Chapter twenty.
Stefan's POV.
I watch Elena sleeping in my arms, breathing softly on my neck and I kiss her hair, rubbing her back gently. I know that she wanted to have sex with me because she is insatiable, I love her even more when she is like this, all over me. I can't keep my hands off her body for one minute, I have to touch her, feeling her skin on mine. I missed this for so long and I don't ever want to feel lost again. She moves a little closer to me and mumble incoherently in her sleep. My phone rings and I look at it. It's a text from Nik, "Ethan Elijah Mikaelson is born at 3AM. Caroline and the baby are both fine." A second text arrives, "how is my little girl ?". I knew that he will ask for Emily. She's his little princess, like Ella is mine.
I respond quietly "I'm glad they are both fine. Kiss them for us and she is fine, sleeping next to Ella and dreaming of her little brother."
I put my phone away and pull Elena closer to me, inhaling her hair before kissing her neck. I fall asleep feeling the kicks of our children on my hands and the sound of her heartbeat.
"Babe.." Elena whispers in my ear and I wrap her in my arms. I don't feel her nightwear so I open my arms and see her in a full dress.
"Why are you dressed ?" I ask and run my hands over my face.
"Because I want to see Ethan." she respond and nips at my neck.
"Keep doing that and we will leave in an hour." I groan and I kiss her lips softly.
"Humm, no." she murmurs against my lips and gets out of the bed before I can say anything else.
"Hurry up, Ella is already up and excited to meet her new cousin. Breakfast is waiting for us when you have finished over here." she says and kisses me chastely on the lips.
"Can I have another kiss, please ?" I ask and she approaches me.
"Of course." she says and my mouth claims her. My tongue invades her mouth and she wraps her arms around my neck pulling me to her. My teeth graze her lower lip, pulling it away from her teeth. I feel goosebumps on her skin when my hand brushes against her skin. I press my forehead against her when I pull away from her, her panting breath matching my own.
"Good morning, baby." I murmur and she sighs.
"You can't do that, Stefan." she says and kisses my neck.
"Of course, I can. You should have woken me up earlier. I will take care of you later, baby." I say and kiss her forehead.
"I hate you." she says and I get out of bed wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her against my chest.
"I know you don't, let me get dressed so I can tell my daughter to wait for me before eating her breakfast." I say and take off my white t shirt. I hear Elena's breath catch in her throat.
"I hate you when you do this."
"It's just a body, baby nothing more." I say and walk towards her. She runs her hands on my chest and moans when I let my fingertips touch her thigh.
"Humm, we have to stop now because then we will never leave." I murmur against her lips.
"No, please. I need you Stefan." she begs blushing and I love it but we can't. Ella is downstairs alone with Em watching TV and it's been four days since I made love to her and I miss our connection when we are together.
"Baby, tonight I promise you but Ella and Emily are waiting for us." I say and kiss her one last time before heading to the bathroom.
We are in the hallway of the hospital, holding hands with Emily and Ella next to us. "Are you exciting to meet your little brother ?" I ask Ella and she nods her head frantically.
"What's his name ?" I ask and watch Emily trying very hard to say Ethan.
"Ethan.." she says smiling and proud of herself.
"Bravo baby girl !" I say and Ella knocks at Caroline's door. "Come in." I hear Nik saying through the door.
"Come on, Em. Open the door." I say and she opens it shyly.
"Daddy !" she says and runs towards Nik, hiding her head in the crook of his neck.
I watch Caroline's face light up when she sees Emily, she mouths 'thank you' to us and I nod, letting them enjoying the first time Emily met her little brother.
"Come, see your little brother." Nik says and approaches her towards the bed.
"Mommy, can I see the baby ?" Ella asks Elena.
"After Emily she is his big sister, baby." she says and lifts Ella's chin so she can look in her eyes. "We are going to the cafeteria with Daddy, okay ?"
She nods and waits patiently to leave the room.
Klaus's POV.
"This is your little brother, Ethan Elijah Mikaelson." Caroline says and kisses her hair.
"Little brother ?" she asks and touches his cheek slowly.
"Yes, baby girl. Are you happy ?" Caroline asks with happy tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Can I hold him ?" Emily asks and she looks at me hopefully.
"Of course, sit carefully in the chair and I will put him in your arms." I say and take him from Caroline's arms, kissing her lips softly.
I put him in her arms gently and he opens his little blue eyes staring at his sister. "Mommy, he is looking at me !" she says happily.
"He is beautiful isn't he ?" Caroline says and smiles at Emily.
"Yes." she says and looks at Ethan with love in her eyes.
"Mommy, you look tired." Emily says without taking her eyes off Ethan for one second.
"I am, baby girl." she responds yawning but even if her body is exhausted she doesn't want to miss one second of Emily and Ethan together.
Ethan begins to cry and Em looks at me terrified and I take him from her. "Shh, baby. Are you hungry ?" I ask him and he cries even more. I put him in Caroline's lap and she breastfed's him.
"Mommy, why does he suckle and I don't ?" Emily asks and touches her brother hair.
"Because he is a baby and you had when you were a little baby too." I respond smiling and sit in the chair.
"I was little like him ?" she asks us like it's something impossible.
"Even smaller, you were 16 ½ inches while he is 18 ½ inches." Caroline replies smiling when Em sits on my lap.
I watch her memorize his face and trace his little chin with her fingertips, like they are alone in this world, a pure moment between a child and his mother. She smiles when she hears him sigh in relief and falling asleep with her nipple in his mouth.
"Daddy, someone is knocking." Emily says to me and I shake my head clearing my thoughts.
"Go, open the door if you want." I say and she runs towards it.
"El ! Come see my baby brother !" she says happily and takes Ella's hands in her. "Mommy, can I see her ?"
"Ask Uncle Nik, it's his and Auntie Care's baby." Elena responds smiling and winks at me. I nod at Ella and she approaches the bed shyly.
"You can touch his little hand because he is asleep." Stefan says at her and she nods.
She comes and sits on the bed with my help. Caroline leans over and kisses her hair, "You can touch him, go on." Caroline encourages her. I watch the interaction between the three of them together. Ella is carefully caressing Ethan's cheek. Emily is holding Ethan's hand and Caroline is smiling. I know that she has a special connection with Ella because she was there when Ella was born. It's Caroline who was with her along the way. I know that she suffered from this situation between Stefan and Elena. When we saw him in NY to see my parents with Em two weeks after she was born and he was so happy. So happy for having her in his arms and she thought of Elena who she was alone with her three weeks old daughter. When I looked at her she had tears in her eyes and tried hard not to cry in front of him. It breaks my heart to see him like this with my daughter when he had one and he didn't know it. "Daddy, can Auntie Lena hold him ?" I hear my daughter asking me.
"Of course, if she wants to." I respond knowing that she wants to.
She sits in the other chair and takes him from Caroline's arms. "Congratulation, Nik." Stefan says and pats my shoulder.
"Thank you, I'm so happy." I say smiling from ear to ear.
"I can't wait to hold mine." he says thinking. I know that he missed that with Ella and wants to pass as much time with her as possible and also holding his twin.
"You will soon." I wink at him.
Elena's POV.
I take him my arms ad whisper in Caroline's ear "Congratulation." He is so small and beautiful with his little button nose, his pink lips and his blue eyes like his father. He opens his sleepy eyes and looks at me.
"Hey buddy. I'm your Auntie Lena." I whisper to him and caress his cheek. We watch each other for a few minutes before his eyes become too heavy and falling asleep.
I look up at Stefan because I feel his eyes on me the entire time 'I love you' he mouths at me and I told him everything in my gaze.
"Will you two stop looking at each other like that ?" Nik smirks and I blush. "You can talk all you want Nik but we didn't do anything together when you were next to us." I say smirking at him.
"I don't know what are you talking about." he winks.
"Hold him, babe." I say to Stefan and he picks him up.
"He is so tiny." he whispers to himself and rocks him from side to side. I stare at him smiling and Ella sit on my laps and rubs my belly. "So, Care how it happened ?"
"Fine, he is born at midnight. There is complication but it's okay." she says and looks at me smiling but I see that she wants to talk about it later. I nod and squeeze her hand.
"We can take Em with us if you want." I say changing subject.
"No, she stays with us. Nik will come home with her tonight don't worry." Caroline respond.
"Okay but if you need me, call me. Ella we are leaving, kiss everybody." I say and Stefan gives Ethan at Nik.
"Okay Mommy." she says and we leave.
I had my appointment with Ashley and she said that everything is fine but I have to take it easy because they can already come soon and if I don't stop they will come sooner and I certainly don't want that. But I have to go shopping with Stefan and Ella is with Grandma Liz, for Christmas which is in two weeks. He spent so much money on me and Ella. I tried to tell him that we don't need all of this but he didn't listen. There were three CPO with us, Taylor is next to us and Ryan and Lucas behind us, observing. Christian is with Ella and Liz.
"What do you want babe ?" I ask him when we sit in a petit café.
"I only want you." he says and I blush taking his hand in mine.
"You already have me." I murmur and he brings our hands at his lips.
"How is my son and my daughter ?" he asks and I put my hands protectively on my belly.
"Good moving a little." I respond and eat a piece of my ice cream.
"I love when you eat." he says and brushes his thumbs over my palm.
"I know.." I murmur and remember our first anniversary.
"Baby, we have to go." Stefan says for the third time in half an hour.
"I'm coming." I say and put on my heels. "You are beautiful.." he says and kisses me taking my breath away.
"Thank you." I say blushing.
We are in my lake house, it was a surprise. He knows how much I love this house because of the memories of my dad. We eat dinner in a small restaurant, privately just for the two of us. I know my man is crazy.
"Je peux prendre une crème brulée ?" I ask in French, I know that we both understand and speak French properly.
"Tu peux, mon Amour." he winks and he eats un Moelleux au Chocolat.
"I love when you eat, baby." he says and he caresses my palm with his thumb.
"I eat everything, Stefan. I'm full." I say and take a sip of fresh water.
"I'm happy." he says with bright eyes.
"So do I because of you." I say smiling with happy tears in my eyes.
After this delicious diner, I give him my gift which is a photo of the two of us dancing and smiling at each other at Caroline's and Nik's their announcement of their impending marriage. He gives a charm bracelet with the Eiffel Tower, a key from his heart as he told me and a picture frame.
"Thank you, I love you." I say against his lips and kiss him passionately.
"I love you too." he whispers in my ear and pull my earlobe between his teeth. I moan and he bits, licks and nips at my neck softly.
"What about a bath ?" Stefan asks after he makes love to me and kisses my shoulder blade before trailing kisses down my spine.
"Hum, I'm good here." I murmur and enjoy this feeling a little longer.
"You fall asleep, baby." he murmurs and kisses my neck. "What about round three ?" he asks and get up from the bed naked.
"I hate you." I say and turn around watching him in his glory. He winks at me and I take his shirt from the floor. "I am going to drink a glass of water and I come."
As soon as I walk through the doorway, I stop in my tracks. Stefan is standing by the tub, naked, leaning down with his hand under the stream to check the temperature. He turns and sees me standing there with my hands frozen on the buttons of my shirt. He steps into the tub and extends his hand to me.
I rid myself of my clothes before taking his hand and stepping into the tub. I settle between his legs and he pulls me against him, my back to his front. A sigh passes through my lips at the feel of his strong arms around me. He kisses my neck teasingly, his hands roaming up from my stomach to my breasts before settling back on my stomach.
We lie there in comfortable silence, reveling in the feel and comfort of each others arms. I can't contain the audible gasp that leaves my lips when I feel his erection pushing against me. He grasps me around my waist and spins me around so I'm sitting on his thighs. He pulls me down to his lips and shoves his tongue in my mouth, kissing me with so much passion and with his other hand, he grips my backside and lifts me so he position himself at my entrance. My hands grasps onto the side of the tub as I brace myself for him and he sinks into me slowly, eliciting a deep moan to erupt from both of us.
He sits up so we're nose to nose and I slowly start rocking back and forth while he places his hands on my backside and squeezes gently, pulling me down onto him. I puts my hands around his shoulder and I kiss the corners of his mouth, grazing my teeth against his jaw, nipping slightly. He runs a trails of kisses down my neck and collar and I lift myself up and down, back and forth.
"Please, I need you Stefan." I whisper knowing that this orgasm will be powerful but he doesn't move faster, he just kisses me to silence my whimper. He puts one of his hand around the back of my neck and the other around my lower back and he begins gyrating his hips, hitting my g-spot each time and I feel myself built.
I move my hands around his neck and my fingers tangle in his hair, tilting his head up so I can kiss him. "Stefan, I'm going to come !" I say against his lips and his hips thrust faster and faster, with one last thrust the intense waves of my climax rack my body, I feel his lips moving to my throat and neck as I ride out my release. His arms tighten around me, his thighs tense and his eyes close as he comes just after me, whispering my name.
My body is lying limp against his while my head rests on his shoulder and my lips are pressed against his neck, trying to catch our breaths.
"Thank you, Stefan." l murmur breaking the silence around us, my eyes closed favoring the feeling of having him next to me.
"For what ?" he asks, running his hands down my wet hair.
For a moment I don't answer. He has given me so much during this year, a family, the job of my dream, him. I can't verbalize all the reasons as to why I'm thankful.
"For this weekend, today, for listening to me, for supporting me," I say and lock my eyes with his "And for loving me." I whisper.
He doesn't say anything. In this moment, no words are needing just the look I give me say everything. He kisses me softly and smiles.
"Earth to Elena.." Stefan touches my cheek and I jump. "Sorry, I was thinking about our first anniversary."
"It was perfect," he says and whispers in my ear "Just like you, baby."
I blush and kiss him chastely. "Can we pick up Ella, now ? You has done enough for today, baby."
I nod and we walks hand in hand when a lot of paparazzi are outside waiting for us. But our three CPO protect us and I put my hands protectively around my belly and Stefan wraps his arms tightly around my waist. We climb in the car and we drive towards our daughter.
