I understand that while you guys enjoyed the fight, you can't understand why Baku got the Kyuubi in him or how did he do it? How is he even able to control it to at least 10% power, and beyond...and while frustrating for me to read all those reviews saying I overpowered Baku, I am completely sure this chapter will explain the reasons behind it.

Naruto fought bravely and with skill, however he still has no control over his power. And I remind you he was not beaten, the fight is still on...

I had to change the title of this chapter again as it was not fitting with the content. Hope you understand...

Chapter 72

World of Lies

(Amegakure)

Madara patiently sat in the chair of his small room, beside him were Pein and Konan and from the looks on their faces they appeared quite anxious.

"Madara, what shall be our plan now? We lost the war and Konoha is still standing, Orochimaru has defected from the Akatsuki rendering us another man down..." explained Pein frustratedly, as Madara just waived his hand nonchalantly.

"Orochimaru is a selfish bastard, he wanted the Akatsuki to attack Konoha and steal the freed Edo Tensei just so he could have more fun with them. That move would have exposed us to the world sooner than we'd like. Orochimaru wants to destroy Konoha at any costs, our mission is to save the world...not to fall for one man's selfish ambitions" replied Madara honestly,

"Even then we have suffered a big defeat which has pushed our plans far back. And with Naruto back with Konoha and the information he has regarding us, it can spell deep trouble for us..." suggested Konan smartly, as Madara just took a deep breath.

The Ame shinobi were surprised when Zetsu appeared inside the room and he had a bloody wounded Blacklight in his hand...

"Madara-sama, as per your orders we have retrieved this blood clone from Osaka..." answered White Zetsu

"The rest of Naruto's shadow clones were destroyed in the battle, and this one's alive barely. Although they eliminated most of the 2nd company of Blacklight..." replied Black Zetsu seriously,

"And what about the surviving Blacklight?" asked Madara sternly,

"Taken care of. The only one that is alive now is him...but he's barely breathing and is currently surviving on my chakra" advised White Zetsu

Pein immediately got up from his seat and banged his fist on the table...

"Madara, he's a Naruto blood clone. He'll pass every information to his maker when he gets destroyed..." warned Pein, as Madara shook his head

"You're wrong. Unlike shadow clones, Blood Clones are independent soldiers that share no connection with their maker, as such they cannot pass any information. This is the only weakness of the Blood Clone Technique..." explained Madara in detail,

"But this technique was only known to the Uzumaki clan..." said Konan suspiciously, making Madara chuckle.

"Konan, I've been around for a long time and there are a lot of secrets of the shinobi world that I know..." replied Madara honestly,

"Then why did you bring this clone here?" asked Pein curiously, as Madara pointed a finger at Zetsu.

"White Zetsu, connect this clone to the Gedo Mazou, wipe out his consciousness and reprogram him, after that use him to create our very own unbeatable blood clone army." ordered Madara proudly, as every Akatsuki member was shocked.

"But the plan was to make White Zetsu clones, Madara-sama" countered Black Zetsu

"We will only be able to make 30,000 of these Blood Clones as they require tremendous chakra. While with the same chakra, we can make 100,000 white Zetsu clones" suggested Pein seriously,

"Pein, Naruto is going to build an empire by uniting the whole world. Every ninja village, clans, armies, samurai, and other warriors of this planet. White Zetsu clones may outnumber his army by a small margin, but they can be easily killed. No offense" said Madara strictly, as White Zetsu sighed defeatedly.

But it seemed his comrades were still unconvinced, and so he decided to further his argument...

"While our army would be small, these clones will be better than 60% of the ninja in Naruto's army. They will be stronger, faster, and more intelligent...moreover when the people of the world see Naruto's on our side, they'll lose trust in the real Naruto and his empire would crumble making us victorious in our crusade" announced Madara happily,

"Naruto is just one man..." argued Konan in an irritated voice, why was Madara so cautious of Naruto, he was just a young boy.

"He's more than just a man, look what he did to us. We underestimated him once and he shot all our plans back to hell, I am the leader of the Akatsuki and I will not make such a mistake again...do you understand?" asked Madara furiously, and leaked a tremendous amount of KI making Konan sit back in her seat.

"Madara, while we do believe in your plan and you. However, your actions in these past few days have been quite suspicious...handing over the Hologram technique to Baku, as well as Hashirama's cells, not to mention helping the lunatic in the extraction and re-sealing of the Kyuubi within himself. What the hell are you doing?" asked Pein fiercely, as Madara just smiled.

"Why fight your enemy when you can control them. Konoha won the war due to Blacklight, and now that force has been completely destroyed. 2nd company is history, 3rd is getting destroyed as we speak and so is Baku's personal guard. Only 1st company would be left, and it would take Konoha years to reform Blacklight...within one move I have destroyed Konoha's strongest Vanguard force" explained Madara deviously,

Pein was absolutely stunned with the result, in many ways Naruto and Madara were master tacticians in the art of warfare and now his leader had achieved another vital victory that had turned the tide of the war.

"All for one man's greed...but I still think we should capture the Kyuubi when we have the chance" advised Konan sagely, as Madara disagreed again.

"I need the Gedo Mazou's power to make our army, it'll take us a few months for that. In the meantime, let the ninja villages try to rebuild themselves and when they feel they're safe...I'll hit them all personally, starting with Konoha" declared Madara ambitiously,

"And how do you plan to do that?" asked Pein curiously, as Madara just looked in the sky.

"I already have..."

(Baku's Castle)

Iwashi silently gave a hidden nod to Mikasa and the rest of his comrades as he slowly disabled the restraining seals on his body. They were strong enough to hold his comrades, but for a Fuinjutsu expert like him... it was only a matter of time before he got rid of them.

Their Blacklight guards were currently chatting among themselves, and they looked quite worried as the sounds of battle got louder with each passing second...

"That bastard Namikaze killed 70 of our comrades, Baku-sama is fighting with him now...what if he falls? There are only 40 of us left and where the fuck is Commander Dragon, he's the leader of 3rd company...he should be here to support our troops" argued one Blacklight guard angrily,

"Calm down, Fish. Baku-sama will get rid of that swine Naruto...though I agree, something is wrong. We last saw Commander Dragon with Baku-sama" said his fellow Blacklight guard, while the other 3 just continued to keep an eye across the corridor.

In their conversation, they failed to see Iwashi stealthily removing the restraining seals of his comrades...

"Hey, do you hear that?" asked the Blacklight guard again,

"Hear wh-"

The Blacklight guard squad was alarmed when Yagura blasted the prison door to pieces, and the last thing the first guard saw was Mikasa jumping towards him.

"Contact the comm-"

The remaining guards were easily overwhelmed by Mikasa's team, and they quickly picked up the kunai launchers of the now 'dead' guards.

The small Blacklight squad of 13 members quickly encircled around Mikasa, as she pointed a finger at Hana...

"Hana, sniff out Kushina's scent. We need to rescue her now..." commanded Mikasa, as her Inuzuka comrade used her sharp nose and pointed her finger in the south-west direction of the castle.

"I can feel her scent in that direction along with 40 other scents, presumably the enemy forces. Captain" advised Hana, and watched curiously as Mikasa drew three lines on the ground bringing a smile on Yagura's face, as the Mizukage understood the girl's strategy.

"There are 3 paths towards Kushina's location, all leading us straight towards the enemy forces. The Blacklight guards will be armed with kunai launchers and will decimate us in a head on attack..." explained Mikasa honestly, as Rangiku pointed her finger on the right side path.

"I'll take these 5 rookies with me and hit the enemy forces from this side..." suggested Rangiku, as Mikasa gave a firm nod.

"Good thinking, Rangiku. I'll use the other path and will attack the enemy from the left side. Izumo, and everyone else you'll be on my team..." commanded Mikasa, getting understanding nods from her comrades.

"While I'll take the central path and hit the enemy head on. I can't be killed easily due to my Biju's powers, and I can provide you necessary time to launch a surprise attack on the enemy forces...effectively wiping them out in one single strike" said Yagura seriously, making Mikasa smile.

"Let's kill some Blacklight scum..."

(Outside Kushina's Sealing Chamber)

The soldiers of Baku's personal guard were keenly observing their sectors, they had suddenly lost contact with every other Blacklight teams in the castle including the guard squad of the prisoners.

And they had been ordered by Baku to protect Kushina at all costs and not take a step inside her chambers...

Ox, the leader of the Personal Guard was shocked when he saw Yagura charging towards his forces at tremendous speed...

"Soldiers, kill him!" commanded Ox, and ran straight towards Yagura while his soldiers fired their kunai launchers at the Mizukage.

Ox quickly tried to slice Yagura in half with his sword, but the Mizukage easily evaded the attack and chopped of the Blacklight soldier's head with his chakra laced hand.

Yagura had to immediately use his Biju chakra to defend himself from the showers of kunai that were being fired at him...

"Now..." thought Yagura

BOOM!

The Blacklight forces were shocked when the sealed doors on their left and right side were blasted away and several Blacklight charged in the chamber firing large number of kunai at them with the help of their kunai launchers.

The sudden attack instantly broke the formation of the Blacklight Guard force, as Yagura destroyed 7 Blacklight in the front. While Rangiku and Mikasa killed several Blacklight from the left and right side.

One by one the once strong 40 member Blacklight guard force were reduced to 5 fighting shinobi, and one of them charged straight towards Rangiku...

"For BAKU-SAMA!" yelled the Blacklight and jumped towards Rangiku.

But before the man could even reach the girl he was shot down by several chakra arrows fired by Rangiku that killed him instantly.

"Delusional jackass..." said Rangiku bitterly, and gave a firm nod to Mikasa who just finished killing the last enemy soldier.

Yagura was quite impressed with these soldiers, they were a deadly Blackops unit. No wonder Konoha won the war, if they had such soldiers on their side...

"Iwashi, blast this door. 3 of you rookies will stay outside and guard the perimeter. Notify me immediately if you spot any enemy...Hana you will be in charge of this team" commanded Mikasa

"Yes, Captain" replied Hana quickly, and formed the perimeter with her other 3 comrades as Iwashi stepped beside the door and placed a small seal on it.

The boy pointed 3 fingers at Mikasa, as everyone braced themselves...

BOOM!

The door of the sealing chamber was destroyed quickly as Mikasa and her squad swiftly stepped inside the room...

"Clear left" answered Genma,

"Clear Right" replied Izumo,

Mikasa gave a final glance at the vast chambers and found no trace of any enemy forces and lowered her weapon down.

"All clear. Team, spread out across the room. Re-check for any hidden enemies...I don't want us getting ambushed again" said Mikasa seriously,

"On it" replied Anko, as she, Izumo and Genma started searching the room for any hidden enemies.

Mikasa was just observing the various strange pictures in the room when a loud gasp from Shizune diverted her attention...

"Kushina!" yelled Shizune in shock, and ran towards her comrade who was lying still on a large platform deep inside the chamber.

Rangiku and Mikasa quickly followed after Shizune as the medic stepped beside Kushina and put her finger on the woman's neck...

"She's alive..." said Shizune, making her comrades sigh in relief but Yagura sensed something.

"Her body is deeply harmed from the inside, I can sense half of her power gone. Somebody has tampered with her Biju..." explained Yagura honestly, but before Mikasa could ask her question Genma shouted.

"Captain, you should see this" said Genma patiently, and as Mikasa stepped beside her comrade she was surprised on seeing the body of another Blacklight.

"He's Dragon, commander of 3rd company. Our guards were saying the man was missing and was last seen with Baku...now we know what happened" replied Izumo seriously, as Mikasa checked the body.

"There are no wounds on his body, nor can I feel any internal injuries or traces of poison. Neither are any of his bones broken, he's just dead..." said Mikasa in surprise, something was definitely wrong.

The man lying dead before her was a commander of an entire Blacklight company, what could have killed him?

"Mikasa, Kushina's collapsing!" yelled Rangiku urgently,

She quickly ran towards the wounded Jinchuuriki and saw Shizune and Yagura desperately trying to heal her, but the woman was just shaking tremendously and coughing up blood.

"Medical chakra is not working...Shit" cursed Shizune,

Even Yagura seemed to be failing in saving his fellow Jinchuuriki...when a sudden idea came in Mikasa's head.

"Bring me the Yamanaka Rookie, in order to save Kushina we must know what wound she has suffered. NOW!" ordered Mikasa urgently,

"Right away, Mikasa!" replied Rangiku devotedly, and ran out of the chamber in order to fetch the Yamanaka Rookie Blacklight that was currently stationed on the outside perimeter.

(Few Moments Later)

A young boy and girl could be seen standing around Kushina. Both of them were currently dressed in their Blacklight uniform and were the youngest member in their squad. The boy had his sharingan active, while the girl had performed the famous hand signs of the Yamanaka clan.

"Izuna, use your sharingan and hypnotize Kushina, so that Hikari can easily extract information from her..." said Mikasa urgently, as the young 12 year old boy just looked at his leader nervously.

"I don't know, Mikasa-taichou. I just have a regular sharingan, and Kushina-san is a Jinchuuriki. Why can't Hikari enter straight inside her mind?" asked Izuna curiously,

"We can't risk Hikari's life too. Don't forget entering a Jinchuuriki's mind is dangerous...you don't want to know what the Kyuubi can do" advised Yagura sagely,

Mikasa just stepped beside the young Uchiha and put a hand on his shoulder, after all he was the youngest in the entire squad and just a Rookie.

"Trust me, it will be fine" encouraged Mikasa, making the boy give a hesitant nod and he stepped in front of Kushina.

Rangiku slowly opened one of Kushina's eyes, while Shizune and Yagura continued to perform medical ninjutsu on Kushina, for whatever it was worth.

"Genjutsu: Sharingan"

Izuna just gave a small thumbs up to Mikasa while continuing to look into Kushina's eyes with his sharingan. Genma quickly gave the signal as Hikari Yamanaka slammed both of her hands on Kushina's forehead.

"Senzai ishiki Transmission No Jutsu (Subconscious Mind Transmission Technique)"

"I have established link with Kushina's subconscious mind. You only have 2 minutes, Captain..." explained Hikari urgently, as Mikasa stepped beside Kushina.

"Kushina, who did this to you?" asked Mikasa seriously,

"Baku..."

"What is wrong with you? Are you injured or something else?" questioned Mikasa,

"Baku extracted half of my Biju..."

"WHAT!"

Mikasa gave a threatening glare silencing her shocked comrades and instantly shifted her attention towards Kushina...

"How did he do it?" asked Mikasa curiously,

"Baku made a Blacklight commander perform the Reaper Death Seal, and used that jutsu to divide my Biju..." answered Kushina weakly,

'Captain, I'm losing the link..." yelled Hikari Yamanaka urgently, and Izuna tried to keep Kushina under his hypnosis by forcing more chakra into his genjutsu.

"Why did Baku extract the Kyuubi from you? And where is the Biju now?" asked Mikasa quickly,

"He sealed it within himself on Madara Uchiha's orders..."

At that moment, the real mastermind of the civil war was revealed...

Author's Notes: End of chapter.

I bet this chapter cleared up many of the mysteries surrounding the recent few chapters and what has been the Akatsuki doing with their new operation. I would still advise you guys to NOT jump to big conclusions, as the rest of the mystery will be revealed in the next chapter along with the second half of the fight.

And if you're wondering how Dragon was able to perform Reaper Death Seal, then refer to chapter 19 in which Commander Fox said that Minato had taught every Blacklight company commander (Including Baku) the "Reaper Death Seal". So, no plot hole there...

I am not Kishi, and I certainly don't power up my villains just to make a fight interesting. There will always be some hidden angle behind my decisions...after all I'm Blackwolf501- The Evil Cliffhanger King and mystery writer XD! (Just Kidding, though these titles are perfect for me)

Everything is never exactly as we see it, and even though Naruto and his comrades are becoming stronger. They are scoring victories, the enemy is also putting up a smart, tough fight and will not go down so easily and I have connected so many links with these chapters (including a Mini-arc).

My aim here is to create a engaging, thrilling AU story with the final objective of making it one of the most epic AU stories on this site. (Though it already has become epic to some extent)
