Thanks for the reviews. I'm glad you guys are liking the story so far! Here ya go!

"Can I ask you something?" Draco asked Hermione as they sat nestled on the couch.

"Of course." Hermione responded.

"How do you feel about Potter?"

"Why do you ask?" She said sitting up, looking him the face.

"Uh, I don't know. I've just been wondering. I mean I know how you said you felt when you came to me for help with the whole sex thing, but I was wondering how you felt now."

"Harry is pretty much my whole world. He's my best friend. I think the world of him. I love him and I'd do anything for him. He's consumed my life since I was eleven years old and I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Oh." Draco responded with his head down.

"I love him, but when I said Harry was pretty much my whole world, I meant pretty much. He's not the whole thing. Not anymore. Not since you came along and changed my perspective on you, really on the whole world. But I do love Harry." Hermione said as she placed her hand over his.

He knew now that he couldn't bring himself to tell her about Sarah and Harry. It would hurt her too much. He was so conflicted about it though. He wanted her to know. He wanted her to break up with Harry but he didn't want to destroy her. He decided to hold the information until he felt like she could handle it.

The next day Hermione woke ready to face the school and finally goto classes. Although she still felt sick, she wasn't going to miss another day of classes. She decided to skip the Great Hall and instead have breakfast with Draco in their room. But she was excited to go and see Harry for the first time in three days. But as she walked up to him in the hallway outside of their first class she instantly noticed something was different about his demeanor.

"Hey Harry." She said embracing him in a hug. "I missed you."

"Oh really, did you?" Harry questioned.

"Yes, why would you ask that?"

"Why do you think?"

"Do we need to talk about something." Hermione questioned back.

"I think we do." He said grabbing her hand, pulling her away from the classroom.

"But Harry what about class?"

"I think we are more important." He responded as they continued out to a bench outside of the castle. "What's going on with you and Malfoy?" Hermione knew she shouldn't lie. There was already enough lying going on.

"We are friends. We get along very well. We care about each other a lot."

"Are you having sex with him?"

"No, absolutely not. It's not like that Harry."

"Do you want to be with him?"

"Harry I'm with you. I want to be with you." She said trying to plead her case.

"How does he feel about you." Harry asked quickly, barely giving her time to finish her response.

"Honestly, I'm not sure. I know that he cares about me. But me and him have had this conversation many times, even if I wasn't with you, me and him wouldn't work. I could never be on his side, and he could never be on mine. So yes, we've developed a very strong friendship, but it has an expiration date."

"So you guys aren't together? You aren't having sex with him? But you do have feelings for him?"

"Pretty much." Hermione responded not able to face Harry.

"Look at me." Harry said placing his finger on her chin and turning her head towards him. "I don't want this to ruin us. We've been best friends for too long, and we make too much sense together to not be. Let's put this nonsense relationship between you and Malfoy behind us."

"Okay." Hermione nodded.

"You want to go try to sneak in class now?"

"No, I don't feel well. I'm going to go back to my room. I don't want to goto class and start throwing up."

"I didn't know you were still so sick."

"I didn't either." Hermione responded placing her hands over her face.

"Do you want me to take you back to your room?"

"No, I can do it. Just go ahead onto class."

"But I don't want to leave you alone." Harry responded concerned.

"Harry, I'll be fine." He nodded, kissed her on the forehead and headed off to class.

When Hermione finally got up and started to walk about to her room she heard voices. As she looked around to see where the voiced were coming from she spotted Harry and Sarah further down the hallway. She quickly jumped behind a column to hide herself.

"So what happened with you and your girl friend?" Sarah asked.

"We talked. Got some things settled."

"Did she admit what was going on with her and Malfoy?" Hermione then realized it was Sarah who told Harry about her and Draco. She also found it strange how around Harry Sarah calls Draco by his last name but around Draco she calls him by his first name. Something about her was manipulative.

"Not exactly. But, I got what she was trying to say."

"Does what she said changes things between me and you?" Sarah questioned.

"It changes nothing." Harry said as he pulled her into a kiss.

Hermione immediately got angry. She wanted to go over and strangle Sarah but instead she quickly ran down a different hallway that would still take her back to her room. She needed to talk to Draco but he wasn't there. She decided to lay down and wait in bed because she was still feeling very faint. As she dozed off she realized she felt worse than she ever had since she'd gotten sick.

"Father I'm here." Draco said as he entered his fathers study.

"Oh, Draco, good. I wasn't sure if you were in class or not but I needed to talk to you."

"What about?"

"Have you noticed that muddblood Granger girl getting sick?"

"Yeah, she's sick. Do you know something about that?" Draco questioned trying not to seem overly concerned even though he was.

"Well of course, we poisoned her." Lucius said with a smirk.

Uh oh! Next chapter will be up soon. Review please. Xoxo.
