Chapter 16: Derek's Parenting
"Last call for passengers on flight 231 to Las Vegas, Nevada." The man voice said from the speakers throughout LAX Airport.
Stiles pulls away from out of the arms of her mate. "I have to go Der."
"I don't know why you didn't let me just drive you." Derek says as he watch Stiles pick up her duffle bag.
"Because you have to pick cubs up from school and an hour on a plane is better than driving for four or five hours to and from las Vegas." Stiles says.
"Fine" Derek says after a moment of thought.
"Good" Stiles says giving Derek a small smile as she makes her way over to him a gives him a small and quick kiss on the lips.
One of Derek hands comes up to cup Stiles face while the other one is on her waist bring her closer to him so he can deepen the kiss.
"See you in three days." Stiles says breathless after the kiss ends.
"Three days" Derek says putting his forehead against Stiles forehead while running his fingers down her arms sending sparks through each other bodies.
Stiles trip to Las Vegas was finally here. The other four cooks that tagged along was already on the plane taking their seats. Derek accompanied Stiles to LAX airport to make sure she got there safety. He would be watching Junior and Amber for three days which he was more than okay with that.
Stiles would be back Friday afternoon around four so Allison and Lydia would be picking her up since Derek would be in a meeting with some investors to branch out his company.
"Take care of our kids" Stiles says.
"I promise you they are in capable hands." Derek promises. "I love you Stiles"
"I know sourwolf...I love you too" Stiles says.
Stiles lips meet Derek's lips again before she pulls away with the duffle bag on her shoulder and makes her way towards the gate.
Derek stands in the same spot until he can't see Stiles anymore. Derek turns around to leave the airport terminal stepping out into the cold December weather.
As Derek gets into his Toyota rav4 he looks at his dashboard where the clock is flashing 1:34p.m. Derek has an hour to get to Beacon Hills middle school to pick up hid young pack members.
Derek pulls out of the airport parking lot making his way back to his home town.

Derek was at work when his phone began to ring. Derek took out his cell to see who was calling him to his surprise it was Beacon Hills Middle School which is weird because they've never called him before.
"Hello Derek Hale Speaking." Derek says answering the phone like professional.
"Yes, Mr. Hale this is Principal Donaldson at Beacon Hills Middle" The deep male voice said over the phone instantly Derek started to worry what had happen and who was injured. "I have your son Derek down here in my office after a little altercation with another student so I would like for you to come down here to sort this out before we suspended him."
" I'll be right there." Derek says and hangs up the phone before the principal can say anything else.
" There goes my promise Stiles" Derek says under his breath as he heads to his Camaro.

Derek pulls into the school parking lot ten minutes later and heads straight to the office.
As Derek gets closer to the office his werewolf hearing picks up a male voice arguing with the principal it really doesn't bother him until the other voice joined in the conversation.
'He's lying" The unknown angry man says.
"I'm not lying I told you what happen" Junior voice hits Derek ears.
"Was I talking to you, you little bastard now sit down before I bust your lip like you did my son." The man hiss at Junior.
Derek and his wolf are now pissed his wolf trying to break free so he can go rip this man who is threatening his pup. It doesn't get any better when he enters the office and look straight ahead to see a principal office and a tall blonde man walking towards his son.
Derek doesn't even pay the secretary any mind as she ask his name he makes his way towards the principal office just as the blond man reaches out to grab or hit Junior.
The next thing everyone sees is the blond man pinned to the wall by Derek. Derek has the man by the throat cutting off his airway. Derek doesn't care if he kills this man right now because all he sees is red, all he would need to do is dig his claws into the mans throat and pull it out.
Derek didn't hear the boy begging for his dad to be let go or the principal trying to calm down Derek it wasn't till Junior walks over and puts his hand on Derek shoulder that he calms down.
"Im alright dad" Junior ensures Derek.
Derek looks over his son he doesn't look like he has any injuries but his shirt is rip a little. Derek than looks up at the man he is choking to death his eyes are starting to roll in the back of his head and his feet are dangling off the floor.
The blonde man takes in deep breaths when Derek finally let's him go. Derek and Junior make their way back over to the other side of the room while the blond man son rushes to his dad side.
"You fought him." Derek turns to look at Junior who shrugs his shoulders before saying "he started it."
Derek looks back over at the tall, lanky brown eyed blond boy who fought his son. The boy has a bust lip and a bruise on his left cheek and a little blood on his blue shirt.
" What happen" Derek ask turning back to his son.
"That's what we are trying to find out here." Mr. Donaldson says standing behind his desk.
Mr Donaldson is a short man with honey brown eyes and his brown hair slick back dressed in a black pin suit.
"So if you all can sit down and be civil we can hurry and settle this quickly." Mr. Donaldson says making Derek and Junior take their seats while the other teen boy helps his dad to sit in their chairs.
"Okay who wants to explained what happen first" Mr. Donaldson ask look at both boys when neither answers he picks.
"Todd how about you go first" Mr Donaldson says then looks over at Junior "No interruption this time Mr. Hale."
"Thank you sir." The teen boy known as Todd says. Derek already doesn't like this kid he's a total ass kisser and from the scoff from Junior he agrees.
"Well my best friend Robert and I were walking down the hallway to go to our next class when Robert seen his girlfriend friend Christina talking to her friends Megan, Rachel, and Amber." Derek looked over at Junior who was tapping his foot consistently on the floor before he turns back to listen to the boy.
"When we got over the girls Robert and I heard them talking about a new years party Megan mom was going to be at the end if the year." Derek was listening to the boy's heart beat the whole time it was steady the whole time mean he was telling the truth so far.
"So while Christina was telling Robert about the party I was talking to the other three girls and I guess Amber didn't want me to put my arm around her like I had did Rachel because she push it off." Todd was saying still telling the truth.
"I asked her did I do something wrong and she said she didn't like been touch but before I could apology Derek here should up." The boy was good he had the innocent faced on his voice was steady if Derek wasn't a werewolf he would have bought the boy story, but because he is a werewolf he heard the spike in the boy's heartbeat meaning he was lying that's whole sentence was a lie and Derek know once you start up a lie more are going to follow. Junior has stop his foot tapping to glare at the blond boy.
" What happen when Derek showed up?" Mr. Donald asked obviously buying the boy story.
" Well he grabbed me and pushed me into the locker saying leave his sister alone and threatening me until Robert had to come and pull him off of me that's how he got his shirt ripped." Todd lies as the principal nods. Junior is fuming in the chair Derek can feel the anger rolling off his son.
"When Rob pulled off Derek he look like he was going to rip Rob to pieces so that when Lucas Christina brother had to pull Junior away which was a relief until Junior around and punched me in my mouth than my jaw before his sister and Lucas stopped him and now we're here." Tod says finishing his story.
"How bout I give you a nice black eye to match." Junior says through gritted teeth.
"So you admit you give him those injuries." Mr. Donaldson ask like he's got Junior in a lie.
"Well duh" Junior says sarcastically reminding Derek of Stiles " He didn't get them from nice and charming he was being rude and said some stuff I didn't like so he got what he deserved."
"And what is that exactly for you to put your hands on another student who can't defend themselves." Mr. Donaldson was asking as his voice was getting louder and harsh.
" You must want to calm down before you be in the same predicament as Todd over here." Derek says glaring at the principal who face and scent give off instance fear. "Now how about you ask my son what happen."
"Ummm...Mr. Hale what is your take on the story Todd told here." Mr. Donaldson ask in a calm voice.
" Well the first part was ture I guess I wasn't there...but the other half was total bull." Junior says.
"Well please enlighten us on what happen." The blond man that Derek had pinned against the wall earlier says sarcastically making Derek glare at the man.
"Mr. Adams please we don't need what happen earlier to happen again." Mr. Donaldson says and the blond absentmindedly reaches for his neck.
"You can start when ever your ready Mr. Hale." The principal nods.
"Okay I was walking down the hallway with Lucas, Scotty had just went to the art building for his class.

"So do you miss it in Seattle?" Lucas ask his new pack mate as they walked down the hallway.
"Sometimes but I think it's because I miss my friends Sam and Kayla" Junior answers.
"Do you still talk to them?" Lucas ask.
"Of course maybe two or three times a week they want to come visit during a school break." Junior says smiling think of his two best friends.
Junior smile vanish from his face when he sees his team mate Todd with his arm around his sister who pushes his arm off of her. Todd doesn't get the hint because he's arm finds it way back around Amber's shoulders.
"Can you move your arms off of me" Junior hear Amber ask irritately.
"Where should I put them" Todd says flashing Amber a smile before moving his arms only to move them around her waist a second later "here"
Junior is now standing in front of the small group. "How about you put them in your pockets before I break them off your body."
"Awe Junior buddy your hilarious" Tod laughs as he puts a hand on Junior shoulder. Junior looks down at the hand before flicking it off before looking back at Tod "Personal space ever heard of it." Junior says.
"Come on Junior we should get to class" Amber says knowing if she doesn't get her brother away right now thing could get ugly real quick.
"You should listen to your sister little man." Todd says making Robert and Rachel laugh.
"Dude your an inch taller than me" Junior says shrugging his shoulder. "And if I don't listen to my sister what's going to happen" Junior says a cocky smirk appearing on his face.
Now Lucas is on the otherside of Junior. "Come on D we should go now Amber coming with us so she doesn't have to be harassed by him anymore."
" It's not harassment if she liked it" Tod says with a smile which is gone a small dainty hand comes in contact with his face.
The hallway falls silent as everyone what's to see what the blond will do to the raven head girl who just slapped him.
" You little bitch" Todd hiss holding his cheek.
"As if someone with a brain and dignity would want you." Amber snaps before turning around to leave.
"Oh I'm not done with you." Todd says reaching out to grab Amber but in a flash he is pinned up against the blue lockers by Junior.
" DON'T TOUCH HER!" Junior growls in the blond face.
Junior shirt is being ripped while being pulled away from the now terrified teen by a pissed off looking Robert.
"Back off Hale" Robert yells.
"Make me" Junior says glaring at the burnette boy who has his fist bald up now which is not missed by anyone."
"Don't bald up your fist up if your not going to use them." Junior says through gritted teeth.
Christina has made her way in the middle of the two teen boys each hand on one of the boys. "Calm down, this is not necessary. Robert you and Todd should go to class and you too DJ."
Junior calms down a little at the touch of his pack mate before turning to walk with his sister and Lucas.
"This isn't over Hale." Robert yells.
"Never thought it was." Junior yells back as he keeps looking forward.
Junior keeps is ears open for any sudden attack as they get farther away from Todd and Robert. Good thing he did that because he as he gets to the end off the hall he hears a set of footsteps approaching quickly as if running towards them.
So on pure instinct Junior turns around to see Todd a few inches away from him. Todd swings at Junior who dodges the punch by side steps Tod and punches him in the jaw (the same side Amber slapped him on) knocking the boy down but not out.
The students are now surrounding the two fighting chanting fight fight fight over again.
Tod gets back up and charge at Junior again. Junior sees the coming towards him at full speed so Junior prepares for the final blow. Before Todd can even swing are strike Junior has his fist connected to Todd's mouth giving him a bust lip.

"You know the rest" Junior says to Mr. Donaldson who was listening along with Todd's dad Mr. Adams, and Derek who was now fuming in his seat this little punk had his hands own his baby girl, then called her out her name then tried to attack her and for that he doesn't see what Junior did that was bad he was just defending his sister.
"Well I have listen to both of your stories and now I will get some confessions from witnesses who were in the hallway and make my decision by the end of the week." Mr Donaldson says his hands intertwined together on his desk.
"So what is he suspended?" Mr. Adams ask looking over at Junior.
" Yes" Mr Donaldson says but quickly puts his hand up to stop any outburst "but so is Todd they both will be doing ISS."
"What is that?" Mr. Adams ask.
"In School Suspension" Derek answers.
"Yes, they both still will attend school but in an isolated room." Mr. Donaldson explains.
"What will happen after you finish with the witness confessions." Derek ask.
"Then one or both will be suspended for real then." Mr. Donaldson says.

After Derek and Junior left the school Derek drove them to McDonald so they both could have something to eat.
They decided to stay and eat instead of eating while driving. They both picked a table at the back where no one was sitting so it gave them some privacy.
After a few more quiet moments Junior ask the question that was on his mind since they left the school.
" So...am I grounded" Junior glances up at his dad "you know for being a great big brother and protecting my sister." Junior as the last part to ease Derek decision.
Derek can't help but laugh at Junior "you are your mother son."
"So you love me too and I'm not punished?" Junior says with a small smile.
" Yeah I love you, but you are grounded...not for protecting your sister, but for fight at school." Derek says making Junior smile drop.
"Well what did you want me to do let him punch me because that wasn't going to happen." Junior says irritated.
"No but you could have done some serious damage to that boy with your strength" Derek says when Junior looks up at him ready to defend himself, but Derek just holds his hands and continues " you've could have killed him and I don't want you to have to live taking someone's life... not like I did." Derek whispers the last part but thanks to werewolf hearing Junior heard it.
Junior remembers his mom telling Amber and himself about the first girl their dad fell in love with her name was Pagie and thanks to their uncle Peter convincing Derek to give her the bite to turn her she ended up rejecting the bite and he had to kill her to stop the pain.
"I'm sorry dad I'll try to walk away next time and avoid fighting next time." Junior says before eating his food.

Derek punishment was that as long as Junior was suspended he will have to do chores around the manor like cutting the grass, babysitting for the pack, washing dishes instead of using the dish washer.
"Well I hope you have a lot of paper plates then." Was Junior reply to that.
He also couldn't hang out with Ciara this weekend or anyone else that was going out.

"He did what?" Stiles yells on the other end of the phone. When Stiles had finally called Derek around four telling she had to go to a meeting about food preparation this morning and when she got back she fell asleep. Derek had told her about being called at work from the school and told her about Junior fighting. "Let me talk to him."
"He's actually outside mowing the lawn and he's not very happy about it right now." Derek says looking out in the backyard at very angry Junior.
" Seriously Derek that yard is huge...I'm so proud of you now he will think twice before fighting in school." Stiles says.
"Same idea I had" Derek says. "So do you miss us yet?" Derek ask a smile on his face.
"Nope" Stiles says popping the 'p' but Derek can see her smiling on the other end of the phone.
"Well I can cancels the plans for tomorrow night with the pack-" Derek was saying before Stiles interrupted him.
"What plans" Stiles ask.
"I guess you will have to come home and find out." Derek laughs.
"Derek Sabastian Hale" Stiles uses Derek full name like Junior or Amber name when their being difficult.
" Yes, Gemin Rosealee Stilinski" Derek says trying not to laugh at Stiles who is whining about how her parents never gave her a chance with that name.
" I so hate you right now" Stiles says.
"No you don't you love me." Derek counters.
" And what if I do." Stiles says slowly.
" Well I love you too." Derek says.
Stiles and Derek spend a couple more hours on the phone talking until Derek looks at the clock to see it almost ten at night and he has to be at work early tomorrow because he has investors coming in the morning for with a businesses meeting. So with some 'I love you' and 'goodbyes' Stiles and Derek go to sleep happy.

Las Vegas 10:00a.m.
"Last call for Los Angeles, California passengers." The female voice sounded through the airport.
" Home sweet home here I come." Stiles says making here way to her plane gate.
If Stiles would have looked around one last time she would have seen the tall blond man starring at her with electric blue eyes.
If she would have looked at the lobby while walking through the gate she would have seen the man pull out his cell phone and call someone.
" What is it Marco?" The deep British voice ask.
"I've found her sir" The blond man says.
There is the sound shuffling around being heard letting the blond man know the British man was moving to find a more private surrounding.
" Where is she?" The voice is cold and deadly sending a chill down the blond mans spine.
" She going home which is somewhere in California." The blond man says.
"Good job Marco, now I need you to find her and watch her I will be there in a week in a half... don't let me down." The man says.
" I understand Nicholas see you in a few days." The blond says before hanging up.
The blond man makes his way over to the woman at the desk.
"Goodmorning Sir, how can I help you today?" The female ask in a happy tone.
"Can I buy a ticket for the next flight to California." The man says giving her a charming smile.

Okay I'm I the only who hates Scott dad even before I knew he was Scott dad I didn't like him.
Lydia actually enjoyed and felt sonething when she kissed Stiles.
