lets do this okay PERCABETH OK
Percy had been thinking about this for days. He'd finally thought of something he could do and Annabeth couldn't. He was way too excited about this.
"Annabeth!" Percy knocked on the Athena cabin door. He could hear snickers coming from his girlfriend's half siblings, which ceased as quickly as they started, probably due to a death glare from Annabeth.
"What?" She asked, opening the door.
"Come!" He grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward the basketball court (which he'd always thought was a bit out of place in a demigod training camp but hey, he wasn't complaining.)
Annabeth yelped in surprise. "Where are we going?"
"Do you know how to play basketball, Wise Girl?"
"Oh, Percy, honey." Annabeth said, fake sympathetically. "You've been thinking about that this whole time?"
"Maybe." Percy responded. "But I found something!"
"Okay, Seaweed Brain. Teach me." Annabeth said. "AH! Oh."
Percy laughed, giving up on dragging her and just picked her up and put her over his shoulder. "Easier."
"Fine." Annabeth grunted, probably sending a death glare to him mentally.
"It didn't last long, Annabeth, we're here." Percy said, trying to calm his girlfriend. And trying to get her to not kill him. You know, the usual.
"Fine." She grunted again. Percy stepped onto the basketball court and she struggled off his shoulder. She could tell he was trying not to laugh.
"Okay, so there are three positions and five players. Forward, guard, center..." Percy continued on, but Annabeth tuned out early in. "...automatic foul. Got it?"
"What?" Annabeth realized she was supposed to be listening. "Oh, yeah. I got it."
"Really? Then what does the center do?"
"Oh, um... Just explain again. Simply."
"Okay." So Percy explained again. Simply.
"Okay, let's get to it."
And so they did. It turns out Annabeth was just humoring Percy, and she did in fact, know how to play basketball. And it turns out, she was better than Percy.
She won the game 24-22.
"Well." Percy panted at the end of the game. "You knew how to play, didn't you, Wise Girl?"
"If you count playing since I could walk as knowing how to play, then, yes I did." Annabeth replied.
Percy sighed. "And your not going to let me have my shirt back, are you?"
"Oh, never." Annabeth replied, grabbing his shirt that he shed an hour ago and running with it through Camp.
Leo Valdez and Nico di Angelo had never laughed harder in their entire lives.
Jason was on the ground. He was almost crying. He had never laughed harder, either.
Chiron wasn't pleased. Everywhere the couple had passed had ceased their activities and started laughing.
No one ever forgot it. Ever.
I FELT THAT LAST PART WAS ESSENTIAL OKAY HAVE A NICE UNTIL I UPDATE GOODBYE.
