Chapter 36 is up now. Now I'm not sure, but I might had said before in old chapters that this is the last chap. and that it would of been my last round, but that won't be happening. This might need a few more chapters to go, just a few. lol. Sad chapter for me to write btw. :( lol... XD

Chapter 36: Goodbye's.

Matt fell in silence, the only two things heard we're the silent breathing that escaped both himself, and Sayu beside him. The Wammy House... in danger... was all that crept in Matt's mind. The place he too; along with other children came to see as home; was in major threat, and that thought alone; Matt was sure was not harbored alone, he knew that Mello and Near felt his pain, regardless of they're pretend hatred for it. All those thoughts we're pulled away suddenly as Sayu made the first move, gripping gently onto Matt's hand that was resting on his knee that was pr-opt upwards.

He din't have to ask anything; he knew by those serene eyes staring at him with such kindness and sorrow, that she understood he had to go, and probably that this time would be they're possible last. Matt searched for words to say, but he was quickly silenced by Sayu's warm and sincere hug.

"You don't have to say anything Matt... I already know what you have to do. I just want to be sure... To let you know that as long as you have no regrets, and do things because you want to... I'll be beside you with your choice. Maybe not in person, but hopefully you'll have me in your heart. Along for the ride..." Sayu whispered against Matt's shoulder, as she embraced him tighter.

Matt gently pulled Sayu away from his arms, holding both of her shoulders, to connect in eye level with her.

"You know... I never wanted to leave you, not for a minute, and never could I see myself abandoning my childhood home completely... Either. I've never had to be stuck in a dilemma, and to me it's harsh, and unfair, because I hardly ever complained about anything until now Sayu... I always usually pursued what I was ordered by others." Matt said now looking down at Sayu's stomach, as he buried his face on it gently to cry. Something he had not done in a long time.

Sayu fell in silence. Her hands comforting Matt's back as he continued to sob onto her; without making a sound.

"Why was everything taking from her..." Sayu thought; fighting the tears that tried to pry from her swelling eyes.

Further thinking that she too had to pay for her sins like everyone else. Nothing further needed answering, as she sat there waiting to let death rip someone else from her arms. That pain was as real, strong and raw as a simple goodbye.

Goodbye's for now, might upload another chapter today. Who knows. ^_^;
