After arriving home and getting Katie cleaned up, Olivia headed to Elliot's office. She knocked softly on the door before opening it. Elliot was sitting in his office chair, his reading glasses on top of his head, while sleeping on his desk. She giggled and walked over to him. "Elliot?" She stroked his back gently before kissing his head. "El, honey, wake up. It's only three in the afternoon."
Elliot groaned and said something unintelligible before looking up at her. He smiled lightly. "Hey, how long have I been asleep?"
"Well, I called you a couple hours ago and now Katie is home from school. You do the math." Olivia chuckled before pecking his lips, grinning when his hand rested on her thigh. "We have a problem."
"With my hand?" Elliot asked with furrowed eyebrows.
Olivia rolled her eyes. "No, I like your hand." She sat on his desk and looked at him for a moment. "Kathy came by the school today to take Katie." Elliot's eyes widened. "Katie didn't see her. Her teacher informed me that Kathy tried to come onto school grounds, but the principal took care of it."
Elliot sighed. "Thank God! Katie never really knew Kathy and I don't want her around her." He ran a hand down his face. "I don't know what to do. I can't move Katie to a different school. All her friends are there and that's where the boys went."
"We just have to trust that the principal will help us out and keep Kathy away from Katie." Olivia shrugged before playing with his fingers. "So, I was thinking about our date."
Elliot smirked. "What about it?"
Olivia grinned. "Well, it is on the other side of town and it's going to be really late before we even consider coming home." Elliot nodded his head in agreement. "Why don't we make reservations somewhere and order some room service? We could make the date last long into the night, maybe into the morning if you're up for it."
Elliot smiled at her. "I'm ready for whatever you through at me, Ms. Benson."
"Well, Mr. Stabler, I hope you are. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve I haven't been able to use yet." Olivia smirked before leaving his office, grinning when she could hear him growl her name.
"Ms. Benson, va va va voom!" John grinned seeing Olivia come down in her dress. It was a long red dress that went to the floor and had a train. The dress was form fitting and silk, leaving really nothing to the imagination. It was long cut in front and sleeveless. Her hair was curled and went down passed her shoulders.
Olivia chuckled at John before closing his mouth with her finger. "Don't drool."
"She's taken anyway." Elliot grinned walking in and kissing her cheek. "You look absolutely amazing! I told you that you would, but you wouldn't let me go shopping with you."
Olivia smiled and pecked his lips before wiping off the corner of his mouth. "That's because my mother wanted to take me and she would've scared you. You aren't ready to see her in a string bikini bending over to pick up her keys."
John and Elliot cringed. "I've already seen her eat three double baked potatoes and said it was an appetizer. Last time I let that woman in here when she hasn't had lunch." John mumbled before walking into the kitchen with a basket of laundry.
Olivia wrapped her arms around Elliot's neck before kissing him again, letting her lips linger longer. "Did you call the hotel?"
"Yep, they will have everything waiting for us when we get there." Elliot grinned before dropping his forehead to hers. "I kind of don't want to go and just skip right to the hotel part."
Olivia giggled and shook her head. "I want to show you off tonight. Plus, you are up for a couple nominations. We need to go. Besides, it's a turn on to see you win something over Steven Spielberg."
Elliot's eyes widened before he took her hand and hurried with her to the door. "We need to go!" Olivia laughed and hurried with him out to their limo.
"How are your feet? I know the red carpet can be uncomfortable." Elliot asked concerned. They had been going around for a while. They had done a few simple interviews and photos and now they were moving to the more televised interviews.
"Are you kidding me? I spend triple this time shopping. I'm fine." Olivia smiled at him. He kissed the back of her hand before a reporter called over for them. Their guard let them over there to do the interview.
"Elliot Stabler, you are up for four awards tonight. Is there any certain one that you are hoping to win?" The reporter asked.
Elliot smiled and shook his head. "No, not really. I'm just happy to be here with my friends and have a nice night with my girlfriend." He said before looking at Olivia.
The reporter looked at Olivia and smiled. "You look gorgeous tonight! How did you meet Elliot?"
Olivia grinned and shrugged. "I became his nanny." She chuckled when Elliot kissed her cheek. "And, thanks! This dress is probably the most comfortable thing I've worn this week."
Their guard came over and motioned that they needed to continue on. The reporter smiled at them. "Well, good luck tonight!" Elliot nodded as Olivia waved before they headed further down the red carpet.
"We are going to be on every tabloid again tomorrow now that we are going public with this. Now, people will know I got a hot girlfriend." Elliot smirked, making Olivia laugh and loop her arm with his. "How are you handling all this? I know the lights and reporters can get overwhelming."
"It is a little bit, but it's easier with you here." Olivia smiled before their guard took them over to another reporter, this one wanting a kiss and details about their relationship. Apparently, word traveled faster around the red carpet than it did in a school. When they got to their last interview, the reporter knew Olivia by name and was asking how they finally started dating.
When they finally made it inside of the building for the Golden Globes, they were seated and given glasses of wine and plates of food. Olivia's eyes widened looking down at the huge prime rib that she had on her plate. "You didn't tell me we got food in this thing."
Elliot smiled. "I guess I forgot to tell you. I keep forgetting you haven't been to one of these things before."
Olivia rolled her eyes, but nodded. "I thought Alex was coming to this thing?"
"Yeah, she will be here a little bit later. She doesn't like the red carpet interviews at the early hours. The later interviews apparently get aired on TV. It's never worked in the past. I don't know why it would now." Elliot shrugged before taking a sip of his wine. "I bet our interviews will be on TV. Every guy I saw was checking you out. I think Bradley Cooper took one to many glances at you."
"Bradley Cooper? He's hot!" Olivia gasped before looking around.
Elliot rolled his eyes. "I sure feel special."
Olivia giggled and leaned over and kissed him passionately, making him groan softly into her mouth. "I would never leave you for another man."
"God, let this show go by fast. I don't know how much longer I can wait for the hotel." Elliot breathed before kissing her nose. "I heard some of my director friends talking and they thought you were an actress."
"Really?" Olivia asked with a quirked eyebrow. "Who knows? I could star in one of your movies someday."
Elliot grinned. "Maybe. You might have your own show." Olivia beamed at him before they started eating.
Please review! The dress I described is like the sparkly silver one Mariska wore to the red carpet one time. I just changed the color to red.
