Author's Note

Alright guys, so in case you haven't figured it out, Spirit's Life Part II will be taking place with the Joes (GI Joe: Rise of Cobra and GI Joe: Retaliation). It will take place about six months after she joins the Army with Duke and Ripcord, so she won't know about Ana and Rex.

I hope you guys liked Part I enough to read Part II, and I can't wait to see how you guys react to Spirit being a Joe. ;) Thanks for everything, my faithful readers, and I'm really excited to continue with Spirit's story.

Virginia l: That would definitely be interesting! I'll admit that I haven't watched OUAT, but if you want to give me a few episodes you think would be best for her to go into, I'd be more than happy to try. :)

Thanatos77: She's definitely joining the Joes, don't worry. And if I remember correctly, Snake Eyes also has a pet wolf named Timber. Hmmm . . . . ;)

HextheDaydreamer: I can't thank you enough for your continued support throughout all of my stories. :) Yeah, I definitely couldn't stay away from the Joes; it's one of my favorite series, and I just found out that they might be releasing a third movie in 2016. Fingers-crossed!

Thanks again you guys for your support! And for my grand exit, here's the synopsis for Spirit's Life 2:

My name cannot be pronounced by the human tongue, but you may call me Spirit. If you don't know who I am, then here is part of my story. My story began a few years ago with the X-Men, when I was found by Logan (aka Wolverine) on the side of the road after I escaped from the scientists that had held me captive. I'm a mutant of mutants. I was born a wolf, experimented on to become the ultimate shapeshifting weapon; I wasn't as willing as I was supposed to be. I made and lost friends at the X-Mansion, and I needed to get away for awhile after I was possessed by Phoenix, Jean Grey's alter ego, I guess you could say. Logan helped me get into the Army as a German Shepherd dog. I was made a partner of a man who went by the name of Duke and, by default, his friend Ripcord.

Life's been good for the past six months. I felt satisfied, happy even. I saw combat, I got to fight, and I got to be with the people I liked the most. I may not have been able to shift, but I was still doing what I loved.

I should have known better. Nothing good lasts forever.
