I drew nonstop. Well, almost. I had the presence of mind to hide the book when ever I heard a Decepticon coming. Which wasn't often. I sketched out every new mech I had seen. Starscream with his sneer, Frenzy and Rumble tackling each other (I could totally see them do that), the cat robot 'Ravage'. When I grew bored with that, I began redrawing all of the Dinobots. It was easy now, having drawn them so many times.

I miss them. And my family. I sniffled gently, wiping off my tears before they plopped down onto the paper. My pencil tapped on the book as I tried to figure out what I wanted to draw next. Keep your promise to the Dinobots. Yes, I would do that. I would make that picture, with a few extras that were sure to excite the Dinobots once they got me back!

Later...

It took time, but it wasn't like I was doing anything else. Eventually I had chibized every Decepticon that I had the misfortune of seeing. Which was quite few, surprisingly. If I looked hard enough, every once in a while I could see Decepticons passing in front of the doorway. My glimpses were few and rare, and because of that, I was pretty sure I didn't do that good of job.

Oh well. I had just started flipping back to my previous pictures, trying decide my next project, when I hear a clanging noise. I relax once my eyes find the culprits. "Whoa...what happened to you guys?" The twins grimaced. "Don't ask." I glared some more. "Fine, there was a fight."

Earlier, at a power-plant somewhere in the US...

The Dinobots were on a rampage. They didn't really care for orders to stop, and any Con that got in their way was throughly thrashed, if not almost off-lined. Even Swoop, who was normally not as aggressive as his brethren, didn't hold back.

It didn't take a genius to realize the reason why.

Megatron still had the nerve to 'question' it. "Do you have a reason, Prime, for unleashing your pet monsters?" He was lucky that one of Coneheads had been in an angry Grimlock's way of getting to him.

"Mine!" "No, mine!" Slag and Snarl were playing tug-o-war with Wildrider, after bulldozing through the rest of the Stunticons. Swoop was trying to piggy-back on one of the Seekers. Sludge was smashing random mechs, Bots or Cons, into the side of the power-plant. And Grimlock? Grimlock was tossing Dirge around like a chew toy.

Optimus decided to step up and order them to stop. The result wasn't exactly...planned. Grimlock glared at him and charged, with Dirge squirming in his mouth, right at the Prime. Only Jazz's quick thinking saved his leader from being smashed flat into a pancake. The T-rex roared at the heavens, frustrated that his prey was out of his reach.

"Prime, I recommend that we retreat at the time being, and leave the Dinobots to calm down." Prowl's suggestion was taken very well, as every Autobot scurried out of range. "Cowards!" A Decepticon managed to scream before getting grabbed by Sludge. "Oh frag-"

Needless to say, it had been a sounding defeat. For both sides. A Dinobot win, for once. Sort of.

Now...

I stared suspiciously at them. "Why do I get the feeling there's more to it than that?" Instead of replying, Frenzy snatched my notebook. Before I could stop him, he had flipped through all the pages. And was showing one to Rumble. "Hey, bro! Look at this!" I glared at him. Why does it have be my one picture of them he points out? And a not very good one at that?

"Cool." Rumble snatched the book from his twin, and started flipping through it himself. Grr. "Give. That. Back. Now." They ignored me. Again. Until my sketchbook was tossed back, pages flapping. I looked up, seeing one of the drawings ripped out in Rumble's servos. My favorite picture of the Dinobots.

I admit it, I lost my cool. I lunged at them, grasping for the picture. But Rumble easily held it out of my reach. Both of the twins laughed at my futile attempts to get it back. Sniggering, Rumble finally tossed onto the floor of the cage, where I quickly snatched it.

"You really like the Dinobots, do you?" I stared at Frenzy, who had asked the question. "You know, don't hate 'em or anything too much." "Yes, I do." I admitted. "I like them the way they are, not as the killing machines that everyone seems to think they are." "But that's what they are! Where'd you think I got these wounds from?"

"What!?" I screeched, Frenzy and Rumble quickly scurrying out of the way. "You were attacking them!? You jerks!"

They left my cage soon after that. Probably figured out that I wasn't going to calm down anytime soon. But as soon as I got up to start pacing, I realized one important thing. I screamed, "HOW DARE YOU!" They had taken my notebook!

Frenzy and Rumble ran down the hallway, wincing with loud cry that came from the human's room. If she wasn't careful, she was gonna get squished. You could almost hear Starscream complaining about it...

"What is that fragging organic doing now!?" Called it.

The twins made it to Soundwave's room without too much trouble. No one was around to notice them running with a human version of a datapad. "Hey boss! We got it!" They showed the larger mech the drawings inside the book.

Soundwave was silent as he took it in. Frenzy, eager to talk, added, "She says she really likes the Dinobots. Really." Hmm. It seemed like he needed to talk to this human himself.
