Here's Chapter 31: Behind those Eyes. The mystery here is pretty obvious once you read, if it's not, then I don't know what to tell you all. lol. You should of kept track of the story, then again I started out pretty bad anyways. My fault. XD
Chapter 31: Behind those Eyes.
The day was busy. Full of teaching, full of chores, and everything else expected on a routine day.
Sayu had gotten home with Maria, to eat dinner, and catch up on the latest. They both missed each other severely, and we're dying to be within each others company.
"So honey... You have homework today?" Asked Sayu as they finished dinner; and she took both of they're plates to wash off.
"Yeah! I'll get to it now!" Maria yelled back to her mother, as she ran up the stairs to do so.
Sayu smiled, looking up; making sure her daughter went up to her room to do so. Sayu turned around, and headed over to her computer. There she viewed the News of several places. She wanted to see if other places around the world had the same patterns of deaths. Heart attacks... By a death notebook. Sayu meant what she said; when she told herself she would look for the where a bouts of this threat; or at least try. She had her experiences after following her father's steps to the Justice System. Knowing well enough that as long as there was information available; one could try to track down a lead by paying close attention. Apparently England was just the spot. Criminals here have been dropping like flies. Strangely thought; this new Kira did not follow her brother; Light's killing patterns. Instead only criminals died. Never a single police, or detective trying to catch this new Kira. Something was different. As thought this Kira wanted to be found by the top detective; "L". Sayu had thought to herself. Observing more information being delivered into the News streams.
"What are you doing? What are you planning Sayu Yagami?" Asked the red eyed creature. His eyes glowing a vibrant way.
Sayu looked the Shinigami's way, looking then back at her screen.
"Following up on the world news is all Shinigami..." Sayu responded back. Sounding like she could care less about whether he was there or not.
"I gave you that notebook to protect yourself with. To kill those that had been pestering you. And you ignored my suggestion... Why?" Asked the unknown Shinigami's name.
"Because... It's my notebook. It's my decision. No one else's." Sayu responded back.
The Shinigami glared Sayu's way. Drilling his glares to the back of her head. Suddenly she had looked his way again. Turning a bit more to face the Shinigami in the face.
"If your so concerned about my way of owning the death note... Why not kill me? You can if you wanted. Yet you choose to suffer... Why? Why do you care about me; and what I do with it?" Questioned Sayu in a indifferent tone.
The Shinigami kept his eyes glued to Sayu's own eyes.
There for a couple of minutes where no words exchanged. No say in anything, until the Shinigami spoke up again. "Because I love you Sayu Yagami. Nothing more."
Sayu stared at the Shinigami twice; only to turn her gaze down.
"What's your reason for loving me? Love is a strong word. You should not toss it around carelessly. Tell me your real reason." Sayu said to the creature. Quite convinced with herself.
"You know where humans go when they write in the notebook of death Sayu?" The Shinigami questioned as thought the answer was obvious.
"No. No I don't. Where do they go?" Asked Sayu back.
"To nothingness... They can neither go to heaven or hell." Answered the Shinigami.
"Nothingness...?" Sayu asked again.
"Yes. Nothing." Repeated the Death God.
"Who are you...?" Sayu asked. Her voice trembling a bit.
"I should of been the new God of this world. But my chances we're ripped away from me thought... So now Sayu. Who am I to you?" Asked the Shinigami. Now closer to Sayu's face then before.
Hope you found out; just by reading. My conclusion to who the Shinigami is; the one stalking around Sayu. Quite obvious really. A theory of mine put into the story. Among others who also believe just that.
