Here comes the final chapter of this arc. Now I've read through all the suggestions that you guys have offered me regarding Armin and Naruto's grief about his death. And while I fully accept the constructive crticism, I believe I did the right thing by making Naruto behave in this way...and I'll explain why in this chapter.
It seems none of you are getting the picture as to why it happened, and whether you believe it or not Naruto was going to get over it after the war. I had just asked the question whether Armin should be brought back or not...I didn't ask you to complain about Naruto, but it's still your right. So let's just leave it there...
Since there is a lot of misunderstanding about this situation, please read this chapter very carefully as I have explained why Naruto is behaving like this...and it has very little to do with the Curse of Hatred. Naruto is not perfect...and we have to accept it. It has only been a few months since Armin died, in Cannon Kakashi lamented for 3 years over Obito before he met Team 7 and moved on. Just give him sometime...
I have a feeling that after this chapter you will understand why Naruto is behaving like this, you may not like it...but you'll at least be put off a little less.

Chapter 61
Judgement Day
Tobirama was a little surprised when he found himself standing in a strange dimension, there were only large stones in the area. Only darkness prevailed in the place, and a strange blue light illuminated the area, there was no trace of sunshine at all.
"So, he freed you too?" asked Toka patiently, bringing Tobirama out of his thoughts...
"Yeah..." said the Senju warrior hesitantly, just how did he erase the Edo Tensei?
"He has very powerful eyes, although they are his curse too..." replied Minato sadly, as Tobirama glared at him.
"You need to keep the boy in control. If you win this battle, you must imprison him or kill him...he's far too dangerous and unstable" said Tobirama harshly,
SLAP
Minato was stunned when his mother gave a tight slap on Tobirama's face, even the man was a little taken aback by this sudden attack until he came face to face with his pissed off wife, and the look in her eyes made him a little nervous...
"Tobirama Senju, if I hear anymore of your bullshit..." warned Toka murderously,
"He's a threat to Konoha..." said Tobirama honestly, but Toka didn't seem to care.
"Naruto is our blood, for Kami's sake he's our grandson. There is a world too outside the village...you never cared about family. You accuse Naruto to be unstable then you are no better. Tobi, in your life you too were obsessed with the village...and put everything above it, then it's no wonder that your grandson shares that trait..." replied Toka angrily, as Tobirama lowered his head with guilt clearly visible in his eyes.
"It's my fault that he turned out like this..." said Minato regretfully, as his parents looked at him expectantly.
"What's his story?" asked Toka curiously, there was a lot behind those eyes that burned with hatred.
"From the very beginning, Naruto was a very sensitive boy. He easily got affected by things around him, before this war started I was busy preparing Konoha for war and as such I wasn't able to give any time to him, and being the sensitive child that he was, it had adverse affects on him..." explained Minato hesitantly,
"I don't understand..." said Tobirama honestly,
"I was able to dedicate more time to my younger son, Itachi when the preparations were finished. By that time, my relationship with Naruto had soured badly. We didn't even talk beyond a few words...it was only due to Mikoto's tireless efforts that we were able to square out our differences" said Minato proudly, it was true that his wife was the greatest blessing to him and had kept his family together in the harshest times.
"Did Naruto hate his brother for this?" asked Tobirama intimidatingly, but was surprised when Minato shook his head.
"Quite the opposite, Naruto loved his brother. Probably even more than his parents, he never blamed Itachi for anything and protected him. Even going as far as entering the war to protect Itachi..." said Minato happily, bringing a smile on Toka's face while Tobirama felt a little ashamed of himself after hearing this.
"He mentioned he was a Blacklight commander? What's that?" asked Toka curiously,
"I created a secret special forces under Baku's leadership, a force mightier than the Anbu. The best soldiers of the world to protect Konoha in this war..." replied Minato seriously,
"Baku? He's alive?" asked Tobirama eagerly, it was sure some nice news that one of his loyal soldiers and student was still protecting Konoha.
"Alive and kicking, Blacklight are the best soldiers of the world. Naruto was a prodigy, a master of water style at the age of 7 and his sense of intelligence was far superior than any child his age. And there was a law which your formed Tou-san...a law which ordered every clan head to send one of their heirs to fight during the time of war" explained Minato briefly,
"You did that, Tobi?" asked Toka disappointedly, but her husband didn't seem to care.
"It was for the protection of Konoha...nothing else" said Tobirama proudly, and Minato decided to intervene before things got out of hand.
"I chose Naruto for this force at the age of 8, rather he volunteered for it if I kept Itachi out of this war. You have to understand, Naruto has a gift of inspiring people in impossible situations and he was a powerful boy. Konoha was against 3 great villages, their forces outnumbered us at least twice. I had to send Naruto to war..." said Minato pleadingly, as Tobirama agreed with him.
However disappointment was clearly visible in his mother's eyes...
"That's when things changed. He lost all contact with us for the next 7 years, I just met him right now after all these years. In that time frame, he became best friends with a boy called Armin..." said Minato truthfully,
"I've heard him speaking that name..." said Toka quickly, and Tobirama didn't like the direction in which this was going...
"Armin became his family. He was not just a friend, but I dare say he replaced Itachi. Naruto admired Armin, and when Naruto loves someone he loves them from all his heart. However this love turned into his greatest weakness..." said Minato sadly,
"A common trait among the Uchiha's. Minato, the way your son is acting...he will self destroy himself within a short period. I've seen this countless times, your son is a live example of Madara Uchiha. That man was a lot similar to Naruto, but when Izuna died he went mad and lost all interest in the world. He didn't even care if he lived or died, the only thing he cared about was destroying Konoha...but my brother stopped him" explained Tobirama briefly,
"What happened to Armin?" asked Toka hesitantly,
"He died during a special ops operation in Iwa, they were behind enemy lines in Iwa trying to capture Shuri Castle. The enemy ambushed them and Armin sacrificed himself to save Naruto..." said Minato sadly,
"And it awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan, didn't it?" asked Tobirama seriously,
"Yes, you've got to understand. Naruto went through hell in the past 7 years, he had his first kills when he was 8 and it was not pretty. Everyday was a fight to survive, but he was happy because he had his best friend by his side. He was made a company commander at the age of 13, and his first battle was against 4,000 Iwa shinobi. He led his comrades to victory as his commander died suddenly, despite the odds he emerged victorious. At shuri castle, he killed 300 Anbu forces and defeated the Four and Five Tails..." explained Minato briefly,
Tobirama was a little amazed by such feats, so the boy was indeed a good soldier of Konoha. While Toka was pleased on hearing about her grandson's bravery...
"He's a nice boy..." said Toka happily,
"When Armin died, Naruto went through the Curse of Hatred. He lost faith in everything, and all the pain and suffering that he had endured all these years came flooding back to him. He has done lot of terrible things, Naruto has killed thousands for Konoha. Armin is just a way through which he tries to explain his pain, but he does not let anyone in...it's his childhood habit" said Minato with a low chuckle,
"Minato it is protocol to retire Anbu after 3 years of service. Your son has been a Blacklight for 7 years, and carried the burden of leadership. From what you've told me, he has endured a lot. He was not fit for Blackops in the first place..." concluded Tobirama,
"Yeah..."
"But at the same time, I understand why you sent him. It was unavoidable and so is the current situation...we need to make him understand" replied Tobirama
"He didn't even cry, Naruto just bottles his emotions deep inside his heart and does not share his pain. I don't know what to do..." said Minato honestly, but was a little surprised when he saw a small smile on his mother's face.
"If we get through this, the very first thing you need to do is...make Naruto retire from Blacklight" advised Toka sagely, as a frown was etched on Minato's face.
"How would this help?" asked Minato curiously,
"Blacklight is one of the main reasons Naruto is still attached to Armin. That outfit is the place where he grew so close with that boy, and it is that place where he lost him. It continuously reminds him of what he has lost, and more so he is a major patient of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)...as such he needs to get away from that life" explained Toka in detail, and Tobirama also gave a firm nod agreeing with the suggestion.
"What should I do then?" asked Minato eagerly,
"You said Itachi was the person Naruto loved the most, and among the brothers he has better control over his emotions?" asked Tobirama seriously,
"Hai"
"Naruto is a good leader and in his own twisted way he is trying to protect everyone from feeling the pain that he went through. And the best way to save an Uchiha who has lost faith is to give him something in which he can pour his power and faith in. Naruto's love is his greatest strength and weakness, right now he has very little regard for his life, and the only way to save him is to make him feel that love again. It won't be easy Minato, and it will take a lot of time...but I believe if done right, Naruto can slowly move on..." explained Tobirama
"Tobi learned a lot of things from Hashirama-sama. Just as Hashirama-sama cared for people, Naruto cares for his comrades...something which Itachi lacks. Naruto has learned a lot of things from this world, and he can help his brother become a fine ninja...I believe the more time Naruto spends with Itachi, the more stronger their bond will become. If everything goes well, he may even forgive himself and move on..." said Toka, and Minato could see that hope in her eyes.
"Entrust him with the next generation, and let him develop the will of fire in them. A teacher trains his students and learns from them at the same time, and we think Naruto has all the abilities to be a good teacher..." replied Tobirama seriously,
Minato was stunned with the solution presented before him, it was indeed very helpful when someone had elders to guide them. He gave a deep bow to his parents bringing a smile on their faces...
"Arigatou..." said Minato happily,
"Is there anyone Naruto listens to, despite his stubborn nature?" asked Tobirama curiously, and this time Minato had a smile on his face.
"There is one person who can make him understand no matter what..."
(Battlefield)
CRACK
A was surprised when the Amaterasu armor of Mikoto shattered his bones and ripped his hand clean from his shoulders. The veteran Kumo ninja screamed in pain, but Mikoto didn't stop and gave him a hard kick on his face sending the man sailing away.
Just as A was about to crash on the ground, Tsunade and Mikoto were surprised when 4 Blacklight landed in four different corners of the battlefield and were already performing a set of hand seals.
"Shishienjin (Four Violet Flames Formation)"
Instantly a giant violet colored barrier was formed all around A trapping him inside the jutsu, and the look on the man's face was priceless.
"Tsunade-sama, please use your summon to corner the enemy forces. We'll trap this shinobi here..." requested Iwashi in a polite voice,
Mikoto looked at her superior who was standing on the top of her giant slug, her eyes then shifted towards the 4 man squad who had cornered A...
"Wasn't Blacklight supposed to be helping Kakashi in stabilizing Kiri?" asked Mikoto curiously,
"You're correct, Mikoto-sama. But we are not here on Baku's orders..." said Genma honestly,
"Then on whose orders are you here?" asked Tsunade sternly,
Rangiku slowly stepped forward and gave a small eye smile to Mikoto, who was a little surprised with her friendly gesture. She couldn't even see the girl's face due to her mask, but she was definitely giving her a smile.
"Namikaze Naruto..."
(Barrier)
The now controlled Hashirama stoically watched as Naruto removed his cloak and the shirt beneath it leaving him bare chested. The "God of Shinobi" could see his opponent had a well toned body with 6 pack abs, but more than that he had an enormous power inside that young body.
The only thing that remained on his chest was a small strap that was holding the sword on his back...
"After this is over, I will take your body...Naruto-kun" said Orochimaru a.k.a Hashirama excitedly,
"I don't swing that way..." replied Naruto, as his opponent chuckled.
"You're certainly an interesting one, before we do this...tell me what are you after? I know you didn't betray us just to protect Konoha..." said Orochimaru seriously, as a small smirk came on Naruto's face.
"Orochimaru, you always have an answer for everything, try to find out the answer to your question by yourself..." said Naruto seriously, as he flexed some of his muscles by moving his arms and legs.
"Very well then, but you will be defeated today. Naruto, you cannot defeat Hashirama..." said Orochimaru victoriously,
"I wonder about that..."
"Overconfident, are we?" asked Orochimaru disrespectfully,
"It applies to you actually. You the great Snake Sannin can't even control Hashirama without placing 50 restraining seals all over his body besides the seal in his neck that allows you to control him. It just shows how pathetic you are..." said Naruto arrogantly, and he noticed the anger in Hashirama's eyes.
Both of them were currently standing on top of a small lake which was create due to the previous battles with Tobirama. And it was just what Naruto needed in his current situation to gain advantage over his opponent...
Hashirama quickly jumped away when Naruto grabbed 5 shurikens between his fingers, but he was a little alarmed when Naruto glared at him.
"Suiton: Suigadan (Water Style: Water Fang Bullet)"
The "God of Shinobi" was slammed hard by powerful water waves that emerged all around him.
Following the momentum, Naruto jumped high in the air and unleashed his shuriken towards the fallen Hashirama...but it didn't end there as Naruto had already performed a set of hand seals.
"Katon Hosenka no Jutsu (Phoenix Sage Fire Technique)"
The incoming shuriken got turned into small fireballs that were dashing quickly towards Hashirama...
"He used those shurikens as a distraction first, and attacked me with his water style. The fact that he doesn't need hand seals for many of his attacks proves he has mastered water style, in that case..." thought Orochimaru seriously,
"Not so fast, pedo" said a new voice,
Before Hashirama could perform any kind of counter attack, another Naruto emerged from beneath the water surface and grabbed him fiercely as the fireballs got closer.
"He formed a Mizu (Water) clone without any hand seal and made him sneak up on me, and now it's..." thought Orochimaru bitterly, as he realized the clone was focusing all his chakra on a single pressure point and the fireballs were just about to strike him...which meant only one thing,
BOOM!
A large explosion occurred sending powerful tremors across the entire lake, as Naruto swiftly landed on the water surface. He was not at all surprised when half of Hashirama's body was blown apart and was now recovering rapidly.
"Controlling a legend like Hashirama is one thing, but it doesn't mean you can unleash his full potential as per your whims. He's the greatest warrior of this world, and a coward like you can't do anything. And you're forgetting...I'm the Nidaime Taichou of Blacklight" said Naruto murderously, and clasped his hands together.
Hashirama's eyes widened in shock, when the entire battlefield starting shaking...
"Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Kōtan (Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees)"
Hundreds of giant wooden trees rose from beneath the lake and started spreading across the entire barrier. Hashirama couldn't move due to his body being in the process of healing, and Naruto inverted his clasped towards Hashirama's position as the entire attack was instantly diverted towards his ancestor.
"This is bad..." thought Orochimaru in panic,
Hashirama quickly performed a single hand seal and slammed his hand hard on the water surface...
"Mokuton: Mokuryū no Jutsu (Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique)"
Naruto was shocked when a gigantic dragon emerged from the water surface and the recovering Hashirama jumped on top of it. It was the largest attack that he had seen in his entire life, and those dark yellow eyes of the wood dragon made him a little nervous.
His worries didn't end there as the wood dragon smashed through his forest attack and was now heading towards him...
"I can't use Susanoo for at least 3 more minutes. Hashirama can easily be freed if I remove all those extra seals on his body, and I need to preserve my last Kamimusuhi for another battle. Under no circumstances can I use my last genjutsu on this battle...in that case," thought Naruto quickly, and performed a single hand seal.
"KageBunshin No Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique)"
Immediately 4 shadow clones were formed around him and were now looking at him for further orders...
"Combination B!"
"Roger" yelled all the clones in unison,
The clone squad quickly jumped towards the incoming dragon as Naruto performed a familiar set of hand seals and slammed his hand on the water surface.
"Doton: Yomi Numa(Swamp of the Underworld.)"
An entire portion of the lake was instantly turned into a mud swamp that trapped the giant wooden dragon inside it, just as the 4 shadow clones reached towards the dragon.
The first shadow clone performed 3 simultaneous hand seals and pointed his finger at the dragon's mid-section...
"Fuuton Suraisu no Tatsumaki (Wind Release: Slicing Tornado Jutsu)"
A high speed wind tornado was unleashed on the wood dragon's mid section and it started cutting through it slowly and slowly. Meanwhile the second shadow clone had already performed his set of hand seals.
"Raiton: Shichu Shibari(Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind)"
4 large pillars rose from the ground and started sending electric shock waves to the already tormented wood dragon making it scream in pain...
Just as the dragon opened its mouth, the remaining 2 shadow clones jumped straight into it as Naruto performed a single hand seal.
"Bunshin Daibakuha (Clone Great Explosion)"
Hashirama quickly jumped away from his dragon as it was destroyed in a giant explosion. This was the only weakness of the wood dragon, it could sustain powerful attacks from outside but from the inside it was extremely fragile.
A fact which his opponent seemed to know very well...
And Naruto had already performed his last hand seal and gathered a large portion of his chakra.
"Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique)"
A giant water dragon equivalent in size to Hashirama's previous wood dragon was formed by Naruto and was now heading straight towards Hashirama who quickly made a hand seal.
"Mokuton: Mokujōheki (Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall)"
Hashirama formed several wooden pillars around him which instantly combined with each other and formed a large oval shaped dome just as the water dragon clashed on that position.
Naruto saw the water dragon was trying hard to break through the dome, but was not getting much results. But this was what he exactly needed...
He quickly used his sensor skills and located a few familiar chakra signatures across the battlefield...
"Team 1, is your objective accomplished?" asked Naruto in an authoritative manner,
"Yes, we have secured Itachi and are heading towards the rendezvous point..." replied Mikasa proudly,
"Good work" congratulated Naruto, and cut off the link.
"Team 2, what is your status?" asked Naruto quickly, as he saw his water dragon about to be defeated...
"Mission accomplished, Captain. We have captured A inside the barrier, just as you ordered. Captain, your mother knows..." said Iwashi hesitantly, as a small smile came on Naruto's face.
Indeed he had told Rangiku to say the truth to his mother, she had suffered enough on behalf of his lies. It was time he came clean...
"Is she alright?" asked Naruto in a concerned voice,
"She's a little exhausted, but fine. Though it will take some time before she can absorb this shock...she's hyperventilating..." said Iwashi honestly,
"Get her a medic..." replied Naruto quickly,
"Already done, Tsunade-sama's clone is already healing her and stabilizing her..." said Iwashi honestly,
"Just tell her...I'm coming home" replied Naruto sadly, and quickly cut off the link.
He could not afford to lose focus in this battle, no matter the circumstances. He had already destroyed more than half of the restraining seals on Hashirama's body, if he could just remove the remaining seals then his ancestor could easily regain himself and override Orochimaru's control...
And a free, fully strengthened Hashirama was vital for his victory in this war...
"Team 3, are the hostages in position?" asked Naruto seriously, as his water dragon got destroyed and Hashirama walked out of his wooden dome.
"Yes, sir. We are already near Iwa's army, they are currently being crushed by Hiruzen-sama and Kagami-sama. With this, we can defeat them..." said Izumo confidently,
"Acknowledged"
"Team 4, have you captured the target?" asked Naruto in a calm voice,
"Yes, Bee has been defeated as per your strategy. It worked Naruto, but I'm gonna kill you..." said Kushina angrily, as Naruto just chuckled on hearing her voice, after all he did make her blow up her own hand.
"Sorry, Kushina...I'll make it up to you. Please be careful and reach the location I gave you..." requested Naruto politely,
"I will and you better not do something reckless. I'm not done with you yet..." said Kushina silently, and Naruto just smiled on hearing the concern and affection in her voice.
"Just hold on...today, I'll end this war once and for all.." said Naruto with determination in his voice, as his Mangekyo quickly came to life.
Hashirama had now finally reformed his entire body and was ready to attack him again, and this just brought a menacing smile on his face.
"You're games are over now, Naruto-kun. Now Konoha shall crumble..." said Orochimaru madly,
"You're forgetting Konoha is my home, and as it's ninja I'm entrusted with my home's protection. I am a commander of Konoha, and you will have to destroy me first before you can even think of attacking Konoha...and I warn you it will not be easy" replied Naruto murderously,
Hashirama quickly ran towards Naruto, and the boy too covered his entire body in blue chakra and ran towards his opponent...
"What is Konoha, anyway? A mere cluster of rocks, and you're just a footnote in the pathetic history of those rocks and huts. And today I shall destroy all the Hokage faces along with that place..." replied Orochimaru in an angry voice, and threw several shuriken towards Naruto.
The young Namikaze quickly took out his sword and easily deflected the incoming projectiles while continuing his run towards Hashirama...
"You can never understand, it's far more than a mere cluster of huts. It is a place where heroes are born, raised, fight and die to protect their home...these people are important to me, we shared our homes, we shared our lives and though none of us are related by blood they are still my family" said Naruto passionately as he remembered all his comrades who had fallen to protect his nation, and raised his sword high in the air.
Hashirama quickly transformed his hands into giant wooden swords and was just about to pierce Naruto's chest as he neared towards him...
"You too will fall today..." yelled Orochimaru victoriously,
SLASH
Hashirama smiled happily when his wooden hands pierced clean thorough Naruto's chest, as the boy coughed violently in pain.
"And (cough) even if I fall one day...you will still fail. (Cough) I'm...only...one...of...a...long...line...I...served...and...fought...for...my (cough)...nation...for...those...heroes...that...came...before...me...and...those...that...shall...come...after me. I'm NARUTO NAMIKAZE!" yelled Naruto passionately,
SLASH
Hashirama gasped in shock when Naruto pierced his sword clean through his chest, and his Mangekyo spinned quickly...
"Amaterasu"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
The "God of Shinobi" screamed in agony as his entire body got engulfed in black flames, and the restraining seals on his body got destroyed.
Naruto crashed on the ground and coughed up a lot of blood, all of his chakra was gone now and he didn't have any strength left him now. He saw Hashirama's body being burnt from all places, and quickly extinguished his black flames.
"It's finally over...we won, everyone" said Naruto tiredly, as he felt his heartbeat getting slower and his eyes slowly started to close.
He was a little surprised when a badly burnt Hashirama crawled towards him and placed one of his hands on his wounds as a bright green colored chakra glowed and started healing his wounds.
Both grand uncle and grand nephew could only give weak nods to convey their message, but it was enough to convey that they had won...
The Fourth Great Ninja War was finally over...
(A Few Minutes Later)
BOOM!
Every ninja on the battlefield was shocked when 3 giant Bijudama's were blasted high in the sky. They didn't kill anyone, but it certainly stopped all the fighting as a powerful shock wave passed through the entire battlefield.
"To, the Heavenly Alliance...I am the 4th heir of the Namikaze clan, Naruto Namikaze"
All the shinobi were shocked when the heard that voice, and their eyes shifted towards a boy who was standing on top of a tall mountain cliff. He was wearing a dark black coat and light blue pants, his face was covered by a black colored face mask and there was a large sword strapped on his back. His silky blonde hair were flowing wildly due to the strong winds...but the most important thing were his murderous red colored eyes and the Konoha headband on his forehead.
The Raikage was alarmed when he saw numerous people standing beside the boy. And they were none other than the 3 Edo Tensei along with Minato Namikaze...
But his shock, didn't end there as he saw a chakra covered female Jinchuuriki along with the former Mizukage (Yagura) standing around a defeated Bee and had a sword on his neck, ready to kill him at a moment's notice.
Even Jiraiya was surprised with this move...what the hell was going on?
Tsunade just smiled peacefully when she spotted the large smile on Mikoto's face and the tears in her eyes, as her eyes were currently fixed on the boy standing on the cliff...
While on the other side of the field, Hiruzen and Kagami had victorious smiles on their faces when they saw Naruto and the terrified look on Ohnoki and the Iwa army's faces when they saw Kurotsuchi and Kitsuchi...the granddaughter and son of the Tsuchikage and powerful shinobi of Iwa. Both of them were facing an entire Blacklight squad that had their kunai launchers aimed at their heads...ready to take their lives at any moment.
"Orochimaru has been defeated..." said Naruto victoriously,
"You're shitting me...'' said a Kumo Anbu,
"Impossible..."
Many Kumo ninja collapsed on their knees when they saw their hero Bee being captured, and A was trapped inside the barrier. It only signified one thing...
"Now, both the Edo Tensei and the Jinchuuriki are under my control. The Heavenly Alliance does not possess the power to fight against me anymore. But if you still insist on fighting...I shall show you my power!" threatened Naruto murderously, and unleashed a powerful wave of chakra and killing intent that made many young ninja fall flat on the ground.
"Kuso!" yelled the Sandaime Raikage angrily, and signaled his soldiers to lower their weapons.
"There is no need for this pointless war. Today, as of this moment...the world is in my hands!" yelled Naruto victoriously,
Minato couldn't believe his eyes, when the entire Kumo army along with the Raikage surrendered and slowly the Iwa army had also started to drop their weapons, as they realized that their trump cards as well as their leaders were done for. Author's Notes: Well, that's it for this arc...
It's been a year since I started this story, and it's almost 300,000 words making it my biggest story. And you won't believe it, but it is only 40% completed till now...and I have lots and lots of things left (Around 7 to 8 arcs, I think. And most of them are big ones)
Now, I know I'm not perfect and I'm not a professional writer, neither I want to be one. I'm just here to write a story, and at the start I mentioned that English is not my language, hell Hindi is my mother tongue with Gujarati as second. Even then I try my best to write something that is readable than 90% of the stories on this site, so yes you can give me advice on how to improve my writing but bitching about it every time is not good, you know...leave the story anytime you want, no one's forcing you.
Apart from that, I'd like that address that I have a vision for this Naruto and his development is a very slow process. I remember some 20 chapters back, people were telling him to get over Ikiryo and accept him, and he did as it was the right time. Now Armin is a major issue which I explained in this chapter, regardless of your complaints in the previous chapter I was going to make Naruto move forward after the war but you totally misunderstood my question. I meant that whether Armin should be brought back or not? And since many of you share the same feelings, I'll make Naruto get over it sooner...but before that he will face a hell of a lot more difficulties, and it's not just his grief but many more things that are waiting for him back home.
I have left small hints throughout this arc as to what will could happen once the war is over...
And yes, the romance will get a priority from now on although the plot will constantly move forward. I'm not much of a romantic person, so let's see how I can develop my 3 pairings of Naruto, besides the ItachiSaku.
My next update will be for Humanity's Last Stand and Sharingan Devil, I'll update this story after a week or two as I need to devise the format for the next arc.
Now, I don't know if it's possible or not...but I would really appreciate it if you guys drop a review as the arc has ended. I made a bet with Stana, that I'll at least be reaching 2000 reviews by the end of the war arc (And I really wanna win that bet). And I'm just 62 reviews short, so it's up to you. I just want to win this bet, and if I do I guarantee that I will update within one week...but more than that, I really want to know what you guys felt about this entire arc (I mean, how you felt about the fight scenes, character development, twists, romance, strategies, and many more things).
