Disclaimer: i own no pokemon, and never will so... yeah i can't think of a good joke, so, uh, just read the damn story already!

"Alright People! We're almost done with the first round of the tournament. So get ready for the final match!" Screamed Mirror B, and not waiting for the crowd to stop cheering, he continued, "first off, we have a word from the champions!"

The spotlights switched from Mirror B. to a high booth with extremely fancy furnishings that which the six champions are standing, ready to speak. "Hello, isn't this a great tournament!" Cynthia shouted, causing her fans, and some perverts, to respond with an uproar of cheers, Alder then stepped up.

"Yes get pumped up! We're at a once in a life time moment, so be as loud as you want, be free to speak what you want! Isn't that one of the reasons of becoming a trainer, to be free!" The red and orange haired man shouted, riling the crowd up more. The other champions remained silent. Mirror B., seeing the perfect time to cut in, started declaring the next competitors.

"And that was the champions! Now for the final match for round one, first he is the adopted son of the Unova dragon gym leader, Drayden, also a known trainer in the league, coming 10th in the Johto league and 8th in the Kanto, he is a known contender for the Unova league, and holds the record for some of the quickest battles in the gyms he visited, he is Onyx Dragor!" walking to his corner Onyx stands 5'10" with a strong lean body; he has onyx black eyes, and white messy hair which covers his left eye while sweeping towards his right. He wears a black hoodie mostly with the hood and sleeves up, long torn black jeans which cover his always bare feet under his hoodie is a plane white shirt, and on his right wrist he has two wristbands one red one black, he has his poke balls on a low hanging belt. The white haired trainer brought his hand up to his mouth; the crowd thinking he would say something 'cool' leaned forward, but the young man yawned very loudly, the crowd sweatdropped.

"Well… uh, I guess it's on too the next competitor…" the former Cipher admin muttered, shaking his head, making his afro move like it was alive, and to regain his composure, "Here is the last challenger, he's the leader of Pastoria gym, pro wrestler, and one of the best water type trainers out there, Crasher Wake!"

Out came a man wearing a mask, no shirt, and wearing blue and orange wrestling pants. He has no hair, except for his beard. He reached the trainers corner and threw his arm in the air, "LET'S DO THIS HAHAHA!"

Once again the crowd went unimpressed at the laughing water type trainer.

"Let's start. This is a three on three battle, no substitutions. Understood?" The ref asked, and the two combatants nodded, "Good. Now pick your first Pokémon!"

"…" Onyx wordlessly threw the Pokéball into the air releasing a six-legged insect Pokémon with a grey body and black legs, bearing much resemblance to an ant. Its large pincers are jagged. Its red eyes are covered with the same steel-like carapace as the rest of its body. It has two antennae, each with a big gray ball on the end. It has a similarly shaped abdomen to some species of spider. This is the Pokémon Durant, the iron ant Pokémon.

"Then let's do this, GO Ludicolo!" Out of the Pokéball came a bipedal Pokémon that appears to be a mixture of a pineapple and a duck. There is a green sombrero-like growth on its head that is similar to lily pad. Growing out of the top of its head is short brown stem with a yellow spiky upper portion. It has black eyes surrounded by a patch of green and an orange bill. Its body is yellow with several, zigzagging brown stripes. It has large, green hand with two black lines on its palms. It has thick green legs with a black circle on the underside of its feet.

"Battle begin!" the Ref declared, bringing the flags down as he said it.

"Pinch, stay put." The adopted son of Drayden commanded Pinch, the Durant, and the Pokémon did as told, not budging an inch. Wake laughed. "Ha-ha! I don't know what your planning but I know it will be fun! Ludicolo use Teeter Dance!" The Carefree Pokémon pulled out a pair of maracas and started randomly swaying from side to side, like he was drunk. Pinch couldn't follow the movements and soon became confused.

"Pinch!" Onyx shouted to his trusted Pokémon, but the iron ant's fuzzy mind couldn't hear his master's shouts. 'Shit. My plan didn't work. I need a new plan, but Pinch is confused and I can't do anything till he snaps out of it.' The Unova native thought, getting irritated at the random move the Sinnoh gym leader did. Then it popped 'that's it!'

"Pinch, Rest!" Onyx shouted loud enough to pierce through the incoherent mind of Pinch. Closing his eyes the Iron Ant Pokémon fell into a deep slumber, sleeping off the confusion as well.

Ludicolo was looking at his master for instructions, but Crasher was stumped on what to do. He really wanted an interesting match, but this trainer is doing nothing that makes his blood boil with excitement! It's boring! So the water type gym leader decided to end this and see if the next Pokémon brought some fun to the battlefield. "Ludicolo, end this with Fire Punch." Crasher Wake said disapprovingly, the Carefree Pokémon smiled and charged the sleeping Iron Ant Pokémon, fist ablaze.

Onyx grinned seeing his plan started to work as the Grass/Water type got closer to Pinch, and as Ludicolo loomed over the smaller creature, fist ready to strike, the Unova native called his move, "Now Sleep Talk, Pinch!"

The sleeping Pinch somehow heard and responded to the order and leaped toward Ludicolo with it's pincers glowing a light blue, indicating he is using X-Scissor, and hit the Water/Grass type square in the chest doing a considerable amount of damage, and Ludicolo's eyesight become fuzzy as his health dropped increasingly low.

"What a lucky shot by Pinch with that X-Scissor! What will Crasher Wake do now?" Mirror B. commented, causing the Sinnoh native to loudly laugh. Wake sent his Pokémon in with another fire punch only to be met with an Iron Head from the sleeping Iron Ant, fainting the Carefree Pokémon with ease. Both the crowd and Crasher Wake were surprised.

"Ludicolo is unable to battle, please send your next Pokémon out." The ref declared

"WOW, what a surprise from Onyx! Now what will Wake do next?" Mirror B. commented once again, making the pro wrestling gym leader snap out of his surprise and laugh heartily, "Hahahaha! I never expected that! Now let's have some more fun, Poliwrath!"

He threw his Pokéball, and out came a blue, bipedal Pokémon with muscular arms. It has bulbous eyes that protrude from the top of its head. Its belly is covered by a white and black swirl. There appear to be white gloves on its hands, and it has rounded, digit-less feet. The Water/Fighting type let out a stream of water as a show of power. The Ref looked from one side of the field to another, raised his flags, and threw them down, and like the flag was a time bomb, the two trainers exploded into action.

"Pinch/Poliwrath use Sleep Talk/Rain Dance!" they shouted simultaneously, and their partners responded immediately, but the Iron Ant Pokémon woke up when the order was given, meaning he did nothing, and the Tadpole Pokémon started banging on his belly and dancing, calling forth a pouring rain.

A now soaking Pinch looked to his master for an attack, ready to fight. Onyx nodded toward his Pokémon, but while Pinch wasn't looking Poliwrath leaped in front of him, with his muscles bulging from a Bulk Up move. The Water/Fighting type cocked his fist back, and then it started glowing, showing it was about to use a move.

"Dynamic Punch, then Circle Throw, and end it with Hydro Pump!" Crasher Wake shouted, and the Tadpole punched the Iron Ant, sending the Steel/Bug type flying, then the Water/Fighting type grabbed him in mid-air, flipped into the air with the smaller Pokémon in his clutches, and slammed him into the ground, but Crasher's Pokémon wasn't done, like he was Poseidon himself Poliwrath summoned a torrent of water, blasting the last amount of consciousness from Pinch out like a light.

'Well… I did not see that coming…' is what the Unova native thought to himself as he picked his next Pokémon and once again threw it without a word. A flash of light later reveled Onyx's second Pokémon a large dinosaur-like Pokémon. The couple of fangs in the upper and lower jaws, and the fingers and toes culminating in claws, contribute to the menacing appearance of this Pokémon.

However, this Pokémon's most prominent body feature is the green, armor-like hide that covers its body. Despite its tough appearance, this hide is flexible enough to allow movement. Many spikes protrude from the back of its head, neck, shoulders and the tip of the tail. The armor also presents a couple of holes at the knees and the back, and four holes at the chest. There are also two blue rhombus-shaped pieces of armor that cover the creature's belly and back. This is one (A/N: there are two) of the Armor Pokémon, Tyranitar. A sandstorm started ensued after the Pokémon's release.

The Ref nodded his approval and continued the match.

"Tyr use Thunder!" Onyx shortly growled out in Pokémon tongue, confusing the crowd greatly. The Armor Pokémon roared as clouds began to form in the sky

"Poliwrath use Protect!" Wake cried as he saw the storm clouds, and the Tadpole Pokémon barley got the light green barrier to form before a huge lighting bolt crashed into it, creating a cloud of smoke in the light sandstorm. When the smoke cleared it showed that the Water/Fighting type was unharmed, and still ready to battle.

"Now, Focus Blast!" The Tadpole Pokémon put his hands together as a light orange ball formed between the Water/Fighting type's fingers, and shot it at the Armor Pokémon full force.

"Tyr use Endure!" Onyx once again shouted in Poké-speak, but his call went unheard when Tyr saw the Focus Blast; but his brain didn't process what it was fast enough, and he went down with a single strike.

===- Trainer waiting room

Most of the trainers left for the hotel after their battles, whether good or bad results varied, but some stayed, mostly to see their remaining competition, but others just to watch the battles for fun.

"Um… anyone else seeing this guy get his ass kicked here?" Kai asked the remaining trainers. They just glared at the Orre native.

"I guess that's a no then?"

===- Arena

"Now please choose your last Pokémon red corner." The ref said, and Onyx smiled.

Grabbing an ultra ball from his clip he said aloud, "It's been fun, Crasher Wake, but I think playtime is over. Come out Rai!" he released his last companion into the air, and what came out made the arena gasp, out came a yellow, tiger-like Pokémon with black stripes and a white underside. It has a thin, light blue tail with sharp angles and a spark-shaped formation at the end. It's mane looks like dull purple rain clouds and allows it to shoot bolts of lighting. Most of its face consists of thick, white fur and shorter yellow fur around its red eyes. It's muzzle is a light blue "X" and it has a black faceplate with two bumps that covers its forehead, nose, and ears. It has two long fangs that make its appearance similar to the saber-toothed cat. Its large claws each converge to form a single point and never retract. Extra fur hangs off its body in front of its rear thighs. The Pokémon was also known as the Thunder Pokémon, Raikou.

"Oh snap! Shit just got real!" Kai exclaimed. The outbursts from the green haired trainer were annoying the other trainers greatly, and then his Garchomp, Gallant, popped out of his ball and swiftly knocked out, and dragged his trainer away, chuckling nervously as he did so.

"FINNALY HE'S GONE!" one of the trainers shouted as the Land Shark Pokémon left earshot, and all the other trainers cheered as well.

"Um… is this legal ref?" Mirror B. asked the ref, who was looking in the rulebook at the moment.

"Nothing says they can't have a legendary, actually they encourage it." He said bewildered. The ref then raised his flags and dropped them, and as the flags were down the battle tide changed.

"Thunderbolt." Said the black-eyed trainer, and Raikou let loose. Arching lightning comes off its body, hitting the slightly worn out Poliwrath, and fainting it in one go like he did to Tyr.

Crasher Wake didn't even have time to say anything. All he knew was things are getting fun, really fun. He grabbed his last Pokéball, which was a dive ball, and threw it into the fray. His last Pokémon, as it came out of its container, is a serpentine Chinese dragon-like Pokémon. It is mostly blue, with a yellow underbelly and yellow spots along its body. It has a three-pointed, dark blue crest on its head and four white fins down its back. Its mouth is very large and gaping, bearing four canine teeth. It has one barbell on each side of its face. Its name is Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokémon.

The ref pulled out a boxing bell from… somewhere, who knows; anyway he dinged the bell for the obvious one-sided fight. Gyarados tried intimidating the legendary Pokémon, and ended up being intimidated instead. Rai then raised his eyebrow at the Water/Flying type as if he was saying 'seriously?' to it.

"Gyarados use Earthquake!" the water gym leader commanded. As it heard it's master's command raised his tail to initiate the super effective move. But before he could the Unova native said calmly to the Thunder Pokémon, "Magnet Rise Rai."

Seconds before Earthquake started Rai created an electric field, enabling the Thunder Pokémon to levitate, avoiding Earthquake all together. Rai then followed up, on it's own command, and flew up and bit the Atrocious with a Thunder Fang.

"Shake it off Gyarados!"

"Hold on and use Thunder!"

The Thunder and Atrocious Pokémon did as they were ordered, Rai started creating thunderclouds, from the clouds on its back, big enough to use the move, and Gyarados was violently moving back and forth in order to shake off the tiger like Pokémon on its back. A full minuet of this struggle went by before Rai created a big, menacing, black storm cloud and unleashed a huge Thunder on the Water/Flying type, taking down the Pokémon, and making its second take down without damage.

"The winner is- huh? Where'd he go?" The ref asked himself, seeing no sight of Onyx anywhere after his win.

"Well it's okay! We all know who won anyway! Thank you for joining us today, the second round will begin in two days time, and there's a special surprise waiting for trainers tomorrow!" Mirror B. screamed as he danced with his Ludicolo at his side. The crowd left the instant the match was over, but Mirror B. danced for three more hours anyway.

Red and Wes were sitting with Cynthia in a soundproof dark room.

"So, was he one of them?" Red asked with his barely used vocal cords.

"Not that I could tell, he seemed to scared to be." Wes replied with his equally unused voice.

"Is there anyone we can send to the location?" Cynthia chirped in, before she asked, "Wes how good is that trainer that you gave the letter to?"

"To answer the first question no, we can't, not without tipping them off. And about Kai's skill…" he paused, as if thinking how skilled the boy was really, he then continued, "well… if he tries, which he usually never does, he is probably on par or even better then me…"

This got Red's attention, because even he had a hard time beating the Orre Champ, so he wondered how powerful this guy really was.

"Anyway… who wants a doughnut?" Wes asked, the reason they were there was to sneak doughnuts from Alder's stash of sweets, with the help of a certain electric mouse.

"I/Me!" the other two said simultaneously.

===- In the dessert somewhere

A group of leaders stood, with one spot missing, then the head spoke, "Hello my fellow member leaders I hope the plan is coming together?"

One leader stepped forward angrily. "Where's that Persian loving bastard at!"

"He's doing his part, as long as he does it that is." The head of the leaders spoke; they then gave their reports for the plan concocted by all of them.
