"Open the damn door Mikaelson!" Katherine yelled, thumping her fist against the white door in front of her repeatedly.
"Stupid, annoying. 'No, you get it! If you want to get some from me you better move.'" Klaus grumbled, imitating Caroline's words from a few seconds ago. He swung the door open and a flurry of heads barged in.
"What the hell is everyone doing in here?" Caroline gasped as she saw all of the two bands members standing in the room. Almost instantly everyone was talking over one another, she managed to catch snippets of what people were saying.
"The public know I'm pregnant!"
"Tatia is out for blood! Your blood!"
"Damon and I got matching tattoos!"
"I slept with Jeremy Gilbert, bassist for Tyler and Bonnie last night!"
Caroline let out a loud whistle bringing everyone to a halt, Klaus stood there with eyes wide in disbelief.
"Okay, Katherine, Elijah. It was bound to come out sooner or later, and as for worrying about it. Don't. Kitty Kat, in case you forgot your husband is the best press officer slash publicist so he can handle this in the best way possible." She then turned to Stefan who was standing there looking frazzled.
"Stef, how does she know?"
"You two" Lexi said as she walked in, gesturing to Klaus and Caroline, "were on stage when you lip locked last night. It's all over social media."
"Okay, well we can handle her, she's no big deal." Caroline shrugged, turning to Klaus for confirmation. He nodded the stood behind her winding an arm around her waist.
"Beks! That's amazing, what is it of?" Rebekah showed her wrist and on it was a small bird; Damon swung his arm around her and showed his wrist too, which had the same bird.
"Song birds… Get it?" Damon smiled, proud of his pun.
"That was terrible." Kat exclaimed, pulling his wrist towards her before throwing it back.
"Now, Kol. Do you want to repeat what you said to me because I'm still trying to process if I heard you right or not." Kol looked at the ground, completely red.
"I slept with Jeremy Gilbert last night. And it got out into the media and normally I would blame it on a drunken haze but neither of us were drinking that much." Kol said softly. Then looked up with hesitance.
"I think I might be gay." He immediately looked away, ashamed. Caroline moved out of Klaus' grip and pulled Kol into a tight embrace.
"Kol, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. We still love you, you're still Kol." Rebekah said, moving towards her brother who collapsed into her embrace. They all talked to Kol giving him words of warmth and acceptance.
"I think we can all agree Kol is most attracted to me right now." Damon boasted as he threw an arm over Kol's shoulder proudly.
"Please Damon. It's me. Gay guys love me." Stefan scoffed, knocking Damon's arm away and replacing it with his own. After this they all sit and turn the TV on only to be blasted by news on every channel of either couples problems.
"That's it." Katherine stood, fuming.
"What?" Elijah looked worried.
"We are going out and getting away from this. This is ridiculous." She exclaimed then looked at Caroline dead in the eye. "Morellis."
"Fuck Yes!" Caroline cheered before scrambling over Klaus to change.
They were on their way to Morellis; each of them in separate cars that they had rented in private so no one knew it was them. Rebekah sat in the passenger seat next to Damon who was currently tapping a beat on the steering wheel whilst whistling.
"Damon, what are we?" Rebekah found her self asking before she could stop herself. Damon's whistling stopped and he turned to see a flushed Rebekah.
"Human?" He teased, shifting a bit, as he wasn't expecting that question. Truth be told his feelings for her were growing day by day, it started when he broke his hand and she was fussing over him. He had never had anyone care that much to be angry and scared and sorry at the same time.
"You know what I meant." Rebekah said softly looking down at her hands, she was feeling particularly vulnerable because she hadn't been with anyone since Alex and that hadn't worked out well after he didn't return her 'I love you'.
"I'm not sure Sexy Beks. We're together for sure, but boyfriend and girlfriend seems a bit juvenile and as you know I am a man." Damon said, lightening it up at the end.
"I don't understand. I'm blonde but not dumb so if I don't get that you are going to have to elaborate." Rebekah huffed.
"We're a couple." Damon nodded in confirmation before looking over to her, "you are my other half and I am yours."
"Good." Rebekah smiled, kissing him lightly on the cheek as he was driving.
"So now that we've covered that, what do you think about this whole Caroline and Klaus thing?" Damon smirked, remembering the outcry that the two had caused.
"It won't last." Rebekah said calmly.
"What?" He asked shocked, looking over at her quickly.
"As much as I would love for Caroline to be a sister-in-law, it won't happen. Klaus and Caroline are too stubborn and too alike. They will come to blows eventually. Caroline is going to be getting a lot of hate from his fans soon; no teenage girl wants their celebrity crush in a relationship. It doesn't help that his are psychotic, and she won't be able to deal with it." Rebekah explained.
"But Tatia did." Damon pointed out.
"Tatia is too thick skinned and she just brushes it off. Caroline cares too much about what people think, she'll cave and when she does." Rebekah let out a sigh, "God, we are going to need to be there to help pick up the pieces."
"You think it'll be that bad?" Damon asked, but when Rebekah stayed silent he took that as his confirmation. He reached across the console and took her hand into his and placed a kiss on it before holding her hand in his lap. They parked in the parking lot of the place they were going to and Damon turned in his seat and looked Rebekah directly in the eyes.
"We'll get through this together no matter what. I promise." Rebekah saw the honesty and threw herself at him, hugging him close before pressing a kiss on his neck.
"Damon, I…" She hesitated, did she say it or not. Would he respond or not.
"I know Beks, me too." Damon knew what she was about to say but instead of saying it and potentially scaring each other away from the relationship he just agreed. They would say it when the time came. They both walked into the bistro like restaurant and were waved over by Katherine who was in a booth with the others.
"What is this place?" Rebekah asked as she slid into the booth.
"This Rebekah dear, is where our lovely Caroline started out." Lexi said smiling, looking at Caroline whose eyes were gleaming in reminiscence.
"I thought she was a blues singer?" Stefan asked curiously.
"She was, a very well known one in these parts but otherwise she preformed any other genre here." Katherine explained.
"My very own escape." Caroline smiled at them, and then she got up as the person finished singing, "Sam!" The man sitting at the keyboard stood up and crossed over, bringing her into a hug.
"My, my, my, are my eyes deceiving me? The Caroline Forbes is back here?" Sam teased Caroline who chuckled.
"We needed an escape." She explained, he nodded and walked her to stage.
"Crowd favourite time." He smiled, before crossing over to the keyboard.

The back up singers she used to work with came up on stage and sang with her. Katherine, Lexi and Rebekah made their way up to sing with her.

The guys watched entranced by their partners singing on stage, all with the same smile. Kol was watching them when he got a text from Jeremy asking him to talk later. He replied quickly and by the time he looked up they had finished.
They sat back down and watched as others performed, everyone eventually forgetting about their problems outside of the club. They spent a few hours there blowing the time away. They all just sort of wished what happened after never happened at all…
