let this go on- we have to be able to answer to our other students," the mysterious chairman said with a weird smile.
"That's why we're expelling you."
What the hell? I've became the scapegoat for the school?! Tsukune thought with panic.
"This situation has been brought upon by your friends' and your own actions- leave, then you can leave a peaceful life without the threat of death or being attacked. Wake up to your surroundings, Aono Tsukune," the chairman explained as he glanced out of the window.
"No, I cannot agree to that, rather this is the life I want right now! With friends that I can trust and to open the world to coexistence- for that right, I will fight," Tsukune declared, making the chairman's eyes glow a brighter shade.
"Let me make a deal with you, chairman, let me stay in the school and I'll take care of this Anti-Thesis problem," Tsukune said with a sigh. This would be more trouble for him, but he didn't want to leave the school and his dear friends.
Straight away, it was obvious whom he was, holding a graffiti can, the figure had light-coloured hair with a hat over it and was strangely, wearing slippers. That's our man right there… Tsukune thought as he jumped down to the man, surprising him as he was coating the wall with graffiti.
"Hey, are you the graffiti demon, the one who has been causing this current problem I have right now? Why are you doing this?" Tsukune asked, he knew the answer to the first question already.
"You see, I don't really know either, but our leader is targeting your group because of a certain reason. Midou and Mako have been taken care of- that's why he doesn't intend to let you off," the vandal said as he disappeared for a split second travelling at immense speed. Tsukune quickly dodged, narrowly avoiding the sharpened legs of the man.
"Dodge all you want, you won't be able to catch up with me!"
As Tsukune reached for his katana hilt, there was a female call, as both males stopped.
"Stop! Please don't harm him… even if you don't do anything, he won't be able to stay in the school… expelled. Please stop! Your group have already caused him to be expelled- what else do you want?!" Moka cried, her eyes starting to water up.
"Wait, Moka, thi-"
"Tsukune, I went to ask the teacher… I don't want to be separated from you. Even if you were expelled, I don't want to leave you… if you leave for the human world, then I'm coming with you as well…" Moka declared with her hand on her chest.
"Hmpf, expelled… haha. It's okay though, we've already decided to destroy the newspaper club, and so killing this girl right now will make things easier. If you think you have the ability to stop me from cutting off her pretty head… then be my guest," he said with scorn as he got into a running posture, his elongated fin-like legs giving him speed.
"Don't underestimate me…" Tsukune said with a darkened face as he disappeared, a red after-image the only thing visible. The graffiti demon smiled, thinking he'd triumphed but in front of him, Tsukune appeared and slashed his legs, before kicking him upwards on his chin. Graffiti boy was unconscious before he hit the ground.
"Don't worry Moka, I plan on staying at the school- I won't be abandoning you or anyone else…" Tsukune said with a bright smile as he held Moka's hand.
"Not bad at all, it seems like you did what you said you would, Aono Tsukune-san. But you'll have to support the school for a bit longer- this is your condition for staying here. Especially as we're short of people for the school festival- if you refuse, then I can expel you straight away," the chairman said sternly with a smile.
"My answer hasn't changed from then chairman sir, as long as it allows me to stay here with my friends, then I will agree with your conditions," Tsukune declared standing up, with a firm expression on his face.
Another chapter, readers. Not much to say about it, it's about 60-70% similar to the chapter in the manga so yeah, still following a similar storyline. To the guest VizioVHollow: I'll probably make the romance quite similar to the manga, because I think that unlike most harem mangas, the love that each of the girls have for the protagonist (Tsukune) is more genuine, so I'm not like fully eager to single out one girl for him to have an intimate relationship with. Anyways, thanks for all the reviews and support, and hope you enjoy. P.s. school in like two three days, ah hell no.
