Ah, first person once again. This feels nice. So, completely failed math, but that's to be expected. I hope you guys haven't forgotten me! Don't worry I'm still here, I just have other things to do, but I won't leave the story unfinished. Yeah… So I hope you enjoy the chap. which is kind of a custom one for my good buddy Zackman54. Uh, what else… yes, can you please tell me how I'm doing? I have no indication on how well I'm doing, and I really would like to know that. Thanks :)

Jessie POV

I woke up the day after the big meeting completely bored. I honestly had no idea what to do today. Maybe Sam or Percy will have ideas.

I slid out of bed and into the bathroom, lathering shampoo into my Mohawk and then rinsing it out. I pulled on jeans and a semi-clean shirt and headed downstairs. When I got down there, I heard some kind of commotion coming from the kitchen.

"Hey guys? Everything okay in there?" I called. I walked in and found flour all over the floor, the smell of burned toast in the air and Henry sitting at the table trying to lick some butter off his elbow.

"Hey, Jessie. You're just in time to help me clean up." Sam called from the stove. She waved her spatula in the air and beckoned me over. When I got over there, she tossed a rag at me and pointed at the dough covered counter.

I sighed and started scrubbing. While I was getting a particularly large piece of batter off the counter, I asked Sam the question that was on my mind a few minutes ago. "Sam, what should I do? I've become bored."

She looked up from her task and looked thoughtful. "Train." She said simply. "That's what I do when I'm bored."

"Train? You sure?"

She nodded. "Yeah. Plus, you could beat up some campers. Always makes me feel better." She laughed and patted me on the back. "You look like you could do with some cheering up. Ah, that counter looks much better. Thanks." She rummaged around in an overhead cabinet and pulled out a breakfast bar. "Here, eat this. You look hungry and I think you've helped enough." She walked over to Henry and wiped the butter off Henry's elbow. "You idiot. Come wash dishes. It was your breakfast that caused this mess after all."

He sighed and stood, grumbling about unfair treatment and getting her back later.

I forced a small smile and walked out of the kitchen, munching on the bar. I passed by a small alcove where Percy and Annabeth were sitting. They were sitting close together and whispering in hushed tones. I passed quickly by them and out the cabin doors. I headed up the path that eventually led to the arena. As I walked, I stared at the ground, lost in thought. Just by chance, I happened to bump into someone and knock them down.

"Hey watch where you're going!" The person shouted. "Oh, it's you."

I looked down and groaned internally; it was the girl I met on the first day I arrived. "Uh, yeah. What's up?"

She stood up and her eyes narrowed. She folded her arms and looked me up and down. She rested her eyes on my hair and started giggling.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

She covered her mouth to stifle her giggles. "It's your hair." She said.

I brushed the top of my Mohawk with my hand, nope. Still felt as amazing as ever. I glared at her. "There's nothing wrong with it!"

She reached into the side of her boot and pulled out a knife; the same one she stole from me the first day I met her. "Here, look at yourself."

I took the knife and lifted it to observe my hair. Instead of its usual black, my hair was a bright red color. "What the-" I continued to stare at the red mass on top of my head. "Do you know who did this?" I demanded.

She shook her head and continued to giggle. Then she paused. "Well, maybe the Hermes kids. They're always looking for someone to prank." She snatched the knife from me and replaced it in her boot. "If I were to guess, it would most likely be the Stoll twins. I'll see you and if you want the knife back, remember the first task." She spun around and ran past me to the Volleyball courts.

I shook my head and thought, who is that girl? I tried to get that out of my head as I continued to the arena. When I got there, the Hermes, Apollo, and Athena cabins were already there, practicing.

A young Hermes camper came up to me. "Hey, you're Jessie right?"

I nodded. "Yeah, why?"

"My siblings and I thought your hair was funny looking." He laughed halfway through the statement.

I death glared him and marched over to the group of Hermes campers. "Where are the Stoll twins?"

Two boys stepped forward. They both had unruly heads of curly brown hair, upturned eyes and shifty smiles. If I stared hard enough, one boy was shorter than the other by a little.

"I'm Conner." Said the shorter of the two. "What's up?"

I pointed to my hair. "Mind explaining this situation."

The taller one chuckled. "Ah, so it did work." The brothers high-fived.

"My Mohawk is very precious to me." I pulled out one of my two swords and pointed it at Conner. "And I would very much like it returned it to normal."

Conner pulled out a small red bottle. "What do you say Travis? Should we give it to him?" His eyes gleamed. "I don't think we should."

I huffed and moved my blade slightly, lightly cutting his arm that held the bottle.

Conner dropped the bottle and clutched his arm. "Ow dude! Not cool! Why does it hurt so much? It's only a little scratch."

While his siblings gathered around him and examined the wound, I snatched up the bottle and pocketed it. "Oh, that cut will be fine… most likely. Well, actually… the blade is Stygian Iron. Maybe you should get treated." I smirked and walked out of the arena without even training. Sam was right, beating up campers did make me feel a little better.

I wandered around the camp and thought to myself 'These campers are totally unprepared. Will we even have the strength to defeat Loki?' I shook my head, riding myself of those thoughts and turned my focus in another direction: figuring out that girl's name.
