Sadly I have to warn you guys. There is only a few more chapters until protecting dragons is done. omg I feel so sad just thinking about it. This story took me on such a journey. I went through so much while I was writing this story. I should just start the chapter before I get more emotional :,(

Chapter 28: Taken.
"Cancer, you are a life saver. Thank you." Cindy breathed out a sigh of relief as she thanked the crab spirit.
"You're welcome, Ebi." Cancer breathed out nodding his head in approval. The crab spirit then turned towards his Master nodding at her. "I will take my leave now, Ebi."
"Alright. Thank you, Cancer." Lucy responded with a smile. With a soft glowing golden light her loyal spirit disappeared back to the Spirit world. The blonde woman then focused her attention back on her now red head sister. Cindy was running her own fingers through her long red hair with happiness. With a flick of her wrist, Cindy expertly tied her long hair up into a high pony tail while letting her bangs come loosely and unevenly down across her forehead. The long red hair complimented her older features and dark outfit, which was just black shorts and a black cropped tank top that was tightly pressed on her chest area. A delicate light blue cool snowflake necklace dangled loosely on her neck adding a delicate feature to her tough appearance. "Is it really that bad to be blonde?"
"I don't like being mistaken for you. It pisses me off." Cindy simply answered. Lucy rolled her eyes at her sister then turned towards the groaning guys nursing battle wounds given by Erza. Wendy and Grandeeney were busy away healing them. While Igneel and Metalicana were scolding at the annoyed Erza that she hit them to hard. A dark aura surrounded the scarlet mage as she yelled at them to shut up. Funny enough, both dragon's flinched back mumbling under their breaths. "Wussies." Cindy mumbled. She then turned towards her sister. Cindy thought about everything that has happened recently. A soft smile filled her face as she let out a sigh of relief. She didn't get to properly reunite with her sister earlier because of the idiots. "Hey." The red head let out softly.
Lucy turned back to her sister looking at her confused. Without warning, Cindy grabbed her older sister pulling her into a tight hug. Lucy let out a surprised yelp as her eyes widen in shock. Cindy wasn't one for affection and she rarely even hugs people. So this is a complete shock to the blonde, especially when she smelled.
"Cindy?" Lucy let out in shock as she smelled tears coming from Cindy. "What's wrong?"
Cindy pulled away with a loud sniff. The corner of her mouth tilted up into a soft smile.
"Mom and Jasmine said hi."
"You saw mom?"
"Yeah, we look just like her. She is so beautiful and strong" Cindy nodded and let out another soft cry as she hugged Lucy again. "And weird. Like my god, the temper she has is insane. She nagged the whole entire time."
"She does that." Lucy chuckled. She pulled away from her sister. Her honey brown eyes stared at Cindy sadly as she still smiled. Lucy couldn't help the small jealousy she felt for her sister. She got to see their mom, but. Lucy let out a sigh and shook her head. "I miss her. I wish I saw her."
"She misses you to. Look you know I am not good at the mushy shit and you know it. And the Spirit's knows I have been way too emotional lately." The red head breathed out. She rolled her eyes twirling her fingers on the end of her hair. Lucy looked at her sister with regret as she was brought back to when the Dragon took over her. The Dragon made her hurt her little sister. The little sister she was supposed to protect, she ended up hurting. Cindy let out another sigh as she took in Lucy's mood. "Lucy, what happened, happened. Ok? Don't make that ugly ass face, please. I love you. You know that right?" The blonde girl let out a smile as she nodded her head at her sister. Without warning, Lucy pulled Cindy into a tight hug. Shutting her eyes tightly, Lucy thanked the Spirits for their safety. "Uh, Lucy? You don't need to hug me. You can let me go now."
Lucy opened her eyes rolling them at her sister's comment. Dear Mavis, her younger sister is so weird.
"I'm so sorry, Cindy. I am so sorry I hurt you." Lucy breathed out pulling away.
She looked at her sister with shiny honey brown eyes. Guilt, grief, and regret filled her dark orbs. Cindy's face softened at her sister. The events that happened in Lucy's consciousness will forever haunt these sisters till the end of time. They will always remembered what they had to go through in order to save the ones they love and each other.
"You weren't in control, Lucy. It is not your fault. Don't worry about it." Cindy waved her hand in the air. "I don't want to ever talk or remember what happened ever again." She let out seriously looking at Lucy straight in the eyes. "Now, I'm gonna go and yell at the moaning idiots over there cause this mushy and depressing stuff going on now is too much for me."
And with that, Cindy walked away. She left Lucy with the image of her eye burning with determination. Lucy stared at her sister walking away in shock. Just like that, her little sister is passing off what happened before they were bonded. No, she won't. Lucy shook her head looking down as realization hit her. What happened will never leave them. They just have to try to move on from it. A soft smile graced the blonde's lips while she looked back up at her sister walking away.
They will move on from the horror of what happened.
They will do it together with the people they love. With their family.
Lucy let out a giggle as she witnessed Cindy walk up to Sting and Rogue. The red head bent down to their level. Her honey brown eyes were soft and warm as she stared at them. She then proceeded to scold the moaning men for not running fast enough away from Erza. Lucy shook her head at her sister. Not surprised at all that she was scolding the whining men.
Lucy's eyes then focused on her son sitting next to Natsu.
A soft smile graced Lucy's face upon seeing her son, Taiyo, laughing with the man that holds her heart. Natsu was currently being healed by Wendy. The pink haired man let out a loud laugh as he ruffled Taiyo's hair. Making the small orange and yellow haired boy whine while pushing Natsu's hand away with a pout. Natsu let out another laugh now teasing the boy. Wendy smiled as she shook her head. She informed Natsu to leave the boy alone. Natsu just whined to the Sky dragonslayer saying that he wasn't doing anything. Taiyo argued that he was being mean making Natsu quickly disagree. Wendy shook her head with a smile while she got up making her way to the arguing twin dragonslayers and Cindy. The young dragon spirit and fire dragonslayer then proceeded to argue like a couple of kids back and forth. Lucy's heart jumped at the sight as Natsu laughed putting Taiyo in a soft headlock.
The scene in front of her was like a father and son scene.
Soon enough, Lucy envisioned a small girl with pink hair running around with Taiyo chasing her happily. Natsu is holding a small baby in his arms. The pink haired man was laughing as he tickled the giggling baby in his arms. Lucy even saw herself sitting down on the soft grass with a heavenly smile on her face. Taiyo and the pink haired girl started to run towards Natsu laughing. The two hyper children knocked down the man holding the baby down on the ground. Natsu let out a gasp in shock as he stared down at the giggling baby in his arms in worry. Lucy saw her dream self get up getting ready to scold the children, but she was cut off by all four of them giggling happily. Lucy shook her head at the scene smiling softly to herself, her cheeks heating up.
"Ne, Lucy? You are really brave to be thinking about perverted stuff about Natsu now." Happy's voice giggled taking Lucy away from her thoughts.
Lucy immediately focused her attention on the blue cat glaring at him. Happy was flying in the air in front of her with his paws over his mouth. His cheeks were puffed as he giggled to himself.
"I was not thinking of perverted stuff." Lucy argued.
"Aye! And I don't like fish." Happy teased.
Her cheeks immediately heated up in embarrassment. Matching the color of Erza's hair, Lucy tried to calm her racing heart. She wasn't thinking of perverted stuff. No! It wasn't perverted! She just thought of Natsu and their family. Their family? Just the thought made Lucy's heart race in excitement. Oh dear Mavis help her. Happy let out another giggle upon seeing steam escape Lucy's red face. She looked completely flustered.
"I mean it, stupid cat!" Lucy let out.
"Ne, Natsu! Lucy was thinking pervert thoughts about you!" Happy laughed flying towards the now pink faced man. "She was red faced and drooling."
"I was not. Get back here, you stupid cat." Lucy yelled red faced as she chased the laughing Happy.
Natsu stared at Lucy with wide eyes, mouth open. He didn't know what to say or even do about that. Taiyo took this opportunity to get out of Natsu's hold and jump on the pink haired man knocking him back on the ground with an 'omph'. The small boy then proceeded to wrestle with the fire dragonslayer while laughing.
"Lucy's a pervert. Lucy's a pervert!" Happy kept singing in excitement as he flew away from Lucy's grasp.
Gajeel watched the scene play out in front of him with a cold expression. A red faced angered Lucy chasing a teasing Happy. While Natsu and Taiyo wrestled on the ground laughing. A small smile crept on the Iron dragonslayers face, but he quickly masked it with a glare. Wendy sat next to him on the ground healing his wounds. It wasn't long ago that she finished with Sting and Rogue, who are currently with the dragons and Erza talking. Wendy couldn't help but smile as she caught Gajeel's smile.
"Ne, Gajeel-San?" Wendy let out. Gajeel hmmed focusing his attention on the blue haired girl. Wendy just continued to stare up front to Lucy and Natsu. The new couple was now arguing while Taiyo and Happy were watching with teasing smiles. "It seems like old times, right?"
"Old times?" Gajeel let out looking back towards Natsu and Lucy. A fathom of a smile filled his features as he stared. Natsu and Lucy were now laughing as they teased the red faced dragon spirit and Happy. Then Lucy pushed Natsu for being mean to her son. Natsu whined at Lucy putting blame on her also. "They look like a family." Gajeel muttered out.
He felt nostalgia towards his wife and unborn baby.
"Don't worry, Iron ass. You will be home in time." Cindy's voice ran behind them. Gajeel turned his head towards the red head with a glare. Cindy smiled brightly at the black haired man then plopped herself down on the ground next to him. "Do you want to know the sex? I will give it to you free of charge as a thank you for saving me and my sister."
"How do-" Gajeel went to say in shock, but he quickly made an 'ahh' sound remembering Cindy's ability. He thought about her suggestion but quickly shook his head no. "It wouldn't be fair if I know the sex and my Shrimp doesn't."
"Oooh! You're so cool." Cindy let out in shock pushing Gajeel slightly with her shoulder. Gajeel rolled his eyes as he pushed Cindy back. The red head let out a laugh. "But in all seriousness, Gajeel." The red head let out seriously looking at Gajeel in the eyes. Gajeel stared back at her raising a pierced eyebrow. "You will make it in time to see the birth of your children."
"hmmm- wait did you say children? As in more than one!" He exclaimed in shock. Gajeel's red eyes widen in shock and panic as he stared at Cindy bewildered.
"I did? Ah! I did, didn't I?"
"Am I having more than one?"
Gajeel's heart picked up as he openly started to feel more panicked. Dear Mavis help him if Levi ends up with twins or worse triplets. Gajeel could see it now. The screaming, the crying, the hair pulling. The chaos. His beautiful long black mane would be tortured and Lily. Gajeel turned to see his exceed with Wendy now. Poor Lily. Those kids will eat him alive.
"I don't know what you are talking about? I didn't say anything." Cindy said innocently getting up from her spot. She smirked at the panicked Iron dragonslayer enjoying the fact that he is like that. A dark aura escaped Gajeel as he sent her a menacing glare. "Now listen, Tin Foil. Let's not take this out of proportion. You know I don't like telling people their future."
"Then why the fuck did you say children!" Gajeel roared jumping to his feet. Cindy let out a loud 'eep' as she jumped in the air high tailing away from Gajeel. "Get back here you fucking Yeti! Is it child or children! You can't drop a bomb like that then run off."
"What the hell are they doing?" Natsu let out looking up from the headlock Lucy had on him.
He and Lucy stopped their fight just to stare in confusion at Cindy and Gajeel. The Iron Dragonslayer was yelling profanities with his arm as a chainsaw as he chased the screaming Cindy. Taiyo and Happy followed the direction of their parents gaze in confusion. The four of them watched, eyes following Gajeel chasing Cindy around the complaining twin dragonslayers. Rogue and Sting held their arms up saying they are too tired to get involved. Metalicana was in shock upon overhearing that he will be a grandfather while Igneel laughed at him.
"It's Cindy. She always pisses someone off enough for them to chase her." Lucy let out in a disappointed sigh. She let go of Natsu dropping slowly down to the ground next to him sitting cross-legged. Taiyo turned back to his mother with a smile then quickly got up to climb on her lap. Lucy smiled wrapping her arms around her son's waist. She hugged him tightly to her chest closing her eyes making the boy wrap his small arms around her neck. "I missed you."
"Me to, Mommy." Taiyo let out pulling away. The small boy's hazel eyes shined with sadness as he looked up at her. "Don't leave me again. I was so scared, Mommy. I thought I was alone."
"Never." Lucy breathed out hugging her son to her again. "You will never be alone. I will never leave you. Mommy defeated the big monster." A tear escaped her eye and slowly trailed down her face. Natsu stared at the scene with a soft smile. Without thinking, the fire dragonslayer lifted his hand slowly wiping the tear from Lucy's face. When her honey brown eyes met his, Natsu simply smiled at her. She smiled back at him lovingly making his heart beat pick up. With one last sniff Lucy pulled away from her son. "I love you so much."
"I love you too, Mommy." Taiyo let out with a shining smile. The small boy then turned his head to look at Natsu. His hazel eyes narrowed at the man with anger. "Natsu!"
Natsu looked down at Taiyo in shock. He then let out a sigh upon seeing Taiyo glaring at him. Taiyo jumped off Lucy's lap to stand in front of the couple. His small hands went to his hips. Lucy looked at him in confusion. Natsu just let out a groan.
Here we go again. Back to square one. And here Natsu thought he and small boy were making progress.
"Natsu!" Taiyo let out with more authority pointing his small finger at the pink haired man.
"Yeah?" Natsu breathed out.
"Promise you won't hurt Mommy or make her cry!"
"What are you-".
The question caught Natsu by surprise. He stared at the small boy in confusion. He was expecting Taiyo to force him and Lucy apart.
"Promise!"
"Yeah, I promise. I would never hurt your mom. You know that."
Taiyo nodded his head completely satisfied with his answer. He had to do this. Taiyo knew that Natsu and his mom were soulmates. He couldn't stand in way anymore. Anyways, Taiyo stared at Natsu's confused expression with a smile. The boy remembers everything this man did for him and his mother.
'Pinky is not so bad.' Taiyo thought to himself. A smile covered his features as his eyes stared at the man with admiration.
Lucy let out a gasp figuring out what her son was doing. She lifted her hand up to cover her mouth as tears threatened to escape. Taiyo is.
"Promise you will stay by mommy's side forever and protect her from monsters!" Taiyo continued.
Natsu chuckled shaking his head. He slung his arm over the blushing blonde. Pulling her closer to him by her shoulders as he smiled down at the boy.
"Of course! We're partners. I will always stay with Lucy and protect her." Natsu responded happily.
Lucy looked up at Natsu with her face shaded with a permanent crimson color. She knew how dense Natsu was and she knew what he meant. She also knew what Taiyo wanted to hear. And this was not it.
Taiyo let out a groan smacking his small hand to his forehead. That is not the answer he wanted. The small boy bit his bottom lip. He remembered Aunt Cana telling him a while ago that when a man and woman love each other, they have to announce that they are together. The man must claim that the woman is his in front of everyone and 'seal the deal'. His Aunt Cana held such a mischievous face when she said it. She was completely red, but mind you she was also drunk. When Taiyo asked Cana what was 'seal the deal' his mom immediately intervened scolding the drunk brunette about the stuff she teaches.
Now how can Taiyo get Natsu to claim Lucy in front of everyone?
He wasn't conscious earlier when Natsu grabbed Lucy and kissed her. So Taiyo still believes Natsu and Lucy still haven't confessed their feelings to each other. He didn't want his mother to be alone anymore. Taiyo wants her to be happy and the only person that can make her happy is the fire dragonslayer in front of him. He is the only man Taiyo will accept to be his dad.
"Natsu? Do you love my mommy?" Taiyo let out getting straight to the point.
A small blush crept up Natsu's face. His heart quickened. Lucy looked up at Natsu with a small smile. His face completely red as he sat frozen in place with his mouth opening and closing like a fish. Yeah, he gave her the most passionate kiss in the history of mankind earlier, but he didn't tell her those three words. He didn't need to. Lucy knows he does. Hell, she felt it in the kiss. He will say them when he is ready. The blonde woman looked at her son with a disapproving face. She went to open her mouth to scold him for his bluntness, but she was quickly cut off.
"Y-Yes, I do!" Natsu blurted out stammering over his words a little bit. His heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest by how much it was beating. Lucy snapped her head up at Natsu in shock then smiled softly at him. Natsu looked down at Lucy. His Onyx eyes searched her angelic face for any sigh of regret. Why is he so nervous? This is Lucy he is looking at. His mate. Lifting a tan hand up, he cupped her face. "I love you. I have loved you since that day at the train station when you ran to tell me goodbye. I heard you when you told me to come back to you. At that moment I knew. That I loved you. I always will. I went on a seven year mission, but the whole time I left my heart with you." Tears were freely flowing down Lucy's cheeks as she stared up at Natsu. Taiyo stood to the side with a satisfied smile as he nodded his head at the scene. Natsu just kept on with his confession to the blonde. He should have told her all then when he kissed her earlier. "I'm sorry I was such a jackass when I found about Taiyo and the dragons. I put everything on you and treated you differently because I was hurt. But that didn't mean I stopped loving you or trusting you." Lucy's eyes widen. She remembered when Natsu told her he didn't trust her anymore when this all started. "If anything this whole thing made me love you more. You fought to protect Igneel and everyone while keeping your promise. You did all this alone. I'm sorry, you were alone. But not anymore. I won't let you be alone anymore. I will stay with you forever. I will help you train your new dragonslayer powers and raise Taiyo. We are in this together now and forever."
Lucy couldn't stop the tears from coming out. It was limitless as they continued to go down her cheeks freely and landing softly on her bare knees. Natsu's eyes held so much sincerity and love. The promise of his words made her heart clench in joy. All their adventures they had since they met will continue to go on till their last breath. They hit a new chapter in their adventure. Lucy turned to look at Taiyo. She will get what she always wanted. A loving family that will never leave her alone.
They will be a family. Her daydream will be a reality.
"Don't look at me!" Taiyo let out. He stared at his mom completely annoyed. "Seal the deal!"
"I'm going to kill Cana." Lucy muttered out. She looked back up at Natsu's confused face then grabbed him. Pulling his face towards hers, Lucy kissed Natsu. The pink haired man's eyes widen in shock then slowly fluttered closed. He brought the woman he loved closer to him as he kissed her back. Taiyo cheered along with Happy, who was watching the whole scene quietly to the side with Carla, Lily, and a now crying Wendy. After a couple minutes Carla cleared her throat as Happy made a comment about how bold they were. The now red faced couple pulled away from each other. "I love you, Natsu." Lucy breathed out. "I will hold you to your words."
"I know." Natsu laughed.
Natsu looked to the side at Taiyo and Happy. A bright smiled filled his face as he looked at the small boy. Natsu moved his head to the side motioning for both the exceed and boy to come to them. They didn't need to be told twice. Taiyo and Happy immediately jumped on Natsu and Lucy hugging them tightly. The couple laughed.
"Mira is going to have a heart attack when we return." Erza spoke up garnering everyone's attention.
A soft smile graced her lips as she looked down at the scene with a small smile. Cindy and the dragons stood behind her giving Taiyo a proud smile. Gajeel and the twin dragonslayers held scowls on their faces as they sat on the ground. Big bumps formed on their heads as steam rose from it, signifying they were hit really hard earlier.
"What's up with your head, Metal face?" Natsu let out getting up then helping Lucy up to her feet.
Gajeel scowled at Natsu as he muttered profanities under his breath. Lucy giggled as she heard him say that Erza was a demon under his breath. She figured the red head had enough of the fighting. Erza probably hit him, Sting, and Rogue for fighting. Lucy then focused her attention on her sister to see a large purple bruise forming on her stomach. Upon noticing Lucy's eyes on her, Cindy scowled immediately at Erza then her sister.
"We did not mean to disturb, but we have pressing matters to attend to." Grandeeney spoke up.
"We are in need of supplies." Igneel let out in a growl. His large Onyx eyes stared down at Gajeel, Cindy, Sting, and Rogue. "These buffoons destroyed everything while they were fighting." The four dragonslayers looked down at the ground with a guilty expressions. "Honestly, what made you take your fighting into the forest near our supplies is beyond me."
"Hey! We didn't know-". Rogue and Sting went to argue, but they were instantly cut off by Erza and the Dragon's murderous glare. They gulped out loud then looked down to the ground muttering to themselves. "It was Cindy's fault anyways." Cindy immediately snapped her head to them glaring at them.
"We should go to town then. " Lucy let out a sigh as she looked at her sister motioning for her to follow her.
"No, you're not!" Sting, Rogue, Natsu, Igneel, and Metalicana all yelled at the same time glaring at the sisters.
"Why the hell not?" Cindy let out coming next to her sister.
"It's dangerous!" Sting let out.
"We have been to town before, idiots."
"Well, you can't go!" Rogue let out.
"Are you telling me what to do?" Cindy growled at the men with her fist covered in ice. Sting and Rogue immediately shook their head no and kept quiet. "That's what I thought."
"Ano..Cindy-san. Lucy-san. I also think you two should stay here for now." Wendy let out timidly glancing at Cindy nervously.
She was afraid the red head will snap at her, but that never happened. Cindy let out a sigh agreeing immediately making Sting and Rogue protest, but they were stopped by Cindy's glare. Lucy shook her head at her sister telling her to behave. The blonde then turned towards Wendy with a confused expression.
"Wendy, the town is not that far. The people in the shops already know us. We can get what we need really fast and come back." Lucy let out sweetly.
"No. I will go to town to get the stuff. I don't want you to go." Natsu spoke up crossing his arms over his chest. He stared at Lucy with a serious expression. "You and Cindy don't know how to control your new powers yet."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Cindy yelled. "I know how to control my new powers. Watch!" Cindy immediately lit her hands on fire. The blue flames burned brightly on her hands. "See." She let out smugly. Then the fire burned stronger and brighter. The flames covered from her arm to her shoulders now. Cindy let out a yell as she attempted to turn it off, but she couldn't. With a last yell she flung her hand forward sending the ball of flames towards the forest. Everyone watched as a large part of the forest burst into flames then exploded like a bomb. Taiyo immediately ran inside in order to stop the fire from spreading. Cindy let out a nervous laugh as Igneel and Metalicana turned their heads sending the red head a dark glare. "See. Totally got it."
"Idiot! You just blew up part of the forest." Metalicana shouted hitting her with his tail.
"Shut up, Lizard! No one asked you to talk." Cindy retorted rubbing her now stinging back. He hit her too hard with his damn iron tail.
"Stop calling me Lizard, Blowfish."
"Oi! No calling me Blowfish!"
"I can call you whatever I want, Blowfish!"
"Why you fu-"
"Enough you two." Grandeeney spoke ceasing their arguing. She then looked down at Cindy. "Cindy, contain your anger before you send everyone ablaze."
Cindy let out a yell in surprise as she finally took notice that she was on fire. Taiyo and Happy let out a roar laughter upon the sight.
"That just proves our point, Luce." Natsu let out pointing to the running Cindy.
Cindy ran in circles not knowing how to turn off the flames with Wendy behind her. Wendy blew a gust a wind at her hoping that would douse the flames, but no. It made them worse. Both girls immediately panicked. Finally having enough Metalicana stomped towards them. Everyone watched in disgust as Metalicana moved his mouth over Cindy sending down saliva down on her. Cindy shrieked in horror as the saliva covered her dousing the flames. Igneel, Gajeel, Natsu, Sting, Taiyo, Rogue, and Happy were suffering from hysterical laughter now.
Erza walked towards the screaming Cindy. Lucy watched with amusement as the scarlet mage leaned down on wet sticky girl. Erza quickly suggest for them to go wash up in the river together. Cindy jumped away from Erza yelling no that she will go alone. As Lucy's younger sister stomped into the forest towards the river, Erza laughed and told Wendy and Carla to join them. Erza then grabbed Rogue and Gajeel exclaiming that they have a stench that needs to be washed off. Gajeel and Rogue yelled out profanities as they attempted to escaped, but the scarlet mage just dragged their screaming figures into the forest. Pantherlily went after Gajeel to make sure he will be ok while Wendy and Carla followed behind carefully. Metalicana called Erza a demon as he demand for her to let go of his son. Sting went to move to go after Rogue calling him a pervert, but Igneel held him back with his tail. Lucy could hear Igneel telling Sting, Natsu, and Happy about the supplies they need and where to go to get them.
"Why the fuck are you all coming to!" Cindy's voice screeched from inside the forest. A loud explosion soon followed as smoke rose towards the sky. "Damn fire shit!"
"Taiyo, come. We are all going to bath in the river to celebrate our new found friendship." Lucy sweat dropped as she heard Erza invite her son.
"Don't drag the brat into your fucked up friendship bathing shit! Don't-" Gajeel yelled. He was cut off with a hard punch. "Damn demon woman! Why the hell you hit me?"
"No cursing in front of the boy!"
"Lucy." Grandeeney let out grabbing Lucy's attention. Lucy turned towards the large sky dragon with confusion. "Acnologia's power is now starting to settle in both of you. Seeing how Cindy couldn't turn off the flames proves our point. You two must stay here, especially you."
"Me?" Lucy let out in confusion not understanding. She felt completely normal. Yes, there was the enhanced senses, but that's it. She is not bursting into flames like her sister, but there was something. Lucy couldn't pinpoint what it was, but there was something in her. Something sinister in Acnologia's magic. Something powerful dying to come out. "Acnologia didn't just control blue flames did he?"
"Afraid not, child." Grandeeney spoke shaking her large head. "We do not know the full extent of Acnologia's power. That is why we prefer you and Cindy stay here in the realm until we know for sure it is safe for you both to go out. Not only that, but you and your sister emit a powerful magical energy around you almost equal to Taiyo's. It will get the attention of the wrong creatures especially if they feel Acnologia in you." Lucy let out a sigh looking down sadly. A shudder ran through her body as her hands shook furiously. Grandeeney watched with a worried expression as Lucy looked at her hands in fear. She fisted her hands tightly then squeezed her eyes shut. The blonde breathed in and out slowly calming down her emotions until the shaking stopped. "You cannot ignore it, Lucy. It will only get stronger."
The shaking came back to the blonde. A cold shiver went through her entire body. The fear she felt still there as well as something dark. There is something dark fighting to surface within Lucy. Lucy felt the bond that she shares with Cindy grow stronger as if Cindy was pulling some of the magic out. Lucy looked back towards the forest to see more explosions as Cindy cursed the uncontrollable flames.
"How long will this last?" Lucy asked looking up at Grandeeney.
"I do not know for sure. Usually when a dragonslayer's magic is awakened within them it would take about a day or two for it to settle. It depends how strong the magic is. When Cindy's dragonslayer magic awakened within her it took about a little more than a week for it to settle. I believe it was because Jasmine was a water and ice dragon. Cindy had two elements in her. Cindy is experiencing the most of the effects of Acnologia's magic now because she was already has two elements." Grandeeney explained.
"What am I? I am not a born dragonslayer! Why am I a dragonslayer now?"
"That is what I would like to find out." Grandeeney thought out loud. She moved her large head down to look at Lucy. "I have a theory, but it seems it is a long shot."
"What is it?"
"Oi! Lucy!" Sting's yelled out. Lucy and Grandeeney put their conversation on hold as they turned around. They stared at Igneel, Sting, Natsu, and Happy with curious eyes. "We are going to town to get the stuff. Do you think Cindy wants anything?"
"Get her some ice cream or even ice." Lucy yelled back.
"Okay!" Sting yelled out happily.
"Do you want anything?" Natsu called out.
"Natsu, we can't get anything for Lucy. She might get fatter." Happy teased. Natsu chuckled shaking his head at his exceed.
"Damn cat!" Lucy growled. Her hand shook furiously as her body burned with anger. Steam seemed to raise from her body. Grandeeney stared with wide eyes as a power light orb formed on her right hand. The orb seemed to be sucking in the life force of the realm to get bigger. Lucy then closed her eyes as she felt violent thoughts overcome her mind. She breathed in and out slowly. In through the nose and softly out through her mouth. The large Sky dragon continued to watch in shock as the orb disappeared as well as the steam from Lucy's body. Lucy opened her eyes staring at Natsu with a bright smile. "No. I am fine."
"Okay I will bring you a strawberry milkshake." Natsu called out. "We'll be back as fast as we can."
Lucy shook her head at his antics. And with a last happy wave goodbye Sting, Natsu, and Happy went into the forest headed towards the entrance of the Dragon realm. Igneel yelled after his son to be careful then turned back towards Grandeeney and Lucy. The large red dragon stared in worry as Grandeeney looked at him in panic then back at the now shaking Lucy. She is fighting the affects now. Igneel walked towards the blonde carefully.
"Lucy?" Igneel let out carefully bending his large head towards Lucy. He moved his head so he had his eye looking directly at her. She was looking down with her blonde bangs covering her eyes. "Lucy?" Igneel let out softly again. He lifted his tail and lightly touched Lucy's shoulder. The blonde snapped her head up looking directly at Igneel. The red dragon's eyes widen in shock upon seeing the blonde's eyes covered in pure white. She didn't even look like she had pupils. Igneel then looked up at Grandeeney. "Her eyes."
"Lucy?" Grandeeney let out now with a hint of panic in her voice.
Lucy turned towards the Sky dragon to only make the large dragon gasp in shock. Lucy looked down again shaking her head from side to side while squeezing her eyes shut. The blonde then looked back up at the worried dragons with her honey brown eyes. The dragons let out a sigh of relief upon seeing the blonde's eyes now.
"Grandeeney? I know what kind of dragonslayer Acnologia was." Lucy let out shakily.
The magic still pulsing through Lucy as if telling her everything she needed to know about Acnologia's magic. When the white filled her pupils it didn't blind her. No. It made her see more clearly. It was like all her senses increased a thousand times. She was able to see the ants on the ground in the dirt perfectly as if she had a magnifying glass. She was able to smell all her friends and pin point where they were at just by that. She heard Natsu, Sting, and Happy leave the realm talking quietly to themselves. She was able to hear the heart beats of her friends at the river along with their arguing. When she looked up at Igneel. That's what scared her the most. When she looked at Igneel it was like she was able to pinpoint exactly where his heart his. Where the fire burned in his belly. She was able to pin point exactly where she could hit him to incapacitate him. The same when she looked at Grandeeney. But when her senses were heightened to that extent, Lucy didn't feel any emotions in her. It was as if they never existed in her and it terrified the blonde.
"What is it, child?" Grandeeney let out softly.
Lucy looked at the Sky dragon straight in the eyes. A dark expression filled her features.
"A Death dragonslayer."

"Man, I will never get used to this." Natsu mumbled looking down at the lake under his feet. Sting and Happy appeared next to him from the dragon realm portal.
"You got that right!" Sting whistled. The blonde man turned back to stare at the waterfall behind him. He stood over then crystal clear lake with a smile. He then looked down to see the fish swimming about minding their own business. Happy stood behind him with a look of hunger as drool came down his mouth. "Hey, Natsu I got a question?"
"What?" Natsu let out.
He turned his head slightly to look at the blonde man in confusion. He headed towards the edge of the lake. Sting and Happy quickly followed behind the pink haired man. Sting held a mischievous expression as he thought about what he was going to say. They entered the dense forest heading towards the lively town of Ember. Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched. Once in the forest, Natsu and Sting felt a strange dark aura surround them. Both blonde and pink haired men stopped to look around in confusion to see nothing around. They scanned around them carefully only to see nothing.
Natsu furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. His Onyx eyes narrowed not liking the feeling of being watched. Sniffing the air to only come up with nothing, he let out a sigh. It must be nothing. Maybe he is paranoid. After all the danger that they have been through. Even though only someone with the dragon gene in them can open the portal to the dragon realm. Everyone is safe in there. The dragons and his family are safe. He needs to stop being so paranoid. They are fine.
"You and Lucy are going to get married right?" Sting blurted completely cutting the tense atmosphere.
"W-what!" Natsu choked on his own spit. "What the hell!"
He turned around to stare at Sting with wide shocked eyes. Happy immediately let out a laugh shaking his head at them. Natsu's face heated up matching his pink hair.
"Aww come on Nat-." Sting went to say, but he was soon cut off.
A high pitch scream echoed in the forest making the three companions stiffen. Natsu and Sting held a serious expression as they ran towards the screaming. They jumped over large branches and weaved through the trees. Happy tried to fly as fast as he could to catch up to the speeding dragonslayers. The small exceed panicked as he told them to wait up. The screams from the unknown woman got higher almost deafening. She sounded like she was being tortured to death. The pure agony in her voice made the small exceed shiver in fear.
"Hey? Are you ok?" Sting's voice let out in concern.
"Sting, don't get to close. Something isn't right?" Natsu let out seriously.
Happy increased his speed in his wings as he had a weird feeling settle in his stomach. The blue exceed felt worry over come him as he could clearly hear the dragonslayers moving slowly towards the crying girl. As he flew, Happy couldn't help but look back. Cold sweat covered the exceed as he saw dark red eyed shadows come from in the forest heading towards him. When did they get there? What's going on?
"Natsu!" Happy cried out in fear for himself and Natsu.
"Hehe. Foolish human." Happy heard a dark voice chuckle followed by Natsu and Sting cursing.
An explosion shook the earth as fire exploded just up ahead.
"Ahh, Who the hell are you!" Natsu and Sting yelled.
Another explosion as well as a dragons roar. Happy's heart beat in fear.

Happy burst through the trees right when he heard a dark roar, but he was too late. The shadows enveloped him leaving him with the last image of a reptile like man dragging the unconscious dragonslayers. The exceed fell to the ground in exhaustion. The shadows surrounding him almost mocking him with their soft laughter. Happy's eyes slowly closed. The reptile like man turned his head to look right at the exceed. A dangerous smile appeared on his face. His fangs shined downward showing how sharp they were.
"We have our bait. Now we can execute our revenge."
