My parents have just arrived for dinner. Warner had Kenji and Adam escort them here.

"Hello." My mother and father say in unison.

"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Ferrars. I am glad to see that you made it here safely."

"Yeah," my mom said, "I am too. I have never ridden in a tank before. Although it is frightening, it was sort of cool, I must admit."

"You will get used to it." I said out loud. I have been quiet since they arrived.

"Juliette," my father says to me, "We know that we have to talk to you. We are sorry about the things that we said earlier today. But we have explanations for everything we did."

"How about we all just sit down. I think tonight is going to be a night full of events. Don't you think love?" Warner asks me.

"Maybe." I am unhappy that my parents are here, but I know that at one point in my life or another, I'm going to have to talk to them at some point. Maybe tonight is the night that I tell them that I am pregnant. Boy, this is really going to be a night full of events.

We all sit down at the medium sized table in the dining room. The entire room is painted green and blue. So all the dining material are green and blue also. It's actually quite stunning. I can see my parents and their children looking around the room in awe.

"So this where you both live?" asked my father.

"We have our own room, but this is where we eat our meals when we have time to at least." Warner looks uncomfortable. I realize that this might be hard for him too. He's meeting the people who used to torture me as a child. I can just imagine all of the thoughts that are running through his mind. I am imagining them to.

"What are your children's names?" I ask.

"John and Julia. Julia is two years old and John will be turning 4 next week." My mother says.

"Why did you have more children? I'm pretty sure that you said that I ruined your hopes and chances for having any more children."

"Well, that's what we are here to explain to you." My father says. "That and some other things."

John looks at me after awing over the room. "Who are you anyways?"

"Believe me, you will know by tonight." I told him.

"Why can't you just tell me now." He asked.

"Well, if I did that, I think that will take all the mystery away."

"John," my mother calls, "Why don't you come and sit down next Julia."

"Fine." He answers. "Then will you tell me?"

He sits down and looks at us. My parents look at me and nod because I know that there is no getting out of this one.

"This is your sister. Juliet."

John laughs.

He actually laughs out loud as if this is a joke.

"So I have another sister. This is… this is just so…"He can't stop laughing.

"Why are you laughing?" Warner asks.

"I always wanted an older brother, but instead I have an older sister. I'm not really surprised. Daddy always tells me bedtime stories about a magical girl named Juliet. So this is just really funny.

My father tells stories about me to my younger siblings. I would think they would want to forget everything about me.

"Does he?" I asked John glancing at my father. "Do you remember any of them?" he nods. "Do you want to tell us one of these stories? I know that I would want to hear one."

"Sure," he answers, "Years ago, there was this magical land with magical people. The land was called Touchette. It was full of people with the power to touch normal people and hurt them. Everybody hated them because they could kill the other people. But the people of the land didn't really mean to hurt people. They wanted to help them, but they couldn't help without hurting another person.

"They did everything they could to get rid of the power that they had, but they just didn't know how. So, they used their power as best as they could. They used it to get rid of the bad people." He stopped and looked at my father. "That's all he told me so far."

"Well," Warner stepped in, "You must be very smart to remember that much. That, my friend, was a mouthful."

John's eyes brightened immediately at Warner's comment. "Mommy tells me that I'm the most intelligent boy she has ever laid eyes on. Wouldn't you think so?" he asked Warner.

Warner gave him a bright smile, "Yes, I would."

As if on cue, the food arrived at the table. I was still a little shocked by the story that my father had shared with them, but to be honest, it almost seemed like they missed me. It felt like that story had less to do with the horrible things that I've done, and more to do with the one and only thing they threw away. Me.

For dinner, we stayed quiet half the time, eating our food in silence, except for the occasional times when Julia complained and my mother had to feed her. I've come to notice that she has been fidgety since she got here. She didn't look happy, mad, or relieved. She looked… sad.

Once dinner was over and Warner made small talk with my parents, it was time for dessert.

"Mr. and Mrs. Ferrars," Warner said calmly, "With all due respect you said you were going to give Juliette an explanation and we have yet to hear one."

"Ah," my father frowns, "Perhaps we could tell her another time. We just aren't ready yet. We're sorry."

"Of course." Warner looks like he's about to lose his cool. "We could do this again another time. But I expect you to tell her. She has been through enough and she deserves an explanation. That's all we're asking for."

"We will," my father answers.

We said our goodbyes and they left. It really wasn't as hard as thought it was going to be. All of the things I thought I was going to hear, I never heard. And I never told them about the baby, or my own feelings. But I will, when the time comes.

Warner and I go back into our room and lay down facing each other in the bed.

"What are you thinking?" Warner asks while leaning in to kiss my neck.

"I'm about how much I love you even though sometimes you can be an idiot." She says to him in a mocking tone.

"Well," Warner murmurs against her neck, "Mrs. Ferrars, I'm sorry for that. Our baby certainly won't need an idiot as a father."

"I hope not." I giggle.

"Our baby is going to be showered with love." He tells me looking straight into my eyes.

"Oh! Do you think Castle could check the baby tomorrow?"

"Definitely. When I told about the baby, he immediately got the things that will be needed during the pregnancy. We want to get all of that done as soon as possible. But for now," warner rolls on top of me looking into my eyes. "This baby is just going to have to watch its head."

And in that moment, nothing else matters.
