Things quickly calmed down after Sam had left. I had to focus on getting Adrian back into the normal everyday life. He went to school, learned to play guitar and he even had a passion for singing. He was slowly getting used to living with me and I would be lying if I didn't love having him around. He and Jack, although there was a major age difference got along well and when we were on a case Jack stayed with Adrian after school. At first Adrian didn't like being left alone for so many days at a time but he slowly got used to it and he did a lot to pass the time.

He had gotten to know everyone. He and Spencer shared a love of books, he and Morgan liked talking about old cars, and he, Penelope and JJ just talked about anything and everything. Adrian was very mature for his age so it was never a dull moment. It was those stupid Supernatural books that made him so comfortable around me. Adrian had literally read all of them at least twice and when he wasn't talking to Penelope about them he was asking me a million and one questions. I was fine with answering questions but they always brought back bad memories. As the months went on and the questions got more detailed it slowly occurred to me, it had been six months since I had seen Sam, and almost a year since I had seen Bobby or Dean.

The team and I worked cases and just lived our lives. Sometimes they were easy and other times well, it wasn't so easy. It was really taking a tole on me. Being a hunter I've seen my fair share of dead bodies, but when we worked kidnapping cases or when a child is killed it is the worse thing anyone could have to see. We would get some time off usually every weekend but sometimes we were gone for more than a week. However it had no effect on Penelope and Derek's wedding. We still managed to get everything done and soon the date was getting closer.

But as the date got closer the weather got worse. It was already mid april and instead of light showers or some wind we were hit by down pours and thunderstorms that knocked out the power for days. Tornados and hurricanes started to pop up everywhere and the death toll was slowly getting higher. It was getting biblical and I had no idea what to do. I had tried to call Bobby but he had sworn to Dean he wouldn't tell me anything, hell he wouldn't even pick up. I had tried calling Sam but he never answered. Cas was a lost cause as well. He was already mad at me for not helping fight the end of the world so I knew he would never answer my prayers.

"Alright so we are one month away." Derek called the attention of the rehearsal dinner guests. "And honestly I never thought I would be sitting here." he smiled down at Penelope who just looked up at him with red cheeks and a big smile.

I sat next to Adrian and Aaron as Derek went on with his little speech. It was a very stormy night, the lighting crashed and thunder boomed. The rain hadn't let up all day but that did not stop the party we had going on. Everyone had been drinking, I only had a few glasses of wine. I had a lot on my mind and drinking didn't seem to help. The worry and anxiety I was holding inside was slowly having a noticeable effect on my attitude.

"Clara?" Adrian whispered once Derek was done speaking and everyone went back to their conversations. "You okay?" He asked and I looked over at him quickly.

"Yeah kiddo I'm good." I smiled and he narrowed his eyes at me. I hadn't been sleeping much and I knew he could see it.

"You're lying." He whispered again. I said nothing. I took the last drink of my wine and Adrian sighed. "Can we go soon?" He sighed. "This shirt is itchy."

I laughed at him as he scratched at his collar. I looked down at my phone and noticed it was getting late. "Yeah alright." I smiled. I really wanted to change out of this dress as well. "Why don't you go get our jackets and I'll meet you out front." I smiled and Adrian walked over to Penelope hugged her tightly, said goodnight to everyone else and ran for the door.

"You're leaving?" Penelope sighed.

"Adrian's tired, he's got some homework to do plus we got an early start tomorrow." I said looking over at Derek.

"Oh you two and your workouts." Penelope huffed.

"Hey you know you like my finely toned body." Derek winked over at Penelope.

"Alright..." I stopped them with a laugh. "I will see you at 6 and you later on tomorrow." I said hugged each of them.

"We still good for lunch?" Penelope asked.

"Of course." I smiled as I looked over their shoulders and noticed Adrian at the door waiting. "Well goodnight everyone." I smiled.

"Night." They all smiled back.

"Clara wait..." JJ called out for me before I the chance to walk away.

"JJ don't." Reid said as the whole table looked up at me.

"Don't what?" I asked as I looked at everyone's faces.

"We weren't going to say anything but we have to." JJ said looking back at Reid. "We've noticed a change..." She sighed.

"A change?" I asked shaking my head with a small laugh.

"In you..." Morgan said looked up at me and that's when I saw the worry in everyone. "You just aren't the same these last few months and we just wanted to make sure you are alright." He sighed as Penelope looked away.

"Guys I'm fine." I sighed shaking my head. "We've all had a tough few months. I'm just tired tonight is all." I smiled trying to reassure them everything was alright, even thought it wasn't.

"Come on... we all know that isn't what's got you down." Morgan said. He stood up and walked over to me. "I got this you guys." He smiled as he took me by the arm and lead me away from the group. I looked over at them and they all sighed deeply. I looked over my shoulder to Adrian who looked confused.

"Morgan let go of me." I said as he pulled me away. His grip was tight and by the look on his face he was angry. Everyone seemed so calm but I guess my lying made it worse. "Morgan." I said taking my arm back as he turned to me.

"Look Clara I get that you went through a bad break up and that you needed your time but come on it's been a year." he snapped at me.

"A bad break up?" I laughed at him. "I don't know what you are talking about." I shook my head at me.

"Oh yea? That why you been acting like this?" He asked.

"Like what?" I asked trying to keep my voice down knowing the others could hear us.

"Like some love-sick teenager whose douche of a boyfriend dumbed her and she won't get over it." Morgan's voice raised a bit and I had to bite my tongue as he continued. "Penelope told me Dean left you and ever since you have been different. You need to get over it." He said. I could tell he had a few to many drinks but this was unnecessary. "He is just a guy and if you really think waiting around for him to come back will get you anywhere then you are delusional." Now he was just not making any sense.

"Okay why don't you go back and sit down and maybe lay off the booze for one night." I smiled kindly as I patted his shoulder and tried to walk away.

"No." Derek said grabbing my arm and making me turn back around. "You need to listen.."

"No Derek you listen." I snapped at him. "You have no right to tell me how I should be feeling and it's not your place to tell me to get over something. You have no idea what you are talking about and no idea what I am thinking so why don't you back off now before you say something dumb." I said in a hushed angry tone.

"You know it's for the best." He sighed deeply. "Dean was never good enough for you anyway." He shook his head and i just stared at him. Why was he pushing this. "Wasn't a good guy to begin with." he laughed.

"You don't even know him." I said trying to keep my anger down. I knew the alcohol was talking and Derek got very defensive and protective when he was drunk. "So just let it go." I shook my head.

Derek laughed. "I knew he was a deadbeat, abusive, alcoholic dick who just left you."

I shook my head and before I could control myself I punched him in the stomach making him bend over with a gasp. I grabbed Derek by his collar and made him stand. I heard the others gasp and stand quickly. I let his collar go and had to hold back the punch I was saving for his jaw. "Dean left to save my life. So next time you feel the need to voice your opinion on things you don't understand or people you don't know... just keep it to yourself or it will be a lot harder to catch you breath." I said through my teeth. Derek stared at me for a second. I quickly turned and stormed away from him. As I passed everyone else I saw the confusion in their faces. "Goodnight." I nodded to them and headed for the door quickly. "Alright, let's go." I smiled at Adrian as he passed me my coat.

"Are you alright?" He asked with big eyes.

"Yupp." I smiled as I did up the buttons.

"It stopped raining.. can we walk?" he asked cautiously.

"Um yeah sure." I shrugged. We were a few blocks from the house and the rain had finally stopped. I looked up at the sky as Adrian walked next to me. It was still cloudy and I could tell it was going to start raining again.

"What happened back there with Morgan?" Adrian asked after it had been quiet for a while.

"Nothing." I smiled down at him.

"You sucker punched him Clara..." He looked up at me confused.

"Well let's just say he said somethings he shouldn't have and people should know when to stop drinking." I smiled as I tasselled his hair and put my arm on his back as we kept walking.

My feet had just started to hurt and my hand was throbbing. Derek had a hard stomach and punching it was not the best idea. "Are you worried about Sam and Dean?" he asked out of the blue and I looked down quickly.

"What?" I asked a bit taken back by the questioned. Adrian hadn't mention Sam or Dean in a while.

"You've been talking in your sleep." Adrian shrugged as he kicked a rock into a puddle. "You call out for them, tell them to run... stuff like that. So you're worried about them?" He asked.

"Oh I'm always worried about them kiddo." I laughed and he smiled.

"Do you think they stopped it?" He asked with a deeper sigh. I looked down with a questioned look. "The apocalypse? Lucifer and all that..." He shrugged.

"How do you even know about that?" I asked as we turned the corner.

"The books..." Adrian shook his head.

"that's not in the books Adrian." I said as we came up to the house. He shrugged and I stopped. "How do you know about Lucifer?" I asked.

"It may not be in the published books but it is in the online books." Adrian huffed. "So do you think they can stop the end of the world?" Adrian asked.

I took a deep breath and looked down at him. "I think Sam and Dean can do anything, so I am sure everything will be fine." I smiled and Adrian shook his head.

"You know that fake smile and bullshit answer doesn't work on me." Adrian said.

"Hey watch you mouth." I scolded him. "And it's not bullshit."

"Oh yes it is." Adria raised his voice. "In the books you never went two months without talking to Sam or Dean and now it's been almost a year and nothing." He shook his head.

"Not everything in those books is true." I sighed.

"Yes it is." Adrian said. "Clara you are like the only person I have ever trusted, and lately you have been lying to me and your friends." He shook his head. "We both know what it's like to lose family and I get that your upset but lying about it, won't make it hurt less." Adrian said looking up at me and I couldn't help but smile at him.

"You're right." I smiled. "I am worried about them and I have a bad feeling and all signs point to the end of the world but that's one thing you and everyone else simply don't understand." I smiled placing a hand on Adrian's shoulder. "The amount of faith I have in those two will always beat the evidence." I smiled.

"What happens when faith isn't enough?" Adrian sighed as he looked down.

I smiled at Adrian and quickly pulled him in for a hug. He held on tightly as he sighed. "You are 15, you shouldn't be so concerned." I laughed. "Somethings are just out of our control." I sighed and he looked up as he pulled away. "So do me a favour and worry about more important things, not Sam and Dean." I shook my head.

"Alright." he sighed.

"Now why don't we go inside, it's been one hell of a night." I laughed and he smiled.

"Hey, you think I'll ever get to meet them?" Adrian asked as I opened the door and he ran in.

"Maybe?" I shrugged throwing my keys on the table. As I shook my jacket off my phone started to ring. I looked down at the ID and my heart started to beat quickly. "Hey Adrian why don't you go shower and get ready for bed." I said as he ran into the kitchen. "I'll just be outside."

"Okay!" Adrian said as he took off up the stairs. Once the door closed I answered the phone.

"Bobby?" I questioned and just the silence on the other end made my heart stop.
