I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY! I don't even have a reason for being so late for uploading but I'm back and ready for some action and I hope you are. Without further ado lets get started.
*Jacks POV*
I breathed heavily in annoyance. The fearling practically mocked us and just disappeared leaving all of us frustrated. Our plan failed and we don't have our friend back. I tried to contain my anger but blue sparks shot out of my staff and hit a wall ice flying everywhere. Ok so I was ready to kill pitch. I felt a hand tug my hand and hold it. A thumb stroked the back of my hand signaling comfort and I tried to calm down. I looked to my side to see River smiling softly at me.
"Jack. We'll get him back don't worry lets just go back to the pole and sort something out. A new plan. A better plan. I promise you we'll get Hiccup back. All of us. Together"
I calmed mentally and physically she really did know what to say. Merida stood up with help from Astrid and Rapunzel. She mumbled some curses under her breath swearing to destroy Pitch and the 'others'. I threw a snow globe onto the ground and entered into it with everybody following behind. Once we were at the pole we were greeted with some very angry guardians.
"Where were you all?!" North bellowed and I saw Merida, Astrid, Flynn and Rapunzel flinch while River and I just looked down at the ground glaring at it. Merida spoke for the group but her voice was dripping with venom.
"We went to find Hiccup and free him but we couldn't the fearling has overpowered him. Pitch and the others have converted him into a monster and we will have to fight hard to free him. But we can't not with there disappearing act." By the end my heart was hammering inside my chest and I realized Rivers hand and my hands curled up into fists making my knuckles go white.
The guardians looked nearly as distraught as we were. North had a sympathetic look on his face and so did Bunny. Tooth fell to her knees on the floor and the tooth fairies flew to her side trying to make her get up. Then there was Sandy. Sandy knew the pain Hiccup was feeling because hes been through it. My thoughts were interrupted by Toothless whimpering and roaring like he was repeating Hiccups name over and over begging to be ok.
The room started to get slightly darker and some wind picked up in the room. Almost immediately we were all in a fighting position waiting for something to attack. A cackle made me growl slightly.
"Awh guardians your all so lost without the little Hiccup. Was he really that important? If your so desperate to have him back why don't you just join him." Pitch's voice echoed around the room and with his last few words fearlings were everywhere. But they were different they weren't nightmare horses they were... Bears.
They didn't attack though it was like they were waiting. Just as that thought crossed my mind out stepped him. Hiccup. He gasped out a word that none of us heard and he gripped his head. Toothless jumped over us and near him but immediately he was shot back by dark sand. He stood back up and blasted blue energy at Hiccup hitting him in the chest making him collapse to the floor. That's when the nightmare bears attacked us. I don't know how long I had been fighting for but I had only just realized that I was alone and I had been split up from everyone.
*Astrid's POV*
I was alone but I was still fighting. The only thought in my head was one of these things were inside the man I love and I couldn't help him. I saw an arrow wizz past me and hit a nightmare bear behind me. I spun around to be met with a red head. Merida.
"We need a plan to find everyone." I practically yelled just so she could hear me. She obviously got the message because she nodded and then shot three arrows in the air. The place was a battle ground and you could only see a few feet in front. The whole place went quiet when there was a scream, a blue light and then nothing. All the nightmares started retreating and disappearing making it so we could see everyone. It got brighter in the room and I gasped at the sight before me. The place was in ruins and in the the middle was Rapunzel lying on the floor with crimson blood surrounding her body.
Flynn was by her side in seconds and then we were all next to her. My vision went blurry and a few tears fell out my eyes and onto her pale body. Flynn was sobbing into her chest and Toothless was nudging her side wanting a reaction. Did Hiccup do this? Suddenly there was a presence by my side. River. She knelt down by Rapunzel's side and lifted her head up.
"There is a bright side to being the spirit of the sun. I bring life." She started to glow and then the whole room went white and I had to shield my eyes so I wouldn't be blinded.
What was that?...
So I hope that was alright and once again I am so sorry for not updating.
Jack: You better be all the readers missed me.
