I might not use Sam, since CrackersKay brought up a good point that it might be confusing. Maybe at a later date if I can think of a few ideas for her, but I don't know.
Cat might seem a little more mature in this fic, and there's a moment where she tricks Nona. Just a warning.

"What time's your date?" Nona asks Cat as Cat finishes her make up.
"Seven. He's picking me up in a half hour." Cat says, taking the curlers out of hair, letting the red curls drop around her shoulders.
"Where are you going?" Nona asks, being more curious than Cat expected, not knowing that Jade put her up to it.
"To a restaurant called Illustrious. It's a new place that opened up where Wok Star used to be." Cat answers, taking her pink robe off, showing her strapless nude bra and matching panties. "Where's the dress I bought for mom and dad's anniversary dinner?" She asks, opening her closet and looking around.
"Which dinner? I don't remember attending an anniversary dinner." Nona asks, sitting on Cat's bed.
"It was canceled when Frankie had to go to the hospital when he ran out of meds and started singing opera at one in the morning with a loud speaker." Cat answers, searching for the dress.
"Oh, forgot about that. Check under your bed. I think you left it in the box." Nona responds, sitting up and moving aside.
"Thanks, Nona." Cat says, pulling the box out, setting it on her bed and opening it, taking out the light pink spaghetti strap dress that goes to just below her knees, and slides it on, turning so Nona can zip it for her. "My shoes are still in the kitchen, right?" She asks, heading to her desk to make sure her hair isn't messed up.
"Yeah. I'll go get them." Nona says, walking out of the room.
A few moments later, Nona returns with Cat's light pink shoes. "Thank you." Cat says with a smile, hugging Nona before sitting on her bed and putting the shoes on.
"What about after dinner? What is this boy planning?" Nona asks, sitting beside Cat.
"We're going to a movie. There's a new romantic comedy that came out last week that he's taking me to see." Cat says, standing up after finishing strapping both shoes. "Why are you asking so many questions?" She asks, grabbing her small clutch and putting a tube of lip gloss, small bottle of perfume, stick of gum, and her cell phone in.
"Oh, no reason." Nona responds, looking nervous at being called out.
"Why are you lying to me?" Cat asks, pulling out a pout.
"I'm not lying, I swear." Nona says, pulling Cat into a hug. "I'm just curious about this boy." She says, hugging Cat close.
"Did Jade put you up to this?" Cat mumbles through Nona's shirt.
"Wha-what? No. No one put me up to this." Nona says, not seeing the small smirk of Cat's at Nona's reaction.
"Then why do you want to know what all Freddie has planned?" Cat asks, pulling out of the hug.
"I'm just curious, that's all." Nona repeats. "I swear." She tries, seeing the look on Cat's face. "Okay, yes, Jade asked me to find out the see what Freddie might be planning for the night." She caves, sighing.
"I figured. She might not show it too much, but Jade is really protective of those she loves." Cat says with a smile, fixing her hair and grabbing the perfume from her clutch, spraying some before putting it back in the clutch.
"You're not mad?" Nona asks, slightly confused.
"That you asked and that Jade made you ask so much?" Cat asks, turning to face her Nona. "No, I'm not mad or anything. I'm grateful to have so many people care about me." She says, smiling.
Ten minutes later, Cat gets a call as she and Nona sit on the couch in the living room, a random movie playing on the t.v.
"Hello?" Cat says, answering her phone, a little surprised to see it's Tori calling.
"Hey, when's the date start?" Tori asks, sounding nervous.
"Is Jade watching you right now?" Cat asks, smiling a bit.
"Yeah. She made me call. She sent André and Beck to interrogate Freddie. If he's nervous, it's all her fault." Tori says, chuckling.
"Thanks for throwing me under the bus, babe." Cat hears Jade say faintly. "Tell Freddie if he does anything inappropriate, I'm killing him the way Daryl does the infected in 'The Walking Dead'." She says, loud enough for Cat to hear clearly.
"Kay kay." Cat says, smiling. "And thanks for caring so much." She says, a little loud for Jade to hear her.
The two hang up soon after, Cat laughing at how protective her friends are, knowing they went with Jade's plan because they wanted to.
Soo after, there's a knock at the door. Cat gets up to open it, smiling when she sees Freddie on the other side.
"Wow, you look gorgeous." Freddie says, his jaw dropped at the sight of Cat.
"Thank you. You look very handsome." Cat says, grabbing her clutch from the coat rack near the door. "See you later Nona." She says, hugging Nona bye and kissing her cheek.
"See you. I'll tell Jade how he came to the door and didn't act like a perv." Nona says, laughing.
The date will be next chapter. Sorry this was a bit shorter. I had to put in Jade's protectiveness, and I thought it'd be funny to see how she got everyone in on it. Since we never find out Cat's brother's name, I gave him the same name as Ariana Grande's brother.
