Olivia walked down the stairs in a sweatshirt and shorts, her hair pulled into a messy ponytail, and eyes drooping from the lack of sleep. Elliot smiled sympathetically at her and wrapped his arms around her as she snuggled up to his chest. "Why can't you be the one that carries the baby? I've been up all night throwing up, and I still have to get fat."
"I know, baby." Elliot said before kissing her head. "I wish you didn't have to go through all of this misery because of the baby, but I promise. It will be all worth it when you hold our baby for the first time. Today, you have the whole house to yourself. John is away on a holiday. The kids have school. I will be back around lunch to check up on you. So, you can catch up on getting some sleep."
"That sounds good." Olivia nodded her head before lifting up her sweatshirt to look at her baby bump. She was really starting to show. Besides when she wore sweatshirts, you could tell she was pregnant now. There was no questioning it. "We'll definitely take advantage of that."
Elliot kissed her head before doing the same to her growing stomach. "Keep Mommy from snooping around."
Olivia rolled her eyes. "It's Mommy's house too. She'll look whereever she wants to." She kissed his cheek before rubbing his chest. "If I'm asleep when you come home, wake me up."
"Alright. I put your phone on the coffee table. I'll see you later. Love you." Elliot nodded before kissing her forehead and walking towards the door.
"Love you too." Olivia called after him before plopping down on the couch. She heard the door close before sleep took over.
"Olivia?" A voice called. Olivia moaned in her sleep when the voice reached her ears again. "Olivia? Olivia! Wake up!"
Olivia jolted awake and groaned seeing her mother standing over her. "Mom! What are you doing here? I was sleeping!"
"Well, I was afraid you were dead. You weren't waking up." Sonya said before sitting down on the couch by her feet.
"You didn't see my chest moving?" Olivia asked before covering her eyes with her arm. "I didn't get any sleep last night. Elliot made sure everyone was out of the house so that I could catch up on sleep. Ma! I'm tired!"
Sonya rolled her eyes. "Stop sounding so whiney. You can sleep tonight when you go to bed. I came by to see how you were doing otherwise."
Olivia let out a frustrated sigh. "What are you talking about?"
"Well, I want to know if Elliot is still taking care of you." Sonya explained. Olivia gave her a confused look, furrowing her eyebrows together. "Sexually."
"Ew! Ma! I am your daughter, not your gal pal from the stone age." Olivia said standing up. She turned when she heard crunching behind her. Don was sitting in the chair with a bag of chips, watching the muted TV. "How long have you two been here?"
Don pointed to the couch and then to Sonya. "It took us twenty minutes to wake you up. I told your mother to let you be, but you know her."
Olivia rubbed her face with her hands. "Oh my God! This is not happening." When her phone went off, she picked it up to find that her calender was reminding her of her ultrasound appointment in two hours. "Crap! I gotta call Elliot." She walked out of the room and dialed Elliot's number. He answered after the second ring.
"Hey Liv, what's going on?" Elliot asked as he stepped away from the scene they were filming.
"Well, I just woke up thanks to my mother." Olivia sighed as she walked into the kitchen.
Elliot's eyes widened. "Oh God! I locked the door, and we changed the locks. How did she get a key so fast?"
Olivia shook her head. "I don't know, but I just got a notification on my phone. We have an ultrasound today. If the baby is in the right position, this is the day we might find out what we're having. Plus, we missed my last ultrasound. We should really go to this one."
"Alright, I'll let the assistant director take over for the afternoon. We'll go to your appointment and then we'll find something like a keypad for the door." Elliot said thinking of what all he wanted to get done.
"Okay, it's in two hours. So, I'll go up and work on getting ready. Do you think the doctor would mind if I just wore sweats?" Olivia asked wanting to be as comfortable as possible.
Elliot chuckled and shook his head. "I'll come back and join you in that wardrobe change. I don't like wearing slacks all day."
Olivia smiled lightly. "Good, I'll get rid of Bonnie and Clyde in there. Hopefully, they'll be gone before you get here."
Elliot held Olivia's hand as they waited for the doctor to come in. She was falling asleep on the table, snorting each time she would wake herself up. "This doctor better come in soon, or else I may just kill him."
"It'll be okay, baby. Once we're done here, we'll go home and sleep." Elliot said before kissing her head.
The doctor came in with a big grin on his face. "Well, hello! I'm Dr. Young."
Elliot shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."
"I see that you guys are here for an ultrasound. You guys missed your first one?" Dr. Young asked looking at their file.
"Yeah, we had a family emergency that had to take top priority." Elliot explained before looking at Olivia. The truth was, Sonya had texted them saying their was an emergency, but she had actually run out of chicken wings because Don had gotten into them.
The doctor nodded. "Alright, then let's get started." After explaining things and squirting the gel on Olivia's stomach, he started looking for the heartbeat. "Okay, it should be right about... here." He smiled before the room was filled with the small noise of the heartbeat. "Did you guys want to know the sex?"
"Yes, please." Olivia smiled looking at the screen.
The doctor pointed to the screen. "Well, it looks like you're having a boy."
"Another boy? Katie is going to have a field day with this." Elliot chuckled. Olivia grinned.
"And two girls." The doctor said pointing to two other spots on the screen.
"That's funny." Olivia's eyes widened. "What did you say?"
The doctor grinned. "Congratulations! It looks like you guys are having triplets!"
"I didn't know that my swimmers were that powerful." Elliot smirked looking down at Olivia. The doctor excused himself after printing out a few pictures.
"I don't have enough breasts to feed them." Olivia smiled before wiping off her stomach. She gently caressed her stomach. "Not only that, where are we going to put them. We only have the one spare bedroom. I know they'll be babies, but we shouldn't put three in one room."
Elliot shoved his hands into his pockets. "Well, I guess it's a good time to bring it up. I got a call today. NBC wants me to do this new TV show for them."
Olivia's jaw dropped. "That's fantastic!"
"The thing is, we have to move out to Long Island. So, we could find a house between the set and the city so you can still make the drive here without it being too long. Plus, I'm guessing we'd want the babies born here in the city." Elliot explained. "And, NBC kind of suggested that you audition for the show."
"What?" Olivia asked.
Elliot nodded with a smirk. "Well, it turns out that everyone that wants to know more about me is really just trying to find out more about you. They can't get enough of the nanny."
Olivia chuckled as she went behind the curtain to change. "But, what about when the babies are born? John is good at his job, but dealing with three babies is a lot for two parents let alone a butler." She stepped out and saw him sitting on the table.
"Well, here's an idea. We could hire a nanny!" Elliot grinned before wrapping his arms around her waist.
Olivia shook her head. "The last time you hired a nanny, you married her."
Elliot chuckled. "Well, I was thinking we could hire Casey. She's your best friend, we trust her, and she would love to meet celebrities every week. The show won't start for a while. We can have the babies, get hitched, and settle into the house before we start auditioning."
"You just thought of everything, didn't you?" Olivia asked with a smirk. "I think we should do it."
"Really?" Elliot asked with a grin.
Olivia nodded and kissed the corner of his mouth. "Really! All we have to do is call Casey and ask how she feels about being the new nanny!"
