Fuwashi skimmed through the pages. When she found what she was looking for,she carefully read it. She looked back and forth between the book and the duo. Finally,he fixed her gaze on the two.
"Are you friends?" she asked.
"Yeah,we're basketball partners? What's about it?" Kagami replied.
"That means…you liked each other,right?" She asked warily.
"Wha-What are you...LIKE?!" Kagami stuttered.
"Yes,as a friend,of course I like him" Kuroko answered as-a-matter-of-fact-ly.
"Well,in that case,this shouldn't be a difficult task for you" she sighed in relief.
Akashi narrowed his eyes at the conversation. Aomine looked like he didn't care as he put his hands behind his head,but he actually paying more attention than ever. Midorima just pushed up his glasses and showed no emotion. Murasakibara had stopped munching on his snack to listen.
"Ok,so here is what you have to do" Fuwashi continued "You two will have to kiss each other"
"WHATTTTTT?!" Everyone,of course not Akashi and Kuroko,screamed. Kuroko just let out an"Eh?" and Akashi just widen his eyes.
"Like hell I'll let something like that happen!" Aomine shouted.
"That's unacceptable!" Kise yelled.
Midorima's glasses cracked and Murasakibara crushed the snack in his hand.
"What a ridiculous procedure. I didn't expect you to be such an incapable witch" Akashi said like he wasn't affected by her words,but ayone could see he was also annoyed.
"I'm sorry,allow me to explain. This two must be physically connect if they want to change back. Once they are connected,all they have to do is think that they want to return to their body,and then miracle happen" Fuwashi finished with a grin.
"Can't you find another way?" Midorima asked. If Takao had been there,he definitely would have said something like 'Heh,I thought you don't care,Shin-chan' with a sly smirk. Sadly,he wasn't there.
"Well,of course,there are many way two people can be connected. Uhm,but I don't think you should do something like that at such age. You guys are still high school students,right?"
It took they less than a minute to get what she meant. Everyone blushed furiously,especially Momoi and Riko. But why do they look kind of excited?
Akashi coughed a few time before speaking "I believe what Shintarou meant is do you have any other way to change them back"
"Oh,so that what you meant! Ah,of course there are other ways. There are people who have problems with kissing,so a witch had found another way to fix this. But that one is really troublesome,with magic circle and all"
"Let's try that!" Kise excitedly suggested.
"I agree,that's definitely better" Midorima,for the first time in his life,were on Kise's side.
"Um…" Fuwashi looked at the duo who were actually under a spell.
"I also prefer this way" Kuroko said.
"Yeah,this one is better" Kagami agreed.
"In that case,follow me to the backyard! We have a lot of work to do" Fuwashi told them.
When they were at her backyard,she asked them to find a frog,a lizard,a four-leaf clover,and told Koganei and Mitobe to go back to the store and get her bay leaves,two apples,rosemary,6 candles,a short rope,a bottle of apple vinegar,garlics,a ladle and a bowl. She told Furihata,Kawahara and Fukuda to go into the warehouse and took a tripod,some wood and a big pot out. While everyone was doing what she asked,Fuwashi took a stick and start drawing something on the ground.
"There it is,Kagami,ah no,Kuroko,catch it!" Izuki yelled when he saw the frog. It had been five minutes since they found the frog and the Seirin team's members still couldn't catch it. And it seemed Midorima,Kise and Aomine were also having a hard time climbing tree and crawling on the ground looking for a lizard. On the other hand,Momoi and Riko looked like they were having fun looking for a four-leaf clover. Akashi just stood there and monitored everyone.
"Mitobe~! I found the rosemary,did you find garlics?" Koganei asked when he saw Mitobe.
Mitobe nodded at him. Koganei walked to him. Mitobe put the garlic into the basket Koganei was carrying.
"Let's see…We only have to find apples and a laddle. What's a laddle anyway?".
Mitobe did some hand signals to answer Koganei's question.
Koganei didn't have any troubles understanding the, "Oh,that thing you use to cook curry! I think I saw them over there. Let's go". And they resumed doing their task.
"Ok! Good work,everyone!" Fuwashi,who was done with her drawing,looked at Hyuuga who was holding a frog,Momoi who was holding a four-leaf clover and trying to stay away as far as possible from Hyuuga and Midorima who looked quite proud when holding a lizard up. She moved her gaze to the Serin's second year trio who panting next to the pot they had brought out. The pot was made of copper so it was heavy.
"But those two are a little slow,aren't they?" Fuwashi sighed.
"We're here!" Koganei ran to them with Mitobe,both of them were holding a bag. "Sorry we're late. It took us a lot of time to find apples" Koganei handed his bag to Fuwashi and so did Mitobe. Fuwashi looked into the bag and nodded approvingly. She turned to Fukuda,Furihata and Fukuda.
"Can you bring the pot to the tap over there and fill it with water?"
"Hai~" They said in unision with the same tiring tone and carried the pot to the tap.
Fuwashi placed the wood on the ground and mumbled something and the wood started burning. She placed the tripot over the fire and told Furihata and Kawahara to placed the pot on top.
"Wait a little bit,it'll boil soon" She turn to the group and smiled. When the water boil,she put in rosemary,4 gloves of garlic,four-leaf clover,stir it up and mumbled something. Everyone observed her in silent. Then,she took the vinegar bottle and drop in nine drops of the apple vinegar. She took the lizard and pull out it tail and drop it in the pot. Everyone grimaced. Poor little lizard,that must be hurt. After that,she tear the bay leaves into fourteen pieces and throw them into the pot. Again,she stirred it and mumbled something. She took the nife and the frog. Ok,now everyone was freaking out,worried for the poor creature's life. Luckily,Fuwashi just cut the frog on it's leg and let let 3 drops of blood drop into the pot.
"That should do it" she took out the laddle.
"Uh,what about the apples?" Koganei asked. After all,he and Mitobe had put a lot of effort in finding those apples.
"Oh,yeah,I almost forgot. Thanks for reminding me,cat boy"
"Why does everyone call me 'cat boy'?" Koganei cried.
Fuwashi took an apple and bit it.
Koganei's jaw dropped to the floor "That's what you use apples for?!".
"Can't work with an emty somach" she smiled "but I only eat one,the other one is for you two" she eyed the light-shadow duo. She used the knife to cut the apple in half and handed them to Kuroko and Kagami. They look at their half,hesitant to eat it.
"What's wrong? Put it in your mouth and chew" She told the two.
"You…cut the apple with the same knife you used to cut the frog" Kuroko stated.
"You don't have to swallow it,just chew it and spit it into the pot. I need your saliva"
Only chewing it is still disgusting Everyone sympathised with the two.
Kagami and Kuroko looked at each other and at the same time,took a bite. They walk to the pot and spit it out.
"Take another bite" Fuwashi ordered. The two had no choice but to follow. Fuwashi stirred the potion and read the spell out loud "Oh great sun and holy moon,please lend me your power to reverse the spell,break the chain that tie the two poor soul". A white smoke pop out right after she read the spell,white smoke pop out from the pot and formed an apple shape. She put out the fire with magic and moved the pot to the ground,also with magic. If she can do that,why did she make us carry that super heavy pot? Kawahara,Fukuda and Furihata thought,sweatdropped. She lighted the candles and put five of them around the circle she had drawn. She put one in the middle of the circle. She walked back to the pot and beckon Kagami and Kuroko to come to her. She dipped her finger into the pot.
"Good thing this potion cool down quickly,you guys won't get burn" she poured the potion into the bowl.
"That…We don't have to drink that,right?" Kagami asked warily.
"Oh,silly,how could someone drink this?" she turned Kagami with the bowl full of potion on her hand.
"Then what-" he didn't get to finish his sentence as Fuwashi splashed the potion on his head. She then turned back to the pot and filled the bowl with that potion again.
"It…doesn't smell to nice" Kuroko,who was standing beside Kagami,commented.
"Well,that's disgusting" Kise said and everyone nodded.
"I kind of feel sorry for them" Hyuuga said and they all nodded again.
"Now,Kuroko-kun,right? Lower your head,please". Kuroko reluctantly knelt down and let Fuwashi pour the potion on his head. She gave Kuroko the rope and told them to stand in the middle of the circle. She told Kagami to hold one tip of the rope and Kuroko to hold the other tip. She asked everyone to back away from the circle.
"Now,held the rope above the candle and think that you want to change back". Kagami and Kuroko did as told. Fuwashi put her hand together and mumbled something. The light from the candles,both around and inside the circle,suddenly burst into big fire. The fire from the candle between Kuroko and Kagami was burning the rope. Everyone watch the scene in silent and awe. When the rope was into two,the fire become even bigger,blocking everyon's view. "It's happening" Fuwashi yelled. It took a while for the fire to turn back into normal canle lights and they could see the duo again.
"Did it work?" Kise finally broke the silent. Everyone held their breath,waiting for the answer. Kuroko and Kagami looked at their hands and their bodies.
"It didn't" Kuroko said,disappointment in his voice.
"Damn it!" Kagami cursed.
"I'm sorry,look like I'm not powerful enough to break the spell" Fuwashi sadly apologized.
"Should we try again?" Riko asked.
"It's no use. No matter how much we try,it won't work if it's me who do it. I really want to see what potion you have taken,such powerful spell" Fuwashi sighed.
"I don't know if this is a potion or not,but you can see it if you want" Kiyoshi said,walking to Fuwashi. He handed her a plastic box. She opened it,her eyes widen. "This-This is…" She seemed astonished "…what? I've never seen something like this".
"I'm not quite sure,actually" Kiyoshi grinned sheepishly and scratched his nape.
"Wait a minute!" Fuwashi carefully examined the thing in the box with her eyes "Who made this? This is definitely the potion that switch the boys!".
"Well…" Kiyoshi didn't look like he wanted to answer the question. He eyed the group.
"It was us who made it" Riko suddenly said. She walked to Fuwashi and Kiyoshi with Momoi.
"Eh,Riko?"
"It's our cake,isn't it,Teppei?"
"Uhm…that's…"
"You don't have to hide it from us,Kiyoshi-san" Momoi smiled sadly.
"You are the one who made this" Fuwashi asked,looking somewhat excited "Do you want to be a witch? You definitely have talent fot it!"
"Uhm,no thanks/I think I'll pass" Momoi and Riko both turned down the offer.
"Ehem" Midorima faked a cough "Fuwashi-san,I think we should get back to switching those two back".
"Oh,right. Sorry I got carried away. For now,we should get back into the house. I'll get you two towels"
"Can we take a shower?" Kuroko asked.
"I'm sorry dear,but I go to public bath,so you can't"
"So I just got splash something damn smelly and sticky on my head for nothing?" Kagami asked with disgust. Kuroko just nodded at him,not bother opening his mouth.
When they got in the house/shop,Kagami and Kuroko dried their head.
"You smell worse than me after practice" Aomine sniffed the duo and commented.
"Shut up,Aomine" Kagami growled.
"Yes,Aomine-kun,please be quite or I'll ignite pass you" Kuroko was not in a better mood than Kagami. Aomine smirked. Midorima suddenly appeared between Kuroko and Kagami.
"This is time for today lucky item,a bottle of vanilla perfume" He said and sprayed the perfume on Kuroko and Kagami.
"Heh,I think you just made it worse" Aomine snorted. Kagami and Kuroko didn't bother to make any comments
The group returned to that spooky room full of books. Fuwashi read the book again.
"Did you find anything" Akashi asked.
"Yes,I did. But I think this way is more bothersome than kissing"
"Will it work?"
"Yes,one hundred percent it'll work,because this procedure doesn't rely on me"
"Does it need physical contact?"
"No,not really"
"Let's hear it" Akashi said. Everyone was listening to the conversation very carefully.
"Ok" Fuwashi squinted her eyes,her index finger moved on the book She read the words out loud "To switch back to your body without using magic,two people who got switch must…"
Author's note: I know I updated like three days ago or something but it doesn't hurt anyone if I make a fast update right? Please don't get used to it,because it only happens when I'm on holiday. Should I end the story in the next chapter? I don't know…Review to tell me,please. (Actually,reviews won't make any change).
