Crossing the Line
"Tsunami!"
Ben and Luffy looked towards the doors just as they blew open, and a flood of marines ran in, and started to spread out.
"Where the hell are they?" a marine shouted.
Ben looked to Luffy and nodded, they both stood and started firing while running for the stairs.
"Go go go, follow them, team leader, we got two of them moving of the lobby stairs" the same marine spoke out
"Shit Luffy, get up to our floor, and tell them to evac to the 'home'. Escort Sanji out of here" Ben said while pulling out a grenade and tossing it down the stairs.
"Got it!" Luffy said then ran up the next flight of stairs.
Mean while been got of the stairs and pressed all the elevator buttons. When one opened he went inside, popped the top off, and threw a C4 pack onto the wire, quickly exiting the elevator, and detonating it.
Hearing the bell chime on the other elevator he readied a grenade and tossed it in just as the doors opened, then jumped to the side.
"get out grenade!"
*boom*
Ben quickly got in, throwing the bodies out, then stuck a marine's rifle to keep the doors open, and rigged up a quick mine in case the elevator tries to move again. After leaving it he grabbed his phone and sent a quick text to Shanks. Then went back into the stairs, shooting at the marines who were climbing up from the lobby, he started running up to the floor to help out.

Reaching the right floor, he popped out of the doors, only to be met with a all out brawl between some marine commandos, and Shanks crew
"Oi, Luffy, get down the hall to Yasopp, 3b" rockstar a newer member of shanks crew said
"Got it!" and Luffy was away, down the hall, knocking out a few marines in the process and eventually reaching the room, seeing that the door was off its hinges, he ran inside to see Yasopp shoot the last marine of a squad.
"Luffy, glad you're here" Yasopp smiled
"Same here, where do we evac from?" Luffy responded
"Basement, going to be hell getting there, let's get these kids over to where Sanji is"
"What room is that?" Luffy asked looking at the defenseless Usopp and chopper
"3h" Yasopp responded
"Oi Usopp, catch" Luffy tossed the pistol "keep it pointed down unless it's at an enemy"
"ah, um yes sir!" Usopp responded with shaky knees "got your back"
"Okay let's go!" Luffy charged out of the room, followed by Usopp and Yasopp who was carrying a blindfolded and noise canceling headphone wearing Chopper
Luffy was met by three marines one who had a rifle out, the others with combat knives, thinking fast Luffy rolled towards the marine with the rifle, kicking his jaw, and tripping him, then grabbing the rifle he used it to block a knife, and punched out the other marine, then spun the rifle and knocked out the second marine.
"here Usopp, take Chopper" Yasopp passed off Chopper then shot at a few Marines coming from behind them, then saved a Shanks crew member from being stabbed through the back
Following Luffy near perfectly through the brawl Usopp tucked Chopper into one hand, holding the pistol carefully, when suddenly a marine came out of a room having gotten in through the window and rushed at him with a combat knife. Rising up the pistol, Usopp froze at the thought of shooting, and the marine closed in the knife less than a inch away from Usopp, the marine flew back, having been punched by a fellow read haired member.
"Oi, were are almost there" Luffy shouted when he saw the door
Luffy was inches away from the door, when it flew off, breaking into several pieces while it carried off an unlucky marine. Luffy ran in, hearing a primal bellow of rage, Luffy spotted Zoro fending off no less than 20 Marines one of which raised his rifle and shot Zoro through the leg.
Zoro fell to one leg, dropping a sword in the process and let out another howl of anger and sliced through three more marines who tried to get past him towards the bed.
Luffy and Yasopp quickly got to work dispatching the remaining marines.
"took you long enough" Zoro smiled picking up his other sword
"He safe?" Luffy looked towards the bed
"perfectly, Usopp, come here" Zoro looked towards his son and opened his arms.
Usopp started to cry and ran towards Zoro hugging him, and Chopper at the same time
"Sorry about this" Zoro sad calmly
"I'm back!" the medic shouted wheeling a mobile bed into the room, flinging a marine out the window while doing so
"Oi is chopper still asleep?" Yasopp asked suddenly
Usopp looked to the younger boy and nodded "Out like a rock"
"Good" The medic said while he and Zoro moved Sanji onto the new mobile bed "set him down with his father, your pushing the bed" The medic looked as Usopp, who did so without complaint then grabbed the bed.
"Luffy in the front, I'll be in the back, you and Yasopp on the sides?" Zoro suggested while moving towards the door.
"Sounds good but what's the best way down to the basement?" Yasopp said out
"East stairs are no good, Ben blew them out" Luffy spoke up "Maybe a elevator?"
"Suicide" the medic chipped in
"The west stairs are all the way on the other side of the floor though" Yasopp called out.
Then the Medic moved towards the door "Red haired! Armored escort form up!"
Within a minute the majority of the red haired fighters were outside the door providing plenty of cover.
"Were to?"
"The west side stairs" the medic responded
"No problem, we'll get you there."
…
Shanks closed his phone, and then looked back at the building. Seeing both of them gone he grabbed Ace's body and dropped it in the back of the vehicle, and hopped in the driver seat, making quick work of the hot wiring, and he drove towards the 'home'

"Rrahhhh!" the 'armored convey' of red haired crew charged through the hall way, trampling Marines in their wake and made it to the west side stair way.
"Thank you men, keep them occupied up here for ten minutes then fall out to your secondary positions!" the Medic shouted then opened the door "go go go" he shouted to Luffy then to Zoro and usopp as the bed went through the door way, Yasopp and the Medic bringing up the rear
"You serious?" Usopp asked "you want me to go down these?" Usopp looked down the several flights of stairs, many filled with marines
"you got ten minutes to get to the bottom!" the medic shouted to the front while firing down at the Marines
"Here Usopp" Zoro lifted up the front of the bed while facing down the stairs "I'll help, let's go"
With Luffy clearing the way in the Front they caravan of people started down the stairs and a fast and steady pace. Reaching down three whole floors.
"Fuck Marines above us!" Yasopp started firing like crazy
"shit! Got hit!" Zoro clutched his side where he got shot, and his already injured legs buckled causing the bed to almost slide down the flight into Luffy
"here this way" the Medic pulled Usopp and in turn the bed through a door out of the stair well and onto a empty floor, soon followed Zoro and Yasopp and lastly Luffy who came through and slammed his body weight against the door, then pulled a knife out of his thigh.
"fuck that hurt" Luffy gritted his teeth then looked around "Zoro you okay?"
"dandy, what's the plan now?"
"well we can't go back through there, maybe we have to try the east side stairs after all" the medic piped up.
"I got an idea." Everyone turned to the corner where Ben walked around holding flash and smoke grenades was. "Let's try the elevators now"
"Okay then let's move" the medic and in turn the small caravan of people moved to the elevators
"Okay these two I took out of commission" Ben pointed to one side of the elevators "and these two are running marines, keep that bed out of sight." Ben clicked both the elevator call buttons and him Yasopp Luffy and Zoro stood in front of them
*ding… ding*
"Oh fuck, Fire!" a Marine shouted
A few gunshots and thrown marines later the elevators were clear
"Okay, Usopp, Yasopp, you two get in that elevator with the bed, the rest of us will get in this one, we will go down one floor, then you guys follow us, that way we reach the basement first and can clear part of it for you guys" Ben pointed to the elevator then to them
"Got it" Yasopp replied
"got it" Usopp replied a little while after
"Good, wait till we are a floor below you then follow us" Ben and the rest quickly got into the elevator and started the decent.
Usopp pushed the bed in, and Yasopp watched the floor numbers, then when he saw the elevator was a floor below he ran in and pressed the basement button.
"hey, Yasopp, what was it you were trying to tell me before? About lies in my life?" Usopp asked.

*ding*
The second the doors started to open Ben threw the grenades and wrapped around the wall as did the others who covered their eyes and ears. The grenades went off and the four ran out of the elevator and struck down the stunned marines, and kept pushing them back until the other elevator dinged open
"Over here!" Luffy waved Usopp and Yasopp over to behind a van.
"Damn, where's the getaway car?" Zoro asked while a bullet nick his shoulder
"I wouldn't call it a car" Ben said then clicked a car unlocker. "There!" Ben pointed towards a flashing bus a few rows of cars to their right. "stay here, don't let them get closer, I'll be right back" and with that Ben started off in a mad dash for the bus, firing his rifle one handedly and rolled behind some cars, disappearing from sight.
"how are we suppose to keep them away? We got one guy with a gun!?" Zoro asked
"out of ammo, shit" Yasopp turned back around, then looked at Usopp "pass me that pistol!"
Usopp silently did what he was told and quickly passed the pistol then went back to looking at the ground.
"Oi, you okay?" Zoro asked Usopp when he noticed he looked distressed
"Yeah fine" Usopp replied dully
Zoro was about to ask something else, but the sound of several mini guns caught his attention. He looked up over the car but didn't see anything but a trail of bullets, and following the trail he saw a large, superbly armored bus rolling towards them.
"Get on!" Ben shouted stopping the firing and opening the doors.
Yasopp directed Usopp to a ramp that allowed the bed to roll up onto the bus easily, and quickly everyone was inside.
"Zoro help me move Sanji" the medic called out
Yasopp quickly went up to the drivers area and "Ben look, we got Marine vehicles, lower the gun seat for me"
"on it"
Yasopp quickly went back down the bus and hopped into a couch like seat that lower and then ascended with him in it
"Firing the cannon!" Yasopp shouted and suddenly a loud Boom echoed in the basement and a armored Marine vehicle just outside the basement exploded, and a flaming wheel rolled down the ramp

Shanks stepped out of the car, and walked further into the large abandoned warehouse, all the way to the door of his room, he grabbed the door knob and his side flared up causing a large bout of pain. Shanks went back to holding his side, and slide down against the wall. He looked back at the entrance where the car was parked, the light coming in seemed to get a bit brighter, and slowly Shanks eyes closed.

"You bastard!" Zoro punched Yasopp just as he excited the turret seat "You told Usopp you fucker!"
"I thought he needed to know the truth!"
Zoro punched him again knocking him down and went for another punch then Usopp grabbed his arm
"Dad stop! He just did what he thought was right!" Usopp yelled stopping Zoro instantly
"Yeah well did he tell you the whole story, about how he abandoned your mother!" Zoro yelled at Yasopp.
"I told him everything he needed to know!" Yasopp stood back up and spat some blood on the ground
"You prick" Zoro raised his fist
"Shut up all of you!" the medic called from Sanji's beside. "Sanji is in a coma."
A silence quickly settled on them except for the dull roar of the busses engine.
Zoro was the first to speak "How bad?"
"He might not wake up, and if he does, there will be brain damage. Best case scenario, he wakes up not knowing any of us or the hell he has been through. but if he doesn't wake up and start breathing on his own, the battery on my machines is going to give out, and if that happens, he dies.
