I woke up to a bright light stinging my eyes and an uncomfortable cot underneath me. I tried sensing my surroundings , just to find, that I couldn't feel anything. Opening my eyes, I flinched slightly with the burning light. As I sit up, I noticed metallic cuffs on my wrists and I am shocked by a pulse of power when I try to pull them off. Sighing, I take a look around the room, wondering where I'm at. There was seemingly nothing else in the room, not even a door. Though I suppose it could be hidden. While I was inspecting the room, the lights suddenly blacked out. Hearing footsteps, I shift my back to the wall, trying to turn to the source. Just as quick as when they turned off, they were back on. Standing in front of me was none other than Mr. traffic light himself.

His stare seemed so... emotionless. No, he was frowning slightly. Without my power, I couldn't figure out his intentions, his mask shielding his eyes. Why was he just standing there? Was he analyzing me? I pull my cloak around myself, glad that it was somehow there. I was used to the glares from the monks, and I was used to them from the guards, the occasional curious stare from a new one before they were reprimanded. But this.. nothing is showing, no disappointment, no hate, nothing. I sat there, waiting for him to say something.

When Kyd first came to me and told me that she had been captured, I was ecstatic. I had been so angered over this new evil villain, that I had immediately raced to the cell. I had planned to interrogate her, Gloat over how easy It was to capture her, but when I got there.. Well, I had told Cyborg to turn off the lights for the room. I kinda figured that if she couldn't see me, but could hear me, that she'd be at least slightly intimidated. I thought my plan was great. Get your prisoner thinking you're better and stronger than them, then they'll easily comply. I proudly strode through the door, approaching the cot. I was expecting her to try to attack or make some sarcastic remark, something. But when he turned the lights on though, she didn't attack or anything, she just sat there against the wall. Slowly all the rage that had built up over her, started to fade. Looking her over, I realized that she looked younger than I was, like when I was back when I first left batman. Suddenly my mind went blank and every tormenting thing I was going to say faded. I tried to figure out what to say without sounding like a major jerk. Wait, she's still a villain! I need to interrogate her still. Now how to start..

" whats your na-" the alarm went off and I sighed. There was an intruder now? Turning away, I gave her one last glance before leaving to deal with it.

He was finally about to speak, he had started to say something when that stupid noise stopped him. He sighed and left, looking back at me briefly. Why must that alarm have gone off? I was finally about to know where I was taken to. Sighing, I got up and paced, my back to where the door was. Suddenly, I hear the hiss of an air vent coming to life. The walls around me started to spin and my vision blackened. I heard someone whispering into a mic, and a gravelly laugh. Heavy footsteps echoed through the empty room, coming closer to me. Someone pulled me up by the front of my tunic, my vision to clouded to see them. I felt hot, sour breath across my face, the last thing I heard before I blacked out,

" well look what we have here."
