(Karins POV)

The ninja that was talking to the appeared next to the proctor and told him something quietly, leaning towards him as he whispered. The proctor nodded and the ninja disappeared.

"The match between Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara has been postponed. We will be moving on to the next match." He told the crowd, much to thier displeasure.

"Will Karin Uchiha and Kankuro Come down here?" I heard the crowd whispering, surprised that there was another Uchiha alive. I was about to jump down when Kankuro raised his hand.

"Proctor? I withdraw! Please Continue with the next match!" He called. I growled out in anger, I really wanted to fight him too. Something is up.

(Ls POV)

I knew Karin was ready for her match, and I wanted to watch her fight. Everyone else around me seemed angry that they would not get to watch the match too. I guess everyone came here to see what kind of power the Uchiha clan weilds.

Which leads me to believe that the Massacre was no secret even to those not from this village.

I watched as a blond girl with her hair up in 4 ponytails landed next to the proctor. She must be in the next match.

"Where is she from?" I asked Akimi, who was sitting beside me.

"I think her name is Temari, and her headband shows that she is from the Hidden Sand Village, which is a 3 day walk from here." She told me.

I watched as that kid, Shikamaru fell into the arena. Akimi told me that Naruto got over-exited and pounded on his back, causing him to fall.

(Karins POV)

Temari is the first to attack. She takes out her giant fan and (without opening it) charges at Shikamaru and aims for his head. When the dust cloud disappears, Shikamaru is no where to be seen. . .he's hiding behind a tree! Then Temari opens her fan and does this wind jutsu I have never seen before and hits Shikamaru and cuts up the trees.

I look around for Shikamaru, not seeing where he is. Shikamaru appears in the middle of two trees and when the dust cloud disappears his shadow possesion jutsu is heading for Temari. She backs up and when she thinks she is safe from his jutsu she takes her fan and makes a line in the ground to stay behind.

Shikamaru was making a strange handsign I have never seen, which is odd because I know all of the main ninja handsigns. The second time Temari did her wind jutsu, Shikamaru had taken off his shirt in the process and taken out a kunai. Then Shikamaru did his shadow possesion jutsu again but this time it went farther than the line Temari made so she jumped back in surprise

As the sun grew lower, the range increased. But then another shadow appeared and Shikamaru's jutsu kept going. Temari dodged it and looked up. There was Shikamaru's shirt tied to the kunai making a new shadow for him to work off of. Then his shirt and kunai landed the ground and Shikamarus Shadow Possesion receded.

Temari put her giant fan in front of her and seemed to be thinking of a strategy. She started to make the hand signs but suddenly. . .she couldn't move. Shikamaru had got her with his shadow possesion jutsu! He got her through two holes in the ground that were connected. So he started to walk forward and so did Temari. Then Shikamaru stopped and put his hand up.

"That's it! i give up!" He stated. I was stunned. After all of that he was giving up? Why?

"W-what did you say?" Temari had asked. Shikamaru replied,

"I used up my last bit of chakra doing the shadow possesion. I would have lasted 10 seconds." Shikamru replied as he put his hand down and reversed the jutsu.

"The winner is...Temari." The proctor announced.
