Well I'm back, hope you won't kill me. I did officially write 50K. I know, big accomplishment. I lost out on a lot of sleep though. But enough about me, let's talk story. I thought I'd lost complete motivation to continue this story. Honestly after writing 50K I was ready to just quit writing. But then my good friend Zack encouraged me… somehow and I finished this chapter. Yay!

Hopefully I can get back to some form of a regular update schedule. How many of you would like that? One person? Okay, whatever… it's still one person.

Percy POV

I got up next morning bright eyes and scaly, actually that was Xander, but the same general idea applied to me. I slid down the staircase bannister and hopped off at the bottom. Annabeth was waiting for me arms crossed.

"Honestly Percy, you act like you're six sometimes."

I grinned. "One of my many charms. Right?"

She sighed in exasperation and held out a letter that was sealed with wax and the shape of an owl pressed into it. "This was delivered by Austin early this morning."

I took it and read. "Mhm, interesting. Who was this sent by?" I turned the letter over and examined the seal. I ran my finger over the owl embossed in the wax. "It was Athena wasn't it?"

Annabeth nodded. "Nice detective work. So, what do you think?"

"It's written by the gods and more specifically your mom, I think obeying her is a good idea. Crispy Percy does not look good on the menu."

She laughed. "I suppose I wouldn't want to lose my boyfriend now. Shall we go?"

My stomach grumbled. "Uh, breakfast first? I think my stomach's shouting."

She snapped her fingers and a bowl of oatmeal appeared on the table. "There you go. Eat up." She smiled evilly.

I wrinkled my nose at the bowl. "Are you sure? I'm not exactly a fan of oatmeal. I like pancakes, blueberry in fact."

"Really Percy?" she asked. "This is going to make us so late." Seeing my face, she sighed and headed towards the kitchen to make some.

I trotted after her and kissed her cheek. "Yay! Pancakes!"

About 30 minutes later

I just finished stuffing my face with pancakes and leaned back in my chair, sighing with happiness.

She looked up from her scientific magazine. "You're welcome. Were there enough blueberries?"

"Oh definitely." I grinned.

She cringed and snapped her fingers, summoning a mirror. "Perce, take a quick peek at your teeth, you may have a couple bits of blueberry lodged in-between them."

I picked up the mirror and peered into it. Oooh, Annabeth was right. "Maybe I should brush before we go."

"If you insist. I'll just be here." She opened her magazine again and propped her feet on a chair.

I jogged upstairs and quickly brushed and flossed, making sure to get all the blueberry pieces out. I then scurried downstairs, checking my watch, almost 5 minutes… man Annabeth is going to kill me.

I found Annabeth the same way I had when I came down the first time, arms crossed and a tapping foot. "There you are Percy. I was beginning to worry you weren't coming down."

"And incur the wrath of my girlfriend, never." I held out my hand to Annabeth and she took it. "Okay, let's go meet the parents."

On Olympus

I flashed us onto the main street on Olympus. The muses were singing about our great defeat over Circe and how Annabeth and I came home after so many years. I led Annabeth to a house that looked suspiciously like my mom's apartment when we lived in New York; yep, definitely my mom's house. Annabeth caught her breath beside me.

"What's up? Looks like you've seen a ghost. You haven't have you?" I looked around nervously.

"No Percy." She pointed at the house next to my mom's. "Does that look familiar to you?"

I looked to where she was pointing and I did have to admit, the house did look an awfully lot like the house I visited on my third quest, the one belonging to Annabeth's father. "Huh, you think that's your dad's house?"

"I think so. Should we go say hello?"

I shook my head and gently shoved her towards the house. "You're going by yourself. I have to go get cookies." I rubbed my hands together and licked my lips.

She made her way up the path to the house and knocked on the door. It opened and Annabeth's dad stood there. He stayed there looking at her for a couple of seconds and then wrapped his arms around her. She hugged him back and they went into the house, shutting the door behind them.

I sighed with happiness and put my hands on my hips. This will all work out in the end, I'm sure. I made my way up to the door of my mom's house and rang the doorbell. My mom answered the door and gasped with surprise.

"Percy? Is that really you?"

I engulfed her in a hug and breathed in her scent of cookies and blue jelly beans. "Missed you mom."

From another part of the house, a voice called out, "Honey, who was at the door?" Paul came around the corner drying a plate. When he saw me, he dropped the plate and the dish rag on top of it. "Whoa! Percy, is that you? It's been ages!" he came over and tried his best to wrap his arms around both my mother and I.

We stayed there until my mom choked out, "Boys, I love you both, but I really can't breathe."

We let go and moved farther into the hallway, closing the door behind us. I sniffed the air. "Mom, were you making cookies?"

"I was." She smiled. "Fresh and buttery, right from the oven. They also have blue chocolate chips, a habit I never grew out of. Let me go get them. Paul, you and Percy can go sit in the living room, I'll be there in a moment." She hurried into the kitchen and Paul led me into the small sitting room. I looked around and noticed how all the furniture was the same from when my mom and I lived in the apartment for the first time. I would be severely worried if there was a slice mark on the couch from where I swung a javelin the wrong way.

"So Percy, how have you been?" Paul asked sitting down and fiddling with a knickknack on the table.

"I've been okay Paul. So, you're immortal?"

"Your dad vouched for me, seeing as I'm married to Sally… I mean your mom. He's a really nice guy by the way."

"Oh, cool." We lapsed into a comfortable silence until my mom came in with a steaming platter cookies. I squealed and took several, my eyes widening as the cookies semi- burnt my mouth. "HOT! HOT!" I yelled around my bite of cookie.

My mom produced a glass of milk and handed it to me. "Percy, patience."

I gulped down the milk and panted. "Thanks mom, can't be patient when it comes to your cookies." I blew on the rest of the cookies and took another bite. "Mmm, perfect."

Mom picked up a cup of coffee and cupped it in her hands. "So, Percy. Tell me how you've been for the past 300 years."

"Well…" I began.

Roughly an hour and a half later

"…And that sums up the past 300 years of my life, you know… roughly." I bite down on a cooled cookie and smiled at my mom. "So, enough about me, how about you?" Before mom could answer, my watch beeped and a mini holographic Chaos appeared floating above the surface.

"Hey Percy, I've gotten several messages from your teammates, something about a food fight and now, some people want to kill some other people, I suggest you and Annabeth head back to the cabin to smooth things over. Bye!" the figure sank back into the watch. Mom looked at me curiously.

"Was that your leader honey?"

I nodded. "This sounds a little serious. He didn't mention names, but I suspect its Henry against James and Sam, which is never a good combination." I stood and pecked her on the cheek. "I love you mom. Maybe you can tell be what you've been up to later."

She got up and hugged me. "I love you too son. Be safe."

"Aren't I always mom?" I blew her another kiss and flashed to camp, sending a telepathic message to Annabeth to join me at the cabin. We arrived at the same time, well… technically, Annabeth landed on top of me and we collapsed in a heap.

She sat up, giggling. "Wow, Percy. Nice entrance. And thank you for breaking my fall."

I pushed her off and grunted. "Lay off the food Wise Girl, you're heavy!" I complained.

She crossed her arms. "Are you calling me fat?" she demanded.

"Of course not." I replied hastily. I stood and brushed myself off. I then offered Annabeth my hand and she stood up too.

"Sometimes Percy, you are completely infuriating."

I smirked. "Only sometimes? Come on, let's go stop a food fight."

Well, done. Hope you liked. Send me your thoughts, questions, general discontent, whatever in a review of PM. Yay! Also , if there are any mistakes, please excuse me, I haven't used this sites format in a while.
