"Elliot! Nothing fits! I'm not going!" Olivia whined as she dropped down onto their bed. Elliot ran a hand down his face. It was the beginning of award season, and Olivia was not understanding that she needed to go out and get different dresses to wear. "Can't I just wear sweatpants and watch you on TV?"
"No, you are going with me to this. You have been waiting for this event for months. There has got to be something you can fit into." Elliot stated as he started riffling through her closet.
Olivia looked down at her stomach. "All of my dresses were skin tight! Your baby is making me fat!"
Elliot rolled his eyes as he started throwing dresses onto the bed. "You had your fun in the making of our baby. We may have some troubles having sex over the next few months, but you and I both know we enjoy it."
"You are lucky if we ever have sex again." Olivia sighed running a hand over her stomach. "I don't know whether I'm hungry or nauseous, bored or uncomfortable, tired or horney. It is like I'm constantly having PMS with extra hormones."
"Well, you look beautiful while doing it." Elliot smiled before leaning over and kissing her gently. "Now, can you wear one of these dresses?"
Olivia looked over and lifted up a yellow one that she had worn a few years ago. It wasn't skin tight, but she was worried that she might have grown out of it even before the pregnancy. "I'll try this one."
Elliot smiled and waved the crowd while keeping his arm around Olivia's waist. "You look beautiful. I hope you know that." He whispered into her ear before kissing her cheek.
Olivia turned more into him, letting her stomach graze his side. "Whatever, I look fat."
"You look pregnant." Elliot chuckled before guiding her further down the red carpet. "I'm glad people know that you're mine."
Olivia grinned before kissing him, cupping his face in her hands. "Good, because I'll always be yours." She looked around and saw one of the runway people calling for them. "I think they want to talk to us."
"You wanna go over?" Elliot asked knowing that Olivia was probably starting to get a little irritated with the heat. It was October, but it was a record breaking heat for the day. Olivia shrugged in a response. "I'm going to take that as a might as well." Olivia giggled as they walked over.
"And, here is Elliot Stabler! I hear there are lots of things happening with you this year!" The perky blonde smiled at him, almost shoving the microphone at him.
Elliot grinned before looking at Olivia. "There sure is. My beautiful fiance and I are expecting our first child together. We are both very excited about it, as well as our three kids at home."
"I can see. Olivia, you are absolutely glowing!" The blonde said gesturing towards her dress.
Olivia smiled and looked down at her baby bump. "Thank you! Like Elliot said, we're both just so excited to meet our baby. Who knew this would happen when I started out as the nanny?"
"So, do you guys have a date set for the wedding?" She asked obviously trying to dig into the details that hadn't been released yet.
Elliot chuckled as he rubbed Olivia's back. "We're looking at next fall right now. A few months after the baby is born."
The woman kept the grin on her face even though her eyes had a twinge of anger in them. She wanted details, even Olivia could see that. Thank God the camera wasn't pointed at her! "Well, thanks for stopping! And, good luck tonight!"
"Thank you." Olivia smiled before she and Elliot left. "God, she was nosy."
Elliot laughed out loud, so loud that everybody around turned to look at him. Olivia started giggling at him before putting her hands on his chest. "Oh, I love it when you speak what I'm thinking."
Olivia grinned before kissing him. "You better always love it."
"I will." Elliot promised before kissing her forehead. He intertwined their fingers together before they continued to make their way to the award show.
Olivia smiled as she watched Elliot scarf down his steak like it was his first time eating in a week. "El, baby, slow down. I don't want you to choke."
"It's so good, though. No offense to John, but he can never make a steak like this." Elliot said pointing to his plate.
"You mean grilled?" Olivia giggled before wiping his mouth with her napkin. "I'll keep that in mind, grilled is better."
Elliot let his arm rest on the back of her chair. "John doesn't know how to work a grill."
Olivia shrugged. "So, I know how." Elliot's eyes widened. "I know how to do a lot of things you've never seen before."
Elliot kissed her cheek before letting his lips skim her ear. "I look forward to finding out the others." Olivia smiled as a chill ran down her spine. She kissed the corner of his mouth before they heard the announcer say that the show was starting soon.
Olivia was pleasantly surprised with how everything went. Not only did tons of people come up to congratulate Elliot and talk to him, they came up to see her as well. Some of them just wanted to meet her to see who captured the heart of the famous Elliot Stabler. She was really glad that Elliot had forced her to come after all. As the night went on, she forgot all about her weight gain and just focused on the baby. Everyone seemed so interested about it.
Elliot looked over at Olivia and smiled. "You getting tired?"
"A little bit, but there's just your category left. One more award." Olivia nodded before yawning, covering her mouth with her hand. "I didn't think making a human being would take so much energy out of me."
"Well, you're doing well." Elliot reminded her before kissing her temple. "Everyone was more excited to see you than me!" Olivia laughed before leaning into him, letting her head rest against his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her waist before the signal showed that they were going back on the aire. They all clapped as Sigourney Weaver walked up to the microphone.
"Whether it's creating the set, buying the props, or telling the actors what to do, guiding them as what their character might be going through, we all turn to our directors. Without them, we would basically be a bunch of headless chickens wondering what the heck we should be doing." Sigourney smiled, making the crowd chuckle. "These are our nominees! Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Elliot Stabler, Clint Eastwood." The screen showed all the nominees in their golden circles around the golden globe award. "And, the Golden Globe goes to... Elliot Stabler."
Olivia grinned as she and Elliot stood up with everyone from their table. Elliot smiled at her before cupping her face in his hands and kissing her. "I love you, Liv."
"I love you too. Now, go get your award." Olivia chuckled.
Elliot nodded before hurrying through the applauding crowd to the stage. He kissed Sigourney's cheek before taking the award and envelope from her. "Thank you Sigourney." He said into the microphone before turning to look out at everyone. "Wow, I mean, wow. Sigourney was right. We, as directors, like to boss people around and tell them what to do. Depending on who you are, it brings me a great amount of joy to do just that." Olivia smiled while the crowd laughed. "But, I think I can say this about all the directors out there. We don't just boss you around to create our vision of what we want something to be. We care about our actors, our cast, and our crew. We want everyone to see what we see. And, I couldn't do that without the support from all of you. So, thank you. Thank you all. Without you and the support from my amazing children, I wouldn't be able to do this. And, a special thanks to my beautiful, talented fiance. Baby, you mean so much to me, and I owe you a thousand thank yous! I love you! Thank you!"
Olivia grinned while tearing up. She wiped her eyes and started clapping her hands as Elliot was escorted off the stage. "I love that man."
Please review! Love you guys!
