Another intense chapter is about to be unleashed. I recently noticed that some of the readers want some sex scenes, the only thing I can say is that the plot is progressing quite nicely and your wish has been duly noted.

Chapter 56
Reunions: Part 2

A bright smile came on her face as she ran towards him, and before he could even understand what was happening she tackled him down on the water surface while enveloping him in a warm hug.
"Do you really mean it?" asked Kushina, with a hopeful look in her eyes.
But before Naruto could reply, he felt something slipping from his nose, and as he gently put his hand on his nose he noticed it was his own blood.
"It's progressing quite fast..." thought Naruto, with a clear frown etched on his face.
He had not thought about this scenario, since he was supposed to go down with the Akatsuki he had failed to analyze this problem. But now that there had been a change of plans, and he had to find a solution fast.
The Battle with the Edo Tensei was going to be the biggest battle of his life, and he could not afford any screw ups.
Even now he was keeping secrets from everyone, neither Mikasa, Rangiku or anyone in Blacklight knew about this. And neither was Kushina supposed to know...
"I mean it, Kushina" replied Naruto, as Kushina noticed something strange in his eyes.
"Can we really defeat those Edo Tensei? I mean they all are..." said Kushina doubtfully, but was silenced when he placed his finger on her lips.
"Kushina, I couldn't keep my promise to Armin. I'm trash, but all of the people fighting at Osaka are heroes of Konoha. They don't have to become trash like me..." replied Naruto emotionally, and slowly stood up.
"Naruto...:
"Armin's strong will is still alive in them, so the only thing that I can do...help them win this war, no matter the cost"
Kushina quickly stood up and placed her hand on his shoulder, guess it would be a long time before he could forgive himself for what happened at Shuri Castle.
"I'm sure that with such strong will and your Mangekyo, we'll win this war. Your eye is probably the most powerful weapon I have ever seen..."
She watched patiently as he placed his right hand on his eye, as regret was clearly visible in them.
"Let's kick some ass..."
"Kotetsu..."
"I will believe in you...Namikaze Naruto"
"Armin..."
He quickly wiped out the small tear that slipped from his eye and looked at Kushina...
"The shadow of tragedy trails these eyes. It's best if no one ever activates a Mangekyo...but for better or for worse, this eye holds a key as to how I feel about my friends" said Naruto sadly,
"I understand..."
"You ready?" asked Naruto seriously,
"Hai"
"Let's save our friends..." said Naruto calmly, with a small smile on his face.
As Kushina started getting absorbed into the pocket dimension, she felt something inside her while looking at him. Naruto was probably the most complicated person she had ever met...
And yet in the end, he was just a simple boy who loved his friends...
And that's what she loved about him...
Just as Kushina was sucked inside his pocket dimension, he slowly turned around and calmly looked at the person standing in front of him.
"So, you've finally chosen your side..."
"Yeah...this is it"
For a second he noticed something in the person's eyes, a feeling which he never thought existed in this human being...it was pain.
"You really think, that you can unite the world? That the hatred can be removed by your way?"
"Maybe..."
"You are just delaying the inevitable, Naruto. I know all about you...the pain in your heart, your suffering and the inevitable death that you have been trying to delay since your first battle in the Valley of Hell"
Naruto gritted his teeth in anger, so there was indeed someone who knew his secret. But it also meant...
"You can't change the ninja world, Naruto. Only trash can think of such a thing..."
"You're right, I am trash for sure, any ninja who survives in this evil world is trash..."
"Then what's the difference between us? You and I have both known pain, you lost Armin...the person you loved and cared for. While I..."
"It's true that only trash can think that the ninja world will change, but those who abandon their comrades are even worse than that..."
The person's eyes widened in shock, as he just continued to stare at Naruto continuously for a few seconds.
"I am trash like you...but Armin has always been my hero"
"If you use that jutsu anymore, it will only accelerate the process. The more you use it, the more you'll head closer towards your fate...stay with me, Naruto. All your wishes can be fulfilled in my world, you can be with Armin, Kotetsu, every person you lost can be alive again. You can live in the world which you always desired, a world with Armin by your side..."
"It's not about me anymore, and I'm sure it's the same for you. There is still a part of me that has not lost faith in Armin's dream, a part which still believes in my comrades...and I will use every last minute of my remaining life to fulfill that dream"
The person standing in front of him smirked on hearing his reply,
"Naruto, you really are a lot like someone I knew once..."
"Huh?"
"That's right, you're just younger than him. But you will change one day..."
"I doubt that..."
"Then let's start our war. From this point, you fight to create your dream world...while I will fight for my dream world. One way or another this world will end..."
"I accept it. The next time when we meet it will be our final battle...if you want to stop me, now is the chance"
"Naruto, you are one of a kind. A person like you comes once in many generations, besides I'm tired of this weak ninja world...but you were the only one who outsmarted me. Turning Kushina against me, even Yagura, surrendering Kiri, making me use my trump card...you are a worthy opponent. Killing you now is not an option, besides we both know if we fight right now then we'll die...and neither one's dream would be fulfilled. So go and try to change the world in your way...but I will defeat you Naruto..."
"Ask yourself this one question...what do you really want? Peace or Freedom? This is my test, and whether I'm up against good, evil, angels, devils, you or even Kami himself...I'll make my own choice, I'll choose family"
After giving one determined gaze to the person, Naruto slowly started disappearing inside his pocket dimension however there was a small smile on his face.
"You may not admit it, but there is still a part of you that has not given up on this world...Madara"
These were his last words before disappearing into his pocket dimension, as Madara just painfully stared at the ever lasting rain falling from the sky.
"Am I doing the right thing...Rin"
(Pocket Dimension)
Naruto quickly appeared inside his secret territory, but he quickly collapsed on his knees and started coughing up blood. Strange dark colored marks started appearing across his entire body.
"It's happening again...gah!" screamed Naruto in pain, as he painfully clenched his chest.
He clearly remembered these marks emerging during his fight with Kushina, day by day they were getting stronger and he doubted that he could take on the Edo Tensei in such a state. Well, he could with the Shiki Fuin, but it would bring everything down.
The virus was slowly taking over his entire body, and even with his strong chakra it was almost impossible for him to control it.
The day he killed those infected Blacklight soldiers in the Valley of Hell, the day he got bit by one of them was probably the most unluckiest day of his life.
It was a miracle that he was able to survive this long, but ever since he started using Kamimusuhi...he started getting weak, the more he used that jutsu the more it destroyed his mind.
And the less he used it, the more virus spread across his entire body. In a way he was being killed from both sides...
Even Madara said he was dying...
But there was one thing which he could still not understand, Mikasa was the only person besides him who survived the virus made by Orochimaru. However it became her weapon and prevented her from dying whenever she got close to death...and even then there were no repercussions for her.
Every other person who could not adapt to the virus died within weeks and got turned into mindless drones, but not him...
Why?
He certainly knew it was no thanks to his body, even if he was being consumed by this virus he was not dying and slowly his powers were evolving.
His eyes widened in shock when he found Kushina lying unconscious on the ground...
"KUSHINA!" yelled Naruto,
He quickly ran towards his fallen comrades and put his hand on her neck...
"She's alive...if that's what you are worried about" said a mysterious voice,
Naruto was utterly shocked, how was another person inside this dimension? Nobody could get here without his will, and if someone was here then...
He quickly took out his sword and got into a defensive formation around Kushina, even if he was in pain he had to protect her from this enemy.
"Who are you? Show yourself!" said Naruto furiously,
"Calm down..." said another mysterious voice,
His Mangekyo instantly came to life as two person started emerging from the shadows. However Naruto instantly took a few steps back as his eyes went wide in shock. Beads of sweat started rolling down across his entire body, as the persons standing in front of him were just looking at him calmly.
His hands started shaking, and within a few seconds he lost his grip on the sword as the weapon fell down on the ground making a loud noise.
"Impossible..." said Naruto nervously, this was just not possible...
"We need to talk Naruto...alone"

People asked why Naruto was not present in the previous chapter after Kushina knocked some sense into him? Well, this is the reason...
If you remember Naruto got bit by one of the infected Blacklight in chapter 14, just before Mikasa and he killed them. After that they kissed each other...remember?
Then in chapter 26 we saw the effects of the virus effecting Naruto after he put Mikasa in her room and encountered Shizune? The more his Mangekyo powers grew, the more it started affecting him...
Even in his fight with Kushina, at the end some strange marks started emerging from his leg...the place where the infected bit him.
So, like I said every minute things is connected in this story. The plot will progress exactly as per my plan...
Madara like you have seen is not a totally bad person, he still has a little humanity left in him. He even said he sees someone in Naruto, someone he knew from the past...and there is still a part of him that wants to believe in Naruto, but let's see what happens.
There are still a lot of mysteries and twists surrounding the plot...
Well, I'll let you guess...as to who these two mysterious people are? To think they even got inside Naruto's secret dimension...
