A/N: Alright! The comeback chapter had another fight scene! Spider-Boy and 2099 Spider-Boy vs. Mysterio. And it's been revealed one of the legendary lost Infinity Stones is powering the Pillar, and that it's what's opening the portals and disrupting the space-time continuum. Now Spider-Boy has come up with a plan to contain the Infinity Stone, stop the invasion, and destroy Mysterio. Enjoy!
Spider-Girl and Scarlet-Spider were cornered fighting a group of Agragorians with weapons. The fight began wearing them out and backed up against a wall.
"There's gotta be at least fifty of them" Spider-Girl said out of breath.
"Two of us aren't gonna be able to take them alone" Scarlet-Spider replied, muscles limp and tired. A puff of black smoke appeared in between the alien troopers and the two spider powered heroes.
"Need some help?" a deep voice said. Scarlet-Spider and Spider-Girl saw that it was Noir Spider-Boy and he began using his webbing strands to bash the enemy soldier's heads together to crack their helmets and knock them out unconscious. He then picked up two alien plasma rifles and handed them to Scarlet-Spider and Spider-Girl.
"Thanks, now I can let my muscles rest" Scarlet-Spider said loading his weapon and started shooting at the Agragorian forces that were surrounding them. Soon only three remained when the weapons started firing. Now, the lasers stopped and no matter how hard Spider-Girl and Scarlet-Spider pulled the triggers, no laser beams came out the guns.
"Crap! Even alien technology as to be reloaded" Scarlet-Spider said as he now began using the gun as a makeshift baseball bat and hit one Agragorian in his 'Crown Jewels'. The alien whimpered a high pitched puppy-dog like screech and got onto his knees with his hands on his crotch.
"It's gotta hurt, huh?" Scarlet-Spider said before breaking the Agragorian's neck and killing it.
"I got this one!" Spider-Girl said using her webbing to make the Agragorian come closer to her and she broke her opponent's neck.
"Last one's mine, guys" Noir Spider-Boy said as he turned his attention to the one final enemy soldier.
"Woah buddy, you look like you need a gym membership because I don't have a single clue why Mysterio would hire skinny pieces of garbage like yourself" Noir Spider-Boy said taunting the alien. All that did was make it angrier and attack Noir Spider-Boy. The spider senses kicked in and Noir Spider-Boy jumped out of the way into the air.
"What's a soldier without his weapon?" asked Noir Spider-Boy and used his webbing to take the Agragorian soldier's weapon, an ax using laser energy as blades and used it to slice through the entire body of his enemy, the armor was even sliced in half along with the body.
"Ew, that's gross" Spider-Girl said.
"For someone who's saved the city thousands of times, you can't stand to see an alien get sliced in half?" Scarlet-Spider asked jokingly.
"Ha ha, super funny, Hayden" Spider-Girl said.
"Guys!" a voice called out. Spider-Girl, Noir Spider-Boy, and Scarlet-Spider looked up to see the original Spider-Boy with Iron-Spider, and 2099 Spider-Boy.
"Where were you when we needed help taking out these scumbags!?" Noir Spider-Boy shouted in outrage. Iron-Spider was supposed to be tagged alongside Noir Spider-Boy but ended up ditching him.
"Sorry, I meant to tell you that I don't play well with others" said Iron-Spider.
"Well, too bad. We were supposed to be partners, but instead I find you with the other two versions of you" Noir Spider-Boy said a bit on the angry side.
"Guys, calm down. If we're gonna take down Mysterio and his entire fleet, we're gonna have to work together on this" Spider-Boy said.
"He's right. Besides, that thing that's powering the device that's creating the portals is an Infinity Stone" 2099 Spider-Boy.
"Does anyone else have a clue what that it?" Spider-Girl asked. Scarlet-Spider and Noir Spider-Boy shook their heads.
"Powerful objects that can power incredible weapons of mass destruction in the hands of being who possess great power" 2099 Spider-Boy answered.
"Okay. I don't understand something. Why did we need to know that?" Scarlet-Spider asked.
"It means in the wrong hands if that thing were to stop powering the Pillar, we'd be stuck here forever, Mysterio would win and that stone could fall into someone's hands and use it for another evil purpose" Iron-Spider replied.
"Well then we gotta make sure that doesn't happen" Noir Spider-Boy replied clenching his fists together.
"So, what's the plan now?" asked Spider-Girl.
"Mysterio and his fleet have to be taken out first" the original Spider-Boy said.
"But how? These things keep coming in bigger pairs every time we destroy them" Scarlet-Spider asked.
"I've noticed that the helmets these alien soldiers wear have this red gem glowing in the center of it" 2099 Spider-Boy said.
"Yeah, they were glowing too" Spider-Girl pointed out.
"And while fighting Mysterio close to the Pillar, there was a large glowing red light coming from the inside of the mother-ship that was hovering above it" the original Spider-Boy said.
"Here's my theory. If we destroy whatever is the source of that glow maybe we can fry the soldiers' brains out and then Mysterio will have no backup or re-enforcements to come after us" 2099 Spider-Boy said.
"If it means no more fighting aliens until we're too sore to fight criminals some more in the morning the next day, I'm down with it" Iron-Spider said stretching his arms out.
"I'm in" Spider-Girl said.
"Mysterio is going down, no matter what" Noir Spider-Boy said.
"As long as we keep the world safe, I'm willing to fight along-side you guys" said Scarlet-Spider.
"You guys are truly worthy of your titles as Spider-Boys and Spider-Girl. I would be honored to destroy this enemy with you" 2099 Spider-Boy said. Scarlet-Spider then looked to the original Spider-Boy.
"Do I really need to answer?" he said jokingly. The others nodded though, thinking he was serious.
"Well, you guys may be alternative versions of me from other worlds... but you're great heroes. Earth deserves you as it's protectors. Let's take out some aliens" Spider-Boy said.
"YEAH!" they shouted at once!
"And then we can get pizza afterwards!" shouted Iron-Spider. Everyone then looked to Iron-Spider with a 'Really Bro?' look underneath their masks. Iron-Spider shrugged his shoulders and tilted his head in defense.
"What? I'm hungry and I like pizza" Iron-Spider said.
"Okay. New plan, we take out the aliens, take out Mysterio, then we get pizza and destroy the pillar to contain the Infinity Stone. All in favor, say 'I'" the original Spider-Boy said. Everyone raised their hands and said 'I'.
"The I's seem to have it. Let's go ladies and gentlemen" said Spider-Boy.
"Wait!" a female voice called out. Everyone looked up to see Penny wearing Hayden's New Goblin armor and on his glider. Once the glider was hovering a few inches above the ground, she pressed a button that made the mask uncover her face.
"If you're going in to take out some baddies, I wanna be a part of it" Penny said.
"Of course, the more heroes on our team the merrier" said 2099 Spider-Boy.
"Count me in too!" another female voice exclaimed. Everyone then looked behind them to see Elsa now wielding gauntlets made from ice and icicles on the knuckles.
"Mysterio nearly destroyed our city, and nearly killed my nephew. Anyone who messes with my family is literally BEGGING to get their butt kicked. I'm going with you guys" Elsa said bashing her icy knuckles together.
"Alright, now we've got even more firepower. Let's finish what this alien creep started" the original Spider-Boy said as he now began walking ahead of the others and everyone else followed him to where the Pillar was in Central Park.
A/N: I know, only six chapter's in and the fight's beginning. That's because this battle will be divided into three parts. And then the final chapter will be posted. It's gonna be the longest Spider-Boy battle yet in the series, and the most exciting and heart pounding, I promise you.
