Right now I am super-duper frustrated and the few lines below are just my way of venting out my anger, so don't take it personally.
Okay? Why the FUCK are writers not trying to be innovative with pairings? In every damn section (including crossovers) of Naruto, every time I see only NaruHina. I mean, yeah I get it majority of people love this pairing...but it's getting ridiculous. Every fucking new story has to be NaruHina?
I've seen so many stories with awesome plots and talented writers who are about to start a fucking good story end up with NaruHina. Many new writers ask me to view their work, but most of them end up doing NaruHina.
The motto of this site is unleash your imagination, it means you can make ANY pairing...and not just from Narutouniverse. Take the example of this story and a few others, where kick ass females from different series are a part of the story. We get to see something new...I like NaruSaku, but there are dozens of stories for that pairing. And that's why in all my stories I try to do something new (And not NaruSaku) whether people like it or not is up to them...like in sharingan devil, I made a Naruto/Kurenai pairing and I've got quite a good fan base for that story coz people like something new. Similarly I experimented in this story too, and all my other stories.
You want to develop as a writer venture out into new areas, try to do the impossible and I assure you people will love your work. Yes. many NaruHina stories are epic and awesome, but you can do the same thing with different females too. Try to think out of the box, that's my point and this opinion is not meant to bash NaruHina stories, writers or the pairing itself. I speak for many readers of this site who want to see new things...trust me, the amount of fun I had in developing characters like Armin, Genma, Izumo, Kagami, Mikasa, Rangiku in this story is more than any other Narutouniverse character. It's hard to explain anymore...so just go for it, and I'll be there to help you out if you want to do something unique.

Chapter 58
Born to Fight
Itachi keenly observed the enemies standing in front of him. In front of him was the Sandaime Raikage along with his best soldiers ready to annihilate him and his comrades. But despite that, he was not afraid...these were the people whose foolishness resulted into the death of his beloved brother.
The Heavenly Alliance lead the world into chaos and suffering, they disturbed the peace which his father was trying to establish.
And now it was time to teach them a lesson and discipline them. He owed this to his brother, who died believing in him.
"Itachi, leave the Raikage to me. You go with the Anbu commander and make sure no one interferes in my battle..." ordered Jiraiya,
"As you command, Jiraiya-sama" replied Itachi faithfully, as the Anbu commander and his other comrades stepped forward.
"Dragon, you wanted to prove that Konoha Anbu are still a force to be reckoned with, now is your chance. Prove that you're not inferior to Blacklight and can serve your country..." said Jiraiya confidently,
"We won't let you down..." replied the Dragon masked Anbu commander,
He quickly took out his large sword and pointed it towards the enemy forces, as his soldiers too prepared themselves for the final fight that would determine the faith of their nation.
"SCATTER!"
Hundreds of Konoha ninja charged straight towards the Kumo forces as the entire battlefield started shaking with the enemy army too charging towards them.
Itachi was surprised when the Anbu commander and his special ops soldiers ran clean through the enemy vanguard in a flash. So this was the level of a Anbu special ops soldiers...then how powerful were Blacklight? And how strong was his brother?
However his thoughts were cut short, when several Kumo shinobi fired their shuriken towards him.
In a flash, his sharingan came to life as he too fired several of his own shuriken towards the incoming projectiles.

Again and again the deadly weapons collided with each other, the Kumo shinobi were getting a little frustrated as a single boy was stopping all of them and not even one of their weapons was getting close to him. Itachi either deflected the weapon, or caught it and sent it sailing back towards them.
A few of their comrades were already starting to fall when suddenly Itachi jumped high in the air and unsealed a giant fuma shuriken from his scroll.
"Take this!" yelled Itachi fiercely, and with great speed launched the weapon straight towards the enemy forces.
"Heh, this is nothing boy..." said several Kumo shinobi arrogantly, and easily dodged the weapon but an uneasy feeling emerged in their hearts when the young Namikaze got a wicked smile on his face.
"This is for my brother!"
He quickly pulled the thin ninja wires that he had attached on the giant weapon, and in a flash the sharp weapon came spiraling back while cleanly cutting the heads of several Kumo shinobi in a flash.
Ninja wires were special weapons used by weapon specialists, they were almost invisible to the naked human eye but not for a sharingan wielder...
And today the Kumo forces learned this lesson quite brutally...
"I need to thank Tenten for this...it's quite deadly" thought Itachi, he was quite impressed with the weapon's capabilities.
As he neared towards the ground he saw the remaining kumo ninja ready to take him out, but he was prepared for this and quickly fired a single kunai which pierced a Kunoichi straight in the head. Following the momentum, Itachi perfectly landed on the weapon planted in the woman's head, and as she started collapsing towards the ground the Kumo ninja swiped their weapons towards him.
But again he channeled chakra towards his feet, and using the kunai as a base he jumped high in the air as the Kumo forces missed their hits.
A big mistake.
Itachi unleashed a torrent of kunai and shuriken from the sky which caught the unprepared Kumo forces by surprise.
"AHHH"
"SHit''
''Fu-"
One by one almost 30 Kumo ninja fell dead on the ground with sharp weapons embedded in various vital spots of their bodies. In a minute, the young boy had almost taken out 50 of their comrades in total and there was not a hint of remorse in his eyes.
Itachi glared at the next wave of Kumo forces who were looking at him angrily...
"You destroyed the peace of this world and led us all to this chaos. None of you value discipline and importance of co-operation, all you care about is your selfish goals without thinking about other's sufferings. This is my retribution..." said Itachi murderously,
In a flash Itachi appeared in between the Kumo forces and delivered a severe round house kick sending 7 of the enemy ninja sailing through the air.
A tall kumo ninja sent a right hook straight towards Itachi, and he noticed a small kunai hidden between the man's fingers. But before the weapon could connect with his face, Itachi twisted himself grabbing the man's hand tightly before twisting it making him stab the hidden weapon straight in his own forehead.
He saw some ninja performing a familiar set of hand seals, and performed his own hand seal before quickly slammed his right hand on the ground.
"Doton Jishin (Earth Release: Earthquake Jutsu)"
In a millisecond Itachi jumped in the air as the entire ground shook violently making the Kumo forces loose their balance.
His sharingan quickly fixed the position of all the enemy forces within his range, as his hand firmly grasped the tanto on his back...

Just as the ground stopped shaking, another 20 bodies fell flat on the ground with Itachi piercing his tanto clean through the last enemy's chest.
"Uha" screamed the man in pain, before collapsing on the ground.
His sharingan shifted towards the next wave of Kumo forces charging towards him, and they seem to be quite pissed.
Itachi wiped the blood from his tanto as a tired sigh escaped from his lips...
"Nii-san, if only they knew the value of peace..." said Itachi sadly, and prepared himself for the assault.
(With Jiraiya)
Jiraiya was patiently standing in his position, his eyes were fixed on the Raikage who was standing a few feet away from him. Both the men were uncaring towards the battles going on around them, even the screams of the dying shinobi did not bother them at all.
Everything was silent until the Raikage's body got covered into a bright lightning chakra powered armor.
"So this is the famous lightning armor of the Raikage, it greatly increases his speed and defense. In that case..." thought Jiraiya seriously, and performed a hand seal.
"Kekkai: Tengai Hōjin (Barrier: Canopy Method Formation)"
The Raikage was a little intrigued when a large oval shaped silver colored barrier was formed all around Jiraiya. Just what was the toad Sannin up to?
Guess there was only one to way find out...
Jiraiya quickly performed his own set of hand seals when the Raikage made the "Ram" hand seal and black lightning started appearing from his body.
"Raiton: Kuropansa (Lightning Style: Black Panther)"
A giant black colored panther was formed from the black lightning and was instantly fired towards Jiraiya. But the Toad Sage had already threw a single piece of paper towards the panther and just as it made contact, Jiraya made three simultaneous hand seals in quick succession.
"Fūka Hōin (Fire Sealing Method)"
The Raikage was a little surprised when his attack was completely absorbed inside the small paper before it exploded.
"Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique)"
Giant streams of fire were unleashed by Jiraiya and were now heading towards the Raikage who just stood in his place, just before the flames could hit his body the Raikage shunshined a few meters ahead as the flames missed their target and instead collided with a few Konoha shinobi a few meters behind him.
Jiraiya did not have time to curse himself, as the Raikage quickly sped towards him.
"Hari Jigoku (Needle Hell)"
Jiraiya quickly fired several hardened needle-like hair towards the Raikage, but was surprised when the giant shinobi took the hits head on and was still heading towards him.
"Well, in that case..." thought Jiraiya seriously, as his hair started extending around his entire body.
"Hari Jizō (Needle Jizō)"
"Jigokuzuki (Hell Stab)"
With great force the Raikage stabbed his right hand in the needle shield between which Jiraiya was hiding. But even after using so much chakra he was not able to pierce the shield, so he jumped in the air and gave a hard kick which sent Jiraiya crashing away.
Jiraiya quickly regained his composure and performed another set of hand seals as the Raikage made four fingers on his right hand.
Both veteran ninja quickly ran towards each other and Jiraiya could feel a tremendous amount of chakra being gathered in the fingers of his opponent. He knew he could not match the Raikage in speed, so the best option was...
Just as the Raikage got within 20 feet of him, Jiraiya slammed his hands on the ground.
"Doton: Yomi Numa(Swamp of the Underworld.)"
A giant mud swamp was formed right beneath their feet which quickly dragged Jiraiya as well as the storming Raikage in it.
"What is this?" asked the Raikage angrily, and he was surprised when his lightning armor quickly disappeared and he started sinking.
"This swamp absorbs chakra and prevents any movement. I could never match you in speed, so the best option was to immobilize you..." thought Jiraiya cunningly, as he too felt his chakra getting absorbed.
"You even went on to get yourself caught within your own jutsu...Jiraiya" said the Raikage bitterly, and his opponent performed a very familiar hand seal.
"Kekkai: Gama Hyōrō (Barrier: Toad Gourd Prison)"
The immobilized Raikage was a little surprised when a red colored toad was summoned on top of his head, and within seconds the animal swiped his tongue towards him as a small smirk came on his face.
BOOM!
A giant explosion of chakra occurred in the mud swamp, the force was so great that it sent Jiraiya crashing away. His eyes widened in shock, when his jutsu was destroyed completely and the amount of chakra leaking from the Raikage was probably equal to a Biju.
"Prepare yourself...Jiraiya" yelled the Raikage murderously,
Jiraiya quickly prepared himself as the Raikage raised 3 fingers...
(With Mikoto & Tsunade)
Wild gusts of wind freely flew across the vast field as 4 people could be seen standing opposite each other. On one side, was the son of the Sandaime Raikage A, along with his partner and Kumo's Jinchuuriki Killer Bee.
They were cautiously observing the two females standing in front of them. A knew Tsunade was a legendary Sannin and a powerful ninja, and it would be unwise to leave her alone with his soldiers. He had to face the Sannin.
However he also saw his army being overwhelmed on multiple fronts, that Namikaze brat was destroying his forces. And he had to be stopped...
"Shi, Darui...stop that brat right now. Bring me his head!" yelled A fiercely, as his two loyal Jounin bowed in front of him.
"At once, A-sama" said both of them in unison,
Mikoto watched both Kumo Jounin moving towards her son, but she also noticed the Konoha Anbu commander beside him. So, her son was safe for now...
However the same could not be said for many of her comrades who were lying dead on the floor, courtesy of the deadly duo standing in front of her. Looking at her side, she saw Tsunade staring at the enemy forces.
"Mikoto, we have to stop these two. Otherwise our soldiers would be dead in minutes..." advised Tsunade sagely, as her second in command gave a firm nod.
"I understand...Tsunade-sama'' said Mikoto seriously, and quickly activated her sharingan.
Meanwhile A saw Hiruzen and Kagami crushing the Iwa forces, even the old fool Ohnoki was being overwhelmed by Hiruzen. Their biggest weapons, the Edo Tensei were already trapped within that damn barrier.
"Leave it to Minato to devise such a plan, even before the battle could begin you reduced our strength and moral in half..." thought A disappointedly,
If there was any ninja in the world, whom he respected then it was Minato. The man was a true ninja...
He also saw his father locked in a deadly combat with Jiraiya, and it didn't seem that the battle was going to end soon. The Konoha forces were slowly gaining the advantage as Iwa's forces were on the verge of defeat.
It only left him one option...
"Bee, go and support the Tsuchikage. Leave these two to me..." commanded A seriously, as his partner looked at him in protest.
"But brother..." protested Bee, but was silenced when A glared at him.
"Now, Bee. This is an order!" yelled A angrily, as Bee gave a weak nod.
Tsunade quickly rushed towards the duo in order to stop Bee, but A quickly came in front of her and gave her a hard punch that sent her sailing back to her previous position where Mikoto quickly grabbed her.
"Tsunade-sama, I have a plan...but there is nothing we can do about Bee for now" said Mikoto truthfully, as Tsunade glared at her.
"But that man..." argued Tsunade, as Mikoto averted her eyes.
"I know...but we need to stop A first, we have to leave Bee to our comrades..."
Tsunade saw A's body getting surrounded in his lightning armor, she had fought with him in the past and one thing was sure, he was much faster than her and she needed to corner him first...
"He's too fast for us...I can crush him with my strength, but I need him in my range..." said Tsunade honestly, and her eyes widened in shock when Mikoto's sharingan started spinning.
In a few seconds, in place of a three tomoe sharingan a new type of X-shaped sharingan was now visible in Mikoto's eyes...
"They killed my son, I will return the favor today..." said Mikoto darkly, as a tremendous amount of chakra started leaking from her body.
"Mikoto, you..."
"Even through his death, Naruto left me something to avenge him..." replied Mikoto sadly, as she and Tsunade stood up and were now standing in front of A who too was surprised...
"So, you too have a Mangekyo like the Phoenix blacklight commander..." said A seriously,
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
A clenched his fists when he saw another squad of his shinobi being killed by Itachi, even Shi and Darui were having difficulty in controlling the boy.
"It hurts, doesn't it?" asked Mikoto in an insulting manner,
"You're dead, woman" said A angrily, but he was a little unnerved when a crazed look appeared in Mikoto's eyes.
"Let's do this..."
A quickly ran towards Mikoto who too repeated the action and charged straight towards him, but she quickly made a signal which Tsunade easily understood.
Just as A was about to hit Mikoto, she disappeared in a flock of crows...
"Where is she?" asked A angrily,
"Doton: Doryū Taiga (Earth Release: Earth Flow River)"
A quickly lost his balance as the ground beneath him got converted into sticky mud river courtesy of Tsunade who was standing on his right side, and the woman had already performed another set of hand seals.
"Doton: Doryūdan (Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet)"
The face of a small dragon emerged from the mud river and instantly shot several earth bullets towards the Kumo shinobi, as a small smirk came on his face.
"Is this all you've got?" asked A disappointedly,
"Katon Hosenka no Jutsu (Phoenix Sage Fire Technique)"
His eyes widened in surprise when Mikoto fired several fireballs from the sky which quickly combined with the mud bullets and were now about to hit him.
"Don't underestimate Kumo!" yelled A angrily, and unleashed a massive amount of chakra.
In a flash, the veteran Kumo shinobi shunshined out of the trap quickly avoiding the incoming projectiles and was now headed straight towards Tsunade.
The Sannin quickly raised her right hand blocking the punch that A had sent towards her, but the man didn't stop there as he tried to knee Tsunade in the gut. However Tsunade quickly blocked the incoming attack with her left hand while delivering a severe kick to A's chest sending the man sailing away.
A coughed up some blood from his mouth, the Senju woman sure had a lot of strength. He quickly restabilized himself and saw Mikoto glaring at him.
"What's she up to?" thought A seriously, as he quickly increased the strength of his lightning armor.
"Amaterasu"
A wall of black flames was quickly fired towards A who barely dodged the devastating attack by shunshining at the very last second. But the Kumo shinobi behind him weren't so lucky and got caught in the jutsu.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Tsunade was stunned with the power of Mikoto's attack as it quickly burnt 20 Kumo shinobi to ashes.
"Igniting where the user is looking, so this is Amaterasu. The power of a Manegkyo is amazing..." thought Tsunade in wonder, however her eyes widened in terror when A appeared right beside Mikoto.
"Erubō (Elbow)"
"Amaterasu Yoroi (Armor)"
Tsunade was in the process of completing her hand seals, when a giant armor of black flames was formed around Mikoto's entire body instantly preventing A from causing her any damage.
"She can't match him in speed, but through this A can't touch her. She's easily controlling those black flames, even changing their shape. Mikoto, you are far better than Naruto in controlling Amaterasu..." thought Tsunade proudly, as she slammed her hand on the ground.
"Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)"
"Raigyaku Suihei (Lightning Oppression Horizontal)"
A quickly twisted himself and delivered a backhanded horizontal chop which passed through the black flames armor and hit Mikoto in the neck.
CRACK
(With Bee)
The Kumo Jinchuuriki was quickly rushing towards the Iwa forces when suddenly a young boy jumped in front of him. He was wearing a dark black cloak with red swirls on it, while his face was covered by an orange spiral mask.
And he had already performed a set of hand seals...
"Raigen Raikōchū (Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar)"
Bee had to cover his eyes as an extremely bright light started emanating from the boy's body. Even the ninja near him were blinded by this attack, and he saw a wall of fire flames headed straight towards him.
He quickly took out one of his swords and slashed the incoming attack in half, when he heard another voice...
"Gofū Kekkai (Three Seal Barrier)"
Bee was a little startled when thick mist shrouded the entire area to the point where he could not see beyond 5 feet. So the enemy was trying to stall him...
Meanwhile the leader blood clone of Naruto quickly collapsed on his knees as his chakra was almost finished, but a satisfied smile was there on his face as he had successfully trapped Bee for sometime.
"I've placed three seals all over the area, if Bee wants to get out of this barrier he'll have to manually remove those seals. Even if he tries to use his Jinchuuriki powers the mist would absorb his chakra, and get even more thicker. The more he tries to destroy this jutsu the more deadly it will become...I've done my part, Boss. I hope you-" thought the blood clone tiredly,
He slowly got back on his feet and started moving towards a group of Iwa forces who too got caught in his jutsu. It was only due to his sharingan that he was able to see their chakra, and quickly made a hand seal as he stepped beside the Iwa squad.
BOOM!
(With Minato)
The Young Hokage was a little worried as he found himself surrounded in darkness from all sides, he could not at all see the Edo Tensei or anything else besides himself.
He heard a evil chuckle escaping from Izuna's mouth and realized just who was laughing at him...
"It seems you are in a difficult spot...Minato-kun" said Izuna a.k.a Orochimaru victoriously,
"I need sometime to execute that jutsu, but I doubt the Edo Tensei would leave me alone. I can't even summon anyone from the Toad realm as they too would get caught in this jutsu. My only option is to buy time in order to gather strength..." thought Minato smartly,
"We'll see about that...tell me something Orochimaru, did you betray Konoha just because you were not made Hokage? Are you that insecure and jealous?" asked Minato in an insulting manner, as he stealthily made a small hand seal behind his back and started concentrating.
There was only one way to defeat the enemy now...
"It doesn't matter what you saw...Konoha will END!" yelled Orochimaru madly,
"KONOHA WILL NOT END!"
Minato and everyone was surprised when a powerful wave of chakra washed through the entire area. Even the darkness surrounding Minato disappeared immediately and he saw the Edo Tensei and every shinobi looking at a tall mountain cliff where a group of people were standing behind a man.
(Mountain Cliff)
Mikasa and the entire Blacklight squad patiently watched the large enemy army that was fighting against their comrades. However they were confident that they would emerge victorious today...
"The Fourth Great Ninja War..." said Kushina silently,
"We will win!" said Izumo confidently,
"That goes without saying..." replied Genma seriously,
Even Yagura gave a firm nod, as his eyes shifted towards their leader who was standing at the front. He was wearing a dark black coat with a silver colored moon embedded on his back and light blue pants, there was a large magnificent sword strapped on his back and his dark silky blonde hair were wildly flowing in the cool breeze.
"Let's go, everyone. This is the final deciding battle..." said Naruto calmly,
"YEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Rangiku smiled happily on seeing the enthusiasm and hope among her comrades as Naruto raised his hand high in the air...
"SCATTER!"
In a flash, everyone jumped straight on the battlefield and started running towards their designated targets which Naruto had assigned them. While the young Namikaze ran straight towards the giant red colored barrier in which his father was trapped...
"We will unite this world and fight until our last breath for the sake of your dream Armin"

I know, I'm pure evil for leaving this cliffhanger. But it's so much fun...
My theory was right that Kaguya was indeed sealed in cannon by Hamura and Hagoromo. The previous chapter of this story in which I explained how the rabbit goddess was defeated and sealed by the brothers is indeed proved by latest chapter of Cannon. Now the only theory of mine that is left to be proved is whether Hamura died sealing Kaguya or not?
About Itachi, he's a chunin level ninja even though his rank is just genin. You can see he's just using skill to fight the enemy, he can't do big destructive jutsu like Naruto nor can he lead his comrades. He's like a lone wolf, and unlike Naruto who felt guilty on his first kills Itachi is the opposite. He's like a mini Tobirama...who will go to any extent to protect Konoha and avenge his brother.
Lots of things happened in this chapter, and I showed some of the answers to your questions. The Blood clone of Naruto (The leader who ordered the other two to fetch Naruto and Blacklight) was busy placing seals on the field and successfully trapped Bee. In this way he saved hundreds of lives, even for a short amount of time...
We have finally reached the finale of this war arc...
