Olivia moaned softly when Elliot's arms wrapped around her waist from behind. She had just finished making an ice cream sundae and couldn't wait to dive into it. But, it seemed like Elliot had other plans. "I need food, El. We've been having sex non stop for the past seven days. I've lost twelve pounds."
"I thought you needed to gain weight before then. You already looked tiny." Elliot said kissing her shoulder, moving her hair away.
"You can't say stuff like that and not expect me to want sex." Olivia whined dropping her hands to the counter in front of her.
Elliot chuckled before grabbing her sundae. "Just follow me." He took her hand and led her upstairs to his bedroom. When they walked in, he handed her the bowl of ice cream before laying down on the bed, crooking his finger at her to join him. Olivia grinned and straddled him, holding her ice cream bowl up before scooping some on her spoon. "There, how is this?"
Olivia smiled as she put the spoon in her mouth. "Best of both worlds here." She put the spoon back into the bowl before feeding Elliot. "Everyone comes back tomorrow."
"I know. I'm going to miss having you all to myself." Elliot said before licking his lips. He took her hips into his hands, caressing her skin gently. "I'm not even going to be home tomorrow for that long. One of the directors is coming by tomorrow to take me to lunch. I love it when they want to schmooze me."
"I don't even get how that works. If they have the money, why doesn't the director just produce it?" Olivia asked furrowing her eyebrows.
Elliot shrugged his shoulders. "Well, sometimes they do. But, this way they don't have to worry about another job that they have to do for one movie. They spend a lot more time on set than I do. I come in a couple times a week to make sure everything is working correctly and running smoothly. Plus, this way I do more than just write a bunch of checks."
Olivia smiled at him before feeding him more ice cream. "So, what are we going to do about us?"
"How about a date Friday night to any restaurant you want?" Elliot asked as he watched her lick whip cream off her wrist. When she grinned down at him, he took that as her answer.
"John's home!" Olivia announced as John walked through the front door. It seemed to be delivery hour with the kids arriving home within the past sixty minutes, each carrying more stories than baggage. They had all gone straight to their rooms to unpack and reacquaint themselves with their rooms. She saw another black town car pull up. "Elliot, the director is here."
John dropped his bags before hugging Olivia. "So, do I need to turn your bedroom into a nursery within the next nine months?"
Olivia rolled her eyes as she closed the door, seeing the director hadn't even gotten out of his car yet. "I missed your sex addicted humor the past week, John."
"You still haven't answered the question, Ms. Benson." John said crossing his arms over his chest.
"I'd say no, but I haven't had enough time to actually know. I'm on the pill, John. And- wait, you don't need to know until I know." Olivia said smacking his arm lightly. She moved his bags towards the stairs before turning back to him. "Welcome back though to the house of Stabler. We are just beginning our summer season."
John rolled his eyes. "The worst one because the kids are home all day long."
Olivia chuckled before Elliot and Alex came out from his office. "John, welcome back!" Elliot grinned before hugging John. "I'd say let's go out for lunch, but unfortunately we have a business meeting."
There was a knock at the door before the doorbell went off. John immediately opened it, grimacing when he realized that he was back to work starting at that moment. He didn't get the chance to say hello before the director walked in. "Elliot, old sport, we need to get going. I have a reservation for us in twenty minutes."
"Well, let's go then." Elliot stated before he gestured for Alex to go out first. He was about to walk out the door when he noticed Mr. Isaac wasn't coming with them. "Is there a problem?"
"There's no problem at all. I'm just wondering who this lovely lady is." Mr. Isaac grinned before lifting Olivia's hand to his mouth and kissing it. "Elliot, don't tell me you bought her from some foreign country. I'd have to blackmail you into divulging your secrets."
Elliot smiled lightly. "No, Ms. Benson is my nanny. She's been here for almost a year now."
"Exactly, whose nanny is she?" Mr. Isaac asked with smirk. Olivia crossed her arms over her chest. She was appalled by Mr. Isaac's suggestions about her, but she was more stunned by Elliot's statement. He again went to Ms. Benson and she also become the nanny again.
"Elliot, can I have a brief word with you before you leave?" Olivia asked pointing towards the hallway by the staircase.
Elliot nodded. "I'll be out to the car in a minute." He said to Mr. Isaac before walking with Olivia. Once they were out of earshot, he spoke. "What's wrong?"
"Ms. Benson? The nanny? Elliot, I thought we discussed this." Olivia said clearly frustrated with how he was acting about their relationship.
Elliot ran a hand down his face. "He's a business associate. Look, I just don't want to make us completely public yet."
Olivia's jaw dropped. "Your kids hardly think we're dating. John is the only one that knows about us."
"Can we talk about this more when I get back from lunch?" Elliot asked.
Olivia looked down at the floor, shaking her head. "Wow, this is fantastic." She looked up at him, biting her lip. "There's nothing to discuss. I'm leaving."
Elliot sighed before kissing her forehead. "Don't do anything rash. Let's just talk more about this when I come back home, okay?" He didn't wait for her answer before hurrying out the door to the waiting car, leaving Olivia standing alone in the hallway.
Olivia zipped up her last bag and turned to find John standing there with a sad smile on his face. "I promised myself I wouldn't get attached to another one of the kids' nannies." He chuckled.
"You lost that battle the first time you put vodka in my root beer float." Olivia smiled before a tear rolled down her cheek. "I'm going to miss you." She breathed before hugging him.
John hugged her tightly, kissing her head. "Text me all the time. We can still have weekly lunch together or something."
Olivia grinned and patted his chest. "That sounds like a plan." She ran a hand through her hair. "I still haven't said goodbye to the kids."
"Well, we better get a move on then." John whispered before going to get the kids. Olivia slung a duffle bag over her shoulder, letting it rest against her opposite hip. Using her arms and hands to carry the rest of the bags, she walked into the hallway and saw the kids standing in a line with John behind them. "They're as ready as they'll ever be."
Olivia felt her heart break seeing the kids already having tears in their eyes or on their face. "I'm sorry guys."
Nick stepped forward. "Why are you leaving? You said you would never hurt us."
Olivia put her bags down and put her hands in her back pockets. "I'm not trying to hurt you, but... if I stay I'm going to end up getting hurt. And, I'm not leaving you guys. You can call me or text me any time you want. When I get a place of my own, you can come by and visit me any time. I promise."
Katie walked up to her with her big blue eyes staring up at her. "You promised you'd never leave me."
"I know I did, sweetie. But, I just can't stay." Olivia choked out before picking her up and hugging her tightly.
"You're leaving because of Dad, aren't you?" Daniel asked stepping forward, tears forming in his eyes.
Tears formed in her own eyes. "Daniel-"
"I knew it was because of him." Daniel breathed before hugging her tightly. Olivia hugged him back, hugging Nick when he came over to hug her as well.
"I'm not abandoning you guys, okay? I love you and nothing will ever come between us." Olivia whispered before kissing each of their heads. "I'll see you guys later. I'll call to say goodnight tonight, okay?" They all nodded sniffling with tear stained faces. "Take her." She whispered to Daniel, handing Katie to him. Katie whined and wrapped her arms tightly around Daniel's neck, putting her face in his neck. "Hey." Katie peeked out to look at her. "You call me whenever you want, okay? Just ask your brothers or John and they will call me for you."
Katie nodded and hugged Olivia, staying in Daniel's arms. "I love you, Mommy."
Olivia felt the tears fall down quicker now. "I love you too, Katie. Take care of the guys for me, okay?" Katie nodded her head and wrapped her arms back around Daniel's neck, now pressing her cheek against his so she could still see Olivia. They all waved to her as she headed downstairs after picking up her bags again.
Elliot paced the living room and looked up when he heard heels on the stairs. "Olivia-" He froze seeing her with all her bags come down. "What are you doing?"
"I told you I'm leaving." Olivia stated as she started walking through the living room.
"You are going to leave everything here. You promised my kids-" Elliot started to say, but stopped when Olivia cut him off.
"I promised your kids I would never leave them. And, I'm not. They can call me or talk to me any time they want." Olivia snapped glaring at him. She ran a hand through her hair as she took a deep breath to calm down. "I need to leave before this goes any further."
Elliot followed her as she walked towards the door. "What are you talking about? Olivia, let's talk about this."
Olivia shook her head. "There's nothing to talk about."
"Olivia, listen to me please." Elliot begged trying to block her from the door.
Olivia dragged her bags behind her. "No, Elliot!" She yelled, making him stop and stare down at her. "So many of our arguments are about you not committing and they all end in you scooping me off my feet literally or figuratively." She felt the tears burn down her cheeks as she spoke. "I can't take it anymore. We're not heading anywhere. You still can't even call me Olivia in front of your business friends. You take one step forward and five steps back. You said you loved me and then avoided me and gave me tasks to do so I would keep busy. When we're alone together, everything is great, but... when reality comes back to us, you disappear and become this person I don't know." She took out her house key from her pocket and held it out to him. "I can't do this anymore."
Elliot took the key feeling the oxygen slowly leaving his lungs, leaving him panicking inside. "I love you."
"I love you too." Olivia smiled lightly, but it dropped as more tears fell. "But, I have to go." With that, she grabbed her bags and walked around him, leaving the house to go to her waiting taxi.
