IT'S BEEN SO LONG I'M SOOOO SORRY! Anyway, tons of Everlark fluff in this one! Enjoy!

Katniss' POV

After about 20 minutes of kissing, the people who were knocking finally decided to go away. Immediately after the knocking though, the phone next to the bed starts to ring. Peeta stops and hesitantly picks up the phone.

"Hello? Oh! Venia, Octavia, Flavius! I'm so sorry! Yeah, I'll be right out." Peeta says and gets out of bed.

"Is it really already time for them?" I rhetorically groan to myself.

I don't really want to get all dolled up for these interviews tonight, I'd really rather stay here alone with Peeta. But, this was my idea. I look over at the clock and see that it is 6 o'clock on the dot. They came a little early then, since we didn't answer the door right away. Peeta opens it, and there they are with suitcases filled with gadgets and substances to make us look good. Peeta goes to take a shower and get dressed while our prep team smothers me with questions. They talk so fast that I usually just nod and smile at them. Peeta walks out with a towel wrapped around his waist, and Octavia basically throws me in the bathroom to take a shower. I stay in the shower longer than usual, because this time I actually want to look good. I even bother shaving my legs, mostly because I don't want my prep team to wax them like last time. I finally decide to get out, when I rub lotion all over and put on the soft robe these bathroom have in them. I walk out, and see they're all sitting there waiting to style me. Everyone but Peeta.

"Where's Peeta?" I ask.

Peeta's POV

I take a quick shower, and then the prep team gets to work on me while Katniss takes a shower. They have me get dressed in a black tuxedo and black shoes. Hopefully they're not trying to do the whole wedding thing again. They slick my hair over to the side like I usually have it, and that's it. I'm done.

"You can go now." Octavia says.

"Go? Go where?" I ask.

"With Delly and Madge, we already did their makeup and clothes. You and Katniss are going to the interviews separate. You'll be going early with Delly and Madge right now, and Katniss will be there last." Flavius says.

"Oh, I see." I say with a fake smile.

I really wanted to go to the interviews together, but if this is the way it is, oh well. I walk out the door and see Delly and Madge standing there waiting for me. Madge's hair is straightened and down, and she's wearing a short pink dress with white daisies on it. Delly's hair is in some sort of braided up do, and she's wearing a short, sparkly navy dress.

"Ooo look at Mr. Handsome over here!" Delly says with a laugh.

"So we're leaving early I guess?" I say.

"Yeah, they actually have the limo waiting for us. I wonder what we'll do getting there so early." Madge says.

We all go downstairs and get in the limo waiting for us outside. When we pull up to the interviews, no one is even there yet. Inside, there's just people setting up. We find Delly and Madge's seats, which is front and center next to Effie and the prep team's seats.

"They probably just want Katniss to make an entrance." Delly says.

The girls go on and gossip about how pretty their dresses are, and their hair. I go backstage which is familiar as ever. I sit in the only chair there, just waiting for time to pass by. Katniss probably won't be too excited about this idea of us not walking out together. When the clock strikes 7:15, I hear Capitol people filing into the theatre anxious to hear the truth about me and Katniss. Backstage starts to fill up with stage directors. When it's 7:45, I'm actually directed to the stage, where I see Caesar Flickerman sitting there, waiting patiently for me. There's actually two chairs there. That's right, everyone probably thinks our love was fake. I hear the crowd chanting PEETA PEETA PEETA!

"You're up." One of the stage directors says.

Huh. It's weird how they want me out so early. I walk out on stage, put on a winning real smile, and wave to the crowd. It's going to be so weird telling the truth to these people. I shake hands with Caesar, and sit down on the plush chair. We don't have microphones yet, so we have a personal conversation while the crowd seems to get louder.

"Are you nervous?" He asks with a laugh.

"Not really." I say with a shake of my head. "Why did they make Katniss and I show up separate?"

"They want her to make an entrance. Also, we want the answer about your love to be a big reveal. So… is it real?" He asks jokingly.

"It wouldn't be such a big reveal if I told you, now would it?" I say with a laugh.

Katniss' POV

My prep tram explains how they made Peeta go early so I could make an entrance, and how they want the truth about our love to be a big reveal, blah blah blah. I really wanted to go on stage with him, not alone. But this is a big deal to everyone. They all want to know if it's real. My prep team surprisingly puts minimal makeup on me, and leaves my hair down and wavy. Then, my dress. They help me into a sort of poufy, strapless, dark green dress that gathers at the waist, and comes right above my knees.

"No more girl on fire? Or makeup?" I ask.

"We want to show Katniss Everdeen for who she really is." Venia says.

I slip into a pair of matching green flats, and they give me a small green purse that wraps around my wrist.

"What's this for?" I ask.

"The ring." Flavius says.

"Oh, right." I say.

It originally was my plan to give Peeta the ring after, but the interviews works just as well. I tuck the ring in my purse. Then I just stand there staring in the mirror, and I don't see some girl, but myself.

"Cinna would've loved to see her like this." Octavia whispers.

Before I know it, I'm in the limo on the way to the interviews. Then, my prep team leaves me and I'm directed to the eerily familiar backstage. I see Caesar and Peeta out there, already smiling and laughing. Even though I'm not wearing heels, my legs are shaking like crazy. People come out and strap microphones on them, and someone puts one on me as well. Then, Caesar stands up, introduces Peeta, and then introduces me which is my cue to come out. I walk out, smile, and wave to the crowd. It's so hard to hold back from just collapsing on Peeta to stop the shaking in my legs. He's wearing a black tuxedo, and he's sitting in the chair nearest to Caesar. I sit in the one next to him, knowing I have to hold back my feelings until Caesar asks the big question. I cross my leg and rest my hands on my legs while I smile at the crowd. I'm still really nervous to say the truth about everything. Peeta's face shows that he knows this, and I can tell he's resisting to hold my hand. The crowd finally calms down.

"So, is everyone ready to know the answer? Is everyone ready to know if the love is real? Katniss! Peeta! Star-crossed lovers from District 12! Was it all a show?" Caesar asks the crowd.

The crowd roars in consent.

"So Katniss. Peeta. We are all dying to know. Does the love exist?" Caesar directs his attention to us.

Peeta smiles at me leaving a dramatic pause for the crowd, where we hear gasps and cries. Finally, I can no longer stand it and I just blurt it out.

"Yes!" I almost yell.

I immediately jump out of my chair and jump onto Peeta. He hold me there and holds my hand calming me down immensely. Then, out of excitement and true love, he kisses me for a long time leaving the crowd screaming for more. It feels so right being up here admitting this to everyone. Now, it seems our love is truly official. I feel so giddy and happy, that apparently I almost look dizzy and dazed from the question Peeta asks.

"Are you okay?" He asks with a laugh but still concerned.

"Yeah just a little… morning sickness from the car." I stutter out lying.

The truth is I'm just so happy.

"Morning sickness or motion sickness? If you have something to tell me, maybe now isn't the best place!" He says jokingly.

I realize what I said, and my face turns red as a tomato I imagine. Stupid! So stupid! I was so nervous, I said morning instead of motion. Still, everyone is cracking up at Peeta's joke, so I just laugh along with them. It makes me feel more at ease and ready for this interview. Caesar quiets the crowd down and continues with the questions.

"When did each of you fall in love with each other?" He asks.

"Well… My story from the first Hunger Games was true. The whole thing about the first day of school." Peeta says.

I hear multiple "awes" from the crowd, and even one from myself.

"And you Katniss?" Caesar asks.

"Our kiss in the cave when both of us were awake and not sick. It made me feel… this need for Peeta." I say and look up into his eyes.

Every time Peeta and I answer a question, the crowd just goes crazy.

"The wedding Peeta mentioned. Was it real?" Caesar asks me.

"No." I say. "That was a lie. We were never really married but…"

"We're getting married very soon." Peeta finishes.

With that, I pull the silver ring out of my purse and slip it on Peeta's left ring finger. The crowd just about dies of happiness.

"And Peeta. The baby. Was that made up too?" Caesar asks.

"Yes." Peeta answers.

The crowd sighs with relief. The last thing they wanted to know was that the pregnancy was real, and that the baby died like they were told.

"Well that's good to know." Caesar says. "Can we be expecting any little Mellark's any time soon?"

Peeta's face turns bright red and he turns his head to me.

"Uh… Uh… I guess that would be up to Katniss." He says.

This is really a subject I wanted to discuss with Peeta a lot later in our marriage, alone, but I guess I have no choice but to do it here. I look up at him, and imagine spending the rest of my life with him, and the wonderful father he would make. I look down at my feet, and give a small nod.

"Maybe not soon, but eventually." I say jokingly.

The elated crowd roars with delight, knowing that someday Peeta and I will be having children of our own.

"Now a more serious subject…" Caesar says. "Katniss, when you were in District 13 for that long time without Peeta, what did you feel?"

The memories almost bring tears to my eyes. How do I even put that feeling into words?

"It was the most horrible feeling I've ever had. Truthfully… every day I did nothing but hide in supply closets shutting out everyone else. And every night, I would wake up screaming from nightmares, and had a deep longing for his lips to comfort me. But he wasn't there…" I say slowly admitting my feelings to everyone, but mostly, Peeta himself.

He smiles down at me and pulls me in for a long kiss.

"I'm here now." He whispers.

There's a long pause in the room, but Peeta speaks up again.

"When I was here in the Capitol… it was the exact same way." He says.

Then I kiss him for a long time, and the whole room actually sighs. I'm so glad he's here with me, and that I'm his for the rest of my life.
