Nix
It's been thirty minutes. The Rake had shown up alongside the explosion. Slenderman is a traitor.
Now that took me a while. I was in denial, I didn't want to believe it.
But it was obviously true when I saw his trying to strangle Masky. Now I can only assume that the several feelings of illness I got were from him.
When could I get in there? I wanted to fight too, I wanted to help them. I cursed at myself. I couldn't find the right time to jump in.
The Rake's back was to me. I bit my lip, trying to remain silent. "Herobrine, in front of you!" Someone called. The Rake's spinal chord stuck out like mountains against his leathery skin, shifting forward. Was he in front of Hero?
I shook, and forced myself into position. Was I thinking my actions through? Of course not, being the idiot I am. I vaulted forward and lunged onto the Rake's back.
Herobrine
"Herobrine, in front of you!"
Two hunters to my left, two hunters to my right, all four with guns aimed at me. I looked forward. The Rake stood in front of me, hand raising. I braced myself, expecting bullets and claws to be piercing into my chest. Instead I shuffled back, and again fell over. I scrambled to my feet, making sure to get up before the hunters. There was a heavy weight in my stomach as I looked up. "Nix?!" I somehow choked up my words. I'd told her to leave! I'd told her to run! Why is she here? Before I could move, a deep voice hollered. "That's the subject!" There was a pause on the battlefield, and everyone store in her direction. Her eyes were clenched tight, body shaking and sweaty. I couldn't move, my legs had frozen. There was another call that I couldn't here, and I was soon grabbed and pushed onto the ground. Nix's face grew pale. "Don't touch him!" She began to stand, but was soon held down. "Don't fucking touch him!" She trashed against the members who were holding her. "You faggots! Let go of him!" She continued to yell and push around, her voice was cracking, and soon enough it would give out. The temperature on my head dropped and the area darkened, and before I could respond, there was a loud crack, and I lost consciousness.
Nix
"You faggots! Let go of him!"
It was useless, I couldn't move. There were four people restraining me. My throat was dry and burning, and I was beginning to grow tired. The world once again paused as someone dropped the bottom of a gun onto Herobrine's head.
All of my personal hell was about to break loose.
Herobrine
"Ah, geez.." A sharp pain shot through my skull as I tried to sit up. I moved my hand to feel for any cuts, only to find that both my hands were attached to the wall. I scanned the area, by eyes slowly adjusted to the dark. The room seemed to contain little to nothing. A few crates, a blanket of some sort, and Nix.
Oh, shit.
"Nix?" She had been placed at the other end of the room, and was too restrained against the wall. Her eyes were closed, but her chest was in motion. Seems that she's asleep. I began to look around the room again, searching for a possible way out, when I heard a quiet reply. "Yeah?" I shifted to look at it's source. Nix had woken up. "A-Are you okay?" She tried to pull from the wall, but received the same result as me, chained. "Just a bit sore.." I looked her over for a moment, half expecting her to be fine. She hadn't really gotten into combat, had she? "Why're you covered in bruises and cuts?" I had to stop myself from shouting. "Oh, I am? She looked down at her arms. They were turning different shades on some spots, others bleeding. "The cuts don't seem too deep, and the bruises are already fading from being pink. I should be fine." She looked over at my arm. "Your shoulder, however.." I momentarily glanced at it. "The blood has stopped flowing, and it looks like it's trying to clot.." She continued to talk quietly about the details. "It could become infected.." "Don't worry about my arm!" She flinched at my sudden volume. "Sorry.." She muttered, now facing the ground. God damn it, now I feel bad. I should've just shut up then. Of course I didn't.
"Why're you covered in cuts?" She looked back over to me. "I fought back, of course. Obviously it wasn't too efficient.."
"Why'd I pass out?" "Someone dropped a gun on your head."
Oh. That explains that.
A certain question was nagging me, but I was a bit afraid to ask.
"Why'd you come back?" I spoke cautiously. She picked her head up. "What?" She spoke even softer.
"Why'd you come back?" My tone had changed. "Herobrine-" "I told you to run! Why didn't you?!" The room fell silent for a moment. "I just wanted to help-" "You should've kept going!" "They were going to kill you!" "You should've let them!"She once again fell silent.
"Hero.." Nix was biting her lip. "Y-You're just blowing off steam.." She was right, we both knew she was, but she still seemed hurt. God damn it Herobrine.
A light shot through the darkness as the door opened. Two men walked in, beginning to unchain Nix. "What're you doing.." One man shot a glare at me. "We're going to ask about what you've done to her." They then pulled her out, forcing her quiet.
I couldn't do anything.
God damn it Herobrine.
