this is so short but damnnnn i scared myself with this one!

When Piper was told that the group was meeting at the haunted house, she fully expected everyone to be at the damn haunted house.

Once again, Drew had lied to her. She was honestly surprised Stacey kept up with the lie, too. Usually Stacey breaks and ends up telling everyone Drew's plans, which ends up with her being charmspoken into doing Drew's chores for the week. Piper, Drew, Stacey and a bunch of other girls went to Madame Tousieque's Ladies Academy in Rockaway, New York. Rockaway is this adorable beach town about 45 minutes away from Manhattan, but still in New York City. During the summer, the three of them go to Camp Fun-Blood, which sounds like a horror movie title, but it's pretty fun. The most daunting thing is this rock wall with a lava painted floor.

"Everyone must have a partner. You'll be randomly selected if you're single." Piper heard a teen who worked there say. Piper pulled out her pocket mirror. She looked at her make up she did for her Black Widow costume. Stacey went as Captain America, Drew as Loki, so forth. Most of it came off, but the subtle make-up looked terrific against her caramel skin and her multicolored eyes. Her choppy, brown hair was pulled back in a bun and spray painted red. She had to admit, she was very pretty. Piper shuffled uncomfortably in her skin-tight, black jump suit. She wasn't the biggest fan of the costume, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

"Any single riders?" The teen called again. She looked around and half raised her hand, walking to the front of the line. She was placed with a boy in a Captain America costume. He had a fairly good build, really pale skin, blue eyes and light blonde hair. He also had a scar on his upper lip that she could not even imagine how it got there. "Next!" The teen called, which was them. They broke away from studying each other and went into the House.

"Okay," The boy said. "I expected it to be more... haunted?" He gestured to a pathetic display of dusty books with a cardboard ghost sticking out of one. A visible near'by speaker repeated "BOO!" many times. The room wasn't even dark. It had an old red carpet and military green walls, both of which were faded. It looked like something straight out of a children's book. Piper laughed. "No, seriously!" The boy walked over to a book and picked it up, reading the title. "Nancy Drew and the Ben and Jerry's Mystery!" He exclaimed. "Pathetic." Piper was doubled over laughing at this point. She picked up a book and read,

"Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Dust Uh-Oh." Piper read. "Uh-oh. What'd they do, shit in the fairy dust?"

The boy laughed. "Jason." He held out his hand.

"Piper," she offered, accepting his hand.

"Looks like the next room's open," Jason pointed out. "Let's go make fun of some new stuff." Instead of letting go, Jason simply moved their hands down to their sides, like a couple or a child and a parent do. The next room was a little more impressive. It was dark, and the ghosts were believable this time. "I think they simply didn't try with the last room," Jason said. "It would have been scarier if they had actually shit in the dust."

Piper laughed. "At least this room is dark," She pointed out. Also, I don't have an ass for a partner this year, she thought.

The rest of the house was scarier and scarier each room. Piper like that. She actually screamed last room, when it was a huge room, like a warehouse. All the lights were on, and it was fine. Then the lights switched off. It went completely black, no-o light-o. "I've been waiting," a voice said, then proceed to laugh like a maniac. A glowing figured then proceeded to chase them around the room with an actual, legit chainsaw until they found the door. "Beware!" It screamed as they were leaving. Now, Piper didn't think it could get any worse than that.

The next room, Jason was practically hugging her at this point, she was so scared. Anyways, the next room, or rooms, was like a min house. They went in, were greeted at the door by a real estate agent, who proceeded to give them a tour of this "fun, fiesty, fixer-upper home!". "I bet you two will just be in love with the next room!" She announced. She lead them up stairs into the attic, where she then abandoned them, ran, and "locked" the door.

"Well folks," a voice from outside came, "It looks like something has cut all our power lines. Keep calm and- OH DEAR LORD!" followed by screams of bloody murder. They heard a window crash and a bunch of loud, mean grunts. Piper jumped so high she fell. Directly into Jason. He caught her, and damn was she lucky, as she was blushing so hard (so was he.) Honeslty, the whole thing was so realistic. The lights flipped on and an "EXIT" sign hung above a door, leading right back to the entrance of the haunted house.

"Dinner?" Jason asked, as they exited.

"Sure."
