(Karins POV)

It was finally the day we left the tower inside of the Forest of Death, which we had entered nearly a week ago. The test itself lasted for 5 days,then we had the knockout round because too many teams passed the exam.

Out of the ten one-on-one battles, 8 people made it to the 3rd exam. Sasuke, Naruto and Shikamaru made it from the Leaf Village. All three of the sand ninja made it. Gaara was the one with the bloodlust, Kankuro was other boy, and Temari was the girl. Finally there was me, and a sound ninja named Dosu.

The other 2 fights, Sakura vs Ino, and Akimi vs Kiro, ended with a tie, meaning none of them passed.

Akimi and Kiro decided to go out and enjoy a day in the village, and I made my way to our hotel, and who was standing in front of it?

It was Watari and L. I grinned when I saw my best friend and secret crush. I walked over to them while they had their backs turned towards me.

Watari was the first to notice me as he turned to look behind him. He smiled and placed his hand on Ls shoulder, telling him something too low for me to hear.

L turned around and smled when he saw me. I smiled back, as happy to see him as he was to see me.

I walked up to him and hugged him, grinning even more when his arms wrapped around me in return.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked him as we pulled away.

"We are here for the final exam and cheer you on in it."Watari replied. I smiled warmly at them. L blushed a very light pink and nodded.

"Why dont you take Laurence and show him around the Village?" Watari asked me, emphasizing on the name he gave me which meant that we were to call him that while we were here.

"Do you want to?" I asked my best friend.

"Sure." He replied. I took his hand and watched him blush a little more. I smiled at him. And we walked off.

(Ls POV)

Karin semed happy to see me. I am glad. I let her show me around her home village. She showed me Hokages mansion, The mountain was next.

"Inside the Hokage mountain are safe houses for if and when the village is attacked. Non-ninjas and children usually hide there." Karin was telling me.

"Karin." We heard from behind us. We turned around to see a boy, about our age, with the same dark hair and eyes as Karin.

"Ohayo Ni-san!" Karin called to the boy. We walked over to him.

"Laurence, this is my twin brother, Sasuke. Sasuke, this is my best friend from England, Laurence" She introduced us.

*So her brother did survive the massacre. Does this mean she is going to stay here when the Exams are over?*

They talked for a little bit until a grey-haired man with a mask on his lower face popped up behind Sasuke.

"Kakashi-sensei." Sasuke said to the man. Karin bowed to him a little.

"Ohayo Kakashi-sensei."

"Are you Sasukes sister by any chance?" He asked her.

"Hai. I am." She replied. "And this is my best friend Laurence."She introduced me.

"I am Hatake Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura, and Narutos squad leader." He told us. Then he turned to the other boy.

"We need to get on with your training." he told him. Sasuke nodded.

"Ja ne Ni-san." Karin told her brother. He nodded and replied with another 'Ja ne'

After they left I asked her what that meant. She said it meant see you later.

We ran in to several of her old friends. Sakura had pink hair and green eyes, and she was obsessed with Saskue, like most of the girls from her class. Sakura was also on Sasukes team.

Naruto was a mischevious blond with blue eyes. He often argues with Sasuke and he is also on his team. He could tell that he likes Sakura, even though she ignores him.

Then we met the kids she calls 'Team 8", Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, and Kiba Inuzuka and his dog Akamaru.

Hinata is Akimis quiet and shy cousin who likes Naruto. Kiba and Akamaru are partners, and Shino is a bug user.

Then we met the other kids that went to school with Karin, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akimichi.

Karin told me never to call Choji fat to his face. He acts like Pummba off of Lioin King when he is called a pig.

Shikamaru is as smart as I am, but he is very lazy and thinks everything is troublesome. Ino is another one of Sasukes fangirls.

After we met everyone she knows we went back to the hotel where Akimi, Kiro and Izumo sensei was waiting for Karin to go train some more.
