A/N: Here comes part 1 of the fight between all the Spider-Boys, Penny, and Elsa against Mysterio and his armies. Yeah, and the last chapter had a special treat revealing that Elsa and Penny would join in on the battle too, but it's a good thing that Penny's not gonna be just a minor character in the series anymore, so that's good right? Anyways, onto the chapter, enjoy!
(Normal POV)
On board the mother-ship, Mysterio was bowing to his master sitting on a throne, his hooded robe still covering all his body.
"They know about the Infinity Stone!?" he shouted.
"I'm afraid so, master. They know an Infinity Stone is what powers the Pillar and if we fail to stop them from taking it, the portals will close and the invasion fails" Mysterio said in regret to inform his master of this news.
"This invasion has had one too many failures because of you" the master said with a snarl emerging in his throat.
"One final chance is all I need to prove to you I am capable of getting this invasion back on track" Mysterio begged, still not aware of the crack in his helmet.
"Very well, but I won't be here to be begged for forgiveness the next time you fail, Mysterio" master said walking over to a blue circular glowing platform and looked to his apprentice.
"As for now, I'm leaving you. In case you fail again I have a little bit of... insurance to attend to" master said with a smirk while one Agragorian walked up to the master and handed him a canister filled with a goo that was red with black veins surrounding it.
"Insurance, what do you mean?" Mysterio asked.
"If you fail this final time, you shall see. If they don't rip you mechanical limb from mechanical limb of course" the master said with a small sinister chuckle before raising his hand and using telekinesis to press a red button on the holographic panel on his throne and disappeared in a bright blue flash of light.
"This will not be my last failure. Spider-Boy has been getting in the way of this invasion for the last time!" Mysterio said aiming his now glowing orange hands at his master's throne and destroying it with energy beams.
"And I will show, I don't need a master or his criticisms to take down Earth and it's so called 'Defenders' they look up to so much!" Mysterio shouted looking at the now sizzling crater where the throne once was.
"Assemble the entire armada! Anything with a spider on it's chest and anyone associating themselves with them must die" Mysterio ordered one of the nearby guards.
"Are you sure?" asked the Agragorian soldier.
"Yes! Kill them all and take no prisoners!" Mysterio ordered. The guard didn't even flinch due to the intensity
Mysterio had in his voice and just bowed down and ran out of the throne room.
Back on the ground, all the Spider-Boys, Penny, and Elsa gathered in front of the front gates of Central Park where the Pillar was and the portals that surrounded the center where the infinity stone was. The original Spider-Boy was in the very front holding the mask in his left hand
"Just be prepared. We don't know Mysterio is nearby" said Sherman as he now looked up at the Pillar and saw a figure standing on top of it.
"No doubt that's him" Sherman said putting his mask back on. Mysterio then had blue mist surrounding his feet and that mist gave him the power to levitate off the top of the pillar and a few feet above in front of there his enemies stood.
"I should have known it would have come to this. My master has lost all hope in me leading this invasion and has abandoned me because of it. You're the ones to blame for this" Mysterio said with such scorn.
"You brought this upon yourself. If your so-called 'Master' has just accepted defeat the minute he knew he failed the last invasion, why would he even bother trying again now!?" Scarlet-Spider shouted up at Mysterio, who only chuckled at this comment.
"Yeah, you've only faced us twice! Every other battle you just sent your alien underlings to fight us! Those things have got to be the weakest thing I've ever seen closest to an army!" Spider-Girl shouted next.
"Is that the best you can Shocking do!?" 2099 Spider-Boy exclaimed. Mysterio chuckled again and raised one hand.
"No, don't be such a fool. THIS is the best I can do" Mysterio answered. After raising his hand, several Agragorian soldiers came out from beneath the water and above in the trees, surrounding them like a colony of ants.
"Me and my big mouth" 2099 Spider-Boy said regretting that last comment he made.
"Don't look at us, you were the one that opened it" Elsa said taking up a fighting stance with her ice gauntlets with icicle knuckles.
"Does anyone else have a substitute idea to take these things out?" Penny asked. Sherman then looked at the Pillar and came up with another plan.
"Cover us, Penny and I are going up the pillar and into the mother-ship" Sherman said.
"Good enough" Noir Spider-Boy said.
"Elsa, can you lead the ground squad?" the original Spider-Boy asked.
"Don't have to ask me twice" Elsa said, the palms of her gauntlets glowing blue with her ice powers.
"Charge!" Spider-Boy said running head-first into the park with Penny following him on the glider.
(Start playing 'Scorponok' by Steve Jablonski as you read through this part of the battle)
"Alright boys, we're gonna take out the trash Mysterio left out on our streets" Elsa said running towards the park and began punching alien soldiers and killing them with her sharp knuckles, she even started freezing a few of them and having the nearest Spider-Boy that was closest to them smash their bodies with a single punch or kick.
"Cover my six! I'm going in!" Spider-Boy said to Penny as he let his Spider-senses guide his actions to dodge or kill any passerby aliens that were closing in to attack him.
"I know Halloween isn't for another two months, but have a pumpkin!" Penny said taking out a grenade that looked like a pumpkin that came out a hidden slot that came out of the glider and threw them at any aliens that tried to attack Sherman.
"I'm almost there!" Spider-Boy said before shooting two strands of webbing at two lampposts and slingshot himself onto the Pillar and started climbing it. The metal the pillar was made of was so shiny Spider-Boy's reflection followed him as he climbed up.
"Alright now to get on b..." Spider-Boy was about to say but a huge wave of red lightning struck him and forced him off the pillar. Penny caught him in her arms and used the glider to place him back on the top.
"Thought you could use a lift" Penny said with a hint of humor in her voice before letting him down onto the top of the Pillar. Mysterio was on top of the Pillar as well, red electrical energy surged throughout his hands.
"You really think I was gonna let you stop all this so easily?" Mysterio asked.
"Surprises happen" Spider-Boy said taking a fighting stance.
"Not this time. Nothing up my sleeves, but I can still take out out with no surprises you weak little Spider" Mysterio mocked.
"Hey!" a female voice came, causing Mysterio to look up.
"That's my boyfriend you're talking about!" Penny screamed and made the side of her glider hit the side of Mysterio's helmet where the crack was and it made it bigger.
"Argh!" Mysterio shouted before trying to shoot red lightning at her, but she evaded it easily.
"You were saying?" Spider-Boy said before kicking Mysterio in his check and causing the black spandex in it to tear off a large chunk and reveal several mechanical workings inside his abdominal area.
"This should be even more interesting than I thought it'd be" Spider-Boy said before sweeping Mysterio off his feet with his legs and started punching his body rapidly, causing a robotic arm to be exposed, as well as a leg, the upper half of his chest and the crack to grow bigger.
"See you next fall, David Copperfield failure!" Spider-Boy said before kicking Mysterio right in his chest and fall off the pillar and crash onto the bridge the Pillar nearly destroyed with the impact upon it's plantation, more of the suit was torn, exposing Mysterio's mechanical workings, and the crack became bigger, so bigger some little chunks of glass were fell out after becoming loose.
"No! He can't!" Mysterio said getting up, but falling back down noticing his left ankle was bent like a dented pipe and wires and crossbeams were exposed.
"My body may nearly be damaged! But I still have my magics!" Mysterio said now using his energy beam magic to try and levitate himself back onto the top of the Pillar but an ice blast forced Mysterio into a large fields of bushes.
"Have an ICE day" Elsa said, revealing she was the one shooting the ice beam. Mysterio got up and looked down at the frost that was clung to his chest, and ripped it off only to reveal a glowing color changing mechanism inside him, similar to a car engine, only less noisy inside.
"Neither Earth, or any other planet will be safe once I'm done with all these insects!" Mysterio screamed before looking up and noticing that Penny was carrying Spider-Boy into the mother-ship through the fighter craft hanger at the very middle bottom of the ship.
"Alright, let's take out that control mechanism!" shouted Spider-Boy before they were now inside the ship and saw several aliens getting their fighters ready and they all looked at him.
"Tag team?" Penny asked.
"I'd be honored" Spider-Boy said before they both charged at them.
