Chapter 11: Home
"Ugh.." Aiden moaned as he sat up rubbing his head. He looked around and noticed everyone lying on the floor unconcious. He looked around and suddenly shot up. "Louise?!" He asked seeing the blonde nowhere insight. He heard a faint yelling and looked up. "Ahhhhhhh!" He saw the blonde falling and realised it was too late when she fell on him. "Oof!" He said into the grass. Louise groaned and sat up. "Ow..." She heard a grumbling from underneath her and looked down. "Oh my! Aiden! I'm sorry!" She said rolling off him. He slowly pushed himself up and spat out some grass. "No problem." He then fell back down and rolled onto his back. "We made it..." He whispered closing his eyes.
Louise looked around, seeing the others but one thing was still missing. "Where's the book?" She asked out loud. "OW!" Aiden shouted. Louise turned around to see the book on his face. What meant that it had fallen from the sky like she had and also landed on Aiden. Like she had. "Will you guy's be quiet. I'm trying to sleep." Josh grumbled. "You don't sleep idiot." Louise deadpanned. "Oh yeah!" He shouted as he jumped up. Louise laughed as she pulled the book off Aiden's face. "Oww..." He moaned. She giggled and kissed his nose. But pulled back with a blush when she realised what had happened. Aiden also blushed, well sort of. You couldn't tell because of his red face from when the book had landed on him.
The angel quickly scurried to get up and wake up the others. Once everyone was awake they surveyed the area around them. "Where are we?" Louise asked looking around. "The graveyard." Demetry said. Aiden looked at him confused. "How can you tell that?" Demetry pointed to a gate that had 'Cemetery' written across the top. "Oh right." Aiden sighed. "That book has been alot of trouble." Josh chuckled and took it off Louise. "A lot of trouble." He mumbled flicking through a few pages. Suddenly a light shone out from the book and hit Louise and Josh. "Not again!" Daniel shouted. The light dimmed and left the two glowing. Louise was glowing gold and Josh was glowing black.
They looked at eachother in confusion. Suddenly Louise began to transform. Her wings changed so that they were completely white and a little smaller, her dress grew so that it went down to her knees. The top back part of her hair was pulled up slightly and she had blue flowers crowning her hair and her right wrist. On her left arm she had a white glove that went from her elbow to her hand. She then stopped glowing. Louise looked at herself confused. Aiden was blushing and Demetry also had a slight tint to his cheeks. Josh was still glowing, his pendant began to swirl. "You're powers are changing." Louise said to him. He still had on his demon attire, unlike Louise he still had the same outfit on. An object appeared infront of him. He took hold of it and began to examine the weapon. It was a new scythe. It was about 6ft and had a silver head. It looked that the staff was made of wood but Josh couldn't tell at the top of the blade was a patch of Pinkish/Purplish crystal.
Louise looked at his pendant as if she was reading it. "Shadows. You now have the power of the shadows." Aiden dramtically fell. "Oh come on!" He pouted pointing to the demon. "First the finishing move and now cool awesome shadow powers. Not fair." He pouted. Everyone laughed at the idiot. Louise smiled and looked around at the group. She had missed this. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Caitlyn standing off to the side. She stalked over to her and smiled. "Hey Caitlyn! I'm so glad that you joined our group." Caitlyn looked at her in shock. "Why?" Louise continued to smile. "Because you're my friend." She then looked at the boys and put a hand to the side of her mouth. "Besides living with a load of stinky boy's, you appreciate the company of a girl." Caitlyn laughed at this. "Yeah i guess." Louise grabbed her arm. "Come on." She dragged her over to the group. You're my friend. Caitlyn smiled at this. Friend...
"What about your forms?" Louise asked Josh and Caitlyn. He coughed. "Well i guess i'll just glamour my wings." It was night now that's why he's in his demon form. Louise contemplated. "Caitlyn?" He asked his sister. "Yeah?" She answered looking at him. "Do you have a human form?" She shook her head. "I'll do the same as Josh." She pointed out afterwards. Josh nodded and clapped his hands. "Well we're all good for now. We should head back." Everyone nodded and they walked back to the hotel and packed. They left the next day and headed back home.
"Ahh! It's good to be home!" Louise said falling on the sofa of her apartment. "Before we settle let's talk about living arrangements." Josh sat sitting on an armchair. "Caitlyn you live with me, Louise you already live here and-." Josh said but was cut off by Aiden. "We'll live in my apartment." He interrupted. "Since when did you have an apartment?" Louise asked him confused. "I'll go get one then." He shrugged causing her to laugh. "We need to think of a plan." Caitlyn said cutting off Louise's laughter."About how to destroy Satan?" Aaron asked. The demon hit him on the head. "Of course idiot." He rubbed his head and glared at her. "Don't worry. We'll beat him." Josh said seriously. "Of course we will." Louise smirked. "And we'll do it together." Aiden added. Everyone nodded. They really were home. Finally.
