Well, here's Chap. 18

Hope you guys enjoy it. The chapter is a bit similar to my emotions right now coincidentally, but I assure you it was something that I had to write for Matsuda's sake in the story so far.

Chapter 18: Cloudy Vision.

Several days later...
The confusion kept on. Lingering in what seemed like the only one who gave a damn about the latest actions taking place. The young cop's vision was blinded everyday by a simple rag. Not knowing of anything around him. Where he was at was also not known to him. He had been taking against his own will; and that thought only angered him further. Biting his bottom lip; he dared to speak up. "When will I be released? I no longer have any business here..." Commented the young cop.

No answer was heard. No shadows we're present through the rags. Only constant silence. At this point Matsuda felt annoyed. Lately thought... That has been his attitude lately; Annoyed, angry, regretful, and unforgiving to himself for these several years. A feeling of guilt could never be released; so he had to live with it. Drown in it. It made him sick, and this new situation was not helping him. Getting no answers, Matsuda began to drag his chair a bit; as best as he could; since his legs where tied together as well as his wrist. Feeling a weight stop the dragging against one of the chair legs, he sighed to himself. Someone stopped him in his tracks. Someone obviously ignoring his presence.

On the other side that was obviously not blinded was Matt playing his PSP hand held game while keeping poor Matsuda put.

"I'm so sick of being the damn puppet... If I'm done here; I suggest I get released." Matsuda said agitated.

"Not your call buddy." Matt replied rather spaced out by the game.

Matsuda feeling like he would explode or something; remained calm by taking a deep breath. It's what kept him sane enough. That, and to figure out how else he could keep the remaining Yagami's safe. The ones he knew of course.

"Well then, why am I here? Could you answer that much?" Asked Matsuda trying to keep calm.

"That is none of your concerns." Matt replied in a monotone voice.

Matsuda felt as thought his veins we're burning now. If he could catch on fire with everything around him it would be a fitting end to the chain smoker in front of him. After all; every several minute he could tell his host was well addicted to those cancer sticks. He could no longer stand the horrid smell escaping his host; towards him. The guy had a serious death wish for the amount he constantly smoked often. Like he was trying to go suicidal or something along those lines.

"Excuse me. But if I'm in danger here, and being kept against my will... It is my business. It is my concern. So you either tell me, or when I ever get the chance to be loose I'll make sure to put you behind bars. Just because you guys are so smart; does not make you better then me. After all; you anti-social geniuses always need people as pawns to do what you think your to good to handle. Not one single person can change the world. L himself said so." Matsuda said rather frustrated.

The game had paused; triggered by the gamer's own reaction. Looking up; he released the guy had a point, but he had rules to follow; protocol.

"You have a big mouth... You know that? Look; if we survive what's coming I promise to tell you everything. I will tell you this. Someone is looking to harm Sayu, and I'm going to help you stop him. That's all, so sit tight." Declared the red head. Staring at the cop with anew found respect.

"Yeah, I've been told I got quite a mouth. Alright. I can hold on a bit more I guess." Matsuda said.

Matt finally feeling like things we're fair enough; began playing his game again. Pausing it again. Only to get up, and wash his face off of all the blinds he constantly put against himself and the real world. It would soon be time to open his eyes, and face the monster lurking behind the red blood curtains.

Behind closed doors hid the rat pulling the strings. Drinking the alcohol that stung at his throat like venom. Coughing it all out. These days he could just not swallow anything. A nervous wreck, but he had an ace in his hand that would soon get rid of all the traitors around him. Asking for another drink, T served him a second, telling Rat to take it easy on himself. Rat ignored him thought. Everyone was a vital threat to him. Including the red bloody pair of eyes behind him. Glaring with temptation in his eyes to end it all, but not without seeing her first. Before he had to save her. To let her know he was watching with caring eyes.

Well, I hope this was not to depressing, lol. TY guys for following so far.
