Yo..

It was quite interesting that some of the readers attempted the question I put forward, I appreciate the participation. But unfortunately none of you could guess the main reason behind Naruto visiting Minato, and what my plan is. Not to worry, it's going to be revealed in this chapter.

I believe this chapter will show every little thing in this story is connected, and it also has my answer that whether I am going to continue the story or not?

I read all the reviews and dozen Pm's regarding the future of this story, and thought about it thoroughly before coming to this decision. As I said in the announcement, I always have a few different plans regarding my stories...and this is the best choice I can think of right now.

'Chapter 53

The Boy who loved

Kushina curiously stared at the simple book in front of her, there was nothing special about it...apart from the fact Naruto treasured it like his life depended on it, he even threatened to harm her if she touched this book.

But things were spinning out of control and she had to know what Naruto was up to...

She had tried to discover his plan by trying to understand the current setting of his chess board, but then again she was never good at strategies. That's why her only hope for finding any answers was this book.

Kushina carefully turned the book and was a little intrigued by the title...

"Brothers"

"What are you hiding from me, Naruto?" asked Kushina worriedly,

As she turned the first page, a picture popped in front of her...

(4th Division Headquarters)

"N-Naruto..."

Minato couldn't believe that his son was really standing in front of him. A tirade of feelings was passing through his entire body...whether they be joy, curiosity, or any other feelings. He didn't even know if this was real or just a dream...whatever it was he was really happy on seeing his son again after so many years.

He looked so different now, Naruto was almost as tall as him. He was still wearing the face mask which Shsui had given him, apart from his strange clothes the only odd thing was that one of his eyes were covered by a Konoha forehead protector in a similar manner like Kakashi.

"It's good to see you...Tou-san"

Naruto was surprised when in a flash his father was in front of him and had enveloped him in a fierce embrace. His hands tried to return the hug...but somehow he couldn't muster the courage to return the favor. The fact that he was meeting his father for the last time was already hard enough for him...

After a few moments Minato broke the hug and was now happily looking at his son...

"I knew you were not dead. No one can take my son down so easily..." said Minato happily, as Naruto just gave a half-hearted smile.

"Yeah"

Meanwhile Naruto was just staring at his old man, the things he would be leaving behind. Deep down in his heart, he badly wished that in the next life he could be together with them again.

"You...are...the savior of this world...I know you can do it"

"I believe in you, Naruto"

"What are friends for!"

All those faces came flooding back in his mind. Armin, Kotetsu...everyone had died believing he would remove the evil and hatred of this world. They gave their lives for him...and it was his duty to uphold the faith that all those people had put in him.

Minato couldn't describe how happy he was right now, but he was surprised when a small tear slipped from Naruto's eyes.

"What's wrong, Naruto?" asked Minato curiously, and he watched patiently as Naruto closed his eyes.

"Tou-san, all my life I always wondered why my father neglected me and favored my brother...for years I hated you for leaving me alone. I was so frustrated and angry..." said Naruto truthfully, as Minato averted his eyes from him.

"I see, it must have been hard for you...I'm sorry" said Minato sadly,

Silence prevailed in the room as both father and son were lost in their own world, until Naruto looked his father straight in the eye.

"But you know, Tou-san...no matter what happened you gave it your all. I understand that now...today I'm proud of my father who sacrificed everything to protect his country and his comrades"

Minato's eyes widened in shock on hearing those words, and watching the understanding look in his eyes moved Minato's heart.

"You..."

"I understand why you behaved like that, you only wanted to protect Konoha and Fire Country from this war. And I'm sorry for not supporting you and making your life miserable..." said Naruto regretfully, as Minato came forward and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Why are you saying all this? You've come back, all of us can make a fresh start. You, me, Mikoto and Itachi...we can all be a family again" said Minato hopefully, and Naruto bit his lip in frustration.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible...at least I won't be in that picture"

Minato got a bad feeling on hearing that sentence, and his attention again went towards Naruto's hidden eye. He tried to remove the headband but Naruto swapped his hand away.

"Naruto...what are you up to? And what has happened to your eye?" asked Minato worriedly,

Naruto's gaze shifted towards some of the young ninja outside the camp, genin probably fresh out of the academy. He knew if they went in this battle and this war continued, most of them won't make it back alive.

The cycle would keep on continuing and more...Armin's and Naruto's would keep on dying.

It had to stop.

"War brings death, wounds, and pain to everyone. There's nothing harder to accept than the death of a loved one...so we try to convince ourselves that they cannot die...

...especially the next generation, people like Itachi who do know war. They'll try to look for meaning in death..." said Naruto sadly,

"Naruto..."

"But there is only pain and hatred which they won't understand, things that will consume them. People die like trash...and this everlasting cycle of hatred keeps on continuing. That is war..."

Minato could just stare in amazement, was this really his little son? It seemed as if Naruto had truly understood the value of life and peace...

"We can still build a better world, there can definitely be peace if we truly work for it. There is still hope for this world, people just need to be given proper guidance..." said Minato hopefully, as a small smile came on Naruto's face.

He slowly walked towards Minato and gently put both of his hands on his father's shoulders,

"Tou-san, you are leading a good life with admirable principles, and one day the world will follow you too. That is why I must follow my own path...thank you"

Before Minato could even comprehend the meaning behind those words Naruto's Mangekyo sharingan spinned quickly...

"Shit"

"Naruto Namikaze commands you...obey me, Hokage"

He quickly grabbed Minato's right hand with his own right hand, and a series of seals started getting transferred to Naruto. Minato was horrified when he saw what that seal was...

"You can't be thinking of doing that...it's suicide" shouted Minato, but Naruto didn't back off.

"The Hand seals..." commanded Naruto,

"Snake, Boar, Ram, Rabbit, Dog, Rat, Bird, Horse, Snake..." said Minato flatly, he couldn't even stop himself

And looking into Naruto's determined gaze made him more worried, so that's what he meant by changing everything. But just who was he trying to kill that he had to use that technique...

"I couldn't protect my friends...but I will end this war" replied Naruto remorsefully,

"Stop this, Naruto...this is a kinjutsu. Do you want to die? Who the hell told you about this?" asked Minato angrily,

"I saw Commander Fox performing it...I learned it is a contract which a person makes with the death God. And you were the one who was the current holder...that's why I came to say goodbye and take this seal from you. Madara is the true leader of the Akatsuki and was the one who started this bloody war...I will take him down with this jutsu along with the Akatsuki" said Naruto silently,

"Madara?" asked Minato in shock,

Before Minato could even digest this shock, Naruto glared his Mangekyo at him which instantly silenced the frozen Hokage as he pointed his finger at the small scroll on his desk.

"Win the battle at Osaka, and follow the plan which I have formed. You will be the first emperor of a new world, with Itachi as the prince and heir to the throne. I' have made all the arrangements, you will find the bodies of the Akatsuki and Madara in Amegakure. Their true plan along with the evidence is in that scroll...expose them to the world and unite everyone. Also Kushina and Mikasa's team are innocent make sure they receive a fair trial, provide them the opportunity to present the evidence they have discovered..." ordered Naruto seriously,

"Hai"

The seal transfer was completed as a strange Shinigami mark got engraved on Naruto's right hand, he had already memorized every information about the Kinjutusu...and now it was just a matter of time before this would all be over.

An eternity in hell...that thought did send shivers down his spine, but it was the only way to take down Madara...

He hesitantly grabbed his father and embraced him for one last time, but Minato just stayed still as he was under Naruto's genjutsu. After a few moments, Naruto quickly broke the hug and looked the young Hokage straight in the eye.

"Remember everything I said, except for the fact that you never met me...and forming the Empire of Japan as well as exposing Madara and the Akatsuki was your plan and not mine. Sayonara...Tou-san"

With those words and a heavy heart, Naruto casted one last glance to Minato before slowly disappearing inside his pocket dimension.

Just like a ghost...

(Akatsuki Base: Amegakure)

A tall blonde boy could be seen standing on one of the towers in Amegakure. His eyes were currently fixed on the tallest tower on top of which his targets would currently be resting. Rain was pouring down heavily from the skies and drenching him from top to bottom.

Naruto's lone Mangekyo slowly came to life...

"Hisana.."

"Bird"

"Eagle"

"Hawk"

"Yugao"

"Commander Fox"

"Aoba"

"Kotetsu"

"Armin...I've lost all of you. This is the result left behind...no, perhaps it's retribution for all they put us through. But that's why I must thank all of you...for prolonging my life, there is still something that I need to do... For me there is only way," said Naruto murderously,

He quickly unsheathed his sword and jumped towards the entrance of the Akatsuki base...

"My enemy, Madara Uchiha...in my path down to hell. I shall have you accompany me, for that is..."

I know it's the shortest chapter till date, but well I had to do it.

So you learned why Naruto visited Minato, now you see how the events from Chapter 19 are connected to this latest chapter.

So, yes there is a very high probability that this story will be ending after the war...but I'm thinking of writing a sequel.

Although this story may still get continued depending upon the next chapter, and what actions Naruto, a certain red head, and the mysterious move of the Akatsuki take.

So, it's still not the end for this story...there can always be obstacles in a plan. Nothing is certain...
