There has been a little change in my plans, this chapter will be focused on a certain section of the story while the other section will be probably shown in the next chapter.

Chapter 30

In My Time of Dying

She stared at the missing ninja in front of her, his murderous eyes could be seen observing her and the rest of the company. Mikasa didn't know what Kisame was doing here, as far as she knew this man had defected from Kiri a long time ago.

Then why was he here defending a part of Kiri's territory? It just didn't make any sense, but there was one thing she was sure about...and that was,

Kisame's desire to kill each and every ninja of her company along with her.

But what was she supposed to do? He was an S-rank ninja, was she even strong enough to defeat him?

"Charge"

Mikasa was quite shocked when a couple of ninja jumped on the missing shinobi, but Kisame quickly jumped in the air and took them down in a flash.

THUD THUD THUD THUD

She freezed in shock as the bodies of her ninja fell lifeless in front of her, that man had sliced her ninja like vegetables. These ninja were her responsibility and now 4 of them were dead, and she couldn't do anything to save them.

"I can sense your fear...let's make this more enjoyable," said Kisame manically, as he looked at the scared Konoha ninja.

Without another word he quickly sped towards the enemy ninja and raised his sword to slice them in half.

CLANG

Kisame got a small smirk on his face, when his sword was effectively parried by Mikasa's kunai as the girl's calm blue eyes glared at him coldly.

"You will be fighting me." said Mikasa murderously, and quickly tried to give a roundhouse kick to her opponent.

But Kisame quickly back flipped away as an excited grin emerged on his face, this girl had some guts...maybe she would be a little more tougher than the other weaklings.

"That's not fair, shark face...let's even the battle,"

Mikasa was quite surprised when Iwashi arrived right beside her, and the boy was not alone because Anko and Shizune were right beside him.

"Sorry for arriving late...this stupid woman had almost shit her panties," said Iwashi jokingly as he pointed an accusing finger at Anko.

BAM

Every ninja in the area were left gobsmacked when Anko smashed Iwashi flat on the ground, and for once she was grateful for the damn Blacklight mask or else everybody would have seen how embarrassed she was.

She was the tough bitch Anko-sama!

How dare that idiot spoil her reputation...

"Eh, Snake...I think you went a little overboard," said Shizune hesitantly, as she helped the poor boy get up while Anko was in her own dream world.

"I don't know how you deal with these idiots everyday..." thought Mikasa tiredly, as her eyes were fixed on their opponent who was observing each and every one of them carefully.

"Blacklight, combination K" yelled Mikasa loudly, and almost 30 of her best men jumped towards Kisame.

All the blacklight troopers quickly fired multiple kunai and shuriken straight at Kisame, but the man quickly took out his sword and started deflecting all the projectiles aimed at him effortlessly.

But Kisame's eyes widened in shock, when all the 30 Blacklight quickly encircles around him and performed a set of hand seals.

"Shīrutekunikkudāku-en no keisei (Sealing Technique: Dark Black Formation)"

A large dark colored barrier was formed all around him as the 4 kids he had seen earlier quickly jumped inside and glared at him murderously. Did they seriously think they would be able to defeat him?

"A diversionary tactic, do you really think you can trap me here forever? All of you will soon run out of chakra...and then I will cut you in half," said Kisame darkly, and his opponents quickly took out their weapons.

But Kisame did something unexpected and quickly performed a set of hand seals, and 40 water clones emerged everywhere in the barrier with the same cocky grin on their faces.

"He really is a chakra monster, this is going to be a pain in the ass," said Iwashi tiredly, as his comrades agreed with him.

"Commander, leave the fodder to us, keep the original engaged until we finish these guys off," said Anko quickly as she readied her tanto.

"Remember, we need to take him down quickly. This barrier will keep on absorbing our chakra with every passing second, the same goes for him too. But his sword can provide him chakra, one way or another we have to stop him or die trying...because if he gets out, then he'll use Kakashi's company as cover and kill all of us with his silent technique," advised Mikasa briefly, as her soldiers listened to her a little more seriously.

"Hai"

CLANG

Mikasa quickly deflected a torrent of kunai aimed at her squad, as her dark blue eyes glared at her opponents coldly.

"Very well..."

The young kunoichi quickly performed a set of hand seals, as the entire air in the barrier started to run wildly. The water clones and even the real Kisame among the crowd was not able to understand just what was the girl up to.

"Kill them all." said Kisame loudly, and all his water clones charged straight towards the 4 young troopers.

"Let's go Snake, Mouse" said Iwashi seriously, as Anko and Shizune quickly charged towards their enemy.

"Fuuton Atsugai (Wind Release: Pressure Damage Jutsu)"

Before the trio could even intercept the enemy they were literally shocked when more than half of the water clones were destroyed as strong gusts of invisible wind sliced them to tiny pieces.

"The rest are yours...handle them," said Mikasa quickly, and charged right towards the real Kisame.

"Hot damn..."

Iwashi and the others were just baffled with her power, now they really believed when Naruto said Mikasa was stronger than all the other Blacklight members.

He looked at his opponent in shock, his mind could still not accept the fact that this woman was his enemy. She was supposed to be dead...

Did Mikoto lie to him? Did his father lie to him?

Naruto clearly remembered her from the picture he once saw in his parent's store room. In that photo there was Jiraiya, along with Minato, Mikoto and Kushina.

He had asked his parents about her, and they had curtly said she had died on an Anbu mission.

It seemed it was far from the truth...plus she had that foul chakra that only Jinchuriki possessed due to their Biju. The amount of hatred, anger, and rage that was emanating from her body was more than anything he had felt before.

It was so powerful that it took all of his men down in mere seconds.

And Konoha only possessed the Nine Tails, the mysteries started to become more clear. So, she was Konoha's Jinchuriki.

The slashed Konoha headband on her head showed him all the answers he wanted...she was now a traitor of Konoha.

"Are you Kushina Uzumaki?" asked Naruto flatly, but the women just looked at him blankly with her dark violet eyes.

No fear, no hesitation, no feelings...her eyes were just dead, it was as if nothing mattered to her.

Meanwhile Kushina looked at her opponent, long silky blonde hair, a strong body and the Phoenix mask on his face. This was just a 14 year old boy, but he was a threat to their plans and he had to be stopped.

Nobody could stand in the way of peace...not her friends, nor her family, nor any young kids.

"Now that the war's begun names don't matter. Kushina, traitor, monster...call me anything you like," said Kushina stoically, as she swiftly fired a couple of kunai and shuriken at Naruto.

But the boy quickly reacted and deflected the projectiles, but he was shocked when she fired another round of her shuriken and they were just about to strike Izumo.

SPLASH!

Kushina was surprised when Naruto took the projectiles aimed for Izumo on his back while protecting the unconscious boy with his own body. And this brought her painful memories of her past...as he reminded her of someone.

"You're pathetic, I thought you were a skilled commander and here you are trying to save a normal shinobi" said Kushina disappointingly, the boy coughed up a little blood from his mouth.

"The only one who is pathetic is you, they are not just soldiers...they are my family. Fight me" said Naruto bitterly as he quickly took out the shuriken from his back.

Kushina looked at the boy, there was something about him that seemed so familiar. She was seeing him for the first time in her life, yet deep down she felt as if she knew this boy since ages.

She also noticed how protective he was of his soldiers, they were only a liability to him now but even then he wanted to protect them at the cost of his own life.

"Why? Why do you fight for them? There are no friends in this world...the only thing that exists is misery and hatred," said Kushina angrily, her life was a prime example of these facts...this boy was naive and delusional.

Naruto quickly took out of his tanto as his sharingan came to life, and he was intrigued when Kushina's eyes widened on seeing his eyes. It seemed she didn't know all about his powers...

"A Blonde Uchiha?" thought Kushina in shock, everything was going haywire.

What the hell was going on, Uchiha were retards who never showed their emotions, and when the hell a Blonde Uchiha was born in this world.

"I fight for them because you never give up on family, no matter what!''

Those words shook the red head to the core, it had been years since she heard those words...and there was only one person in the entire world who had said those words once.

"Minato..."

(With Mikasa)

The sound of battles echoed in the small barrier as Mikasa stared at her opponent, as far as she knew Kisame was skilled in water style and kenjutsu. It would be foolish to say she could defeat him with her tanto, her lightning style could be used as an advantage but her chakra had limits...besides the barrier was slowly consuming everyone's chakra.

If she used too much ninjutsu, she would be dead in minutes...that only left,

She was brought of her thoughts when Kisame performed a set of hand seals, and his mouth widened to tremendous extent.

"Here it comes," thought Mikasa sharply, as she performed her own set of hand seals.

"Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Style: Violent Water Wave)"

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu(Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu)"

Mikasa released a large fireball from her mouth which quickly collided with the violent water wave that sent a large wave of mist across the entire barrier, and now the girl realized she had been tricked.

"You did that on purpose.." said Mikasa bitterly,

"Oh, you are a smart one, though I would have to thank you for helping me set up my 'Kirigakure No Jutsu'," said Kisame victoriously, and Mikasa hissed in pain as she felt something sharp shredding the tip of her left hand.

"Shit, he didn't want to waste his chakra, so he fired his water attack hoping I would counter it with Fire style. Then he used a mild amount of his chakra and converted the boiling water to mist. This guy's dangerous.." thought Mikasa tactfully,

"Samehada likes your chakra girl...it's over for you now," taunted Kisame deviously, as his voice echoed across the entire barrier.

"EAGLE!"

Iwashi quickly performed a set of hand seals as the entire mist started to get absorbed in the small piece of paper that he had placed on the ground.

It was Kisame's turn to be surprised now as the mist quickly started to dissipate, and the next moment he was shocked when 3 Mikasa's jumped right on top of him.

Kisame quickly swinged his sword at the 3 girls but they disappeared even before he could hit them,

"Bunshin" thought Kisame angrily, the girl was playing with him.

"Magen:Narakumi no Jutsu(Demonic Illusion:Hell Viewing Technique)"

"Why did you do this to me?" asked a young Kiri kunoichi,

"You are a monster,"

"Traitor"

Kisame was now really pissed as the people from his past started showing up around him, men, women, children. He had killed all of them and now they were trying to kill him.

"KAI!"

The illusions quickly disappeared as Kisame released a monstrous amount of chakra, this was it. No more playing around, these kids were dying right now.

He saw Mikasa standing in front of him, and the next second he jumped towards the girl but she was already prepared for it.

"Raigen Raikōchū (Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar)"

Kisame hissed in pain as a blinding white light blasted from Mikasa's body, it was as if the damn sun had appeared right in front of his face and that was his biggest mistake.

"Mouse!"

"Gah!"

He couldn't believe he was being pushed back, several senbon hit all over his body but it didn't stop there as he received a devastating kick on his face that sent him crashing on the ground.

Iwashi quickly took out a small tag as he saw Kisame falling right towards him, their plan had worked. Mikasa was a damn genius, and all of the remaining water clones had been destroyed and their enemy had no idea what hit him.

The boy jumped high in the air and his hands quickly moved to perform his attack, while his eyes were fixed on the large sword on Kisame's back.

"Fuuin Hyoushi no Jutsu (Binding Seal Technique)"

Kisame harshly kicked Iwashi as the boy was sent crashing on the ground, but the Akatsuki member was further shocked when Samehada stopped sending chakra to his body and became 10 times more heavier.

Without blinking for a second he quickly let loose the strap of his sword as it crashed loudly on the ground leaving a crater deep enough to bury 10 men.

He was now cautiously looking at 4 Blacklight shinobi in front of him, Tobi was not joking when he said they were stronger than any Anbu force of their world.

His opponents were panting harshly as the barrier was constantly draining their chakra too, these kids were really willing to sacrifice their own lives if it meant taking him down with them.

Either way he had to find a way to get out of this damn barrier.

Kisame's eyes shifted to Samehada that was lying stiff as a rock on the ground, he could not feel a thing from his sword. It was as if it had just shut down itself. And he glared at the boy standing beside the 3 Kunoichi.

"That boy seems to be a master in Fuinjutsu, the girl with the Mouse mask seems to be a medic...she cut off more than half of my chakra points so I could not use most of my chakra. The Snake masked bitch seems to be skilled in Taijutsu...while their leader is a Genjutsu specialist. They are something else," thought Kisame carefully,

Mikasa looked at her opponent harshly, he was still standing even after all of their lethal attacks. She looked at Shizune and the girl blinked 4 times which made her clear what she had to do now.

They had to hold Kisame off for 4 more minutes, her eyes shifted to her comrades. Iwashi was almost on the verge of collapsing, the boy had practically used all his chakra to seal off a powerful sword like Samehada.

But it had taken a toll on him, more than that his left hand and a part of his face was fractured due to Kisame's kick.

Anko was also panting harshly, the barrier was already taking a toll on them...but they had to hold Kisame off for 4 more minutes.

"Here he comes," said Shizune quickly as Kisame charged right towards them.

"I'll handle him with my Taijutsu, Mouse heal Weasel and Eagle while I keep this shark face at bay," said Anko quickly, and jumped straight towards Kisame.

Mikasa quickly stepped in front of Iwashi as Shizune stared healing the injured boy, her eyes were currently fixed on Anko who was trying her best to evade the enemy's powerful attacks.

Anko quickly dodged as Kisame tried to give her a right hook, she knew if any of his hits connected she was as good as dead. But Anko was skilled in Hebi style, she had speed and was able to dodge his attacks quickly.

However her eyes widened in horror, when another Kisame appeared behind her and attacked her in a flash,

"Die bitch!"

Kisame gave a harsh kick to Anko that sent her soaring high in the air, but the man didn't stop there as he punched her in the chest, followed by a elbow in the back as the girl hissed in pain,

"He can still create a shadow clone...Kuso," cursed Anko painfully, as many of her bones were broken one by one.

Anko was thrashed brutally on the ground as she coughed up a lot of blood, she hazily saw Kisame and his clone falling towards her.

But two razor sharp bolts of lightning fell from the sky and destroyed the clone while Mikasa shunshined right beneath Kisame and kicked him hard in the balls as the man was sent crashing on the girl.

Mikasa quickly leapt beside Anko and the condition the girl was in was worse than she had anticipated. She was one of the best in Taijutsu and yet she couldn't hold the man down for more than 1 minute.

"Way to go girl...right on target," said Anko jokingly, as she coughed up more blood.

Mikasa spotted Kisame, the man too had blood around his balls and was hissing in pain. But Anko's condition was worse, she saw Shizune was healing Iwashi and from the looks of it they were at their limit.

Even she only had chakra remaining for 3 or more attacks and then she was out too. She really wished to have a monstrous chakra like Naruto in such condition, but the fact was she didn't have one.

"Hang in there" whispered Mikasa, as Anko gave her a weak nod.

Kisame looked at the weasel masked kunoichi, she had hit him in the place where even the toughest men were vulnerable. He was in immense pain, but he had taken down 3 of his opponents, now he only had to deal with this bitch...

And he was going to make her pay for crushing his balls.

"You are dead" said Mikasa madly, and unleashed a torrent of kunai straight towards Kisame's face.

The Kiri ninja quickly started to deflect the incoming projectiles but he was quite alarmed when Mikasa made a hand seal and all the kunai glowed brightly as Kisame quickly jumped in the air.

BOOM!

Kisame sighed in relief as he barely escaped the blast, to think that those simple kunai had chakra tags on them. Chakra tags were used to store massive amount of chakra, and when fired upon the enemy they create a huge explosion due to the tremendous amount of energy being released together.

Mikasa shunshined right in front of her opponent and tried to stab him in the chest, but the man caught her hands tightly as a maniacal grin came on his face.

"Got you, gaki!"

"Hn"

The girl dispersed in a flock of crows and before Kisame could react, she appeared behind him and stabbed him brutually in the neck.

However Mikasa was surprised when her kunai couldn't go deep in his neck, it was as if his body was as hard as a rock. And that moment of shock costed her a precious second as Kisame grabbed her roughly and kneed her straight in the chest.

It was followed by a devastating punch to her neck that sent her crashing on the ground with a loud bang.

"WEASEL!''

Shizune screamed in terror when Mikasa was knocked flat on the ground, but Kisame appeared right in front of the medic and stabbed her in the chest.

THUD!

Mikasa watched hazily as her friend fell flat on the ground, Iwashi and Anko were quickly stabbed by the man too.

"This is it...I'm sorry Naruto, I tried" thought Mikasa sadly, a lot of her bones were broken and her blood was flowing like a river and drenching the soft sand with it.

All of them had done their duty, her eyes shifted to the small watch in her hand as it ticked to zero.

"GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Kisame screamed in tremendous as fountains of blood started erupting from various parts of his body, the areas where Shizune had hit him with her senbon.

"What is this? What did you do, you bitch!" yelled Kisame madly, as he started coughing up black liquid from his mouth.

Kisame'e eyes widened in horror when Mikasa jumped high in the air and he quickly brought his kunai forward.

SPLASH!

SPLASH!

"Gah..."

Mikasa collapsed on the ground as Kisame's kunai pierced her heart, while her three pronged kunai was lodged straight in his chest.

But she grabbed the wounded man with all her strength, and her eyes shifted to the rest of her comrades as the barrier dropped.

"FIRE!"

The rest of the blacklight company fired their kunai launchers and hundreds of kunai pierced clean through both Kisame and Mikasa's bodies.

The attack was completed as Kisame's body fell lifeless on the ground with hundreds of kunai lodged deep inside his body, while a kunai was planted clean in his head.

THUD!

Mikasa's body fell lifeless to the ground along side her team, as there was a bright light in the area..

This is how Anbu fight, Mikasa and the others used tactics and took Kisame down with them but at the cost...
