Chapter 14 reunion

Rose's Story:

Rose sat in the house that was supposed to be hers and Nick's. She stared at the library and at the chair where she found Nick's mother killed by a daimon. She looked away as tears formed in her eyes. She missed her Nick. She walked to the kitchen and began to prepare dinner for her Asuki. She should be focused on finding Cherise, but there was nothing she could do. She was a fighter and could take down any demon or daimon that crossed her path, but she couldn't travel through dimensions like her daughter could. She knew Cherise was across another dimension. Asuki was training with Jared to be able to cross dimensions. She set down the knife as she was about to cut up some celery for the gumbo she was about to make and put the celery. It just wasn't in her to cook today. She needed to get out. She walked upstairs to her room and put on a pair of leather pants and a black skin tight tank top with leather boots with six inch stilleto heels. She grabbed her black lipstick putting it on and pulled her long red hair up into a ponytail. She smiled and walked out the door hiding some knives in her boots. She walked to sanctuary sighing.

Nick:

Nick was walking down Ursulines cursing every step he took. He hated taking orders from Acheron but technically he was Nick's boss and he had to do what he said and he was livid. It was Acheron's fault he was a dark-hunter. It was his fault that his mother had died. Everything was his fault. He walked to sanctuary with a hood on and his hair covering his face. He hadn't seen Rose either. He couldn't bear to face after what he did. He sighed and walked inside Sanctuary staring at Dev giving him a nod.

Rose:

Rose walked up to the sanctuary bar and gave Dev a fake smile. "Hey Dev, how is everything tonight?"

"Hey Rose, what are you doing? Haven't seen you in a while? Any news on Cherise?"

Rose shook her head and sighed as she looked at him. "Honestly I want a few drinks and go home and start my day over. Don't get me wrong working for Selena is amazing. It just isn't helping me find my daughter." He smiled and she looked at him walking inside.

She sat down at the bar and looked at Abertio. "Hey Abertio, Yasmina says hi and she can't wait for tonight."

He smiled and looked at her. "I am glad about that."

She smiled and ordered a drink when a chill went through, she never felt this before. She got up quickly and turned around and scanned the room in a circle and saw a man in a cloak giving off a very dark energy. He wasn't looking at her but he was very dangerous. Rose turned to look at Abertio. "Hey, who is that?"

Abertio looked at him and shrugged, "No one knows his name but he is the new dark-hunter in town. He doesn't talk much."

"Hm, Acheron didn't mention a new Dark-Hunter in town, better go say hi."

She hopped off her bar stool and walked over to the gentlemen and smiled. "Hello, you must be the new dark-hunter, I'm Rose, not an official dark-hunter but really close friends with them."

Nick turned to stare at Rose as she said hi to him and he closed his eyes and looked at her. He was speechless, he tried so hard to avoid her and here she was introducing herself to him.

Rose put her hands on her hips and rolled her eyes walking away from him and shaking her head. "That's the last time I'm nice to someone." She walked away as All About Us by Owl City and He Is We came on. She stopped dead in her tracks as tears formed in her eyes.

The dark-hunter behind her grabbed her hand and looked at her. "May I have this dance?"

Rosalinda pulled her hand out of his grip. "I am sorry, no, I am happily married to the greatest man alive even if he isn't here right now. I know he'll come home soon."

He reached for her again and pulled his sunglasses off. "Rose it's me."

Rose stared at him as a multitude of feelings went through her. She stepped away from him and shook her head. "You can't be Nick, the man I loved would never have sold his soul to Artemis."

She ran from sanctuary crying and all the way to her house and sat in the kitchen as tears rolled down her cheeks. She put her hands in her head. This was too much all at once for her to deal with. She picked up the phone and called her father. He picked up on the second ring. "Daddy, I need someone to talk to can I come over, I don't want to worry Asuki." He said she could she walked outside and walked towards her father's house and sat down on the couch and held one of the little boys in the house.

Grace walked in and sat down next to her and pet her hair as she cried into her sister's arms. "Gracie, he's a dark-hunter."

"Who's a dark-hunter Rosie?"

"Nick…"

Julian gasped as he walked inside the room. "Does Kyrian know?"

Rose shook her head. "Neither does Asuki and I would like to keep it that way?"

Nick:

Nick knew he couldn't avoid it any longer he walked to the house he knew she lived in and knocked on the door.

A girl with long blue hair opened the door. "Look I am kinda busy right now can I help you?"

"Does a Rosalinda Gautier live here?"

The girl looked at him with a glare. "Why who's asking?

"A dark-hunter it's too far away from my home and it's almost sunset he said Acheron said I could stay here."

Asuki shrugged and let the man in and she sat down on the counter eating a sandwich and some chips.

"Where's Rose?"

"I don't know where she went, mom gets in these moods a lot lately ever since Cherise disappeared."

"Who's Cherise?"

"My sister…" She got off the counter and walked towards a map of all dimensions and placed a scrying crystal above it focusing her energy into her crystal like Jared had taught her. The crystal swayed back and forth. She sat there for like fifteen minutes as nothing happened. She cursed as she slammed the crystal down.

The man laughed softly as he looked at the crystal. "You know scrying doesn't work for everyone. It doesn't work for me. It may not work for you either."

The girl turned around and put her hands on her hips and glared at him. "What the hell do you know? You have no idea how important my sister is to me. She was kidnapped on my watch. She didn't inherit the powers like a did. She's practically human." She turned around picked up her maps and scrying crystal and put them away. "Now I am aware that you are a dark-hunter but I have to make a phone call and it would be best if you just stayed in the living room for it."

She called her mom as being in the same house with a dark-hunter is fine but being on her own with a dark-hunter she couldn't handle this one on her own he gave off a bad vibe that she definitely didn't like. After a couple of tries her mother finally picked up. "Hey mom I don't know where you are but if you could come home soon that would be great there's a dark-hunter here and he's definitely freaking me out."

She heard her mom gasp as she said real quickly that she would be home within the next fifteen minutes.

Rose hung up the phone with a shrug and walked into the living and leaned on the wall as the man looked around hesitantly at the furniture. "You know you can sit down our furniture doesn't bite." She sat down on a chair as she texted Jared that she would be a little late for her lessons today.

Asuki stared at the man with curiosity. "You look so much alike." She breathed softly and stood up and stared out the window grabbing her arms and sighing.

She saw her mom drive up the driveway with Asuki's grandfather, Julian, and Kyrian. She thought that was odd for her mother and when her mom came in the room and burst into tears and sobs Asuki was utterly confused. She quickly turned to look at the man in her living room. Who was this man who brought tears to my mother's eyes. Julian quickly grabbed Asuki's arms and pulled her to the side. "I know you're not going to listen to me but at least stay out of sight so your mom can get through this without you, and promise me no matter what happens you will not come out of hiding until I tell you."

Asuki sighed and nodded waving her hands turning invisible. She walked behind the curtains and just watched.

Rose sighed and got off Kyrian and turned to Nick. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to speak to you Rose."

She put her hand up and sighed. "If you really wanted to talk to me you would have at least had the decency to cover up your cheek." She turned away from looking at him and crossed her arms across her chest. "You know how much I hate that bitch."

"Rose," He sighed and walked towards her putting his hand on her shoulder, "I wanted to tell you. I did I just didn't know how to tell you. I wasn't thinking when I pulled that trigger. All I saw was that my mother was dead and I wanted Stryker's head on a plate. I was blind to everything else in the world."

She turned around and cried into his chest. "I heard you blame Acheron for her death…" She looked up at him and closed her eyes. "Is that true?"

He rested his chin on her head and closed his head. "That's right I do blame him for my mother's death because it is all his fault."

Rosalinda stepped back and shook her head. "Well, that is going to be difficult for you. You either have to let go of your anger for Acheron, or you let me go because he is your daughter's godfather."

He went into complete shock as he looked down at Rose. "He's their what?"

She put her hand on her hips and glared at him. "What do you want from me Nicholas you left me here to raise two baby girls with no help from anyone else if it wasn't for Acheron and my grandmother both of our daughters would have died, and who do you think is going from dimension to dimension every day when he's not dealing with Artemis or the dark-hunters trying to find our daughter huh? We owe him a lot and if you want to go ahead and hate him that's fine but you have to leave me and your daughters behind."

Nick stood staring at the woman he loved more than anything on the entire planet. "Fine for you I will do just that. I will let go of my hatred for Acheron."

She smiled and jumped into his arms kissing him hot and passionately. He quickly grabbed hold of her and kissed her back wrapping his arms around her waist.

Julian waved his hand for Asuki to come out. Asuki stared at her mother and father hesitantly as she waved her hand becoming visible again and staring at them nervously.

Hey guys so I know you all wanted an add on of Cherise and Thorn however I have not had a lot of time to write now because of A-school but I did make this one up for you since all of you have been dieing to read Rose and Nick's reunion so I wrote that up for you but I want to let you all know next chapter will defs have some Cherise and Thorn

Sherrilyn Kenyon owns the dark-hunter series not me and I just want to say that I love her and can't wait to get son of no one. NOONE RUIN IT FOR ME.

I think by now you all know which characters I own so I won't write them all.
