Yes I am trying to make up for my long absence. i am not sure what happened with the previous chapter 15 I posted but it was all out of whack. So I am reposting it. I am working on chapter 16 and hope to get it up before Wednesday. These chapters are the turning point for Callie and Arizona so I am really trying to get it right. Finally I post all three characters because even though this will end up Callica, Arizona will still be a part of the story. The same will happen when I write the Calzone ending. This is CALLICA endgame. If you want Calzone come back for the Calzone ending of this story which I will be writing later. Other than that forward ladies and gents!
Callie brings her fist back and punches Lauren square in the face. When she does it again she breaks the other woman's nose. Callie hears the satisfying crack. However, Lauren's amount of crazy almost equally matches Callie's anger. The blonde grabs Callie's hair and pulls She stays behind Callie out of her reach only enraging the brunette more.
Arizona checks her watch. She is a little behind schedule but has enough time to change. She rushes into the attending's lounge and pulls out a spare change of clothes. A piece of paper falls from her folder clothes. She catches it just before it hits the floor. She can smell Callie's perfume coming off of it and smiles wide. She opens the piece of paper and finds Callie;s hand writing expressing her love. It is dated a few days before. She pockets the note and hurries to get ready.
Callie throws her body weight back and catches Lauren off guard and roughly crushes the blonde between herself and the car. Lauren releases her hair the wind knocked out of he and hunches over gasping for air. Callie turns quickly and brings her knee up and into the other woman's stomach bringing the woman to her knees. Callie drags her up to her feet again and the blonde takes the chance to dig her nails in to Callie's skin creating long scratches down the brunette's arms. This does little to deter the orthopedic surgeon. Callie delivers an open palm slap that rattles the blonde. It is not what she had intended to do but Callie is far to angry to care. She readies to deliver another blow when she feels a sharp pain on her thigh.
Arizona checks her appearance in the mirror again fixing her hair for what seems to be about the tenth time. The attending lounge door opens and Alex walks in Sofia, Zola, and Tuck trailing behind him. Arizona laughs and turns to face Alex. "How did you get kid duty?" Alex rolls his eyes and shrugs his shoulders.
"Beats me how I got all the little monsters." Alex makes a face at the kids causing the girls to giggle and Tuck to smile in spite of himself. Alex pulls his jacket on and starts walking to the door ushering the kids along. Sofia pulls away and runs up to Arizona reaching her arms up to her.
"Kiss momma!" Arizona smiles down at her daughter and gives her daughter multiple kisses on the check.
"You go with uncle Alex now and me and mommy will see you soon." No sooner are the words out of her mouth Sofia has returned to the little group and grabbed Zola's hand in hers.
"Bye momma!" Sofia calls as she walks out the door.
"Bye baby." Arizona calls back.
"See you and Callie later?" Alex asks. Arizona nods.
"Yeah, she should be here soon to pick me back up."
"Good I have to go or I will never hear the end of it form Jo about being late. Tuck stop jumping off the chair!" Alex calls as he closes the door. Arizona smiles and checks herself once more in the mirror. Time to go see her wife.
"Callie looks down and finds blood seeping from a gash. Lauren flashes a piece of glass from her broken car window and slashes Callie's arm before she can move away. Lauren looks at her with a sinister smile fully aware that she now has the upper hand. Callie watches her blood drip from her fingertips. Just pass where her blood is landing on the pavement she sees the baseball bat nestled between the grass and pavement. She knows she needs to get to that bat. Callie eyes widen in fear looking just past Lauren. Lauren's head whips around searching for anyone or thing that could put that kind of fear in a person's eyes. The blonde searches the area around her frantically. It takes the blonde a few seconds to realize that she has been had. Lauren turns to find Callie running towards the discarded bat. Lauren re adjusts the piece of glass in her hand and runs after Callie.
"Arizona paces in the lobby. Callie is five minutes late and while that is not completely usual for her wife Arizona can't seem to shake the feeling in the pit of her stomach. She checks her watch again six minutes late.
"Callie's hand makes contact with the Handel just as she feels another sharp pain on the back of her shoulder. Callie screams in pain and frustration swinging the bat around and faces Lauren. her blood on the blonde's hands. She swings the bat around full force and connects with Lauren's rib cage. For the second time she hears a satisfying crack. Lauren screams and slumps over holding her side the piece of glass with Callie's blood falls to the ground. Callie walks up to the woman and grabs her by her hair. She pulls Lauren inches away from her face intent on ending this.
"Come on Callie pick up your phone. For the second time her call goes straight to voice mail. Callie is now ten minutes late and is not picking up her phone. Arizona throws her phone into her purse and starts walking to the employee parking lot. The blonde feels like something is wrong and she can only hope she is wrong.
"Remember this moment, Remember the pain that you feel here today because if you come near my family again the pain you feel right now will pale in comparison. Do you understand?" Callie asks the other woman. Blood is gushing from the other woman's nose. She sputters in an attempt to speak but she eventually gives up and manages to nod her head. "Good." Callie replies and releases Lauren form her hold, the other woman stumbles and falls back to the ground in a heap.
"Callie wants to cause this woman more pain. she wants her to feel the way she did the moment she realized Arizona had cheated on her. The humiliation and pain it had caused her and her wife. The fear and agony they both endured when she took their child. However the though of how badly she could hurt the other woman stops her. Words echo in Callie's head from the last time she found her self in a similar situation with the woman still on the ground. She 's not worth all the damage she might do to her life if she took out all the anger Callie had for this woman so, she steps back and attempts to take a calming adrenaline is starting to wear off and Callie can feel the throbbing start, and the blood seeping through the gashes one her body
"Callie?" The brunette turns at the familiar call of her name. Callie starts to stagger but is caught before her legs give out.
