Okay, here's the next chapter. I'm probably going to be able to update every two weeks. There's probably about 5-7 more chapters unless what I'm overthinking things.

Reviews/Comments/Critcism is/are very appreciated, as I've said many many times before this.

I tried getting line breaks to work, but my iPad makes everything on the document editor really trippy, so I'm just separating perspectives and stuff with dashed lines.

Well enjoy.

"Ness? Claus? Lucas?" Paula had just been brought back to full consciousness by Kumatora. They were in the room where Claus had spent most of his time over the past week. She looked around. Ness was standing up with an unsure expression. Claus was sitting down on a chair, more focused on staring at Lucas who was awake now, but still not looking great. Paula noticed this, "Lucas, are you feeling well?"

"Yes, I'm doing well," he answered, not very convincingly. He looked sad, for some reason which Paula and Claus were considering questioning. They left him alone for now though. Ness knew exactly why, yet he said nothing.

Lucas had also been somewhat confused on why Ninten was here helping them. Maybe he had gotten through to Ninten, or maybe Claus had convinced him.

They brought Paula in about half an hour after Ness had left them to check on Lucas. Ninten had directed her to come with them once people began to file out of the cafeteria. Once Kumatora got one minute with Paula, she was back to normal.

"What happened? Where are we?" she seemed to have not remembered anything since the day they were brought here. Paula was panicking a bit, unsure if she was alright.

"Paula, you're fine," Ness calmed her, "we're in the pigmask base. We're going to take it down."

"How? And who are they?" she asked, motioning towards Ninten and Kumatora.

"My name is Kumatora," Kumatora told her, "I formerly worked for the militia in resistance to the pigmasks."

Ninten remained silent, trying to not be reminded of 'who he was.' In honesty, he felt a hint of shame when he thought about the fact that he was a pigmask. This is where Ninten needed to be though, but still he had a hard time sticking with it. He had to work against what he knew was right every day, but he knew he could make it right in the end.

"Paula, we need your help to 'un-zombify,' people," Ninten told her, changing the topic of conversation, "Brainshock is the only way to do that, and Fassad doesn't know this. We're going to do each person individually so we don't attract too much attention."

"I'm willing to help," she agreed, "Anything to end this war."

"I don't mean to ruin this," Claus broke his stare to Lucas, "but if we are going to help all of the PSI users in this building, we need to spread out our actions. If we keep bringing people into this room, Fassad will get suspicious."

"Couldn't they just go to their room?" Ness asked, as if the answer were obvioius.

Yet, he was wrong. "Ness, that wouldn't work," Ninten corrected him, "They wouldn't know where their room is, and they likely share it with another person who likely isn't brainwashed. I thought you would know that considering you were brainwashed before. You don't remember anything when you wake up again." A vibrating sound came from Ninten's pocket. "I need to go. You guys should get started on this." Ninten left Ness, Claus, Paula, Lucas, and Kumatora together.

They had finished their planning in about fifteen minutes. Figuring that since they had two people who could use brainshock, Kumatora and Paula, they would un-brainwash two people from the same room at a time so that they would be safe from being found out. Lucas and Ness could show them how to act like everything was running smoothly for the pigmasks after receiving this information from Claus. Ninten could get people to come to be brainshocked by either Paula or Kumatora since he the mentally unaware people did whatever he said without choice (which disturbed Ninten and the others). Claus would serve as a messenger because he could move about without causing trouble since Fassad knew he was there.

That night Ninten managed to find space for Ness, Paula, and Kumatora to sleep so they wouldn't all be sleeping in one room. Ness ended up with a PSI user named Poo, who Paula had used brainshock on to make it safe for Ness. Kumatora and Paula ended up in the same room, giving them another place in which they could perform PSI brainshock without suspicion arising.

Claus and Lucas ended up in the same room as originally planned before Lucas and Ness were captured.

"Lucas," Claus stated confidently, "I know something's bothering you." Lucas appeared uncomfortable at the mention of it. He opened his mouth to give an obvious excuse until Claus countered, "It isn't just your PSI fever. It's something else."

Lucas looked down in frustration, "Claus," he let out the rest of his breath, unsure of what to say, "I just had a bad dream earlier. That's all." Lucas tended to underestimate his personal problems, feeling insecure on whether he'd be considered a crybaby for having those problems.

"What kind of dream?" Claus asked him, interested.

"I don't want to talk about it," Lucas refused. Lucas saw his brother's concern, and tried to compensate to relieve him, "Maybe later. I'll tell you when I'm not sick from this PSI fever." Lying down on a bed, facing the ceiling Lucas' thoughts escaped through his mouth, "Claus, will things ever be normal again?"

Claus' own wandering mind was caught by this sudden question. "Is that what your dream was about?"

"N-no," Lucas said, with slight hesitation, "I mean, sort of.. No." Claus knew how to discern a lie from Lucas just as well as he could tell the difference between the moon and the sun. Claus grinned and let the poorly done lie go though. He got the answer to his question.

"I don't know, Lucas," Claus sighed, "Maybe we can be back in Tazmily with dad someday, but mom is.." Claus' voice dissolved as he thought about it. His mood dampened, Claus went to sleep.

Lucas woke up and rubbed his eyes. "Claus?" he called into the room, surprised he didn't hear his early-rising brother making a sound. The morning dimly lighted the room through the small west-facing window. There was no answer. Lucas looked around worried. "Claus?" he called again.

'I'm sure he'll be back,' Lucas told himself. But after ten minutes he still hadn't returned.

Ninten, Lucas telepathically called one room over, Do you know where Claus went?

Ninten seemed unsure about how to answer that, He'll be back soon, is all the reply Lucas got.

No one else could answer it, and the only actual answer he got was pretty vague. Ninten was right, though. Claus did return eventually. He opened the door. Lucas, hide.

Lucas jumped up, assuming it was just Fassad coming around the corner trying to convince Claus, in his unfair ways, to give up PK Love to them- And that it was. Lucas managed to hide in a corner behind the desk where he was fairly certain no one would see him.

"Are you positive that you won't?" Fassad asked Claus with a smirk.

"I won't," Claus asserted. There was something off about Claus' voice. It sounded tired, as if he had been exerting all of his energy. As Claus walked away from Fassad, he was unbalanced.

Fassad's tone changed dramatically in his frustration, "Well then I'll see you tomorrow." Fassad slammed the door behind him as he stomped out of the room.

"Claus," Lucas said softly, "Are you okay?" He stood up from his hiding place and walked towards Claus.

"I'm fine, Lucas," Claus answered trying to remove his brother's concern.

"You sound tired," Lucas persisted, "And why were you limping into the room?"

"Lucas I'm– Ah!" Claus winced in pain when Lucas put his hand onto Claus' shoulder. Lucas seemed a bit scared after that. "I'm fine."

"Claus..," Lucas looked his brother in the eye with extreme concern.

"He's been torturing me to make me want to join him," Claus explained, "You happy now?" He seemed agitated for needing to explain that. He was, of course. Claus had tried to keep Lucas from knowing anything about this, so there would be no worry or sympathetic gestures. Things didn't go according to his plan, however.

Lucas used Lifeup and Healing on Claus' injuries, since Claus didn't have the PSI capabilities to do so himself. Claus explained to Lucas how he had been healed by Ninten every now and then, and he was alright. Lucas knew Claus wasn't alright though. Lucas knew that Claus was more physically sensitive to pain than most people for some weird reason, and he tried to heal Claus as much as he could.

Lucas and Ninten were some of the best healers someone could ask for. They were very cautious in how everything was position when they healed, and the rate at which they healed was safe. A mistake a lot of PSI users made with healing is that it can be as dangerous as PK Thunder. The body cells multiplying and repairing at unnatural rates was extremely unsafe on large scales.

"Thank you," Claus said quietly, sitting down. "I'm sorry.. I didn't want you to know about that." There was an awkward pause after this. "I wanted you to know we would be okay in the end of all of this."

Lucas just embraced his older brother.

"Lucas, your PSI fever is gone," remembering what Kumatora had told him about Lucas' PSI being immeasureably powerful. Claus could feel it now, as they were right next to each other. Lucas also seemed more comfortable than he had the day before with a PSI fever.

"I barely noticed," Lucas said, a bit confused on how Claus realized this.

Claus quickly became concerned for Lucas' abilities to handle his PSI. If he were forced to answer, Claus would admit that he was somewhat jealous of his younger brother having stronger PSI than he did.

He wasn't the only one concerned, though. Kumatora and Ninten were both thinking about it as well. Even though Fassad was dense, he would have to be one-hundred percent oblivious to not notice Lucas' PSI if he ever used it. It could endanger their attempt to bring down the pigmasks.

"It felt like I was being hit with a taser or something," Ness described to Claus and Ninten. "Are you sure that was Lucas' PSI?"

"Yes," Claus had an emotionless look on his face as he answered. They were in Ness and Poo's room. Poo was still very confused on what was happening, and he hadn't gotten a good explanation after being brainshocked by Paula. He was patient and respectful though, knowing their intentions were good. Lucas was still sleeping, after getting less sleep than usual the night before.

Paula and Kumatora were there as well, trying to brainshock six people at once. Paula was one hundred percent focused on the task at hand. Kumatora overheard their conversation, "I'm sure Lucas will learn how to control his PSI so it doesn't do that anymore. Give him time."

"How do you know?" Claus asked.

"I know people," she simply answered. "Agh it's taking forever," Kumatora groaned, "Why does it need to be so hard to do this."

"Fassad does it this way so they don't come to their senses during a battle," Ninten explained to her. "He doesn't want people to figure out how to stop him as easily as you did."

"I'm about done with that nutcase," Ness said, "If I see him in the halls when we're leaving this room I'll blow his head off with PK Rockin' Ω."

"Fassad has PSI too," Ninten warned him, "He's not someone you want to have a fight with either."

"I'm sure Lucas could do a bit of damage to him then," Ness mumbled in argument, hoping no one would hear it. Claus, however, was within earshot of his comment and shot Ness an agitated look, not willing to let Lucas get into a fight with Fassad. "I'm just kidding."

"What?" Ninten was confused after not hearing Ness' original comment.

"Nothing," Ness answered quickly

"Finally!" Kumatora sighed in relief, and then ensued the mumbling of six very confused PSI users.

After they were all done sorting out the confusion it was almost evening. Ninten felt as if he had done enough work to go to sleep at this point, since Fassad hadn't called him to do anything against his newly adopted point of view. As he walked something felt off. The halls were empty, unlike how they usually were at this time of day. He let that thought go aside, but then realized how quiet everything was. It wasn't right.

Just as Ninten was about to enter his bedroom, his arm was twisted behind his back, and he felt cold metal fettering his wrists. He turned to see two pigmasks.

"What are you doing?" Ninten asked angrily, "I'm the freaking general here, what makes you-"

"Fassad's orders, now shut up kid," one of the pigmasks pushed Ninten along.

So it's Fassad who is doing this, Ninten thought to himself. What could Fassad possibly be trying to do. Had he been too obvious with his interactions with Claus and other people?

As they turned a corner, Fassad was standing there, clearly pleased with himself. "Someone looks upset," he commented sarcastically.

Ninten didn't answer.

"I know what you're thinking, Ninten," Fassad started, "You want to know what is going on probably. And I'll be happy to answer that for you." A brief pause. "You performance as a leader here has certainly gone down hill."

"What do you mean by that?" Ninten asked him.

"You think I don't know?" Fassad laughed, "I know you're plotting against King Porky, and I'm not going to let you get away with that."

Ninten seemed surprised, asking "How did you know?"

"I'm not stupid," Fassad seemed mildly offended, "I know that the idiots with PK Love managed to convince you to join their side. I know the second one of them came back to take down this base. I know you're helping them, and I'm not going to let you get away with it." Fassad was angry like Ninten, but in a very different way. "If you hadn't been here to screw everything up, I might have been able to convince the PK Love users to pull a few needles for me. I tried to be kind to them and show them the way things work around here, but you screwed it up."

Ninten glared at Fassad, "I didn't mess up your plans. I was stupid to join this in the first place." Fassad was taken back to Ninten's audacity. "You're not trying to accomplish anything good for mankind. You and Porky are trying to destroy the world, and turn it into some sort of twisted hell."

"I've had enough of this," Fassad stopped Ninten's list of valid points, "You have betrayed your King and country. If you have lost your spirit of loyalty, allow me to force it back into you."

Ninten was then carried away from Fassad. He knew what they were trying to do to him. No no no no no no no this isn't going to happen. Ninten quickly used Offense Up on himself, and miraculously escaped the grab of the pigmasks. He ran, more like sprinted, to find wherever Claus, Lucas, Ness, Paula, anyone was.

There was no doubt that the pigmasks had already called for back up. The first room he came upon was Ness'. Ninten pounded the door with his foot, as his wrists were bound behind his back. Ness opened the door.

"Ness, we need to get out," Ninten said briefly.

"Why?"

"No time to explain. We just need to get everyone else, and get out." Ness didn't object, and followed Ninten down the halls. The two of them made for Paula and Kumatora. They were both closer, and if there was going to be a fight, why not have two offensive PSI users? There was no doubt that there would be people already at Lucas and Claus' room. The pigmasks were smart enough to figure them out.

"Kumatora, can you help me with these?" Ninten indicated the handcuffs that were placed around his wrists.

"Wait, what's happening?" Paula looked around in confusion as Kumatora began melting the metal with a weak PK Fire.

"We need to start moving," Ninten decided he'd explain right now, since no pigmasks were relatively near. "They figured us out. I was on my way back, and I got arrested. Fassad knows, and we need to get Claus and Lucas as fast as we can, and get out."

They began to cautiously walk down the hall, trying to make little sound as their feet made contact with the ground. The hall was empty again. Almost empty, at least. When the group was almost to Claus and Lucas, they noticed about fifteen pigmasks trying to defend.

"This stupid door won't budge," Claus became frustrated with the thick wooden door "They locked it from the outside." He paused for a brief moment as loud sounds of running and shuffling feet penetrated the room, "What the heck is all that sound out there?"

"Claus," Lucas said, "It might be better that we stay in here if something odd is happening out there."

"That's nonsense," Claus decided to try different PSI techniques on the door. Claus became frustrated after his several attempts of PK Thunder and Fire failed, "Screw it, I'm using PK Love on this thing."

"What!" Lucas was in worried shock, "Claus no! That will break-"

"That's exactly what I'm trying to do," Claus stated as he stood in front of the door, which was no longer a door as it was blasted into millions of pieces.

Claus peered around the doorframe, only to see some unconscious pigmasks lying nearby, and Ninten, Ness, Kumatora, and Paula standing about ten feet away.

"Thanks," Ness wiped his sweaty forehead.

"What happened?" Claus asked, mildly confused as Lucas walked up to his side.

"Well, we were coming to find you and-"

"There's not time for that," Kumatora cut him off clearly agitated, "Come on, we're leaving."

"But what about-"

"I got Poo to keep working on what we had going here," Ness answered Claus' unasked question. "Now you two, come on."

Both of the twins, unsure of what was happening, followed the group through the halls. Those had seemed to be the only pigmasks until they reached the only exit known to them. It was in the large, concrete, hangar room with weapons and pork tanks lined up everywhere. There was a vast span of flat concrete in the center.

Fassad stood at the head of the pigmasks and brainwashed PSI users, smirking as he chewed on a banana. "So we're trying to escape now, are we?" he asked rhetorically, "Well, I don't think you're getting anywhere."

"We're not wanting to fight you," Ninten answered him, "Let us leave and no one is getting hurt."

Fassad laughed hysterically, "You think six people could beat an army of hundreds? Hah! Best joke I've heard all day."

"Have you heard yourself recently?" Ness mumbled.

"Have fun trying," Fassad smiled, "You might just prove me wrong." The pigmasks began marching forward. The PSI users mechanically followed them.

As they approached, Claus tightened his muscles angrily and deeply breathed. Ninten and Ness both gritted their teeth. Lucas nervously pulled closer to Claus. Paula closed her eyes and tilted he head down. Kumatora looked right into Fassad's eyes.

A million things rushed through Lucas' head as this was going on. He had to get a way out of this. The pigmasks were almost upon them. Lucas, feeling like he was given no other option, shouted "Fassad, wait!"

Everyone looked to Lucas. Fassad halted the pigmasks, "What is it? I kind of want to get this over with."

"Ca-Can we-," Lucas stuttered, he breathed as he took a moment to organize his thoughts, "If both of us fight. Can we leave everyone else out of this?" He waited for Fassad to answer. No answer came. "If I win, you let us go. If you win... I'll join you."

"No Lucas!" Claus instantly responded to the last three words, "I'm not going to let you do that."

Fassad quietly laughed, "You amuse me, boy. I'll entertain your offer. Sure, we can fight. One on one."

There was no doubt Lucas was scared and nervous to do this. All Lucas wanted was for Claus and the rest of them to be safe. None of them would be in terrible danger if Lucas lost or won, except for himself.

"Lucas, I don't want you to do this," Claus seemed to almost be begging, "I don't want anything to happen to you."

"Sorry," Lucas whispered as everyone else stared in shock at the gentle, shy boy who had obviously left his comfort zone.

Lucas and Fassad approached each other. They stared at each other intensely until Fassad threw out the first PK Thunder. It moved very quickly towards Lucas, and Lucas managed to have a PSI Shield block at the very last second.

Lucas used Offense Up. Fassad took a few steps foward and used PK Fire to try to push Lucas and his PSI shield back. Lucas used PK Flash, but it was ineffective. Lucas put up PSI Counter and healed the little damage he had taken with Lifeup α.

Lucas's friends all looked at him worried as Lucas wasn't doing anything to even potentially harm Fassad. Maybe Lucas was trying to stall out Fassad? That wouldn't work though.

Lucas didn't know how to attack Fassad as he expertly dodged all the reflected moves. Lucas hesitated to use PK Love, but sent a weak alpha version flying at Fassad. This hit Fassad, and sent him flying backwards.

Lucas thought intensely for a moment about PK Love. If he were using it for the good of his friends and people he didn't even know, would it be worth it to take down a tyranny? Yes. Lucas answered himself. Lucas realized he was doing this for his friends, and there was no hesitation allowed on his part.

Lucas took a deep breath as his clenched fists sparked with PSI energy. Lucas looked forward at Fassad. Lucas raised his arm and PK Love Ω was sent in Fassad's general direction. The florescent array of hexagons hit Fassad dead on as he froze in his tracks at the power of PK Love. The next thing that happened was Fassad was flying through the steel walls of tanks, planes, and helicopters that used to neatly line up throughout most of the room.

Nothing was said by Claus, Ness, Ninten, Kumatora or Paula. Their surprise was evident from the looks on their faces. There was a moment of silence as Lucas stared at what he had just done with little to no effort.

"I think we can go now," Ness said quietly. Immediately as Ness got ready to use PK Teleport, the pigmask army started marching forwards again.

"Fassad!" Ninten called out, not even sure if Fassad was still alive, "You said we could go!"

As the hundreds of pigmasks kept approaching, their worries escalated. They couldn't fight off nearly 1000 pigmasks and PSI users.

"Lucas," Ness said, "Now would be a good time to use that PK Love thing again."

Lucas, however, was very spaced out, "I'm not doing that again." His voice seemed far off and quiet.

"Ness, just PK Teleport or something," Paula told him, "We're getting out of here."

"Okay!" Ness said in panicked frustration. Ness used his PK Teleport and they all vanished.
