This chapter is pretty much drama. I hope you guys enjoy! And a few of you guys said you wanted longer chapters, I hope this is better.

Meanwhile Hermione was wandering around the castle thinking. She wasn't sure how to proceed with her Harry situation. She knew that she didn't want to lose him. He was her best friend. She loved him. What she didn't know was whether she should confront him about Sarah or not. Could she just pretend she didn't know about it? How would she be able to stand in the same room as her?

She wished Draco hadn't left in such a rush this morning so she could ask his opinion on what to do. Sometimes she found herself wanting his opinion on everything. Constantly wanting to go to him for advice.

She smiled thinking back to waking up with him this morning. She imagined if things were simpler, how it would be waking up next to him every morning. She knew Draco made her happy. She hadn't realized how happy until this morning. But unfortunately things were not simple. Those happy feelings were always squashed when she thought about his ties to Voldemort. Her thoughts were interrupted as she smacked directly into Ron.

"Hiya Hermione. Long time no see. Are you feeling better?" Ron asked in a chipper mood. Instead of responding right away, Hermione pulled him into a really tight hug.

"Oh Ron, I've missed you." She responded finally releasing him from her grasp.

"I missed you too. What's going on? You don't seem yourself."

"A lot has been going on. I'm not sure how much Harry has told you. Probably not everything, because you don't seem to hate me."

"Hermione, why would I hate you? Harry hasn't told me anything."

"Can we go somewhere and talk?" Hermione asked. Ron nodded and they made their way a bench outside of the castle.

"You see, Ron, since this term has started me and Malfoy have... Well let's just say that we aren't enemies right now." Ron looked at her puzzled.

"Malfoy, really? Hermione he's a prick."

"That's what I always thought too. But he's not. He's a good friend, and he took such good care of me while I was sick."

"I don't understand why. What changed?"

"He likes me." Hermione answer with her head facing down.

"What? Since when?!" Ron exclaimed.

"Uh, I guess since we kissed on the train."

"Bloody hell Hermione! Don't tell me like him too?" Hermione still hung her head, not responding. "You do! Why? After all those times he called you a Mudblood?" Ron questioned.

"Ron, listen, I'll be the first to admit that Malfoy was a jerk the entire six years here at Hogwarts. And I'll also be the first to admit that he's loyalties lie with Voldemort. But he has a kind heart. He is a good man. I truly believe if he hadn't been born into the family he was that he wouldn't choose to follow Voldemort. But with that being said, those aren't the circumstances. Malfoy, as sweet as he is, will never be Harry. He knows that this is just a silly crush."

"Does Harry know about this, your feelings for Malfoy?"

"He does. And that's where the problem lies. You know Sarah? Well she told Harry about this extremely innocent crush, and made it out to be way more than it is. And I'm not sure exactly when this happened, whether is was before or after he heard about Malfoy, but Harry is cheating on me with her."

"No! Harry wouldn't do that."

"That's what I would have always thought. But I saw them together. I heard it with my own ears. I feel like my whole world is falling apart!" She responded with tears now streaming down her face.

"Oh, Hermione, I'm so sorry." Ron said pulling her into a hug. "Do you want me to go punch him in the face?" He asked halfway joking, halfway serious. Hermione wiped her tears a let out a chuckle.

"No, but thanks Ron. Harry doesn't even know that I know about him and Sarah and I want to keep it that way."

"Why?"

"Because I actually want this relationship to work still. I'm going to do everything that I can to make it so he doesn't want her anymore."

"Harry's my best mate but you deserve better than how he's treating. But, and don't think I'm taking his side, he probably feels just as hurt about you and Malfoy, as you are about him and Sarah."

lllll

Hermione knew Ron was probably right. Harry probably felt betrayed too. Maybe her relationship with Harry fell apart the moment she is kissed Draco. Maybe this was her fault. But she couldn't stop being friends with Draco. Not now. She cared for him, and needed his help with sex.

"Oh my gosh! You should have seen it." Hermione turned as she heard a group of girls jabbering in the hall. "He just burst into the room and yelled at me and Kay to get out. It was so sexy how assertive he was."

"Yeah, it really was hot. I wish Draco would come for me like that." Another girl, who Hermione assumed was Kay, blabbed out.

"And like at first we didn't know why he was there, so we stood by the door to listen in. And after a couple minutes we heard Pansy moaning. She was so loud, so you know it must have been amazing."

Hermione couldn't listen anymore. She turned and ran to her room. She contemplated the idea that she would never leave her common room again, since all the bad news seamed to be revealed when she was in the halls. The thought of Draco with Pansy made her feel sick. To her knowledge he was already having sex with Sarah, which infuriated her to no end, but now Pansy too. Her heart hurt.

When she entered the painting she threw herself onto the couch and curled up in the fetal position. She tried to fight her tears from coming. But she couldn't. Hermione knew that she had no claim to Draco, he wasn't hers. But she couldn't fathom the thought of him with anyone else.

"Maybe this isn't just a silly crush." She whispered to herself.

"Why haven't you told her?!" Sarah exclaimed.

"I don't know. I guess I just didn't want to scare her."

"Seriously Drake! You saved her life. Do you know how laid that could get you? Everyone loves a hero."

"I'm not a hero, and neither is my family. We are villains, as dark as they come. I don't think me saving her will make a difference considering my father was the one who poisoned her. She knows I am loyal to my father."

"What you need is to be loyal to her, and not out fucking Pansy."

"Granger told me that what's between me and her is just a silly crush, so I'm done trying."

"After all that we did last night?! You're just done trying? Bullshit Drake. Saddle up and get your girl."

"Sar, I don't have it in me anymore. She's not dead, we saved her. There's nothing else for me to do. You're going to have to try and keep Potter with Granger in the picture, I'm not pursuing her anymore."

"Okay." Sarah said nodding her head in understanding.

"I'm going to head back to my room, I'm beat. I'll see you in class tomorrow." He pulled her into a hug. "And thanks for last night."

Draco entered his common room to see Hermione sitting on the couch. He could tell she had been crying from her red puffy eyes. He wanted to just walk by, to ignore the state she was in. He said he was done. But his heart couldn't take seeing her like that.

"What's wrong Granger?" Draco asked sitting next to her on the couch.

"I've just been having a bad day." She responded not looking at him.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"Let's not talk about me." Hermione said attempting to perk up her mood so Draco couldn't see how upset she was. "So, I heard some gossip today. You and Pansy, huh?"

"That got around fast." Draco said running his hand through his hair. "Yeah, me and Pansy had some meaningless sex. It was fun. I haven't done that in a while."

"So you have feelings for Sarah then?"

"What? Where did you get that idea from?"

"Well you said you haven't had meaningless sex in a while and I know you and Sarah have been having sex. Deductive reasoning leads me to believe that the sex that you are having with Sarah is meaningful."

"Granger. You read too much into that. Honestly me and Sarah are friends and I do care about her, but it's not like that." Draco knew he couldn't tell her that him and Sarah never actually had sex because then he would have to explain why they pretended to have sex so Hermione and Harry would overhear it.

"I don't even understand how you are friends with her. She is such a slut. And honestly I think she's a manipulative bitch." Hermione stated becoming flustered. Draco stood up. Hermione then stood up as well.

"Look I'm not going to sit here and bash Sarah with you. You have no clue about what a good friend she is and how she's gone out of her way to help someone she doesn't even like."

"Well how else am I supposed to feel about her? She's sleeping with my boyfriend." Hermione said begin to yell.

"Let's not forget your precious boyfriend is sleeping with her too. If you're mad at anyone, you should be mad at him! He's the one that's supposed to be faithful. This is the person you guys put your all your faith and hope in. It's pathetic." Draco screamed back. Suddenly he felt Hermione's hand connect with his face. She had a shocked look on her face, as if she hadn't meant to slap him, and immediately began to apologize. Draco just ignored her.

"Goodnight Granger." Draco said trying to hold in his anger as he walked up to their bedroom.
