(Sasukes POV)

I watched as Gaara transformed into this sandy colored half-racoon dog, half-Gaara type creature. The right side of Gaara's body is transformed and the left side remains normal. The monster is super strong and quick and begins attacking me. I had to hide while I tried to come up with a plan.

I sent out clones against Gaara, but they have no effect. I decide that the Chidori is the only way that I can attack him. We lunge at each other. Gaara is hurt which only seems to excite him, and he grows a tail. I have used up my maximum amount of Chidori for the day and I decided to use my fireball jutsu on Gaara which has no effect. Gaara hits me hard and knocks me into a tree.

Then, Gaara gives the "your just like me" speech to me, and I think about the death of my family. Even though I am at my limit, I decide to try the Chidori again. I form the Chidori in my hand, and though it seems irratic, it still works enough to cut off Gaara's monster arm which is, of course, replaced by another demonic arm on his left side.

I am down though, the seal Kakhashi gave me broke and Orochimaru's curse mark has taken over the left side of my body. I am now unable to move and Gaara is closing in. Just as I am about to be hit, Naruto arrives and knocks Gaara away. Sakura and the Pakkun comes up and kneels beside me.

(Narutos POV)

After we came to save Sasuke, I tell everyone to run and get away from Gaara because I know what is going on. Gaara is like me, a jinchuriki. Gaara moves to kill Sasuke while I am still talking. and just before he hits Sasuke, Sakura stands in front of him, trying to stop Gaara from attacking our fallen teammate. Gaara tells her to get out of the way and pushes her into the tree pining her with his demonic hand. Gaara is waiting for me to attack.

(Kankuros POV)

I watch that Karin girl pull out a scroll. She looks up and I am surprised. She has the same eyes Sasuke had in the 1st exam.

*So, she is an Uchiha. I will have to be careful then.*

She opens the scroll and swipes her bloddy thumb across it.

"Fire style: Pheonix Summoning Jutsu!" She says and the sky suddenly darkens.

(Izumos POV)

I was fighting alongside some Leaf Jonin, Kakashi and Gai, here in the stadium. I looked up in time to see the bright blue, sunny sky suddenly darken, and fire lighting the sky in red and orange. I knew what this meant.

Karin was using that jutsu. I nodded, knowing that she was protecting her former village, and everyone inside. Whoever she was fighting was in for a real shock.

(Haishis POV)

I had my Byakugan activated as I defended my village when I saw it. That Uchiha girl that was hanging with Akimi was using a powerful jutsu. a jutsu that should have been impossible for a Genin. A Jonin level jutsu.

The sky darkened like an angry storm was approaching and flames of orange and red lit the sky surrounding the village.

(Karins POV)

The fire bird appeared from above the black clouds and I told it to attack the giant snake I could sense in the village. It agreed and left.

I turned back to my opponent and used my favorite lightning attack, Lightning Strike. It hit him and he passed out.

I rushed back to the village to help in anyway I can.
