What's up? Man I'm tired. So, sorry for not updating. I've been busy editing a story for my Alpha and schoolwork, which is sort of a lame excuse, but it's the best one I have. Not an overwhelming reception to this story, so expect less frequent updates, though I am on break so I might be able to crank out another chapter. Well hope you enjoy!

Annabeth POV

Meanwhile…

After Percy shoved me towards my dad's house, I walked up the path and rang the doorbell. As I waited, I shifted from foot to foot nervously. The door swung open and there my dad stood. Blond hair still there and his brown eyes still sparkling. I stood there for a moment, and then he hugged me.

"Oh Annabeth. You've come home." He said, stroking my hair. "Please, come inside." He released me and stepped aside to allow me entry into the home.

I stepped in and dad shut the door behind me. I looked around and took note of every detail. It looked exactly like the home he had in California, but there was something off. "Hey dad? Where's my step-mother or brothers?"

He looked up from a model plane, surprised. "Huh? Oh they died quite a while ago. About 45 years for your step- mother and 55 for your brothers."

"Oh, why weren't they made immortal like you?"

Dad set down the plane and walked into the living room. "In here Annabeth." He called. "Let's talk over some snacks."

I came into the room and found a plate of chocolate chip cookies and juice laid out on the coffee table. Dad was seated in a lounge chair and pointed at the food. "I know the cookies aren't as good as your step- mothers', but I think they're all right. At least they shouldn't be dangerous." He chuckled lightly. "And please, sit. I want to hear everything that happened to you."

I sat gently on the edge of the couch and picked up a cookie. I bit into it and smiled. "Not bad dad. Where should I begin?"

"From the beginning. Well, after the giant war at least."

I sighed. "Well, we won the war, obviously, and then we came home. Made repairs to both camps and we parted ways. After that, it was the end of the summer. Percy headed back into the city and I stayed at camp to help with the rebuilding. One day, really close to the beginning of summer, a new camper arrived and his name was Jerome. At first he was nice, likable… you know. A long time later, I found out that the day Percy came back, I was drugged and was forced into being in love with him. Percy ran away and a long time later I was accused of aiding the enemy. I was exiled and rescued by Chaos and Percy a little time afterwards." I clasped my hands together and looked at him. "And that was pretty much what happened."

"So, who was the threat? I'm afraid I'm not quite up-to-date with current events."

"It turned out to be Circe. And Jerome and Drew as her minions."

"Drew? That crazy girl with all that makeup?"

I nodded and laughed. "The very same. Now tell me, what happened to my brothers?"

Dad sat back and looked thoughtful for a moment. "Ah right, your brothers. Well, both Bobby and Chase grew up quite nicely, but they didn't understand why you never visited. I reassured them that since you were a goddess now, you wouldn't have time for family visits."

I gasped and placed a hand to my mouth. "Dad, I'm so sorry for not telling you I was a goddess."

He waved it off. "No matter. I got the news from Hermes, but I would've liked the news from you." He looked at me meaningfully.

I nodded vigorously. "Next time something life threatening happens, I'll be sure to tell you."

He smiled gently. "That's all I ask. Now where was I? Oh yes, so a little time later, Athena came to me and offered me immortality. She said that I might be able to see you once in a while. She brought me before Lord Zeus and he turned me immortal, not a god, mind you... but still undying. Then she gave me a home here and Percy's parents joined me as neighbors soon after. I couldn't visit my wife and sons without a special cause, so I just lost contact with the world that wasn't Olympus." He sighed. "But what's done is done."

I pulled my hair back and looked at my dad. "Well, you haven't lost me yet." I scooted to the end of the couch and placed my hands over his.

I smiled at me gratefully. Suddenly, he stood up and grinned like a madman. "Anna. Do you want to see what I've been working on for the past 250 years?" Without waiting for an answer, he pulled me up and led me to a small room at the end of a hallway. He went inside and threw both arms to his sides. "My greatest project ever!" He skipped around a table that occupied most of the room and examined a scene from WW1. "Isn't it glorious?"

I smiled at his happiness and we started to discuss the historical aspect of the war. As the sun went down, a loud boom was heard and shook the entire house, knocking down the entire war scene and making things fall from shelves.

I dropped to the floor and shielded my head just in case. When the shaking was over, I stood up shakily and looked at my dad. I think his expression mirrored mine: shock and confusion. "What was that?" I asked.

My dad shrugged. "I don't know honey, but it definitely wasn't Lord Zeus. He uses lightning, and there was no light from what I could tell."

I snapped my fingers and the room reassembled itself. "There we go dad."

He kissed the top of my head. "Thanks Anna. Would've taken me weeks to redo that scene."

Internally, a message came in from Percy telling me to meet him at the cabin, and something about a food fight as well. I bid goodnight to dad and flashed out of the house and outside the cabin, promptly landing on Percy. He groaned and I knocked him to the floor and I giggled.

He pushed me off and grunted. "Lay off the food Wise Girl, you're heavy!" He complained.

I crossed my arms. "Are you calling me fat?"

"Of course not." He replied. He stood and brushed himself off, offering his hand to me afterwards.

"Sometimes Percy, you are completely infuriating." I told him.

He smirked. "Only sometimes? Come on, let's go stop a food fight."

Well, hope you like. I've introduced the threat, what it is will be will be for you to find out. Lol. If you have any questions or comments, leave it in the review section. I'd love to hear them.
